Shikamaru Temari Morning after arriving back in Konoha Starts same time as others:

"Ugh." Shikamaru grunted as he lie in bed the sun coming in from his window was right in his eyes. 'Great this day already sucks and it hasn't even started yet.' he thinks to himself opting to turn his body away from the sunlight. Realizing he couldn't he grunts in annoyance again then opens his eyes to see what's blocking him. Smiling as he realizes its Temari, a very naked Temari to be exact he rethinks what he thought earlier. It was a very good day indeed. Propping himself up on one elbow he looks down at his girlfriend who he has missed while they were apart. They were use to the whole long distance relationship thing but that didn't mean he couldn't like the little moments they did have together. Coming out of his thoughts he realized she was waking up.

Temari slowly opened her eyes and smiled up at him.

"Whoa is it the apocalypse?! You're actually awake before me." she laughed

"That's so funny Tem, I forgot to laugh." Shikamaru said swooping his head down and giving her a kiss good morning.

"I missed that." she said when the two pulled apart.

"I know what you mean. I also quite missed doing what we did last night." Shikamaru said smiling as he said the last part.

"That's because you're a guy and all guys have perverted minds." She said after playfully hitting him on the shoulder.

"Well from what I hear from our good friend Sakura you guys do a fair share of perverted talk as well." He scolded her hypocrisy.

"What! That little rat I cannot believe she told you such a thing!" Temari said only half believing it was true.

"Well your right not to believe its true cause I was bluffing. She didn't say anything to me you did." he laughed

"ugh ah grrr." she said speechless.

"So babe what do you girls talk about anyway?" he asked very amused

"Nothing." she said firmly

"Oh really? Because I think it's something come on tell me." He continued teasing

"Fine. I tell them how bad in bed you are." she said smirking

"Really because you seemed to be enjoying are activities last night and you and I both know you, troublesome woman, cannot act for shit." he defended laughing at her outraged face.

Sitting up abruptly with the sheet covering her front and nothing covering her back she huffed.

"Tell me why I put up with you again." she asked. Shikamaru smiled and sat up as well. He sat behind her and started kissing her neck until he was up next to her ear.

"Because," he started kissing her neck again and talking between kisses "you love me and the things I do to you." he said pulling her down with him as he lay down. When his back fully hit the mattress she wasn't far behind and as her face came towards his he quickly captured her lips in a kiss. Temari laughed when they came up for air.

"Oh I remember now." she said out of breath. Then remembering why she was in Konoha in the first place she looked at the clock sitting on his bedside table. Seeing that it was almost 9:30 and her and Shikamaru had to report to Tsunade at ten she sat up.

"Come on Shika we've got work to do. Otherwise they won't let me come back here again and neither of us will like that at all." she said with a sly grin. The two got themselves up dressed and ready to go and headed out the door. Taking each other's hands they headed towards Hokage tower.

They arrived in Tsunade's office minutes later but before they entered they had dropped hands.

"Good morning." Tsunade said unusually cheerful which meant bad things for the couple in front of her since she had her let's torture people look in her eyes.

"So Temari was your first night here comfortable?" she asked with a sly grin

"Very." Temari answered not falling under the pressure of the older woman's stare.

"Good I hope your guide has been accommodating." She continued to smile evilly. It was a well known fact in Konoha that Temari and Shikamaru were dating. But that didn't stop the Hokage from having her fun.

"Well so far he's only said troublesome once so it looks promising." Temari said smirking

Tsunade burst out laughing at this. "Oh I like you, you are very funny and I can't seem to be able to make you blush." she said eyeing Shikamaru pointedly.

"Nope only one person can do that." Temari said making Tsunade laugh even more. Shikamaru on the other hand did not like where this was going.

"Alright you've had your fun, Lady Hokage what do you want us to do today." He asked

With a wave of her hand Tsunade reached for a piece of paper and handed it to Temari.

She read it then looked up at the hokage.

"Come on I just got away from the brat. Not that I don't love him because I do but jeez, I like being around people with eyebrows thank you very much." She said half kidding half complaining.

"Thanks ever so much Temari would you like me to draw some on to your liking." came the voice of the person she was talking about behind her from Tsunade's doorway.

"Heh uh. Hey little bro how much of that did you hear?" she asked turning to face him holding a little girl in his arms and Sakura standing next to him trying to hide the fact she was giggling at Temari's no eyebrow comment.

"Oh the part about me being a brat, you loving me, thanks for that by the way oh and the lovely part of me not having any eyebrows." he listed smiling finding it quite funny that his sister was trapped.

Temari was speechless.

"Hey Gaara." Shikamaru's voice broke the silence. "Not that it's not good to see you but what are you doing here."

Gaara explained the whole situation to Shikamaru not having to tell Temari since she just read it from the paper in her hands.

"Okay, hey what exactly were we supposed to do today anyways Tem?" he asked once the red head was finished explaining.

"We were just supposed to make sure he arrived okay so..." she turned to the busty blond at the front of the room. "Mission complete." she smiled

"Wow good work." said older blonde scoffed "Anyway Sakura, Gaara what are you doing here anyways?" she asked confused at their presence.

"Uh yeah Lady Tsunade Gaara and I would like to adopt Maiko. She needs a good home and since we both care about her very much we're here for whatever paperwork we need to sign to do so." Sakura said walking into the room a little bit more. Temari's jaw was nearly on the floor she couldn't believe this. Gaara, her baby brother, was going to be a father.

"Well," Tsunade spoke up "you are both old enough and the Maiko would have two parents. Alright I'll have you sign some documents and you be all set. Shizune!" she called a few seconds later a very disarrayed Shizune entered the room.

"Yes Lady Tsunade?" she asked straightening her clothing.

"Can you get me a set of adoption forms please." the blonde woman asked. Shizune walked to a file cabinet on the other end of the room, rummaged through it for a while then pulled out a stack of forms. Then walked them over to her mentor's desk and set them down.

"Will that be all then." Shizune asked

"Yes that will be all," The woman responded then called after the dark haired woman when she was at the door "oh and Shizune, tell Genma to be a little gentler on your neck next time." hearing this the younger woman quickly put her hand to her neck covering the very apparent hickey that was forming. Sakura had to smile, when she was Tsunade's student she had often walked in on Genma and Shizune in one of their many make out sessions.

"Alright sign these and then we can start calling you mommy and daddy. Unless of course Sakura already calls you daddy Gaara." she said continuing with her attempts to embarrass the youth of her village.

Shikamaru and Temari laughed. Maiko looked confused. Gaara scoffed. And Sakura rolled her eyes.

"Nice try, but I am not blushing over something like that and honestly little ears present." she scolded as her and Gaara walked up to her desk to sign the documents. Sakura signed them first then took Maiko from Gaara so he could do the same.

"Congratulations you're parents." Tsunade declared "Now get out of my office, all of you. Oh and Nara you and your little girlfriend can have the day off since you're assignment was so easy."

They all filed out of the room and walked into the lobby of the building.

"Alright you two have some explaining to do." Temari said

"Maiko has been living at the hospital since I rescued her and Sakura and I have gotten kind of attached to her. But they kicked her out today and she was going to have to live with some crazy old lady if we didn't adopt her so we did." he explained matter of factly. Temari let out a breath.

"Alright whatever. Now what's her name again?" she asked her attitude changing dramatically as she walked over to Sakura and demanded to hold the girl who was quite little for her age.

"Mommy who's dis lady I like 'er?" Maiko asked cheerfully as Temari placed her on her hip.

"That would be your aunt Temari." Sakura said smiling at her new daughter.

"Well we have little clothes to buy so we better be off." Sakura said as Maiko practically leaped into Gaara's arms when he came to stand by his sister. The new family was about to run off when they heard Temari call "Gaara." he turned to look at his sister.

"Yeah?" he asked

"I'm sorry about what I said earlier I didn't mean any of it. Well except the part were I love ya. Alright." she muttered giving him a quick hug

"I know besides 'Mari your more like my mom anyway so I'll let it pass." he said returning her hug with his free arm. Temari smiled at him as she pulled away. "Besides Kankuro is the one we make fun of and actually mean it with." he laughed.

They both looked over at their 'other halves' and sweat dropped. They were huddled together awwing at the siblings.

"What are you two looking at?" Temari snapped

"Just your touching family moment Tem." Shikamaru smirked

"Aw my Gaara is such a touching soul." Sakura pretended to wipe her eyes of nonexistent tears.

"Yeah well this 'touching soul' is taking our kid shopping join us if you decide to stop acting like a fool." he said walking off with a laughing Maiko.

"Gaara Sabaku you take that back right now!" The pink haired girl yelled as she chased after him.

"Well auntie Temari what should we do with our day off." Shikamaru asked

"If you decide to never call me that again we can go back to our place and I think we can figure something out." she finished with a wink.

"Alright Tem home it is." he said reveling in the fact that she had called his apartment their place.

A/N: OMG...I wrote this months ago and I just realized how perverted it is...anyway hope u can look past that b/c I didn't feel like rewriting it. I'll be adding another chap. 2moro if all goes as planned.
