They were driving through the night, barely speaking.
In other words, business as usual anymore.
Dean stopped at an intersection. Sam glanced out his window, straightened up, eyes widening.
She was there again, standing in the pool of light under a street lamp. The brunette in black – a long ebony dress this time, looking right at him.
Sam turned. "Dean, look over-"
He glanced back. She was gone.
"You say something?"
"Nothing. Forget it."
Sam tried to convince himself it couldn't be the same woman as before.
He also tried to tell himself this time she wasn't standing there crying.
