It was the next morning, and the Mishima's and Kazama's current residence was as loud as ever. Ling Xiaoyu, just as persistent as ever to keep Jin by her side, had her arms wrapped around the male martial artist's leg, preventing him leaving the villa with Asuka. Frustrated by her behaviour, Jun had gathered the rest of the family, and ordered them to remove her. So now they all stood in a row, each of them with their hands hooked around another's waist, tugging each other backwards. Kazuya stood at the front, his hands gripped tightly around the ankles of the tiny Chinese girl, who was suspended in mid-air. Jin had hold of the door handle to prevent him from losing his footing.

"I won't let him go with her!" She growled, her face etched with determination.

"Oh, come on!" Jun sighed with frustration as she stared at her family of misfits failing at removing Xiaoyu from her son's leg. "She's about three foot tall!"

"You think… you could… give us… a hand?" A red-faced Kazuya grunted, pulling at the girl between every word.

"This is pointless," Jin sighed. "She's never going to let go."

"Yeah, he's right," Asuka agreed, nodding her head. "Darn it. Guess we'll have to stay here."

"You're not getting out of it that easy," Jun said to her deceitful niece, giving her an angry glare.

But she had to admit to herself: the situation looked hopeless. Before Jun found herself with a son with only one leg, she decided to put a stop to this.

As her family propped themselves up against the villa walls to catch their breaths, Jun pondered their next move. Being cooped up in this place all day was doing them no favours. The solution was obvious to her.

"We'll all go out into the city," she smiled, "as a family."

"That's just asking for trouble," Kazuya grinned. "Let's go."

The family stampeded towards the front door, leaving a cloud of dust behind him. Once outside, and exposed to the warm air, Lee collapsed onto his knees.

"My car!" He wailed, his arms outstretched to the empty driveway. "It's still in that field?"

"With the killer sheep," Heihachi echoed through the spacious driveway. "Maybe if you hadn't been passed out all day yesterday, you could've retrieved it."

"Now what do we do?" Asuka said, an impatient tone to her voice.

"There!" Kazuya said simply, his finger pointing to a group of cyclists on the road.

Before Jun could give him a lecture about stealing, he was stopping them in their tracks.

"We're taking your bikes," he said in his most threatening sounding voice.

"Oh… ok," the front most one gulped, before slowly removing himself from the seat. He and the rest of the bikers ran off, their arms flailing in the air comically. A couple of them even jumped into the sea to escape.

"You have to teach me how to scare people like that," Lars said when the rest of the family had ran over.

"No," Kazuya replied simply as he took a seat.

Once everyone had claimed a bike, (some having to share) they set off for the city.

Kazuya was comfortably in the lead for the first mile, until a manic looking Xiaoyu passed him. Kazuya was at first impressed, but that quickly turned to amusement when he spotted Heihachi holding onto the seat for dear life, his old body swinging through the air as his fingers dug into the soft seat.

"Help… me!" He gasped, his lips flapping from the gushing wind.

Lars, who had been peddling as slow as an old woman, spotted his father in danger. Quickly, he heaved himself upwards with the handlebars, until he was standing on the seat. With no consideration, he leapt through the air, his foot landing on Asuka's head.

"Ow!" She cried out.

His arms stretched out like wings to maintain his balance, he once again took off, this time landing on Kuma's head.

"Grarrgh! (ow!)," he roared, as the bike suddenly swerved.

With one final leap, he landed on Xiaoyu's bike, the young martial artist completely oblivious to everything around her. Lars grasped Heihachi's hand, and headed back to his own bike, using Kuma's and Asuka's heads as platforms again.

Lars' actions had been heroic, but also costly, as Kuma's and Panda's bike was about to go straight off a cliff. Kazuya spotted this. Reacting quickly, he executed a jump so incredible, Lars would be proud.

The two bears roared in despair as they went plummeting down into the ravine. Kazuya arms and legs retracted, as he tensed all of his muscles. With a flash of purple light, he transformed into his devil form. He spread his wings and dived headfirst for the bears. The gushing wind made his eyes water, and his lips dry, but having chapped lips would be a small pay if it meant saving Kuma and Panda. And he did just that, his hands grasping both of their paws, just as they were inches away from having very sore bottoms. And being dead.

"You killed my Kuma!" Heihachi's wailed, his tear stained face looked down at Lars, whom he and Xiaoyu were choking to death.

"And my Panda!" Xiaoyu also wailed.

"No, wait," Jun spoke up, her eyes peering down the ravine, "they're alive!"

The sight of a purple devil carrying a grizzly bear and a panda was something she never thought she would see.

The three collapsed in a pile in front of the relieved looking fighters.

"Panda!" Xiaoyu ran happily towards her friend, her arms outstretched for a hug.

"Kuma!" Heihachi mimicked Xiaoyu, but with his eyes blinded by tears, he tripped over Kazuya's exhausted body, and went soaring from the cliff.

Kazuya slowly lifted his head off the ground to see his father go the same way as he beloved pet bear.

"Oh, well," he grunted, "he's survived worse."

"Kazuya!" Jun scolded.

He sighed, before soaring into the ravine again.

"Hey," Xiaoyu spoke up, removing her teary face from Panda's now drenched fur, "if I fell off a cliff, would you jump down to save me, Jin?"

"Why don't you go ahead and find out?" Asuka sniggered.

As everyone expected, she did just that.

Kazuya and a petrified looking Heihachi watched her jump pass them. As if she was jumping into a swimming pool, she curled up into a cannonball, and disappeared from sight.

"What the hell is going on?" Kazuya asked as he plopped his father onto the ground.

"Don't ask," Jun sighed as she rubbed her temples.

After Jin's heroic rescue…

"I have to say," Jun started, a smile on her face, "that was nice to see."

"What? Seeing Xiaoyu plunge to her death?" Lars said.

"I meant," she impatiently replied, "seeing you all help each other out."

The group exchanged awkward glances.

"Of course, all of this could have been avoided if Xiaoyu hadn't been riding so fast…" Lee brought up.

"Well, Heihachi should've been holding onto me!" Xiaoyu spoke up.

"You would've called me a pervert!" Heihachi argued.

"Lars should've let the old man become road kill," Kazuya said. "If he hadn't tried to save him, I wouldn't have had to risk my neck saving the two bears."

"And Heihachi wouldn't have tripped over Kazuya," Xiaoyu added.

"Exactly," Kazuya agreed, "it's all his fault… where the hell is he?"

Every eye in the group fell to the bikes, one of which was missing. They then glanced down the road, only to see Lars peddling slowly towards the city.

"Well, at least he's got the right idea," Jun sighed, as she pulled her bike upright.

"We're still going?" Kazuya said. "We almost all died!"

"You WILL die, if you don't."

Nobody dared argue.

The group started after Lars, the occupants of the city having no idea what was about to hit them.
