Flashback to how Sasuke and Hinata became and item...warning major OOCness

Sasuke's POV

Okay so I admit it, I watch her. It's not my fault that she trains on the same training grounds as me except she is just finishing up when I show up so I stay in the shadows so as not to disturb her, and as I wait I cannot help but notice how beautiful she is and also how fluid and graceful her movements are, I'm usually not sappy like this but damn, I wonder why a few years back when she was Naruto crazy he didn't go for her. Of course this being after I pointed it out to the clueless buffoon I call a best friend. That was when I trained with said idiot everyday at the time I usually spend training in solidarity now so I had yet to see the wonder that was Hinata Hyuuga. But seeing as now if I just could find it in me to actually go for it and ask her out, I'm glad my friends such a jack ass who wouldn't know a good idea if it hit him in the face.

Anyway back to the moment I'm sitting in a tree looking into the clearing she is training in. She know's I'm here of course if she didn't have enough skill to sense that I honestly wouldn't even consider her as an option to be someone I might one day like to marry. Don't get me wrong I'm not out looking for prospects for woman to bear my children(anymore) but watching her do her own unique style I can't help but think that this woman is actually worth my time and if that time developed into a lifetime I'd be okay with it.

Hinata's POV

He's watching me again. I correct myself he's 'waiting' for me to leave. I don't see why he doesn't just come later instead of watching me everyday. Okay so he doesn't mess me up, but because I may have a slight crush on him I'm afraid I'll revert back to my old ways turn beat red and faint if my crush get's to close, like what I used to do around Naruto. Ah Naruto I don't know why I thought just because I admired the guy that I had to be in love with him to, oh well that is a benefit of getting older you realize things you didn't at a young age. Like how I now see Sasuke as a friend and in my wildest dreams a love interest when before I only thought of him as well kinda scary and a lil' bit of a jerk.

As I finish up my usual solo training routine I shoot him a smile before heading home, I think tomorrow I'll ask him to spar with me, this could be fun.

Sasuke's POV

Damn it I'm sure I look stupid sitting in a tree, alone, blushing. It's not my fault that Hinata had smiled at me. I can't really resist the smirk that takes over my features though as I jump down from my spot and walk over to the clearing to start my training. Of course this smirk is quickly wiped off my face as I realize Hinata's watching me now. She finally decided to turn the tables, might as well give a little show. So after doing training that would make me work up a sweat I promptly whip my shirt towards the tree I had vacated earlier and then went on about my training. I could just see her blush in my mind but didn't want to make it look like this act was on purpose so I denied myself the real thing, and went back to training.

Normal POV

The next day Hinata didn't show up at her usual time to train alone she arrived five minutes before Sasuke usually shows up and stretched. When she sensed him coming near she smile then faced the direction he was in.

"Hey Sasuke, wanna spar?" She asked casually like they were the best of friends even though they rarely talked unless on missions. The Uchiha looked to be thinking it over before he smirked and agreed.

"So are we using our Kekkei Genkai?" He asked. Instead of replying directly Hinata did the usual hand symbol and cried "Byakugan." Sasuke smirked that she wasn't being as shy with him as he thought she might be. The two hadn't even been sparring for ten minutes when they were locked together in such a way that their faces were mear inches from each others face, this promptly causing Hinata to turn beat red while Sasuke who would have normally smirked found himself fighting the blood from rushing to his cheeks since his hand was rather close to her breast and he could feel her accelerated heart beat.

"Um S-sasuke.." Hinata trailed off stuttering after the had stayed in that position, unmoving for what seemed like an eternity but was only about two minutes. Sasuke quickly pulled back and regained his composure enough to send a smirk her way before he grabbed her hand and dragged her back towards the rest of civilization.

"S-sasuke where a-are we going?" She said trying but failing to keep her voice in check.

"Well since I practically groped you out there I should at least by you something to eat, if not just to keep you from fainting on me." He turned to look back at her and smirked noticing his words had caused her blush again. "Did you know you're rather cute when you blush Hinata." His smirk and ego got larger as her blush deepened.

Hinata glared at him knowing he was making the blood rush to her face on purpose and hating every minute of it, well maybe not every minute but it was rather embarrassing to flush every time he said something.

"Would you knock it off." She said after composing herself enough so she wouldn't blush. The slightly sharp tone in her voice had caught Sasuke off guard but he played it cool.

"Knock what off?" He asked innocently.

"Trying to make me blush, and stutter...it's really pissing me off." She smirked as he now showed the surprise on his face.

"Well, well,well Ms. Hyuuga has quite the mouth on her now doesn't she?" He laughed. "I must admit I'm rather astounded that you know such words."

"Well I usually only let my 'dark side', as Hanabi calls it, show when I'm ticked off which you are doing a great job of bringing out." the tone in her voice was light but the look in her eyes held fire as she smiled at the taller ninja who still had a hold of her hand as he directed her to where he wanted to go.

The two ended up sitting across from each other at a restaurant with very little people present being that it was a little to early for a dinner.

"So I see your stutter has improved." Sasuke pointed out.

"Somewhat." She replied. "But I still keep my sentences short just in case." she struggled with the last part since it was rather long causing her to blush.

"I think you do alright. You're blushing on the other hand has only gotten worse." He smirked as the blood started to pool beneath her cheeks yet again.

"Would you knock that off." She fumed

"Sorry." He smiled a genuine smile not a smirk.

"Whoa I didn't know you could smile." She teased

"I always smile." He defended going back to the smirk.

"No you don't," she paused to real in her stutter "you smirk which may I point out is not as appealing as the smile, you look like a prick when you smirk." she laughed as his eyes widened.

The two ate there meals and subtly flirted before going they're separate ways.

Sasuke and Hinata now had a schedule down, every other day they trained solo with the other one observing but the days that they didn't train by themselves they'd spar, either way they always ended up eating together at the same restaurant they had dined at the first time. This had been going on for weeks and every night Sasuke walked Hinata home, even though they both knew she was more than capable of getting herself there just fine. Tonight was no different as the two stood in front of the Hyuuga residence Sasuke picking up Hinata's jacket off the ground from the spot it had fallen.

Hinata reached out to take the jacket from his hands. As she got a grip on it he gave it a gentle tug and bent down to kiss her. When the two pulled apart both had shy smiles on there faces as their eyes locked. "Full of surprises." she giggled.

"Me, what about you, I do believe the 'shy' Hyuuga heiress just frenched me." He chuckled at her reddened face.

"Goodnight Sasuke, see you tomorrow." She said giving him a quick peck on the lips and a laugh walking towards the door to her house and stepping in.

And I think you it's obvious the relationship only progressed from there...
