This chapter is a little shorter than I would have liked but I felt that it was fitting to end it where I did. After all, we do have to check in with Diva Barbie, and see how he's faring. As always comments are appreciated-they help feed my power hungry muse.

Disclaimer: Once again, Harry Potter and his universe were created by the wonderful J.K. Rowling. The Hobbit, and all characters associated with his writing are the work of the brilliant and masterful J.R.R Tolkien.

"Bilbo's in trouble!" Lila lifted her head from the table when Harry burst through the tent flap, the few minutes of light sleep she'd managed while the others had been cooking dinner making her slow to respond to the urgency in his tone (though she also suspected the current occupant in her head was also adding to her confused state). "Something about trolls, the ponies, and some stupid plan of Fíli and Kíli's" She stared at the collection of eyes gazing steadily at her and attempted to blink away the sleep induced fog around her mind. Now, what were they going on about? She absently scratched at her cap as Harry's words replayed in her head, the blinking almost growing comical when she realised what Harry had said.

"Bloody hell." Lila was up and moving and headed for the tent flap, mentally cursing the two brothers in every language she knew, which was rather an impressive amount at the moment.

"How different are the trolls Lila?" Harry asked as he exited the tent right behind her, his wand already clutched tightly in his hand.

"Aside from the fact that they can talk -which I realise is weird- the trolls here are the same as they are in our world: thick headed and toughed skin." She wasn't surprised to see that the dwarves had already gone ahead of them. "I don't know what they're weaknesses are so I'm not sure what to even aim for or what spells to use."

"Lila what are you planning on doing with that thing?" Blaise asked in confusion as she pulled the axe from her extendable bag as they followed the dwarves. "Also, why do you have an axe in your bag?"

"Even better question; where did you even get a bloody axe from?" Ron questioned, the same confusion lacing his tone.

"I have it because I didn't have wizards and dwarves to protect me when we first got here -as I've already mentioned- and I'm going to use it and magic on the trolls." She said as she increased her speed, absently wondering why she felt like she was always playing a round of twenty questions with this lot. Yes, some of her behaviour had been a little off since they had arrived in Middle Earth, and yes she had way more information about this place than she should, but she wasn't exactly the poster child for normal when it came to their own world (she was after all the same person that had punched Dolohov in the nose mid duel) and she really wasn't doing anything that was out of character for her…at least she didn't think so.

"Do you even know how to use it?" Harry asked, easily able to keep up with her considerably shortened stride.

"No Potter, I thought I'd just swing the fuckin' thing around and hope I manage to hit something that isn't a dwarf or one of you." She said as they entered the clearing, the site that greeted her something she had only dreamed of as a child.

"Well, I'd say you'd fit right in with this lot." Ginny muttered, disbelief and amusement colouring her words.

"It's like watching a bunch of headless chickens." She said as they all stood there watching the almost organized chaos the Dwarves were unleashing on the three trolls. "watch out for their hands and the nutters on our side." She added right before she joined the melee, her heart pounding in her ears as adrenalin began to work its way through her system. It had been well over year since she'd been involved in any real battle, but just like riding a broom she easily slipped back into the role of leader and began calling out orders to those in her party.

"Don't aim for the legs," She shouted to the others as the first hit Lila landed with her axe reverberated through the handle and barely managed to slice through the thick flesh, her teeth clicking together with an audible snap. "the skin is too thick." Lila was more than a little surprised when the dwarves actually listened to her advice and began aiming for other various parts on the troll's bodies.

"The spells aren't working Lila." Hermione shouted as she cast a rather nasty looking curse she'd created at one of the troll's heads, a look of slight panic on her face when it didn't react as she had expected it to. "What do we do?"

"Just keep trying spells." She shouted as she ducked between one of the troll's legs and sent the end of her ax into what she hoped was a plum sack. "Leviosa seemed to work last time."

Lila smiled when Ron actually laughed and shouted "Anyone got a club? Oi Harry why don't you try shoving your wand up one of their noses."

"Potter did you actually shove your wand up that troll's nose in first year?" Draco called out as he used one of their god-father's favourite spells on what she thought was the leader. "You do know that's not how you use a wand right?"

"Bugger off Malfoy."

"Is your ax even working Lila?" Ginny shouted as she ran past the red head, using the flat of the blade to knock a few teeth out of one of the troll's mouth. "I mean apart from the dental work you're doing."

"I mean it's working," She said as she swung it like a golf club at yet another set of balls (she hoped). "but more as a beater bat than anything." Harry and Draco laughed as they cast a few nastier spells at the trolls while simultaneously avoiding several of the dwarves.

"Didn't you say you were going to use magic and the axe?" Hermione asked as she darted past her firing off a Bat-Bogey Hexes as well as a Jelly-Brain Jinx.

"Yes, I did." She said as she slid the axe back into her bag and pulled out her wand, realising with an overwhelming amount of frustration that if she didn't use her magic at some point one of them would ask about it later. "But I'm not sure if it will even help given the luck you lot have had." She dodged one of the troll's clubs and wordlessly cast an Aqua Eructo Charm at the larger troll, hoping it would do more damage than the other spells they had used so far.

Lila cried out in surprise as the force from the backfired spell lifted her off the ground and flung her into a large tree trunk, the strength of the blow rendering her unconscious.
