"Hinata." Sasuke said poking his sleeping girlfriend in the side as he stood beside the bed fully dressed. The beauty moaned slightly before turning so her back was to the offender. Sasuke smirked and eyed her fit body through the thin bed sheet before deciding that just prodding the girl was not going to wake her so he bent down to where his mouth hovered over her ear as his hand wandered up her thigh to its target.

"Hina if you don't wake up in three...two..." Sasuke smirked "One." he finished by giving her butt a gentle squeeze as he started sucking on her neck which would most definitely result in a hickey.

"I knew if I stayed still long enough I'd get some action now get your butt back in bed mister we have things to do." Hinata giggled as he hit a rather ticklish spot on her neck.

"No can do, I went to see the Hokage earlier this morning, I'm being sent on a mission with Shikamaru so I wanted to say goodbye before I left." He stated kissing her on the lips.

"Sasuke.." Hinata said with saddened eyes.

"Yes Hina I'll be careful and I love you too." He said knowing what she was gonna say even before she said it. Then he kissed her passionately knowing it could be awhile before they would have any physical contact again.

"I do love you. And you better be careful." Hinata scolded knowing he could sometimes be a little bit reckless.

"No need to worry okay. Now I better get going because I really don't want to turn into my former sensei and be late." He smiled lovingly and very unSasuke like before heading out.

(SHIKATEMA)

Not far away in one Shikamaru Nara's apartment said man was entering his home when he heard his girlfriend's voice.

"What'd the Hokage want?" Temari asked from her place on the couch where she had been seated ever since the Ninja who came to tell Shikamaru he was being summoned woke them this morning.

"I've got a mission with Uchiha we're not sure how long we'll be gone." he answered as he packed his things.

"Oh." was all she said looking down at the book she held in her hands.

"Your not worried about me are you?" the lazy nin asked with a raised eyebrow.

"No Crybaby I'm not. Okay maybe a little since you won't have me to save your ass and all." she huffed. Shikamaru sighed and set down his back pack next to the door then walked over to Temari. Sitting down next to her and pulling her into his lap he buried his face in her hair and kissed her neck through the blonde locks.

"You do know you don't always have to act so tough right." he smiled kindly looking her in the eye.

"Shut up." She spat smiling slightly

"Love you too. Now I gotta go." he smiled kissing her and bringing her into a hug.

"Yeah unfortunately I do love you so you better not let anything happen to yourself." she said as she hugged him back tightly then let go and moved off of his lap.

"I have to go meet Sasuke to get something from Shizune then I'll be heading out. I'll be back as soon as possible alright." Shikamaru stated kissing her forehead then heading for the door.

"Fine, good luck." Temari smiled as he closed the door behind him, the door wasn't even shut for two seconds when she launched herself towards the coffee table and grabbed the phone off of it.

"Temari." came an answer.

"How'd you know it was me Hinata." Temari questioned.

"Well I just dialed you then the phone rang so I was hoping it was you, calling me with the same idea I had." Hinata laughed.

"Would this idea be to beat our guys to the gate and see them off." the blonde asked what she had originally called for in the first place.

"Exactly I knew there was a reason we were friends." The Hyuuga laughed "Meet you there?"

"You got it." Temari said then hung up and used her amazing ninja skills (a/n: chortle) and was at the gate in no time.

"Ha beat ya!" Hinata smiled.

"You live closer Hyuuga so shut it." Temari said sticking out her tongue as the two sat on the bench that was just before the gate. The two didn't have to wait long for the Pineapple and Duck butt hair does to come within view.

"Ha that is hilarious." Temari laughed pointing at their two respective boyfriends heads.

"Wow, well at least Shikamaru's goes away when he takes his hair down. Sasuke's just does that naturally." Hinata mused fondly.

"Please tell me you guys didn't come all the way out here to comment on our hair." Shikamaru said having heard the conversation.

"No that was just an observation that we found comical. We actually came to see you off but if you want me to lea..." Shikamaru cut her off by grabbing her wrist and bringing her into her arms and kissed her. "Tem you talk to much." was all he pulled away to say before swooping back in for another kiss.

"I'm not hugging you Hinata." Sasuke declared

"Why not." The white eyed girl asked in confusion.

"You'll mess up my hair." He smirked

"Jack ass I thought you were serious. You know I don't like being in fights before either of us goes on a mission." She huffed hurt as she turned her back to him. Sasuke sighed and walked forward wrapping his arms around her waist and resting his head on her shoulder.

"Hina, I was just joking and I know you're worried but like you said we don't fight before missions especially over something so stupid as me being a jack ass, which I almost always am."

"No your not, but your head does look like a ducks ass." Hinata laughed.

"There you go, we have to leave now so are you going to kiss me goodbye willingly or am I going to have to steal it." he asked with his trademark smirk. Hinata let out a breath of air and turned in his arms and made a stupid puckered face as she tried not to smile.

"Very sexy." Sasuke remarked chuckling then kissed the girl once her face relaxed. Then stepped back waved and fell into step with Shikamaru as the two set off towards their desired location.

"Hate to see them go but love to watch them leave." Temari said admiring Shikamaru's back side.

"Did you seriously just quote Trace Adkins." Hinata asked with an exasperated eye roll as she grabbed her friend's arm and pulled her into the direction of a coffee shop so the two could spend the morning together so as not to be lonely with their men gone.
