"Meg, let this go. NOW."

The woman ignored her and grabbed Hans' collar, pulling him close. Face to face. What could Elsa do? She was supposed to stop this… yet, Meg already had her pistol pressed under Hans' chin. From the other end, Elsa was holding onto Meg's wrist tightly, watching in heartbreak and fear.

Him, though…? He wasn't the confident, nasty man he was just moments before. He was a coward. Hans was shaking like never before, and really… this was the first time she'd seen him scared.

"I'll tell you what… you delete the source. Both of them. Or else next time… I won't even pretend to fucking miss."

Hans choked, grabbing on Meg's wrist. "Y-You wouldn't."

She growled below her breath, "Dare me… one more fucking time, and I will blow your god damn head off -"

How much time has passed? How long have we been sitting here?

Elsa didn't have the courage to even meet Meg's angry eyes. But they were wasting time, sitting in this cafe, listening to nothing but their own thoughts. When? When had she become so weak that she couldn't take a single glance at Meg? Not even for one second could she look at the brunette. She almost… almost felt like her sister for once. And perhaps, it was the guilt - the shame of not telling Anna about this situation earlier - that kept haunting her. If she had told her earlier… perhaps, she wouldn't have to know how heartbroken and hurt Anna would be. She wouldn't have to see what went down. Elsa… could've been there for her. Could have been her big sister.

"Why… didn't you tell her?"

Elsa looked up. Is that the first thing she has to ask? "And risk her hating both of us?"

She banged her hand on the table, coffee brown eyes glowing with fire. "I would rather her fucking hate on me than for that to come out and ruin us both! Are you fucking…" Meg scoffed, unable to continue with the raging anger she had. The brunette looked away, out to the streets. A deep breath calmed down her rage. "If you weren't there… I would've really blown his head off."

"I would've done the same as well, if I were you."

"But I didn't. I didn't do it because of you. I did it for Anna." She paused, finger tapping on the table. "Do you understand the sacrifice… of everything that I have made to keep her safe? I spent… day and night, always wondering if I had done the right thing. But I did it for her."

Elsa wasn't sure if she should feel thankful or resentful. She couldn't deny the fact that she had done shit all for Anna though. Only… to create more of an emotional mess than she already was. She swallowed, feeling herself getting smaller and smaller the more Meg stared - and God, she wished she could feel her own ego growing again, but… it just wasn't there anymore. She had thrown it away as soon as Anna came to her office.

All she was thinking about was what her little sister was up to. How she was feeling. She didn't dare check her phone to see how many dozens of texts, emails, or calls she was getting.

"Elsa."

She tilted her head up to meet Meg's gaze. She couldn't imagine how Meg would be feeling if she was going to give her that face full of blankness. The brunette shook her head, sighing. "I don't want to know what exactly she might be feeling right now. All I know is that… she needs you. Not me."

"What are you going to do?"

Meg chuckled. "What can I do? I can't be near her. You tell her… I'm sorry. You tell her… I only wanted the best for her. For me, please?" Please. When has she become this polite?

Just looking at Meg, and seeing the full sincerity coming from the deepest bottom of her heart… made Elsa realize that she had to do what she wanted. She was supposed to promise Meg to tell Anna the whole truth, yet… she didn't have the guts to.

She had to change for Anna, and if it meant that she had to do what Meg said… convince Anna that she wasn't the bad guy here, then that was what it had to be.

Elsa nodded in full agreement, but a part of her also knew to be more careful now. Especially now that… Anna would be in a very, very vulnerable position. "I will."

"Good." Meg sighed. "I won't… well, she probably doesn't want to see me for a very long time. And I'll admit… I'm quite scared to see her. What do you think, should I stay away?"

The best I could do for her now is give her some advice. But even Elsa contemplated whether she was really in a good position to give her that. Regardless… "Just stay put. I will take care of her. I will let her know you meant well, and you didn't mean any harm. She'll forgive you."

"I trust you."

That's funny. "Well, you shouldn't trust me so much."

Meg shrugged. "I don't. But who else am I going to trust? You'll keep Anna safe. I know it."

Elsa didn't know. She didn't know what to expect when her door clicked shut, and the silence overtook her. The lights were on, the living room was a mess, her kitchen counter… filled with alcohol bottles and puddles of them mixed together on the surface. She gave it no attention. Even if her home was a mess… she didn't mind. She could clean it at any time.

But she stood there right against the front door, unable to move. Unable to feel.

She was just void of any happiness. But she had courage - well, what was left of it anyway.

Staying silent, Elsa strode towards the couch where she knew Anna was - slouched, sitting there with tables full of alcohol bottles - drinking her own misery away. She wasn't surprised her little sister didn't notice her right away, nor… how she continued to drink when she did notice Elsa, but simply, ignored her.

A defeated sigh sounded, and that… just broke Elsa even more.

Silently, just as Anna was going to pour another shot, Elsa grabbed the bottle and the shot glass. Anna didn't even stop her. Didn't even look at her.

Elsa poured herself a glass and downed the shot. Another one. And another. Until it caught Anna's attention.

She could see it… all the misery in Anna's blank face, cheeks tattooed with stained tears. How could this be so disgusting? She placed her hand on Anna's back, rubbing her. "If you wanted to drink… I'll let you drink. But let me be there for you." Her words and voice were tender, and perhaps… that just wasn't what Anna needed.

Anna only looked away. When Elsa expected her to weep… she didn't. Only a small chuckle erupted. Anna shook her head. "Where were you?"

"Anna -"

"Where were you when I needed you the most?"

An apologetic silence answered back.

"It's not fair…" She smiled, a hint of bitterness and weakness showing .. And when she faced Elsa, almost every crude thought that seemed to have crossed Anna's mind was aimed towards her. "It's not fair," her voice cracked, "that I… I had to be a burden. It's not fair that you kept everything a secret from me."

Elsa clenched her jaw. Don't cry. "You're not a burden, Anna. I wanted to protect you -"

"Protect me?!" She scoffed. "What protection…? I… I'm out there now. Because of her. Because of him."

"No…" Elsa shook her head. "No, no, no… please, Anna… you can't blame her."

"You already knew I would. You two are such… assholes." The tears crawling down her cheeks made Elsa completely speechless. There was… absolutely no warmth in her words. But what more did Elsa expect than to find a broken girl sitting on her couch… trying to forget all the things that she had done with alcohol? Elsa couldn't forgive herself. She could say something - anything - yet, she couldn't budge. That courage she was thinking about before? All gone. The love… she wanted with Anna when they were together in the office? None of that mattered.

"How could you?" Anna whispered.

Elsa didn't understand. "What?"

"How could you have thought that… lying to me, keeping this away from me… would be your way of being a perfect sister?" Anna squinted. "Who are you?"

That… shouldn't have hurt more than it should've. Elsa couldn't breathe at all. Widened blue eyes begged for Anna's forgiveness but… she was just ruthless. "I… I always wanted what's best for you, Anna. We both did."

"Bullshit. You both only wanted to save face for yourselves."

If there was a hint of lie embedded in those words, Elsa would've retorted. But there wasn't a lie because it was true. They all had a reputation to keep, and that was now… gone. She let out a single breath. She realized how deep in misery Anna was… so when she noticed a slight sob from her little sister, she immediately went to wrap her arms around Anna. To soothe her. The redhead curled into a ball, sobbing in her knees… and all Elsa could do was just the simplest thing, the littlest thing to make her feel better. She didn't care about her own pride - she'd throw it away immediately just for her. Even if Anna hated her for what she couldn't do… Elsa would still love her.

"I'm so tired, Elsa… I'm so tired of everything. I want to -"

"No… Anna, no, don't think that. Please." Elsa shut her eyes, her hands grasping on both of Anna's arms tightly… her head placed comfortably on Anna's shoulder. If she really loved Anna, she would be by her side no matter what. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry, Anna… You are beautiful. You are strong. Everything's over now. I'm here."

Even then, she knew Anna was not going to stop crying. And… Elsa was not going to say anything other than sweet soft nothings whispered into Anna's ears. Her little sister needed to be reassured, after all that had happened.

Feeling Anna lean against her like a child… made the blonde feel needed - that… she was the only person Anna could really rely on.

For a while, the weeping had stopped, and only sniffling and hiccups filled the air.

"Elsa…" Anna whispered.

"Hm?" She felt her sister's hand crawling up to hold her wrist. Elsa didn't hesitate to place a hand over hers.

"After everything… after that video coming out… after what I just called you, how could you still hug me like this?"

At least, Elsa expected that question. She smiled, leaning in to kiss her head. "You are upset. I don't blame you. We are in this together, beautiful. What else am I supposed to do?"

"But I… I fucked -"

"It's okay." Elsa didn't want to hear it, knowing exactly what she was going to say. "You were… heartbroken. You needed someone to love you. She was there for you - and I don't want you to blame her for what happened. Meg trusted him too… Anna -" She pulled her sister up to sit next to her, staring into her eyes. She was determined to make sure Anna… hated nobody but him. "It wasn't her fault. She wanted to protect you… and if it meant, that… she had to do whatever he said, then so be it."

"Would you have?"

"Would I have…"

"Would you have done the same thing as her? Would you have made the same sacrifice for me?"

She turned away, breathing out. "Honestly… yes."

And knowing that… she realized Anna was quite speechless too. "Elsa… this past year…" Anna gazed straight at her, but like always… Elsa didn't have the guts to even take a single look at her. "I've… I've had sex with Meg to numb everything that I have felt. Everything, including you. Did you know?"

"I know, Anna. I know. But I -"

"Elsa, just look at me. Only at me."

For a moment… just a single moment, as Elsa continued to avoid her eyes, she could feel her hair stand on end. She knew… what she had said. And she knew Anna knew as well. And when she badly wanted to let go of Anna, she didn't. Her skin was so warm… so soft… and the way Anna was looking at her - filled with desperation and adoration… an adoration that Elsa didn't even deserve.

"Elsa…" Anna was straddling her lap, arms loosely laid on her shoulders, fingers laced together. She hadn't even noticed. But… she was breathless, heart… almost stilled at the gorgeous sight of those teal eyes looking down on her. Her throat felt dry, words inescapable… but she didn't need words to describe what she was seeing.

It felt… wrong. It was wrong. To have your sister on your lap… to have those eyes looking at you with desire? It was wrong. But how could Elsa deny how beautiful she looked?

But she didn't touch her… arms laid to her side, head tilted up as Anna placed a hand on her chin.

"You… would do the same thing as her?" Anna whispered.

"Anna…" A finger was placed on her lips.

"Just once… please." The woman straightened her back and took her shirt off. Elsa… could only adore it, as much as she was disgusted by how she was reacting - by how her eyes wandered and dilated at the sight of sun-kissed skin dotted with perfect freckles all over her shoulders and neck. Desperate… she's so desperate for this… but I don't mind.

With a whispering breath out… Elsa's blue eyes gazed down at that perfect… arched stomach, her fingers - tingling for a touch that she longed to feel for so long - tapped on the middle of her black bra only to slowly trail down the middle. And looking back up, Elsa could see the satisfaction in her expression - the way Anna rolled her head, eyes closed… mouth slightly gaped open. Oh God, she just wanted to kiss her.

"Do you want this…?" the blonde asked, feeling fingers letting her hair fall loose from its braid. She didn't need an answer when Anna just gave her such a sultry grin.

"What do you think?" She grabbed Elsa's wrist, forcing her palm right against her stomach. "Would I have done this to my sister if I didn't want this…?"

"Anna -" Elsa was completely cut off from everything when she felt warm, soft lips pressed against her own, a hand holding her jaw tightly. Her blue eyes widened, and her whole body just froze at the intimate touch of her sister… of her breath, of the way Anna caressed her. She hadn't felt this in such a long time - this single rush that had Elsa's heart pumping. Move… why can't you move?

She wanted this, even if her head said no. She couldn't control it - the way her heart screamed for Anna's touch, for her intense warmth… for her to please Anna the way they used to her. And for the first time, like she always yearned to, she relaxed into this kiss, eyes fluttering close…

Give her this. Give her just this, at least.

But she knew they didn't want just this. Anna… wanted more.

And just when she wanted to hold Anna, fingers tingling to grasp her bare waist, her sister pulled away. The emptiness she felt on her lips was replaced with such loving… such wanting eyes from Anna. And she met them, dazed, like she had never experienced this before. Damn it.

"Forget everything, Elsa…" Gentle hands start unbuttoning her shirt. Yes… she was willing to forget it all… forget they were ever sisters. Forget all the fights they had. Forget the avoidance. She wanted a body to hold for the night.

Anna chewed on her lips - oh, those luscious lips - leaning in again, and all the blonde could taste and smell was the subtlety of alcohol. There was no helping the chills that ran down her spine, how hot and flushed her body was, how much she yearned to kiss to lips again. Those freckled hands… were so warm - too warm… boldly placing them above Elsa's heaving chest, breathing in and out nothing but the same desire Anna had for her. "I want you."

And with a single, slow breath out… Elsa leaned in on her own, lips hungrily placed on Anna's. She didn't know how… didn't know when, but she had grasped Anna's ass, gotten up… and the small gentle hums and whimpers coming out of the redhead's mouth filled Elsa with a hungry thirst.

Everything had gone by so fast. Words disguised gasps and moans filled the night air, and all Elsa could feel was her wonderfully soft quilt… and her sister's hands roaming under her shirt, nails running red streaks on her back. Oh, those kisses… she didn't ever want to stop tasting her lips just for a breath.

Reluctantly, she did… only to notice tears trailing down those freckled cheeks. "Anna…"

The redhead shook her head, eyes opening to gaze at her. Oh, it sparkled so lovingly… so beautifully. "I want this… I've always wanted this. I'm just… I'm so happy, Elsa." Their forehead touched, and all Elsa could do was kiss her tears away, fingers… sliding down to grasp her waist.

"Don't worry… I'm here. I'll take care of you."
