Yay!

Last Time On, Facing Your Fears Is Never Easy!

"You need to wake up England, I want to know what you think of my new disguise. Plus, your friends are really worried about you, they had Pipsy call me here. Don't you want to see them? And then you or the others can tell the elves what happened so they can get you better that you can go back to sleep, okay?"

Current Chapter!

"You need to wake up England, I want to know what you think of my new disguise. Plus, your friends are really worried about you, they had Pipsy call me here. Don't you want to see them? And then you or the others can tell the elves what happened so they can get you better that you can go back to sleep, okay?"

England groaned and tried to roll over, but 'Ms. Ever' wasn't having any of it. "Don't even think about it mister! You need to explain to the others what happened to you! America, France, and Canada are freaking out, waiting for you to get your sorry ass up. Oh, oops. You haven't told them about me have you? Oh, well, nows probably a better time than most. Now sit up and explain why you thought it would be a good idea to walk from the 7th floor all the way to the hospital wing with a poisoned dagger stuck in your arm!" she said, the last sentence showing just how scared she was for England.

"Fine, fine, I'm up! Will you stop yelling now, my head is killing me." he said, slowly sitting up.

"I hate you," he mumbled quietly.

"No you don't," she said confidently.

"No, you're right, I don't hate. I love you because you're my best friend and you've always been there for me. Usually in the form of bandaging whatever wounds I have and getting me out of whatever mess I've gotten myself into. I never did say thanks for the Hitler thing did I? Thanks for that, and for helping me after the revolution, and my civil war, and my brothers, and Rome, and France, and the Spanish Armada, and whatever else I'm either forgetting or I haven't done yet but probably will sometime in the future. Oh, and the Fire of London! Okay, that's all I can think of right now. Oh, and this , now I'm done." he said, hugging her and smiling sheepishly. "And, just so you know, I pulled the dagger out of my arm before I started walking down here." he said placatingly.

"That's not much better, you know! Besides, you know I would help no matter what you do. Oh yeah, have you ever tried to rob the Royal Mint? Because It's not not as hard as you would think."

"Yes actually, I have tried to rob the royal mint. I was bored because I was out of paperwork to do and I had just had like six mars bars! I don't eat very many sweets and it was either get hyper or drunk so yeah. I got away with about six and a half million pounds. It's currently in several overseas accounts benefiting various charities around the world. I'll have to do something like that again soon, it was really fun!" said England excitedly.

He looked up when Canada cleared his throat. "Oh, I forgot you guys were here. hey hey hey guess what! The doctor put me on morphine because pain potions go through a nations system to quickly, she said it would ease the pain and she was right I can't feel it anymore. But now I feel funny, and I don't know how to describe it! It's like... I'm flying even though I know I'm not, and I don't feel any pain either. It's such a strange feeling, not being in pain, I've never felt it before. Is this what it feels like, to be normal? I'm very confused." he said before turning back to Ever.

"Is this what the humans feel all the time?" he asked

"How should I know, I'm not human." she replied

"Yeah, but you spend more time with them than me." he said.

"That's not true! You see your boss every other day to see if there's any paperwork your brothers didn't feel like doing, and you need to make sure it gets done so you just end up doing it." she said.

"Yeah, that's how it works. They won't do it and it needs to get done and it's much faster to just do it myself than to bother them with it." he replied.

"And how would you know that?" she asked

"Because I've been living with them for nearly a millennium and I have seen what lengths they will go to to avoid actually having to do the paperwork" he said.

"It can't be worse than the lengths Francine or Kumarie would go to to protect Madeline." she retorted.

England looked thoughtful for a moment, "Yeah, you're probably right about that one, but they will definitely go further than anyone else simply to avoid paperwork" he replied.

"Of course I'm right! I'm always right, haven't you learned that by now?" she teased.

"Oh yeah, they why did you think that Madeline was stuck in a tree when she was taking a nap with Kumarie under the exact same tree." he retorted

"Hey, Madeline and Amelia looked almost identical! It was an easy mistake!" she said.

"They did not! Madeline had long curly golden-blonde hair and lavender-ish purple eyes, while Amelia had long straight dirty-blonde hair and bright blue eyes! Why do you still think they looked so alike, they were sisters not twins!" he said in retort.

"Oh come on, they weren't that far apart." she said.

"Yes, they were! Madeline was almost fifty years older than Amelia! That would be like saying Germany and Prussia are twins, and we all know that's not true!" he replied, indijinus(sp?).

"Hey! Germany and Prussia look nothing alike, if you didn't know beforehand I doubt you could even tell they were related." she said.

"Oh please, it's easy to see that they're related. They have the same facial structure and they are very alike. It's really very obvious if you think about it." he retorted.

"What?! No it's not! I've heard you say how alike they look, but now that I've seen them in person I just don't see it." she said, not believing him.

"How do you not see it?! It is so obvious! They're features are slightly different but still, it's so obvious. I mean come on Ever, they're so alike it's almost scary. They're both hard working, over-protective, and hell-bent on making a comeback. I know a lot of people don't see Prussia as a hard worker but really, if he wasn't he wouldn't even be alive right now, let alone still representing part of Europe. Besides, how would he have survived during the Roman Empire, if he wasn't over-protective and hardworking. He was very dedicated to his brother during both world wars, and he was extremely loyal to all of his bosses though I think he was the most loyal to Frederick the 2nd also known as Frederick the Great . Plus, the country of Prussia wasn't officially dissolved until 1947, not to mention the fact that most Prussian virtues widely influenced many aspects of modern German culture. I actually looked up some of the more well known values and I was very impressed with two in particular. One was 'Mehr sein als scheinen!' which means 'Be better than you appear to be!' and the other was 'Tapferkeit ohne Wehleidigkeit.' which means 'Learn to suffer without complaining about it.' Wow, I just went on a really long tangent that had basically nothing to do with what we were talking about. I really need to stop doing that." he said, trailing off. Ever and the other nations blinked several times, not quite sure how to respond to that.

Prussia blinked, slightly confused before asking, "You actually looked those up?"

England jumped in surprise before saying "Shit! I keep forgetting you people are still here! With that said, is there any particular reason you're all still here? Most people would have left by now."

"They are worried about you, stupid!" Ever said, exasperated.

"What? Why?" England asked, confused.

Ever sighed, not really sure how to answer that.

"I have a question, Iggy! Why do you think we wouldn't be worried about you? You're pretty cool for an old man." said Alfred, inconsiderate as always.

Arthur flinched slightly at the nickname but otherwise there was no sign that he had heard the obnoxious american.

"Hey, could you guys leave for a bit, I need to talk to Britannia, sorry England, about something." asked Ever, though from the look on her face it was obvious it wasn't really a question.

"Sure," said Canada, before anyone had the chance to protest he started leading them all out of the room.

"Hey, Arthur?" asked Ever.

"Yes," replied Arthur, sounding sad.

"Why don't you let America call you Iggy?" she asked

"You know very well why I don't want him to call me that." he said, sounding even more sad than before.

"It's not your fault, you know," said Ever, trying to get him to look at her.

Arthur just turned away, not believing her.

Sorry, I know it's not as long as I'd like but I wanted to get this posted before school tomorrow. Please review and tell me what you think.
