Without a care for their wellbeing, the Mishima/Kazama/Ling clan rode right into innocent bystanders. Some of them dived out of the way in time, most got knocked flying. Finally, the bikes all came to a screeching halt, and at once, they found themselves surrounded by an angry mob.
"Run!" Jun cried out.
They pushed their way through the crowd, before dashing down an alleyway. Exhausted, they finally reached the bustling streets of the city.
"We're going to pay for making so many people angry, one of these days," she panted.
Xiaoyu's eyes lit up as she took in all the different flashing colours and sights.
"What should we do first?" She asked, her hands clasped in delight.
"Go home," Heihachi chocked, his face red.
Xiaoyu ignored the old man, her eyes darting about the place. She practically squealed when her vision landed on a Claw Crane machine. She ran across the road, somehow managing to avoid every single car, and rammed face first into the machine. Her face squished up comically against the plastic, as she stared dreamily at all the stuffed animals.
"Ling, you could've been run over!" Jun gasped as the rest of the group joined her.
"Jin, I want that one!" She pushed her finger painfully against the plastic, it pointing towards a stuffed panda.
"But you already have a real-life panda?" Jin uttered in confusion.
"Pleeeeeaaasssseee!"
"And I've never been very good at these things…"
"PLLLEEEAAAASSSEEE!"
"Argh, get out of my way!" Heihachi spat, shoving his son to the side.
To everyone's shock, he put his fist right through the plastic. He retrieved the panda, with his fist, and also the bear, stained in blood.
"Uh, thanks," she murmured, taking it between her forefinger and thumb, her eyes looking the blood drenched toy up and down.
"Raarrgh (I will prove my love to Panda by getting her this toy fish)!"
Everyone glanced over at Kuma, who was at another machine. He clasped the controls in his claws, and began to manipulate the machine's claw towards the fish.
Panda rolled her eyes in response.
"Well, while you're busy with that, I'm gonna go to the arcade!" Asuka spoke up, before disappearing from sight.
"Pfft, video games," Kazuya snorted, clearly uninterested.
"Aw, come on," Xiaoyu said, as she began to shove Kazuya inside. "I thought you liked violence?"
"I like real violence, not fake violence," Kazuya grunted, clearly irritated that the young Chinese girl was forcefully pushing him inside. "The sound of bones crunching could never be truly replicated in a gam…"
He paused when his eyes fell on the most awesome thing he had ever seen. Two pixelated martial artists, one donned in a white gi, the other in red, beating the tar out of each other. Fireballs burst from their hands, fists flew through the air, and the glorious sounds of fists connecting with flesh was like music to Kazuya's ears. It was the brand new popular video game: Fighter Street!
Asuka was already sat at the opposite machine. She poked her head around, a menacing grin on her face.
"Bring it on!"
Kazuya wasted no time in taking a seat. His eyes scanned the character select screen.
"Look at this guy's hair!" He scoffed, his finger pointing towards the character with towering blonde hair. "Kind of reminds me of someone…"
"Embarrassing," Heihachi looked at his son with a combination of disgust and amusement. "I've no interest in games."
"I have an idea," Lee spoke up. "It just so happens I have a beautiful singing voice…"
"Karaoke?" Heihachi said, his eyebrows raised in interest. He would never admit it, but Heihachi Mishima was a big fan of the old karaoke.
So, the rest of the gang set off for the nearest karaoke bar. Once there, Xiaoyu convinced Lee that she should go first, because she wouldn't be able to live up to his incredible voice. Swelling with pride, Lee agreed.
To everyone's surprise, Heihachi was actually the first to grab the microphone. So, Xiaoyu convinced him to do a duet.
"I have the perfect song in mind!"
The two stood with microphones in hand, looking like the most mismatched duet ever. Jun, Lee, Jin, Panda, and Lars waited in anticipation, getting ready to cringe. Finally, the lyrics began to flash on the screen.
With a deep breath, Heihachi began to sing.
"I'm here now. I'm doing the best I can," the old man's operatic voice resonated through the bar.
"He has the voice of an angel…" a random woman sighed.
"Where are you now?" He continued. "Did your dreams come true? Here we go…"
"GET OUT! GET OUT!"
Everyone went from looking dreamily at Heihachi, to looking horrified at Xiaoyu. Her voice was like a screeching hyena getting sat on by Ganryu.
"SPARKING! GET OUT! SPARKING!"
"What does the word "peace" mean? There should only be a smiling face?" Heihachi reluctantly continued, as he cowered by the side of the possessed looking girl. "Answer me, reticent God. But the sun rises again. When will that time return? Swear you won't give up…"
"BREAK DOWN! EVERYTHING DAY BY DAY!"
She continued her 'singing', while clasping handfuls of Heihachi's shirt. She pulled his face towards hers, and continued screaming in his face.
"FREAK OUT! ANYTHING STEP BY STEP! LIVE THE SIN AND LET ME KNOW, LIVE THE SIN. BREAK DOWN! MAKE MY STORY. BREAK DOWN! THEY CALLED HISTORY. MY HEARTBEAT GONNA BE FASTER. SHOUT! SHOUT! SHOUT! SHOUT! SHOUT!"
Heihachi's lyrics were now barely audible, as he whimpered beside her. His face covered in spit and his ears ringing, he felt like he had been violated.
Jun, Lee, Jin, Panda, and Lars were now slowly trying to creep away, their eyes wide with shock.
"SPARKING! SPARKING!"
Xiaoyu took it up a notch, kicking over the karaoke machine, and tossing an adjacent chair to the side.
"She's gone mad!" Lee squealed. "Run away!"
The karaoke bar's occupents dashed into the streets as the muted words of 'SPARKING' continued from within.
At the arcade…
"This is so stupid! Why can he stretch like that?" Kazuya screamed angrily at the screen. "I can't get in! I'm a fat sumo guy!"
Asuka was in a fit of giggles as she recorded her tenth straight win.
"It's so unrealistic! Why can a fat guy fly across the screen with a headbutt? Why are they shooting fireballs out of their hands?"
"Oh, yeah!" Asuka spluttered. "'Cause shooting lasers out of your eyes is soooo much more realistic!"
Kazuya responded by planting his fist through the screen.
"Hey, you're gonna have to pay for that!" Said the arcade attendant from across the room.
Kazuya responded with more violence, as he delivered his very own sumo head-butt, his cranium connecting with the innocent guy's stomach.
"See? It's not that unrealistic," Asuka said, attempting to hold back the laughter.
"Let's go," he replied through gritted teeth.
The two of them exited the arcade, but immediately came to a halt at the sight to their right. Kuma had somehow gotten himself stuck in the crane machine.
"What the hell?" Kazuya said. "How did you get stuck in there? It doesn't even make logical sense."
"Mommy, I want that one!" Said a random boy, his finger pointing at the bear.
"Oh my God!"
She immediately grabbed the child's hand, and fled at the sight. In the opposite direction, the rest of the party came running.
"There you are," Kazuya sighed, his brow furrowing. They all looked absolutely terrified.
"Let's go back to the villa," Jun uttered, her hair a mess.
"What the hell is Kuma doing in there?" Heihachi croaked.
"Rooarrgghh (I fell)!" He replied, his voice drowned out by the plastic prison.
"That doesn't even make logical sense," Heihachi responded, while smashing his fist through his second piece of plastic today.
Everyone, bar Kazuya, Asuka, and Kuma, jumped when Xiaoyu appeared at their side.
"Hey, why'd you guys leave?" She pouted.
"L-Ling?" Jin stammered, his finger cautiously prodding her. "Are you feeling better?"
"Huh? I'm fine," Xiaoyu looked at them with confusion.
"What's the problem?" Kazuya, who looked just as confused as Xiaoyu, asked.
"I think we witnessed her 'devil form' today," Heihachi wept.
Kazuya's look of confusion did not disappear.
The group returned to their bikes, the angry mob having left.
"Race you back!" Asuka said, as she took off without them.
"She seems in better spirits," Jun observed, as she took a seat.
"I believe your holiday idea is working out quite well," Lee said with a wink.
Jun couldn't help but agree as they set off back to the villa.
