Peter's POV

I sighed getting back to the loft. It was quiet and Anna hadn't stopped complaining about the entire idea of sleeping the entire way home. I was getting sick and tired of listening to her say that she doesn't need to sleep. Cara was in the kitchen making lunch for us when we got back. I did plan on kicking her out because if push came to shove and we did have to drug Anna then I didn't want her around.

I walked into there looking at her. "You need to be heading out when you're done there, I don't want anyone here in case we have to get mean and do something to make Anna sleep."

She nodded to me running and grabbing her bag for her schooling and left within a few minutes. Aiden was still trying to get Anna to come up to the loft and at least eat something. I knew the second we had her up here we could handle it, there was a firm lock on the door if we needed it.

A minute later they came through the door. Aiden was carrying her and they were kissing, he brought her into the kitchen sitting her down on a chair. Breaking away from her going to get them some food from the counter where Cara had been making some of it.

"This for us?" he asked looking at me.

I nodded. "Yep." I turned my attention to Anna who was sitting at the table calmly trying to move her shoulder. "Don't do too much with that or it will hurt more. And after this you and Aiden can go to the spare room upstairs and have a nap together. Your school books stay down here."

She glared at me. "I already told you I don't need a nap."

Before I could answer Aiden was to me, placing a hand on my shoulder whispering into my ear. "The one on the farthest left, do what you have to." He turned to her going down onto his knees. "Anna, I'll be there the entire time. If you have a nightmare I will be there to wake you up. You don't have to worry about Danny finding out about this, trust me you'll be fine. Besides I'm sure that Ethan and him will enjoy some time alone tonight anyway."

I turned around going to the one that he had said, digging in my pocket for the sedative that the doctor had given me. She wouldn't like this but it was strong enough to work on her very quickly. After pouring the entire vial of liquid onto the sandwich closing it up again before putting them onto plates and handing them to them.

"Anna, as one of your alphas I do know what's best for you, and that does mean you letting me help you when this happens. I'm sorry but you do need to sleep, even if it's only 3 or 4 nights a week until you get full control of your abilities and can learn to ignore the girls when they bother you." I smiled at her as I put the plate down in front of her.

Aiden smiled taking a bite from his sandwich. "I know I could use a good nap. Come on Anna there's a DVD player in the room and everything we can lay there and watch a movie until we get tired."

Anna shook her head at him. "No you will just try and make me sleep. I'm not tired, Aiden when will you believe me."

I shook my head. "Anna, I'm going to give you three options right now and no matter what you choose it's fine with me. One, you can talk to me about what happened this morning and why you were acting differently after the punishment that you had this morning. Two, you can go with Aiden up to the room and attempt to sleep with him and if you want to watch a movie during that you can. Or three, we strap you down and drug you forcing you to go to sleep. As I said the decision is yours to make, I have the necessary stuff to drug you if I need to, that is what Dean gave me when we were at the vet's office. So I can do that extremely easily."

Her mouth opened letting out a hiss. "You wouldn't dare do that!" Her eyes had changed to a beautiful orange but Aiden was right it was a bit scary seeing that happen right in front of me. "I don't need any sleep."

I laughed for a second. "Actually out of everyone here you need the most sleep. Jaguars sleep 14-18 hours per day. But I am satisfied with you getting 8." I pulled an injection out of my pocket showing it to her. "Anna it's right here. I don't want to have to do that to you but Aiden will help me."

Her eyes soften and turn to him, he nodded to her. "Anna, sleep will help you deal with things. Will you at least try and take a nap with me? We have to be done by the end of school anyway so we can go hang with our two brothers."

She shook her head at him. "I don't want to sleep. You guys don't know what happens when I do try and sleep. And you don't want to know, it's scary." She looks up at Aiden silently. "PLEASE DON'T MAKE ME GO FOR A NAP!"

He shook her head at her. "Anna, please don't make me help Peter strap you down and drug you. Just come up with me and try to sleep, just try. Then I will make Ethan let you pick the movie we watch tonight." He looked down at the sandwich that she had barely touched. "Come on, Anna if you want to stay up then maybe you should at least eat something?"

She nodded starting to eat it. "This is good. Danny usually makes us lunch but this actually has meat on it." She started closing and opening her eyes every so often, just looking at Aiden.

After a few minutes she was yawning. Aiden smiled over at her. "See you are tired just let your body sleep, Anna. Did you want to turn, I know that sometimes helps me try and sleep when I need to."

She nodded finishing her sandwich. Letting her head fall onto her arm on the table, closing her eyes. "Why am I so sleepy?" her voice was weak as she spoke this question to everyone.

Aiden turned to me looking at me in the eyes. He then pointed to the sandwich and her. "I think you should tell her."

I shook my head. "She will be pissed at me if she knew that. Just take her up to the room and take a nap. Ethan said you needed one, as you were cranky this morning with him."

He laughed. "I'm always cranky in the mornings." He gently picked up Anna as to not wake her up from her sleep.

Aiden's POV

~Rewind and Go back~

It had been a really annoying ride back to the loft. Anna just kept saying the same thing that she didn't need to sleep at all. I had tried to ignore her until we got back to the loft so that I could maybe convince her using other methods that I'm sure she didn't want Peter to know about or see. When we got back to the loft I turned to Peter pointed to myself then to Anna then up to the loft. He just nodded getting out of the car going upstairs into the loft so that me and Anna could talk about what was really going on and hopefully she would tell me what to expect when she did finally get around to sleeping. I turned around in my seat just looking at her. "Okay, Anna enough complaining. Talk to me, please, what's wrong?"

She just shook her head. "I want to go back to school. I was fine, well Alison was annoying me but other than that I was okay. Why can't we just go back to school, Aiden?"

I shook my head back at her. "NO you need your sleep and if you refuse some bad stuff will happen. Haven't you noticed that day after you slept when you were at Ethan's and my place that you had so much more control the next day. You're scared to sleep with Danny at home I do get that, but then why refuse to sleep here, right now where no one can really hear you. Well we can but that is beyond the story, why not sleep right now when we get up to the loft?"

She just shook her head, closing her eyes, letting her hands go into a fist as they changed digging into the palm of her hand. I grabbed her hands holding them so that she knew I was there. I could see her eyes moving under her lids, and it pained me to think that she was having a nightmare right now, in the car. A silent nightmare that was going on in her head, when her eyes opened 3 minutes later they were back to their normal brown colour that they usually were.

I met her brown eyes with my glowing blue ones. "Okay, Anna what was that? It felt like you were fighting something off during a full moon but something that you can't reach or do anything about."

She just shook her head. Leaning in giving me a kiss. "Thanks." Then she leaned back into her seat just looking down at her hands as she pulled them out of my grip.

I shook my head she wasn't avoiding this. "NO, Anna you want to not sleep and then you just let me feel that. NO you are going to open up about this. At least to me, I won't tell anyone else if you don't want them to know."

After a small huff escaped her mouth she smiled. "Look, that wasn't a nightmare it was a flashback to when I was turned. They happen ever so often. I wish that was a nightmare that I get, then I wouldn't be afraid to go to sleep."

I nodded. "Okay so what happened this morning? Why didn't you calm down after your punishment from the alphas?"

She laughed for a brief second. "You expected me to calm down knowing that there is going to be more. Aiden he plans to do that to me every day until Danny is healed and he means healed to your brother's definition. Why would that make me happy? And to add to that the rest of the punishment, I don't like any part of it."

I blushed for a second, what I was planning on saying next would hopefully help her through this. "Well I'll be joining you on Saturday when you go see Scott's mom. Let's just say that Scott caught me doing something and that is the punishment that I am getting. And by that I do mean the other 2 parts, so we can talk through that!"

She looked at me. "So you expected me to calm down after they punished me?"

I nodded. "Ya I mean I normally do calm down when it is finished. You've acted so much like me that is why Scott skipped right to that one first when it came to punishing you today." I sighed leaning over picking her up. "Come on lets go up to the loft. For one I am starving and I'm sure that Cara made us food."

She nodded wrapping her arms around my neck and hooking her ankles. Using a kiss to keep us together for the entire walk from the car up to the loft. I do have to admit that I was really glad to see that Cara had managed to leave the door open for us so that I didn't have to struggle with it. When we got into the loft I put her down on chair going over to food. I opened one of the sandwiches adding more meat onto it. I could hear Anna and Peter arguing about the idea of her sleeping again. So I turned pointing out the sandwich to Peter so he could add some of the sleeping drugs onto it.

After a bit she did get tired completely falling asleep on the table with her head on her arm in such a way that I really didn't want to move her. I took a picture sending it to Ethan and Scott knowing that Ethan would calm down when he saw that she was sleep and Scott would be happy that we finally got her to sleep. I attached the message that I was turning off my phone and going for a nap myself.

I carried her upstairs to the spare room laying her down on the bed. I did contemplate pulling her sweater off and that but decided against it. She had opened up to me a bit about what had happened. But I did wonder why hadn't she wanted to open up to Peter about this morning. That was one thing that really didn't make any sense to me. I shrugged it off though laying down on the bed beside her hugging her to me, figuring that this was the closest I was going to get to having her sleep with me until she fully did trust me and that would come I hoped.

Shutting my eyes I looked at the clock on my phone before turning it off. It read 10:30am I lay it down knowing that if Ethan did text back that it would vibrate whether it was on or off, but hopefully he wouldn't I really didn't want to chance it waking Anna.

Ethan's POV

I got back into the school and went back to class. Danny was busy taking notes and I knew that he would be worried about his sister although they had been through a lot lately he still worried about her almost non-stop it was kind of annoying, but ultimately kind of sweet on a different note. I walked in going back to my seat. Danny turned looking at me passing me a note.

Is she okay?

I nodded to him, before writing back.

Ya she's fine, just had to take her outside. Aiden is taking her to the loft to sleep, she seemed tired.

He opened his eyes quickly. What do you mean?

I shook my head not wanting to get into it with him. "Never mind, she has gone to the loft to sleep. Just leave the matter alone." I hoped he would drop it.

He smiled at me nodding. "Okay. Our plan for tonight is still on?"

I nodded. "Should be still on. Depending on if they manage to get up in time but Peter knows about it so he should make sure they are up in time don't worry about that too much please."

The teacher walked up to our desk. "Boys, do you have something that you want to share with the class today?"

We both shook our heads. "Nope. I'm fine."

"Then cease and desist this chatter." She walked away after that.

I nodded looking down at my book that I hadn't managed to even open yet before I had left the classroom. The second class was done Danny turned to me. "Okay so what gives then why did your brother take my sister to the loft to sleep. She seemed wide awake this morning when she did this to me." He gestured to his arms.

I shrugged. "Look, Danny I can't talk about it really. All I can say is that she isn't holding it together very well right now and sleep should be something that will help things kind of stay even. But we get to spend the night together tonight so don't be complaining about this. I know it's hard to get things done but right now this isn't going right."

He nodded to me. "Fine. I guess that will make up for this. But Ethan, I am worried about her she was really too quiet during history today and then during the rest of everything she really hadn't been saying much. Like this morning it was so weird."

I looked at him grabbing my books I needed for my next class. "What do you mean it was weird this morning?"

"I mean this morning, she normally will talk to me more. Even with everything that has been going on, when she leaves, she always says good-bye to me in some fashion ever since she got home. But today she just left."

I could see he was actually crying about this. It was truly upsetting him. "Look, Danny I don't really know what to say to you about what happened this morning. I know Scott was planning on giving her a spanking for what she had done. But there is more going on with her than even I know. I don't know why she even called Peter in order for him to come to the school and deal with the situation. She is still dealing with things from her past and right now it's just really rough on her."

He nodded to me looking at the ground. "I went looking in her room the other day and I found something you should probably see. Can we take off right now?"

I looked at my watch, knowing that if I texted Peter right now he would probably say okay as long as I had a good reason and told him what that was. I nodded. "Ya let's go but I have to tell Peter what is happening. If you're saying that this is something about Anna then we need to know about it."

He nodded to me. "Ya it's about her. I found something in her room that you should see."

I shook my head leading him out to my bike pulling out my phone sending Peter a quick text. "I have to text him before we leave so he can let the school know that I'm leaving so we don't get in shit from Scott."

To Uncle Alpha

Going out with Danny. Says he has something for us about Anna. Ill text later about it. Tell Scott.

I got onto the bike handing a helmet to Danny. "I don't like this you know I don't like it at all, Danny. If you knew something you should have told us before now. When did you find this?"

He shrugged getting onto the bike with me. "I found it just the other day but then when you were saying that she wasn't sleeping it kind of all started to make sense to me why she would have this. Let's just get to the house and I'll explain this."

I nodded racing down the road. I had felt my phone go off in my pocket a few minutes prior to getting to his house but I figured that I would look at when I got there. We landed at the house a few minutes later, I pulled out my phone as Danny got off the bike behind me. One of the messages was from Peter the other was from Derek.

From Derek

Saw you leaving the parking lot with Danny. What's going on, Ethan?

I shrugged. Pressing reply.

To Derek

At Danny's house with him. Don't worry told Peter about it.

I nodded for a second looking at the message from Peter.

From Uncle Alpha

What kind of information does he have? Is it something that explains this not sleeping thing ever? Aiden has her upstairs but we had to drug her. Will give him more for tonight, you might have to help him!

I nodded again reading over the text. I didn't know the kind of information and I didn't know if it had anything to do exactly with her lack of sleeping. But I still decided to text him back.

To Uncle Alpha

Need to look at it first. Will let you know when I do. I will help him with her as long as it's back at our place. I want Danny's TV for tonight!

I nodded getting off the bike going to the door with Danny. "Look if I seem distant right now its nothing okay. Just a ton of stuff is going on and right now your sister is really having a hard time with everything."

He nodded. "It's okay I'm just hoping she didn't lock her door this morning. I found it last night when she was watching TV in the living room. I snuck into her room to see if I could borrow her blow dryer for this morning and I found this." He walked to the door opening in slowly, walking over to her bed pulling back the sheets.

I got down smelling the liquid that was there. "Danny, that's blood."

He nodded. "That isn't all I found." He pulled open a drawer revealing a book. "I read a bit of what she has written in there and trust me it's enough to give me nightmares for like a month. Whatever is going on inside here brain, Ethan it's scary. Like I think she stays up all night writing things. I don't get it, I really don't I know she should be fine or that is what the people at the psych place keep telling me but I know that she isn't fine right now. Then our parents they keep fighting. I can hear them yelling and when they know I can hear them they take it into their room which is right next to Anna's. Ethan, I'm scared about what will happen to her if this can't be solved."

I took the book out of his hands opening it. Reading a bit of the stuff that was in there for a few seconds. I knew I couldn't read it all but I knew that Peter would probably want to see this. And I also know that parents fighting that Aiden could relate to that more than I could because he just tended to get mad when our parents did that. "Danny can you go photocopy some of the last pages from this. I think we should take it to Peter let him take a look at it or maybe even Dean. I'm going to look around here a bit. Then I will leave you here and take this over to Peter."

He nodded taking the book out of the room.

I looked around scanning the room for anything. The blood did concern me a little bit because from my conversations I had with Cara they couldn't bleed any more during that time of the month so why was she bleeding unless she was doing it to herself, which did make some sense.

I looked around the room scanning for things. I didn't want to really talk to Scott about what was happening with her. I started looking around going through drawers until I found a knife that was under her pillow. Although it was surprisingly clean I could still smell the blood on it. She had been cutting up places and using silver to do it. I knew it would hurt. I knew that at least Peter needed to know about this. It would be too hard to keep this from him and I knew I would need a big enough reason for skipping class as it was. Pulling out my phone I quickly send a text to him.

To Uncle Alpha

Found a few things that you might be interested in. WAKE Aiden, he needs to see this too! If we have any chance to get her to open up.

I stood there looking at my phone for a bit longer just trying to figure out what else I could really do. The stuff in the book was bad enough but this was going too far if she was doing this to herself then there was a reason. I mean it would explain why she barely even winced when I scratched her, it seemed to almost be an after thought to react to the cut but it really hadn't even hit me. A few seconds later my phone went off again, I turned my attention to it quickly not wanting to wait on this.

From Uncle Alpha

Cant wake Aiden without waking Anna. Bring it here I want to see what you have found then I may consider showing it to Aiden when he is still in the room with Anna.

I nodded grabbing the knife in my hand just looking at it. Then a thought hit me, Aiden might be able to check to see if he can find anything on her while she is sleeping provided he hasn't let her sleep directly on top of him like he used to do when he was hanging out with Lydia.

I looked down at my phone for a second. Knowing that I had to text Peter back and let him know that I was coming. I looked over at Danny who was standing there handing me the pages. I nodded putting them into my bag. "Okay, I have to take these to Peter and talk to him for a bit. Then I'll be back maybe with your sister and my brother with me when I come."

He just nodded, "Okay be safe. I am going to get some homework done before you get back. I'll copy out the notes for you from class."

I nodded going to my bike. Pulling out my phone to text Peter one last time saying that I was leaving and would be over there soon. I could usually go faster when I didn't have Danny on the bike with me especially now. He tended to worry about me when I did go too fast saying that I would end up getting hurt.

To Uncle Alpha

OMW now. I have a few things from Anna's room you need to see. Wake her if you have to but Aiden needs to see this.

I pressed send putting my phone in the pocket on the bike where I usually kept it when I rode. Starting the engine speeding down the laneway and road towards the loft. Hoping that Peter was able to wake Aiden and get him out of the room without waking Anna up from her sleep.

Peter's POV

After getting the final text message from Ethan I crept back up to the room to see if they had moved at all. I did hope that I could get Aiden out of the bed without having to wake Anna up. She looked so peaceful just laying there it she cuddled to him using his arm as a pillow. Although I was grateful when I got there Aiden was up and in the washroom. He came out and just looked at me ushering me out of the room.

"You needed something Peter?"

I nodded to him. "Your brother is on his way over here with something that Danny showed him about Anna. You apparently need to see it."

He nodded following me downstairs. "She is completely asleep. I had to get up and use the washroom and so I had to move her. But she was so cute where she was sleeping there on my arm."

I smiled at him. "That she was. I got a picture of the two of you sleeping there together on the bed. I was going to send it to Derek and Scott and let them know what had happened."

He smiled. "Well I'm glad she is sleeping at least. But I can hear Ethan. I'm hoping he knows enough to not ride his bike inside."

I nodded again, going to the door to let him in. When Ethan walked into the downstairs of the loft and walked over to the table that was still sitting there from this morning.

He looked at Aiden for a second. "I found something that is more than a little troubling and not something I know what to do." He took out a few papers placing them down on the table. "These were taken from a journal that she was writing in, and Aiden they rival the dreams you use to have."

I took the papers starting to read them quietly to myself scanning over the words before looking over at Aiden. "I don't know what to do about this Aiden, I mean she is fighting some kind of demons. But Ethan this alone isn't enough to cause really big concern I mean we can talk to someone, so is there something bigger things coming from you to even convince me to have woken your brother?"

Ethan nodded. "There was blood on the sheets, and a bloody knife under her pillow." He looked down at the ground as Aiden walked over to the stairs sitting down

I met eyes with Ethan. "You don't think that that should have been something you should have told me alone?"

Ethan looked at me. "You think that you could get her to stop. I think the only one who can do that is Aiden so he has to know what is happening. You didn't seen or feel her when I took her away from him in the hallway earlier today. A part of her was fighting to be back with him. Peter I stand by my choice to have my brother in the room when I told you."

I nodded to him walking over to Aiden. "I know you don't want to know what this is about but it is either you or me who finds out if this is true if she is doing this."

Aiden nodded, standing up looking at me.

AN: I am sorry about it has taken so long about the update. Hopefully the next one will be up sooner. But I want to make sure that each update is a good one and one that I won't have to take down at a later time. So I double think about everything.
