Sam woke up, stumbled out of bed. Knew that extra beer was a mistake he thought as he made his way to the bathroom.
Careful not to wake Dean as he passed his brother, he managed make his way without being attacked by the motel furniture which always seemed to jump out and assault the younger Winchester in the dark.
After he'd finished, he'd opened the door, been about to flick the switch when –
"Sam?"
"Yeah, Dean?"
"C-could you…?"
"Sure."
Not another word needed to be spoken. Sam opened the bathroom door wide, the light spilling into the main room.
