Lila sheathed the sword she had obtained during her first few nights in middle earth and without uttering a single word she lowered the nets from the trees. Dwarves, hobbits, and wizards tumbled free of the nets in a tangle of legs, arms and beards as the nets hit the hard earth with a hard thump.

"Bombur get off me before I blast you off me." Her brother shouted from under a rather large dwarf who she assumed was Bombur.

"Honestly Draco there is no need to be rude." Lila said as she assisted the rather large dwarf of her somewhat flat brother. "You'll have to forgive him he was raised by warg." The rotund dwarf blinked at her and then gave her a timid, shy little smile and nodded before he shuffled off. Lila only had a few seconds to take in her brother's disheveled appearance before she was forced to turn suddenly away from him and turn towards the person that was attempting to sneak up on her.

"You've gotten shorter." Were the only words Blaise spoke before he unceremoniously plucked her up off her feet and curled his arms around her in one of the tightest hugs she had ever had. They were soon joined by Draco and after a moment Lila buried her face in her brother's neck and let the tears fall; without hesitation or any thought towards how she would be seen by the other men that surrounded them. In the two months that had passed since their arrival Lila had all but given up hope that she would ever see her two brothers again, though such feelings of despair had only come after she had spent well over a month searching for them; and it had not been an easy-going month either. Middle earth had monsters unlike anything she had ever faced before, and not all of them had bad teeth and smelled of rotting flesh. Some were clothed as the muggles of their world and at first glance appeared completely innocent, at least until it was discovered that she was a witch. It was after she had felt the warmth from the torches the villagers carried (and one or two other reasons) that Lila stopped carrying her wand in public and began using wand less magic, a feat that seemed a great deal easier in this world than in her own.

"Contrary to popular believe I do still need to breathe you two." She eventually huffed out when the tears had passed, and she was once again in control of her emotions and in need of air. They both chuckled and after a few moments let go of her, though neither of them moved back very far.

Draco frowned and held up his hand. "Blaise is right," he touched the top of her head and moved it towards his body to see where she stood in comparison to him. "you have gotten shorter."

Lila stared at the both of them like they'd lost their minds. "We're transported to another time and place and haven't seen each other for two months and all you two can comment on is the fact that I am a little shorter?!"

"It's not just a little shorter Lila you're barely taller than the dwarves." Blaise said with a slight frown of his own as he did the same thing Draco had done. "There is no way you could have not noticed."

Lila pinched the bridge of her nose and took several deep even breaths. Of course, she had noticed, it was hard not to notice whenever she was speaking to someone and had to crane her neck up to look at them, but it wasn't really the most important thing at the moment—and it wasn't the most drastic thing that had changed for that matter.

"The both of you are mental sometimes I swear." She finally muttered in a huff before turning her attention towards the new shadow that fell across her face. The first thing Lila noticed as she took in the older man standing before her was how similar the older man was to professor Dumbledore. And she did not mean their visage; their appearances couldn't be any more different. Dumbledore face was round with a softness that often reminded many of a batty old grandfather, whereas the man standing before her had a slimmer face and angular features that did not put him anywhere near the batty old grandfather category. No, what she referred to were the similarities in the way they carried themselves, the wisdom in their twinkling blue eyes, and the powerful aura that made the very air around them charged with energy.

"It is a great pleasure and a great honour to finally meet one of the Istari" Lila fought the urge to shift as the smile that spread across the older man's face intensified the twinkle even more. It was the same look that Dumbledore often gave her when she was a student and the old man knew that she was hiding something or up to something.

"What is an Istari?" She heard Draco whisper to Blaise.

"It is a pleasure to finally meet you Lila my dear we have heard a great deal about you." The older man said with a pleasant smile, ignoring Draco's question. "Gandalf Grey at your service my lady."

Lila flicked a brief glance in the direction of her brothers before returning her attention back to her brothers. "Nothing too horrible I hope?"

The wizard chuckled and shook his head. "No, nothing too horrible, but they did certainly talk about you and your accomplishment's during your war—Though they made no mention of your skills with a blade my dear."

His smile only twinkled more as she cleared her throat. "Yes, well, one learns quickly how to survive in middle earth when they're on their own."

"I hate to interrupt but I can't seem to undo your spell Lila." Hermione called out from where she stood, her arms crossed and a rather perturbed look on her face.

"What are you doing?" She heard Blaise ask as she headed over to where Hermione stood.

"Looking for flying cows–or whatever it is muggles say- cause clearly they're flying somewhere if Granger can't undo a spell. " Draco answered in an amused tone as he joined them, though whether his amusement was aimed at Hermione's inability to undo her spell or the dwarf Lila could not say. Something told Lila that it was the latter more so than it was the former and that certainly was interesting.

"What spell did you use?" Hermione asked, paying no attention to Draco's comment about her inability to reverse her spell.

Lila chuckled and shook her head and without uttering a word the dwarf in front of them was once again able to move. "Just a simple Petrificus Totalus." Eyes like dark thunderclouds, Lila watched as the Dwarf's lip curled in a silent snarl and he scowled at her. She was altogether certain that the man would have started in on her had it not been for Gandalf's intervention.

"Lila, allow me to introduce you to the leader of our company, Thorin Oakenshield."
