Four figures stood watching the clock. Breath bated, they watched as the hands marched onwards slowly towards 9:01 am. The tallest, his dark shaggy hair almost hiding his eyes, held his hands out , palm down as the second hands was seconds away. "Wait for it, wait for it ... 9:01. Obi-wan is officially late for the first time ever. Alright, lets do this. Who's got theories?" The one standing on his left, armored in armor with a yellow and white marshall commander theme and his helmet tucked under his arm spoke first. "His alarms didn't go off." Anakin, the one who had spoken first, gave his a look of disbelief. And his voice held apprehension. "All three alarms, all with battery back ups?" He sighed and looked at the others. "Come on, who wants to take this seriously?" The man on Anakin's right bounced on his toes as an thought hit him. "Oh! He was taken in his sleep." Anakin snapped his fingers. "That's what I'm talking about. Super dark, Rex, but way more plausible than Cody's stupid alarm clock theory." Cody, the Marshall commander gave Anakin Skywalker a look. The last, a young togrunta girl, tilted her head and said seriously. "I bet he tucked himself in his bed too tight and got stuck." Anakin just gaped. Cody grinned, as well as Rex. The sound of a rushing person had them turning to face the door. The person in question, Jedi master Obi-wan Kenobi, skidded to a halt. "Sorry, I'm late and Anakin, you don't need to remind me." Cody cleared his throat and Obi-wan turned towards him. "Yes." Cody asked with a straight face, not revealing what had just been going on. "May I ask what happened?" Obi-wan groaned. "My alarms failed and I was tangled in my blankets. Then on my way here, I had to stop and help some younglings." Ahsoka and Cody gave Anakin a triumphant look. Cody smirked and turned away as he spoke. "Told you so."
