DREAM AND A NEW FRIEND

Eriza wasn't sure where she exactly is in that moment. She was sure that she went to sleep, but how is possible for her to be in the middle of this strange forest?

She stand up from the cold ground where she lied face down just a second ago and fully studied her environment.

Everywhere around her were flying fireflies, fruits on the trees and grass in their bottom glowed with soft silver light. The sky was crossed by myriad of shiny stars and the Moon was full and incredibly beautiful in its size.

Where am I?

- Hey! Eriza!

Girl turned to the source of the sound just to see ChibiChibi coming out from behind one tree, but that wasn't what surprised her. ChibiChibi wore her own dark blue and yellow sailor fuku with red ribbons and white boots. Is she a Sailor Scout too?

- ChibiChibi, where are we?

- This is your mind, Eriza. - said ChibiChibi like it's just an ordinary fact. My mind...?

- Yes, every human has a form of his or her mind, but almost no one can see how his or her mind looks like. You have that possibility because within your body live two souls.

When Eriza frowned, ChibiChibi smiled and then showed her something what looked like forest path.

- C'mon! We have to go! Someone wants to meet you!

Before she was able to say anything, Eriza was pulled forward. Just a moment later girls were in front of dark doors with gold doorknob. The little one opened them and Eriza followed her in some kind of hallway.

- Now we have to enter my mind. Don't be afraid!

When Eriza was pulled forward again, the doors behind them closed and in front of them appeared brand new doors, completely different from the others. Their silvery-blue pad was crossed with lily motives, and in centre of them was the same gold crescent moon mark she saw on her cards this evening.

ChibiChibi pressed the white knob and doors suddenly opened. Eriza had to close her eyes because the silver light from behind them blinded her. Then she felt that ChibiChibi is pulling her inside, and when she was able to open her eyes again, Eriza gasped.

They were in the middle of huge dancing hall made of white marble with big silver vases with purple lilies in them. The magnificent crystal chandelier illumined the whole hall and the floor full of symbols in different colours that Eriza didn't understood at all. Dancing hall was surrounded by marble columns decorated with silver leafs. On the other side of the hall were huge white stairs covered with lilac carpet.

- Before you ask, this is my mind.

Eriza frowned again, but before she was able to ask anything else, the silhouette suddenly appeared on the top of stairs, first vaguely, but later clear and in all her might. Eriza covered her mouth with her palm when she realised in whose presence she was.

- Your Highness... - sad ChibiChibi with respect and bowed deeply.

- A lot of time had passed, Sailor ChibiChibi Moon. - said gentle and mighty voice of legendary queen.

- Are you...

- That's right, Eriza. I'm Queen Serenity, the queen of the Silver Millennium, the Kingdom of the Moon.

Eriza bowed too and she regretted because she was still in her pajamas. Not ladylike at all...

When she was younger, her mother used to tell her the stories about Moon Kingdom and Queen Serenity, but up until now she didn't believed it was true, despite her mother reassured her in it.

- It's nice to meet you, Eriza. Please, get up. - prompted the queen.

When Eriza straighten, she took a closer look at the queen: her hair was long and silvery- purple, tied in two long ponytails with two buns on top of each of them. Her long white dress was tight in the topper and wider from knees down to the floor. On her chest was big white ribbon with crescent moon brooch in centre of it. Queen was very pale, but very beautiful and with warm silvery-blue eyes.

- My Queen, you seem to be very worried. - said ChibiChibi with worried voice that Eriza never heard before.

The Queen took a deep breath, like she has all problems of the world on her back, and started to talk:

- I'm very worried, ChibiChibi, and that's why I asked you to bring Eriza here.

Eriza and ChibiChibi obviously became anxious and Eriza remembered she had a bad feeling after she defeated Alexia in the duel this evening.

- The situation is very serious. The balance in time-space continuum was disturbed lately, and I'm sure the Scouts felt it also. The cause of this imbalance is lying in your recent duel, Eriza.

- How? What happened? - asked Eriza, trying to stay calm.

- I don't know the reason, but tonight when you accepted the duel and played your first card, the balance was disturbed. That caused the Scouts to lose their powers.

- Lose their powers?! - shouted Eriza and ChibiChibi at the same time.

- Exactly. From some unknown reason, all their powers were transferred in your deck and now only you, Eriza, can release those powers, and your garnet will help you with that task.

Eriza squeezed her hands trough her long hair in anxiety. She didn't know what to say...

- Is there any way to fix this, my Queen? - asked ChibiChibi suddenly.

- That's why I called you here. Now listen to me carefully: as I know, you deck is not complete and that's probably the reason why all this is happening. You have somehow found the remaining two cards in order to get the balance of the time-space continuum.

- But I didn't even know that my deck was complete! As I know, my father started to make it, but he didn't manage to finish it because he passed away. Six months later I got that deck and I have no idea who finished it.

- Them we have to find that person! - said ChibiChibi and Queen nodded.

- But, what with the Scouts? Who will protect the Earth?

You have to help them in that task, both of you. Find them and give them this information, and then help them in fighting evil while you're searching the remaining cards.

Meet the Scouts? Real Scouts?... Erizas head threaten to explode from all those information. Again, something bad happened because she was unable to stop it...

- I don't have very much time left... - said Queen suddenly, while she started to fade.

- Wait! Your Highness! What if they don't want to cooperate or if they think that I'm the enemy?! - shouted Eriza desperately.

- They will believe you. I know them very well, and they'll do anything in their power not just to fight hard, but to help you in finding the cards...

Queen then vanished, like she never was there. Eriza and ChibiChibi stood in the middle of the dance hall quietly for some time, both with anxious expressions.

- Just when I thought that my life couldn't become more weird...

- Cheer up, Eriza! You'll meet the Scouts, after all!

- Yeah, but I'm afraid that they would not want to have any business with me...

- Stop whining already! Will think about this tomorrow! You don't have to be drama queen!

Eriza looked her furiously and crossed her hands on her chest.

- Zip it and get me out of here!

Next day, Eriza was sitting at her sit in the classroom, all hunched. She was totally absent minded, not interested in anything what's happening around her. Her sight was focused on cherry tree in her schools' courtyard. Branches swinged on the breeze, some of gentle pink petals fall off and were flying together with the wind. Pink flowers and leaves were shining under dew drops. Looks like it will be fine day...

- Haloooo! Earth to Eriza! - Andorias' voice brought her back to the reality and she looked at her friend. The red-heard girl was sitting on her desk swinging her legs which didn't touch the floor.

- You said something? - asked Eriza gloomily.

- What's wrong with you today? - asked Andoria and frowned.

- It's nothing. - answered Eriza pronouncedly, but then Arika entered the conversation:

- You're a terrible liar. Today you're more zombie-like then usual.

Eriza glared at her direction, but then she looked at the cherry tree again.

- Oh, came on, Eri. You know you can tell us everything. How can we help you? - asked Shatell while crouching next to Erizas' chair.

Eriza looked at the blondie and her concerned blue eyes. She didn't know what to do; they wouldn't believe her anyway, just like they don't believe that ChibiChibi exists. But she couldn't just stare in the cherry tree and feeling bad for herself. They are her friends; after all, they should believe her.

Eriza took a deep breath and started talking. As she continued with her story, her friends had become more pale and astonished. They glanced at each other few times, trying to stay calm, but Eriza didn't miss it. The words she pronounced seemed crazy even to her, but that was truth. She told them about the Queen, the Scouts, her deck, everything...

When she finished, girls stared at her with disbelief and none of them didn't move a muscle. Finally, Shantell said calmly:

- Are you completely sure it wasn't just a dream?

- Yes, did you eat something wrong last night? Did you eat too much for the dinner? - joined Andoria.

- No, I didn't! Stop threat me like I'm a lunatic! It is like I said, I didn't made it up and it was not just an ordinary dream!

- But you have to admit, all this sounds a bit silly. - said Arika while spinning her pan between her fingertips, - Moon Kingdom... Yeah, right...

That was it. Eriza stood up so sudden that she knocked down the chair she was sitting on just a moment ago. She didn't care for other student staring at her and her impulsive act.

- I had enough of you! You, if you are my friends, should try, at least TRY, to consider what I just told you! But you're treating me like a moron! I'm already tired of listening other students' teasing, but I didn't thought I would expect the same from you!

Girls just stared at her in complete shock and Arika stood up with frustration:

- How can you say that we're not your friends!? We were by your side every time when it became ugly, don't forget it!

- Now it's ugly! I don't know what to do anymore! My whole life was turned upside down over night for who knows how many times, and only thing you're able to say is that I made everything up!? - said Eriza with her voice up, barely refraining tears. She didn't need more humiliation...

- Eri, we're trying to help you. We just wanted to be sure...

- That I totally lost it, don't you!? - Eriza cut Shantell in the middle of the sentence. When she felt that she's starting to fall apart, she ran in doors' direction. Someone stopped her and considering the grip, it was Arika. She released herself from her strong grip and run off, telling she doesn't want to see anyone. She didn't care for the near start of the class or her teachers' calling for her in the hallway. In this moment, she felt so lonely... So lonely...

Meanwhile, Arika was stopped by Andoria on near entrance in the classroom. She just couldn't believe what she just heard from Erizas' mouth.

- Andoria, let go of me! I have to talk to her!

- I won't Arika! You'll just upset her and yourself even more!

Arika wanted to argue, she really did, but Shantell put a palm on Arikas' shoulder and said with calm voice:

- Let's leave her alone for today. It will be easier having a serious conversation if she's calm.

Girls then just nodded and came back to their seats, while Shantell stared at the same cherry tree like Eriza a few minutes before. She never saw her that angry and made Shantell to rethink the whole situation.

Is it possible that she's telling the truth...?

Don't you think you were a little bit too harsh with your friends today? asked ChibiChibi while eating the rest of chocolate pudding from the plastic cup, sitting on Erizas' shoulder.

- No, I don't! I said what I meant and I'm not sorry.

ChibiChibi just rolled her eyes while Eriza kept walking. She was just coming back from Alix and he asked her the same thing, like he and ChibiChibi has some kind of a deal. That's why she was even more angrily.

She haven't spoke to girls for the whole day, and when school finally ended, she put her shoes on and went without saying goodbye to them. That wasn't typical and Eriza was sure that they were angry with her, but she didn't care at all.

For how long will all this madness last?

Eriza wanted answer her back, but when she went down to the corner, she felt she bumped on someone. The hit was so strong that she together with the spirit fell down on the ground. Next thing she heard was weeping and sobbing.

When she opened her eyes, a little girl with pink hair tied in two ponytails with two bunny ears -shaped buns on top of them was sitting before her. She wore blue school uniform and white and red shoes. As Eriza could see, when she fell down, she hit her knee because she held it brokenly.

Eriza stood up and shook down dust from her clothes. Great, just what I needed...

- I'm sorry, little one. Here, let me help you. - said Eriza when she bowed. Little girl shook her head hysterically and angrily said:

- Rather watch where you're going! I don't need any h...

Both girls went silent when they looked each other in eyes. Eriza felt something different about that girl, not only because her eyes were ruby – red, but also she radiated with some strange sort of energy, so cheerful and lovely, almost magical. The little one wiped her tears and it seemed that she wasn't so furious any more.

- Here, try to stand up. - said Eriza, lending her hand to the girl, but when she stood up, she droop again. Only then Eriza saw that her knee was badly injured, even bleeding.

Poor thing! Eriza, you've got to help her!

- Who is that!? – asked the little girl suddenly, completely shocked.

- Wait, you can see her!?

When girl nodded, Eriza and ChibiChibi looked at each other in astonishment. ChibiChibi then landed next to little one with smile on her face.

Oh, how rude from me, I'm sorry. I'm ChibiChibi.

Little girl laughed and they shook their hands, even if ChibiChibi was almost invisible.

- I'm Rini, nice to meet you!

Eriza wasn't sure what just happened, but she called her mind back and kneeled down next to Rini. When she put her hands just a little above her injured knee, girl looked at her with anxiety, but ChibiChibi encouraged her:

Don't worry! She knows what she's doing.

Eriza then started singing some melody which was in her mind since her childhood, but didn't know where she heard it in the first place. After one short moment, a gentle amount of purple light came out of her crossed palms. When she moved her hands away, the injury was gone.

Rini bended her leg for a few times just to be sure that she's not imagining it. She then stood up and said with excitement:

- What a cool power you have! Thank you... sorry, I don't even know your name.

- Eriza. It's Eriza.

Girl nodded and smiled at her as a sign of her gratitude. Eriza also stood up and only then saw that girl is just a bit shorter then her, which made her very embarrassing. When Rini put her school bag back on her shoulders, she grabbed Erizas' hand and said:

- Thanks for curing my knee once again! Will you walk me home?

Eriza was so surprised with that sudden gesture she didn't really heard what she said:

- I don't know...

Of course we will! It will be our pleasure! answered ChibiChibi instead. When Eriza gave her a glare, Rini said sadly:

- If you don't have time, it's okay...

- No, it's not the problem, Rini. We'll walk you home, but I just don't like when she's answering instead of me.

ChibiChibi just protruded her tongue and giggled and Rini joined her.

- Shall we? - asked Eriza with impatience.

- Yes! Follow me! - said Rini and pulled Eriza forward.

Eriza didn't know why, but she felt like she had seen this girl somewhere before. And that energy of hers was just too strange... But from some reason, Eriza wasn't so furious like she was before they bumped on each other.

About half an hour later, Rini got out of the house where she lived with Serena and her family. Eriza and ChibiChibi were waiting on the garden entrance and it looked like they had another one of their arguments.

When they bumped on each other, Rini was really angry with her, but when she looked her in her pink eyes, her anger magically disappeared. But something was wrong about those eyes. They were too sad.

When she healed her knee, she knew that she can trust her and from then on she considered Eriza and ChibiChibi her friends. As she could estimate by now, Eriza Kanashi was Serenas' age, but was much more mature than her future mother was.

While they were walking toward her home, they talked about lots of things. ChibiChibi also told Eriza had a very bad fight with her friends lately because they don't believe in her powers or ChibiChibis' existence.

Rini was pretty surprised by that information because she considered they should believe her if they were her friends, but maybe Eriza gave up on them to quickly or her reaction was too impulsive. When Rini told her about her opinion, Eriza answered with silence. When they finally arrived at their destination, Rini suggested she should make a first step and apologize. When she heard that, Eriza got really angry, but Rini was stubborn and she had ChibiChibis' support. When Eriza saw she can't fight them, she reluctantly accepted. Rini then said she's coming with them because she wanted to meet her friends and that left Eriza pretty surprised.

- Are we ready to go?

Rinis' question stopped Eriza and ChibiChibi in the middle of their fight. Eriza then showed the way and they were gone. Girls didn't say a single word for some time, but Rini then asked:

- Where are we going? At Shantells' home?

- No, we're going to ballet school, she has a training now.

- Really? She wants to become ballerina?

- She wanted, but she injured leg very badly four years ago and they told her she will never become ballerina. But it's okay, now she wants to become a vet.

- How long do you know each other?

- Over ten years, I think.

- Why are you arguing then!? Shouldn't you stop with that by now!?

- You're one wise little girl, Rini. - said Eriza with a tender smile, causing ChibiChibi to gasp.

- You're not the first who say it! - said Rini with the giggle.

After twenty minutes of walking, girls finally arrived at the ballet school. Doorman let them in and instructed them in which dancing hall was Shantell. When they found the right door, girls entered the hall silently, hearing the music from the radio. Hall seemed pretty big, but that was probably because only one person was in there. Rini was astonished when she saw who Shantell is: her long blond hair was tied plaid and she wore black tricot and pink ballet shoes.

From first blonde didn't notice them at all and continued dancing, like a beautiful swan. But then she opened her blue eyes and looked at the huge mirror on the wall. She stopped and turned on her heels with surprise expression on her face. Rini then came closer to her and lend her a hand:

- You must be Shantell! I'm Rini, Erizas' friend!

Shantell just laughed and they shook their hands.

- Yes, Rini, that's me. I haven't seen you before...

- We met today. - said Eriza, shortly and gloomily. Shantell got serious, but Rini continued cheerfully:

- She told me you had a fight, you know? That's why we came here so she can apologize!

Rini pulled Eriza for her hand closer to Shantell, causing ChibiChibi to giggle:

Rini, you're a miracle! She would never be so patient with me!

- Rini, it's nice of you to try make her to do that, but...

- I'm sorry.

Shantell gasped in surprise while Eriza stared at her, emotionless. Rini didn't say anything and just smiled together with ChibiChibi who was sitting on her head. Shantell then smiled and Eriza was much more relaxed. Rini then told Shantell how she met Eriza, Shantell asked with who she lives, how old is she and so on. Rini felt very pleasant in Shantells' company, she was very smart and gentle. She reminded her of Amy and Michelle. Eriza was much more bright, but that was hardly noticeable.

When it was time to go-off, Rini took a chance to show Shantell that Eriza isn't crazy:

- Am, Shantell... Eriza also told me what was the reason for your fight and I think you should listen to her once again.

Shantell looked at her in confusion and Eriza stood up from the bench.

- I can see ChibiChibi, Erizas little guardian spirit, too. - said little one with serious voice. Shantell was still confused, but then ChibiChibi floated by her and sat on her shoulder. Blonde turned her head at that direction instinctively.

- She's sitting on your shoulder. You should feel the heat on that place. - explained Eriza.

Everything was silent for some time and finally Shantell said:

- This is crazy...

- I know it looks and sounds crazy, but you have to believe her. I'm a witness!

- Shantell, it's okay if you don't believe, that's your right...

- No, no, Rini is right. I'm not sure if I should believe in this right now, but I'll try...

ChibiChibi winked to Eriza and Rini and then came back on Rinis' head. Eriza smiled again and asked:

- Shall we?

Shantell and Rini nodded and Shantell took her bag where she put her clothes. While they were going out from the building, Rini asked:

- Where are we go now?

- To meet Arika, she works in one super market nearby.

Rini took Erizas' hand again and they continued to walk. After some time, ChibiChibi appeared on Erizas shoulder and said with her mind:

Looks like everything's on its place.

Eriza smiled again, but she still wanted to know why she feels this strong energy around Rini. Maybe it's connected to our mission, but who knows...

Beyond the Earth, way up in the universe, a huge icy- blue comet was approaching the blue planet. Astonishing comet made of ice was home of beautiful, but dangerous princess snow Kaguya.

The princess observed the Earth she desired for so long and her icy – blue lips expanded in evil smirk.

- A beautiful planet Earth. At long last, it's time to add it in my icy collection.

Followed by an evil laugh, she raised her hand and crackled with her fingers. In near moment, a giant white bear appeared in front of her, made completely of ice and snow flakes. When it roared madly, the queen pointed the Earth.

- Go to the patrol. If anyone stands in your path, destroy him!

The bear then turned into a snow flakes and headed toward the Earth, followed by queens' malefic laugh...

Rini didn't expect for Erizas' friends to be so cool, but what was most important, they really cared for their friend.

After they left the ballet school, they walked for a few minutes to super market where Anika worked. Rini asked why is she working when she still goes to school, but Eriza just hinted it's because of her family situation. Rini then decided not to ask her about that anymore, it is rude to pry into other people's business. She is one lady, after all.

Arika was very beautiful, but also very tall girl with curly brown hair. She reminded her of Mina, but Rinis' first impression about her was she was pretty arrogant and that reminded her of Raye. But she forgave Eriza very soon and she didn't have any problems in accepting ChibiChibis' existence.

When her shift ended, girls went to find Andoria, but she had found them by almost crushing them with her bike. That red – haired British tomboy left great impression on Rini. Not only she wasn't angry with Eriza but she also hugged her like nothing had happened. Andoria reminded her of Lita so much. Nobody would say it on the first sight, but those four girls were dream team, each of them different from one another, but complementing each other well.

Now, five of them, together with ChibiChibi, were goind in Rinis' house direction. Andoria drove her bike slowly so girls can catch up with her and Rini, who was sitting on the seat behind Andoria, holding girls' shoulders. Arika, Eriza and Shantell chatted about something while ChibiChibi was eating donut Eriza just bought for her.

- Will we see each other sometime soon? - asked Rini suddenly.

- Of course. Now when we know where you live, we can pick you up any time you want, Bunny! - answered Andoria. Rini turned her head and looked at three girls behind her, who nodded...

All of the sudden, someone screamed in adjacent street and girls hurried to see what's happening. Rini felt something bad is going to happen..

All six of them gasped when they saw horrific scene in front of them: a huge white bear was standing in the middle of the street and instead of people, on the sidewalk were big ice cubes with those poor people trapped inside. When bear looked at them with its bloody- red eyes, girls ran away in horror. But bear didn't want to allow them to run very far so he followed them, growling.

- What is that thing!? - asked Arika hysterically while running.

- I have no idea! … - was everything Eriza could answer in that moment. Rini was riding the bike together with Andoria and they saw how bear will soon reach them. I wish I could transform...

Bear roared again and in next moment, the whole sidewalk they were running was turned into ice. Arika, Eriza and Shantell fell down and hit with their heads to the ground. Andoria stopped her bike, but it slipped on ice and fell on Andorias' leg, while Rini flew few meters forward and stopped just in front of the bear.

- Rini! - shouted Eriza and ChibiChibi in the same time, Eriza still dizzy from the fall.

Rini was terrified and only thing she could was screaming. In that moment, on her forehead appeared golden crescent moon mark and glowed with blinding gold light. The bear covered his eyes and Eriza saw a chance to save her.

Before she stopped screaming from exhaustion, Rini felt someone pushed her in different direction from where the angry bear was. When she opened her eyes, she saw Eriza holding her while talking to her friends, but Rini was too exhausted to hear what they're talking about.

When she woke up, the feeling of exhaustion completely disappeared. She heard the same melody Eriza sang while healing her knee.

Rini, you're awake! Hurry, we need your power!

- What do you mean, my power...

- Rini, I have something to tell you... - said Eriza, while watching her hands with her head bent – It's my fault that you lost your powers as Sailor Scout.

Rini heard a short version of her story, but she now understands everything. And there was no time for loosing, it was time for fight!

- Then let's go, Eriza! We have to help your friends! - said Rini while pulling Erizas' hand.

- Why are you not angry with me? - asked Eriza surprised.

- We don't have time for this! Please, help me to transform! - Eriza looked at her for a moment, but then she nodded.

- Give me your brooch. Hurry!

Rini handed it over and Eriza and laid it between her palms. ChibiChibi appeared with Sailor Mini Moon card in her tiny hands and said:

Here. Now hold a card with one hand and her brooch with another. Now say Sailor Scout power - activate!

- Sailor Scout Power Activate!

In that very moment, her garnet glowed and transferred the power at Rinis' brooch. Eriza gave it back to her and nodded. Before she chanted the magical words, she smiled to both of them.

- Mini Moon Prism Power!

In next moment she was in her pink sailor fuku with red ribbons and pink boots on her lags. When she and Eriza arrived next to the Arika, Andoria and Shantell, the trio was already on the verge of their strengths, but Rini saw they tried their best to stop the monster, even though they were just ordinary humans. Arika even had her legs frozen and was unable to move.

She stood in front of them and shortly said:

- Thanks for your help, but now it's my turn.

She turned to a bear and raised her Pink Sugar Stick. The bear was still standing, but one of his legs was melting really fast. There is my chance!

- A despicable monster like you will not terrorise this town ever again! I'm Sailor Mini Moon and I'm here to punish you in the name of the future Moon!

When bear roared, Mini Moon raised her stick higher.

- Pink Sugar Heart... Attack!

Bear stopped in the moment, but pink hearts that came out from her stick weren't able to defeat him. At least, not yet...

Rini squeezed her stick stronger when saw bear starts to collapse. At one moment she even felt someone's power supporting hers, but it disappeared too soon and she wasn't able to recognise it. Bear finally fall apart and melted with roar of agony, and so melted his ice. All done...

When she looked back, girls were looking at her with approval, and Rini looked at her hands in gloves. It's good to be a Sailor Scout again...

Later, Rini was standing in the entrance in her house's garden while saying goodbye to Eriza and her friends. After they defeated the icy bear, Eriza healed her friends' injuries. Rini found out Shantell used mix of fire and deodorant to stop the bear from approaching and probably that's why one of his legs was melting...

- Am, girls... can you leave us for a moment? I'll catch up with you!

Three girls just nodded and greeted Rini once again. When they stay alone, Eriza asked with serious voice:

- Are you sure you're not angry with me?

- Completely! Why should I? You helped me to bring back my powers, after all.

- But you lost them because of me.

- It wasn't on purpose, you said it! In one way, I'm glad because I got a chance to meet you and ChibiChibi.

When Eriza looked away, Rini was scared she insulted her in some way, but then, she took out something from her pocket. When she handed it over, Rini was holding a deck of cards.

- This is a deck I used when I was your age. It's for Duel Monsters card game so I can teach you how to play.

Rini gasped. She had heard about that game, but she had never been playing it or knew the rules. Why is she giving this to me...

- But what about you?
