So! Future plans! And something from the past.
If you like this kind of psychological stuff and you like Harry Potter, you should check out my other psychological fanfiction about Draco Malfoy called How Did I End Up Here?. It follows the journey of Film!Draco Malfoy focusing mainly on the Half-Blood Prince and both Deathly Hallows films. I will warn you, it's a lot heavier than this one. There's torture, blood, suicidal thoughts, father-son abuse...it's dark. If you can make it through, feel free to read it, but again, I don't want anything to be too heavy for people or hit too close to home, so if you get uncomfortable at any point, you don't have to keep reading.
As for the future, there is one fanfiction that will be posted: Through a Soldier's Eyes. It's going to follow MCU's Bucky Barnes through the end of Captain America: the Winter Soldier through all of Captain America: Civil War. It is pretty difficult to write and no where near ready. Writing it is also breaking my heart. There's a lot of Bucky between the two films. He's got several boatloads of PTSD and other issues, so it's pretty sad. I also think I rushed it a bit because I had to get him from the US to Bucharest in two years and have him live there long enough to establish a life without making it Lord of the Rings books boring. Sebastian Stan said that Bucky's relationship with Steve Rogers was the only thing holding him back from ending it himself, so I had to show that and balance it out with the right amount of hope because he's trying to figure himself out. It was complicated to write. I also play with the tense the same way I played with capitalization when I was writing The Once Scepter. When Loki was under the scepter's influence, I capitalized it (Scepter) to show it's importance to him, but before he was pulled into it and after he broke its spell over him, it was just a regular scepter. I play with the tense in Through a Soldier's Eyes in a similar way. Normally, books and stories are written in past tense like The One Scepter was, but Bucky has no past in the beginning of Through a Soldier's Eyes, and the Winter Soldier has even less of a past. To represent this, I write half of Through a Soldier's Eyes in present tense. When Bucky is the Winter Soldier or thinking about when he was, it's in present tense, and when he is himself, it goes back to being in past tense. I managed to get one person to be a beta reader for this fanfiction, and she said it was a cool idea. I figured that I'd better explain it here if you decide to read it so that no one gets confused. I have already finished this story, so plan on regular updates like this for that one after I initially post it. It might take a bit to put up because I'm in the process of moving out to college.
I also have two other ideas. One of them I have started, though I'm not that far into it. It's a two part crossover between Danny Phantom, Gravity Falls and Over the Garden Wall. I haven't worked out much, but part one would be Danny Phantom/Gravity Falls, and part two would be Danny Phantom/Over the Garden Wall. I'm working on part one right now, though I still don't have a title. Danny and his family are taking a vacation to Gravity falls and the chaos ensues. It's gonna be more storyline oriented than psychological. It's its own story with familiar characters I've always wanted to see together. The other idea is a funny, random thing I made up with my friend while we were goofing around one day. In the story Tony Stark invents a time machine just to see if he could. He goes back in time and meets pre-serum Bucky and Steve, and he takes them back to modern times. Young Bucky and Steve meet older Bucky and Steve and the four of them team up the the Avengers to save the world or some crap. I don't know. This one probably won't be done for a long time, but I think the idea is funny.
Hope it all works out, and thank you guys so much again for your support and reading!
