Disclaimer/Warnings: I'm making Hanabi older so she's about sixteen in this, oh and major OOCs. I don't own Naruto and please forgive any errors I wrote this at about 3 in the morning and have to post it quick so no time to read through it a bunch of times to fix things.
"Oh Hinata you're back." Hanabi said as she was walking out the door of their house, as Hinata was coming in. "How was your mission." she asked raising her eyebrows up and down having been aware that the mission was with Sasuke.
"It went fine. Thanks for asking." Hinata said rolling her eyes, honestly Hanabi could be so juvenile sometimes.
"What can't a sister care for her older sister's well being?" the younger Hyuuga asked innocently.
"Not when she has a one track mind no." Hinata laughed as she patted her sister on the arm and continued into the house as Hanabi went on her way a mischievous grin on her face. Causing Hinata to stop and turn back towards her sister. "Hanabi wait." she called.
"Yeah?" Hanabi asked also turning back to her sister.
"Where are you going I thought you didn't have training Saturday nights." She asked
"I don't, I'm going on a date actually." Hanabi declared with slight coloring to her cheeks.
"Really, with whom?" the older of the two asked curiously.
"Ugh um..." the girl didn't continue as she looked at the floor.
"Spit it out, actually if your this hesitant to tell me I know exactly who it is." Hinata declared.
"You do?" Hanabi asked wide eyed and shocked.
"It's Naruto isn't it." This wasn't a question more a statement which Hanabi promptly nodded yes to.
"You be careful with that one alright, he's a nice guy but just remember who he had for a sensei 'kay." Hinata said acting like an overprotective mother.
"Of course. And Hinata.." she trailed off.
"What is it?" Hinata asked worried now.
"Thanks for caring so much for me even though I was a nasty brat to you when we were younger." She smiled.
"That's what I'm here for." Hinata smiled in return as they both walked in there desired directions.
Hinata walked into her room and discarded her pants then plopped under the covers and fell fast asleep. She was after all very tired from the traveling home and then spending her first night back home in Konoha at Sasuke's house, neither got much sleep the night before because they had sat up all night talking and teasing each other with a few romantic moments mixed in. Needless to say Sasuke was snoozing also in his own bed even though he'd rather have Hinata with him he knew she had to be home so as not to worry her family. But Sasuke had a plan to fix this problem and he planned to do just that as soon as he woke up.
"Shikamaru I take it back, pretending to be my brother's wife for a mission was way easier than this." Temari complained.
"I tried to warn you Tem but you were all gung-ho about it." Shikamaru pointed out.
They had left Konoha hours ago and they were to travel as far as they could today and then stop at about twilight and set up camp or if there was a hotel near by where they happened to be they were to stay there. After that they would leave in the morning and it would only take them about an hour to get to the hospital where they were to drop off the information Temari carried, they were to play it like she had gone into early labor and where they would be rushed to the hospital so the drop off could happen. The part Temari was most dreading was acting like she had lost her child when really it was just paperwork. She honestly felt for mothers who lost there child before, during or shortly after labor and didn't think it was right to pretend something so tragic happened to her. She had shared this earlier with Shikamaru.
"The story still buggin' ya Tem?" he asked as he walked next to her gently putting his hand on the small of her back. They had slowed down seeing as they were about to approach a town and they were to look like ordinary people, they even wore street clothes.
She looked up at him and nodded. "Yeah, I don't know I just don't think I can pull it off and I really don't want to it's to sad for me and I feel like somehow I'm mocking them."
"First of all Temari you aren't mocking them, in fact the documents you're carrying are the ingredients for treatments for the poison that criminal from the area who got caught was giving mothers so they're babies are born ill. And as for you not being able to pull it off just draw from your own experiences. I think you know you have a lot more painful memories than most." He said kissing her forehead as they walked into the village they assumed they would be staying in for the night seeing as it was almost dark now.
Temari turned and looked at Shikamaru even though all he did was state the facts to her she couldn't help but think how lucky she was to have someone like him love her.
"So Shika, where we stayin'?" she asked in her normal voice deciding she would worry about it when the time came.
"There." he said pointing at a little Inn about a hundred feet away.
"Looks cozy." she smiled elbowing him. Shikamaru simply rolled his eyes taking her hand and continued to walk towards the Inn hoping the person who worked there wouldn't ask for they're story seeing as he didn't want to have to tell that elaborate tale anymore than he had to.
"Maiko what is that on your bed?" Sakura asked as she tucked the little girl in that night after they had spent the day with Gaara walking around the village to get Maiko used to it. Sakura already having been since she had taken so many missions over the years to Suna. Needless to say they were all exhausted.
"My dubba bubba pillow name Sakwa." she said in her patented small child talk.
"And where did you get it?" Sakura asked starting to get annoyed but not wanting Maiko to realize it.
"Daddy got it fo me when he met Gaara." she said holding up her panda bear. Sakura couldn't believe Gaara would get their daughter something so stupid just because she named the panda after him. I mean she HATES it when people compare her hair to bubble gum and he knows it. It's not like people call him Panda all the time, just his siblings and her on occasion. They generally don't call him it though because everyone else either doesn't care to piss him off or is to afraid to because of his past or his status of Kazekage.
Not being able to hold in her annoyance any longer Sakura quickly tucked the girl in and kissed her goodnight with a fake cheery smile on her face before she quickly left the room walking down the hall to her and Gaara's bedroom. As soon as she saw him standing by their bed changing out of his shirt she tackled him onto the bed and started hitting him with the Double Bubble pillow she had stealthily taken from her daughters bed.
"Sakura OW would you stop." Gaara said grabbing her writst to stop her from hitting him as he sat up her still sitting in his lap glaring at him.
"Why on earth would you buy are daughter this." She growled holding the pillow so close to his face it was touching his nose.
Shoving her hand and the small pillow out of his face he smirked. "Well maybe you should think about the consequences the next time you name stuffed panda bears after me." he chuckled.
"Oh so you think this is funny do you?" she hissed an evil glint in her eye.
"Yup." was his response before she promptly jumped off his lap and got under the covers of there bed and pretended to go to sleep, she was now thankful Maiko made them change into their pj's together.
"Ah Sakura it's just a pillow and she loved it...she said it reminded her of mommy while her panda did her daddy. So you really can't be mad at me for that." He reasoned, then seeing she was trying not to smile he then added to finally brake her. "Oh and whenever I imagined you jumping me I always pictured it ending a little bit more enjoyable than that." he smirked seeing he finally got her to smile.
"Damn you I wanted to be mad at you." she glared through a smile.
"Yeah but it's not good to go to bed angry." He smiled kissing her goodnight before turning of the light and snuggling under the covers next to her.
"Yeah yeah yeah." she yawned as he put his arm around her and she used his chest as a pillow. "Night Panda." she muttered giggling.
"Night bubble gum." he chuckled abruptly stopping when she hit him on the chest, "Ow." he groaned before mumbling something that sounded like 'you started it' before he closed his eyes too.
Not even fifteen feet away in a room down the hall Maiko whispered to Gaara the panda, "I think mommy wanted Sakwa tonight." before drifting to sleep.
A/N: WOOT!! All couples in one chapter!! Oh and just wanted to tell ya that whenever Maiko talks if there are spelling errors or words that don't go there it's most likely so it sounds like she's talking little kid lingo or messing up the words because well little kids do that. Also I think in earlier chapters she might have said Sakura but I think Sakwa is cuter so yeah.
Oh and the 24th of October is the one year anniversary of when I started posting fanfics online on . I am sad to say I didn't even get to be on that site a year before it shut down but it forced me to post them here on my favorite fanfiction site. (It was easier 2 do on fanlib and I'm lazy... enough said.) Alright I'm gonna do something special for you guys to 'celebrate' you could say.
Anyway so if you guys would like me to right a oneshot of any pairing from Naruto please leave a review or send me a message via my profile telling me who and what you would like to happen(like if they are ninja or not or what you would like the situation to be like) and I'll pick a couple of them to write and do my best.(Just watch no one does this and I look like a total dork.)
