THE NEXT MORNING...

Sakura awoke to the sound of her alarm without opening her eyes she reached out her arm and slammed her hand down on the snooze button. She lay their taking in her surroundings she could have sworn she was back in Konoha. If this was true then why could she smell the distinct oh so sexy smell of Gaara. Rolling onto her side eyes still closed she decided it was some sort of blissful dream. That was until she felt an arm encircle her waist and pull her into a warm body she fit into perfectly and had been in that same spot many times before. Popping her eyes opened and turning her head around to the man behind her she decided to get some answers.

"Gaara, what are you doing here?" she asked his wide awake smiling face.

"Well, you're really cute when you're asleep not to mention less threatening." he chuckled.

Rolling her eyes Sakura responded.

"That's nice but what I should have asked is why are you in Konoha?"

"Oh that, well actually I was ordered to leave my half wit brother in charge and get out of dodge for a month or two." He explained sitting up bringing her with him and pulling her between his legs with her back to him.

"Why did you have to get out of Suna for a couple of months?" she asked as he started kissing down the side of her neck "Not that I'm complaining that your in my bed or anything." she said with a small moan.

"Why of course you aren't," she could feel him smirk as he said this "Some ninja's from a neighboring village are coming and staying in Suna for a couple months to work out a treaty and their village is not a big fan of jinchuuriki, so Kankuro is posing as Kazekage until the deal is done. But I'm not complaining I got to choose which village I'd go to which was an obvious choice and I don't have to do paperwork. All is well with the world." he finished

Sakura turned around in his embrace so she could face him. "Does this mean the almighty lord Kazekage will be a guest in my house for a couple months." she said with a sad smile. They both were happy he was here but they hated that people still held such low thoughts of demon containers.

"Yes it does and since you told me a couple days ago you were going to go see Maiko today I thought I'd go with you. I miss that girl." Gaara said.

"Great idea she'll be so happy to see you." Sakura smiled as she got up and ran around her room getting dressed as Gaara sat on her bed watching her get ready.

Gaara and Sakura walked into the recovery unit of the hospital Sakura worked at. Spotting the girl they were looking for they walked to her bedside. Maiko had been brought in a couple months ago after her parents had been attacked by some rouge ninja and were killed. Maiko who was with them was injured badly but not killed.

Gaara who was headed towards the hospital at the time, to pick up Sakura, sensed the rouge ninjas near by and ran to Maiko's's aid. He killed the ninja and quickly picked up the four year old girl and teleported to the hospital via sand. Sakura was the first to see him and rushed to help the girl. Maiko was fine but needed to stay in the recovery unit where she was visited often by Sakura and Gaara. Let's just say the three got very attached to one other.

"Gaara!" the small girl yelled happily as she saw the red head come into view. Other than some minor cuts that were practically healed by now she was fine so she ran up to Gaara only stopping when she hit his legs which she quickly grabbed onto.

"Hey shorty you miss me?" he asked picking her up and settling her on his hip.

"Yeah!" she said happily throwing her arms around his neck hugging him.

"Don't I get a hello." Sakura asked feigning hurt.

"I see Sakura all the time." she said with an eye roll causing Gaara to laugh.

"Oh well I guess I won't be sneaking you extra candies anymore." Sakura said matter-o-factly.

"Hello Sakura." Maiko giggled then leaned forward in Gaara's hold to plant a kiss on Sakura's cheek.

"That's my girl." The pink haired female smiled. Just then a nurse walked in the room.

"Uh Sakura can I talk to you for a minute?" the nurse asked nervously.

"Sure," Sakura answered then faced Maiko "why don't you show Gaara that book Tsunade brought you the other day."

"Okay." the small girl said as Gaara carried her over to her bed where she pulled a book from under her pillow and showed it to Gaara. As she opened it to the first page they heard Sakura yell from outside the room.

"WHAT...UNBELIEVABLE...FINE... WELL I GUESS I DON'T HAVE A CHOICE NOW DO I...TELL HER SHE SHOULD BUY A CAT!!...GO TO HELL!!"

Sakura stormed back into the room.

"What was that all about?" Gaara asked as he walked towards Sakura leaving Maiko out of earshot.

"Oh well apparently Maiko can't stay in the hospital anymore because she's not injured and they want her to go to a foster home." Sakura huffed

"What that's ridiculous, who's she living with."

"Well it was going to be some old woman who says she lonely and that's why she should be the one to take Maiko. But I told them there was no way she was going to live with some old coot and they should tell the lady to just buy a cat." she continued to fume

"Yeah I heard that part, so I assume you are now going to bring Maiko home to live with you." Gaara stated simply

"That was the plan since I do have an extra room, but the only way they would let me do that was if I adopted her so I have to go see Tsunade about that today." Sakura said

"You do know they're probably only going to let you adopt her if a guy adopts her also, at least that's how I'm forced to do it in Suna." Gaara explained

"Crap." Sakura muttered

"Alright let's have Maiko pack so we can get adopting her over with." Gaara said as he walked towards the little girl.

"Yeah I guess your...Wait your gonna adopt her too." Sakura said surprised. She knew Gaara cared about the girl and didn't want her to grow up alone and scared like he did but she never would have guessed he would adopt Maiko.

"Yeah, she needs a good home which you can give her and she needs both a dad and a mom. So we kill two birds with one stone." he said handing the girls belongings to Sakura as he picked up Maiko and they headed towards Hokage tower. Explaining things to Maiko along the way.

STARTS THAT MORNING AROUND THE TIME SAKURA FINDS GAARA IN HER ROOM.

Hinata awoke, naked, and alone. Sitting up she took in her surroundings. Remembering she had stayed at Sasuke's she smiled recalling the events that led to her being naked. Her smile quickly disappeared as she wondered were the hell Sasuke had gone off to. He always woke up before her but stayed in bed until she woke up also.

Wrapping the sheet around herself she got up and went to the drawer she had some clothes stashed in for the nights she stayed at Sasuke's. Opening the drawer she realized Sasuke had taken out all the decent clothing and only left her bras, panties and some very short shorts and a flimsy tank top. She huffed putting them on until she could find the clothes she had discarded the night before.

As she walked into the kitchen noticing her boyfriend sitting at the table.

"Sasuke Uchiha were's all my decent clothing." She huffed

"What I think you look very decent in those." he smirked as he let his eyes wander her body.

"Well tell that to my father after he has had a heart attack after seeing the Hyuuga heiress dressing like this." she said walking up to his chair and standing over him. Realizing her mistake the young heiress quickly backed away but the avenger was quicker and pulled her into his lap.

"I'll give you the 'presentable' clothes before you leave, but while you're here I'm going to appreciate the view." He said then gently pulled her head down into a kiss.

Hinata had a brilliant come back but was at a loss for words when he pulled away.

"What?" Sasuke asked at her peeved expression.

"I had a brilliant retort for that comment but because you kissed me it's lost." she huffed crossing her arms across her chest. Sasuke smirked at this new knowledge that he could make her forget something with a single kiss. This of course did not slip past the all seeing eyes of the Hyuuga on his lap.

"My god is your ego big, I'm leaving before it gets any bigger." she scoffed getting off of his lap and searching his house for her clothing.

"First off it's not my ego that's big," he smirked again causing her to roll her eyes "and secondly you're not going to find them that way." he said laughing as she ransacked his drawers.

"Fine but I know a sure fire way to find them." she said then put her hands together.

"Byakugan!" scanning his house she quickly found what she was looking for.

"You put my clothing in your dusty old attic." she growled

"Yup."

"Why?" she asked irritated.

"Well because I knew if you wanted the clothing so badly that you'd use the byakugan for it then you probably would be leaving, and since your allergic to dust you'd have to wash them before you left. Which ultimately takes time, that I could use torturing you." he explained

"Yes because spending time with my boyfriend just kills me I don't know what I'm gonna do now that I have to spend the day with you. Oh the horror the horror." she teased sarcastically.

"Really, then let's go get your clothes and throw them in the washing machine and then we can go walk around the grounds." he supplied knowing no one would see them since they were the only two who ever entered the Uchiha compound. Hinata followed Sasuke to the stairs to the attic and waited for him to come down with her clothing.

"I still can't believe you did that." she said with a glare.

"Hey I thought you forgave me!" he defended as they walked to the laundry room and he loaded the washing machine.

"Hey where is my forehead protector?" Hinata asked noticing it was missing from the rest of her things.

"Oh that." Sasuke said taking it out of his back pocket and handing it to her. Sasuke grabbed her hand after she tied it around her neck and led her to his door so they could begin their walk.

A/N: Hey guys thanks 4 tellin' me what u thought of my story and that I should continue it. I'll probably be addin' updates everyday that I can for awhile since it's already written just needs to be looked over. But then I'll get to the end of what I've written so far and be like shit now I have to write more...lol. Anyway sry if I get a little 2 detailed for some of ya but you can always skip over those parts and read the rest.
