They all went thier seperate ways to thier lockers and to get thier scudurals.As Claire was
walking to her locker she heard a voice behind her"Excuse me"
She turned around to see a girl,one she hadnt seen before.She had brown hair kinda curly and emerald eyes.She seemed nice enough."Hey,What's up?" Claire asked
"I can't find my locker" She said kinda embarresed "It's 215"
"Oh yea that's the locker next to mine" She smiled
They began to walk together"Im Claire by the way" the girl smiled"Im Kate"
"So you'r new here right?" Claire asked
"Umm, yea i moved in on Burton,number 8" She told the blonde girl
"No kidding we were wondering who was moving in" She stated
Kate smiled as they finally arrived at thier lockers.They opened them up and put thier stuff inside.
"Claire" someone shouted
Claire looked and saw Jack coming towards her .He finally reached her "Hey Jack" Claire smiled
"What's your first class" He asked
Then he saw that they werent alone.Their was a girl at the next locker.'She's beautiful' he thought.Claire saw him looking and spoke up "This is the new girl,she moved in the house on our street".
Kate laughed "Hi im Kate" she said extending her hand,Jack took it "Jack,First day huh?" he asked
She nodded ' he seems nice and he's cute , look at his eyes' she thought as his voice broke her thought
"So what do you got?" he asked
"Huh?" Kate said still kinda in a daze.Then she realized he was talking about classes "Umm English with Ms.Douso" She told him
"Cool me too, you aahh want walk with me" he paused nervously " i mean i'll show you where it is"
Kate laughed " that would be great" He nodded
"Bye Claire" he said waving to his friend as they walked off
Jack and Kate strolled down the hall, till they reached room 311." This is it" He told her as they walked into the class.
As they walked in a Brown haired boy and a guy with long blonde hair walked up and started talking to Jack"Hey Man,Welcome back" the browned hair boy said pattin Jack on the back.
Jack smiled and remembered to be a gentleman "Umm guys this is Kate,she just moved here from..."He looked at Kate. "Iowa, Hi" she smiled. "This is Boone" he pointed to the brown haired boy and he smiled sweetly at her " and this is Sawyer" he pointed to the blonde guy,Sawyer walked up and took her hand " Howdy Freakles,Welcome to our very own hell hole" he smirked
Kate rolled her eyes and just than the teacher came in.
"Hello Students, I'm Ms.Douso and this is grade 12 english" She annouced as if they didn't know.
She placed some papers on her desk and annouced " It seems we have a new student, Kate Austen" She looked around and saw Kate sitting next to Jack in the back,She gave Kate a nod ,She returned it with a smile " I see you already know Mr.Shephard" Kate said 'yes' with a smile "Good, Mr.Shephard you'll show her around today"She Asked but it was more of a request
"Will Do" He replied
"OK so we will be reading Crabbe for our novel this semester"She held up the book
"Mister Ford can you please pass these out" She asked
"What are you gonna give me in return"Saywer said smug
"Well Mister Ford I wont kick you out of my class for starters" She said and the class laughed
"Alright,Alright no need to get haisty" and he started passing them out.
The rest of the day went great.At lunch she meet all the other friends of Jacks,Boones,Saywers And Claires.There was Shannon,She was Boones sister and already made plans to go shopping with Kate.Than there was Sayid he was nice very smart and kinda intimadating. Than there was Hurley and Charlie who seemed to be the clowns of the group. She was found out that she had Art with Claire,Math with Sawyer and Sayid and Science with Shannon,Claire and Jack,Which made her look forward to last period.Kate went home and sat on her bed and thought about her day 'yeah im gonna love it here' she thought and a smile creeped on her face.
