It's been a long day at the office for John. Apparently he was not the only one who had a long day. Just an FYI, that part towards the end about being tired but your mind not turning off, that's how it feels to have ADHD. I struggle with that every single night. In a small way I can sympathize with how a real life Sherlock would feel.
