Hey guys. It's been a while. Anyways here's chapter 14 of What is wrong with the world? I did not expect for this many people to actually like and read it. Anyways here's chapter 14!
Bree's Pov
All of us are still shaken up from what happened. Adam told us what was on his mind and we told him that it would be okay. Chase and I are in our room and we're on the bed. He has his arm around me.
"I forgot about that promise." He laughs sadly. I put my hand on his face. I know he's blaming himself for this.
"Chase. It's not your fault. That was when we were young. We thought we were still related." He nods. He puts his hand on my face and kisses me. I kiss back. Damn I love him so much.
"I know. It's just I wish that I could've prevented it." I went closer to him.
"Hey. Even if Adam did ask me out, I would've said no anyway. I think of him as my brother and I love him no matter what. He will always be family." He smiles and I lay on his chest. No one's talked to Leo after what he did to Krane. It was scary seeing Leo beat up Krane so badly. It's not like i'm afraid of him, I just kind of don't want to be near him. Okay. So maybe I am a little afraid of him. It was just so… unlike him. It was like he was a different person. I know Leo was helping,but seeing his face was scary.
"Chase? Are you afraid of Leo?" He looks at me and then looks confused.
"Why would I?" I tell him how I feel.
"Because the way he beat up Krane. It wasn't like him." Chase soghs.
"Yeah. But Krane caused us so much pain. He toyed with Adam." I nod.
"Leo was looking out for us." He kisses my head and I put my head on his chest.
"I know. It's just-" I felt pain in my stomach. I scream.
"What's wrong?" I breathe heavy and I get off the bed.
"Chase. I think the baby-" I scream again. He's next to me.
"I thought it wasn't coming until next month!" I breathe slowly.
"Well obviously it wants to be out now!" I scream at him. Chase calls everyone in and they help me.
"Come on! Let's get her to the hospital" Chase picks me up bridal style and puts me in the car. On the way, I keep screaming.
"It's okay. We're almost there." Chase holds my hand and I try to relax. I keep screaming. Chase tries to comfort me.
"Speed up!" The car goes faster and before I knew it, we were there.
"Help! My girlfriend is going in labor!" Nurses and doctors came to my side and Chase put me down on the stretcher. He follows me as well as everyone else. They get me in a gown. I'm on the bed and i'm screaming.
"Come on get the doctor!" Chase comes to me and holds my hand. The doctor comes in and helps me.
"Come on! Push!" I scream really loudly and squeeze Chase's hand.
"That's it! One more big push!" I do it and I hear crying. I see the baby.
"It's a girl." I smile. They take the blood off of her and wrap her in a blanket and hand her to me. I hold her in my arms and I smile.
"She's beautiful. Like her mother" I blush when Chase said that.(A/N: Okay I don't know what childbirth is like but that's how I imagine it)
"She has your hazel eyes." I said looking at him. He kisses me and I kiss back.
"What do you want to call her?" I asked. He looks at me and smiles.
"Ruby. Ruby Davenport that looks as beautiful as her mother." I blush and I nod.
"I like that. Ruby it is." I kiss Ruby's head and smiles. She's sleeping soundly. The door opens and I see that my family comes in.
"Hey everyone. Meet Ruby." They all circle around her and they smile.
"She's beautiful." Adam said. I smile and nod. Donald comes and holds her.
"Hi. I'm your grandfather." He then realizes something.
"I'm a grandfather! But i'm so young and handsome!" We all just roll our eyes. Adam holds her next.
"Hey Ruby. How are you?" Adam smiles and sighs. He then hands her back to Chase and smiles.
"Congrats dude." Chase smiles and then pats Adam's shoulder. Leo holds her and he makes funny faces.
"She's sleeping. She can't see you." He did a sheepish smile and then handed her back to me.
"We'll leave you guys alone." I nod and they leave. Chase sits next to me and he kisses my head.
"I can't believe we did it Chase." He holds my hand and kisses it.
"Well. We had each other." I smile and kiss him. Ruby is so beautiful. The doctor said that I can take her home tomorrow. But I need to rest because I had a long day. Chase kisses my head.
"I'll see you tomorrow Bree." I smile and I kiss him back. He then leaves and closes the door. I smile and go to sleep. It was such a good day.
Chase's Pov
I can't believe that Bree actually had the baby. She fits in the family so perfectly. I think we are going to have her stay how she is. We are not going to make her bionic. We will tell Ruby all of that when she's older. Man. I can't believe I am actually a father. I go to my room and I go on my bed and just stare at the ceiling. I smile and I thank God for my beautiful baby daughter. My eyes started to close and I dream beautiful things about Ruby and Bree. They are my girls. My beautiful girls. What would I do without them? I then felt something. Something was injected in me and I suddenly feel weak. What's going on? I open my eyes and I see that it's blurry. I can't see anything. Then I am knocked out. That's the last thing I remember.
Adam's Pov
Wow. I can't believe Bree actually had the baby. I still love her. But she and Chase are happy. I can't believe I actually tried to kill Chase. Leo scared me so much. I've never seen such anger in him before. Honestly, it was like I barely knew who was right in front of me. I was about to go to sleep when I hear a muffled noise coming from Chase's room.
"Chase? Are you okay?" I asked. There was no answer. I knock on the door. Still no answer.
"Come on Chase." I open the door and he's not in there. His room is a mess. His bed looks unmade like he had just laid in it. It looked like he was struggling against something or someone.
"Chase?" I looked around and he is nowhere to be found. I then wake up Donald, Leo, and Tasha.
"Guys wake up! Chase is gone!" They all come out of their rooms and see that he's gone.
"Where is he?!" I look around again. I call Chase's phone and it's on the nightstand.
"This is bad. We're gonna have to tell Bree." They nod. We drive to the hospital and Bree is sleeping while smiling.
"She looks peaceful. Do we really want to tell her?" I ask. They look at each other and sigh.
"Okay Adam you stay here with Bree. Tasha, Leo, and I will find Chase." I nod. They leave. How am I going to explain this to Bree? She's so beautiful. But she's with Chase and I accept it. I just hope I have a chance to tell her about Chase.
Bree's Pov
I wake up and I thought I heard Chase.
"Bree wake up." I wake up and I see Adam I kind of frown but I get up.
"Hey Adam. Where's Chase?" He looked nervous and I sit up.
"He's uh.." I look at him and then he starts crying.
"Adam. What's going on?" He looks up and he wipes his tears away.
"Chase is missing." I realized what he said and then i'm panicking.
"What?" he's pacing around and he is calling Leo.
"Did you find him?" He is starting to get upset.
"What do you mean he's not there? Did you check everywhere?!" What happened? Where is Chase? How is he missing? I just saw him literally yesterday.
"What did he say?" He put his finger up and is listening to him.
"Check again!" He hangs up the phone and he puts his hand over his face.
"What happened?" He looks up at me and sighs.
"Leo checked everywhere in the world. Literally. He checked the house and he's not there." I start crying. He comes next to me and puts his arm around me.
"Don't worry Bree. We will find him." I nod. The doctor comes in with Ruby and she smiles and hands her to me.
"Here you go" I grab her and look at her. She has her eyes open and she is looking at me.
"Hi. I'm your mom" I laugh. Then a frown appears on my face and I look at Adam.
"We need to find Chase" He nods. I try to get out of bed, but he stops me.
"Bree. You're still pretty weak." I look at him and scoff.
"I'm fine. Besides he's my boyfriend and I will find him." I go in the bathroom and I change my clothes. Adam is holding Ruby and he smiles.
"Hey. I'm ready" He nods. He hands me Ruby and I kiss her head. I get my things and go home. I open the door and everyone smiles and hugs me.
"Welcome back Bree!" I smile but then frown. I didn't see my boyfriend. My sexy handsome smart boyfriend. They could see that I changed my mood.
"We are looking everywhere. We won't stop." Leo said. I nodded and I brought Ruby up to our room. It felt wrong going in there without Chase. I put her in the crib and she is asleep. I then sit on the bed and I start sobbing. Why did this happen? What happened to my Chasey?
Chase's Pov
I wake up and my head is pounding. I groan and try to open my eyes. It's blurry and I can't really see anything. I try to get up but I noticed that my hands are tied and I can't move. What happened? Then I remembered. I was taken from my room. But who took me? Why would they do that? My eyes are still trying to focus but it's still a little blurry.
"Well. Look who's awake." I hear a deep gravelly voice. I'm trying to hear or see who it is, but I can't.
"Where am I? Who are you?!" My vision is finally clear and I can see a guy in a mask and he's right in my face. He laughs very scary.
"I'm the enemy. You defeated me. But i'm back!" I defeated him? Is it Marcus?
"What? How can you be back?" He just laughs and walks away. What is he planning to do to me? I then try to contact Adam and Bree, but my GPS is off and I can't turn it on. I realize that I am in some sort of warehouse and I don't know where in.
"What are you going to do with me?" He then laughs evilly and goes close to me. I lean back and I am terrified.
"I'm going to make you my servant. Since the last one was bad. Maybe you can do it!" I was confused. What is he talking about?
"What are you talking about?! I will never join you! You can't make me do anything!" He then holds up a remote and I know what it is.
"Yes I can. Then I will rule the world!" Who is this guy? I ask him
"Who are you?" He then laughs and he takes off his mask and who I saw shocked me. No it can't be! We defeated him! How can he be back? I couldn't speak. But I managed to say his name with a terrified shock.
"Krane?"
That's it! Thanks for reading guys! This story is ending soon!*instantly sobs* I know. But after this chapter i'm thinking that there is one more and that will be it.
