The rest of the week went great for Kate. She got comfortable in school and they finally got into the the textbook work.Everyday after school she would hang out with all hr new friends,they'd go get coffee,go mini golfing or just hang out.Kate loved all her new friends but she always spent the most time with Jack,She'd sit with him for coffee and was on his team for mini golf.Kate really liked Jack,He was this amazing guy on the outside,When you look at Jack Shephard you see the guy that gets good grades,the guy whos pretty good at sports,the good looking sweet guy, But noticed that when she looked in his eyes that there was more than that.He had that look, that look like someone must have hurt him so bad.She found herself very curious to find out who the real Jack Shephard was.
Now it was friday the school bell just rang.They all said they would meet at the front of the school.
"Where are Jack & Kate" Claire asked " Dont they have last period together"
"Ya they do, what is taking them solong" Shannon said annoyed
Just thing Jack & Kate walked out and up to the rest of there friends."Hey guys" Jack said
They started to walk out of school and down the road.
"So what are we doing today?" Charlie asked
"Im as white as a Marshmallow lets go to the beach" Shannon said
"Marshmallow you couldn't come up with something better than that" Claire laughed and Shannon shoot her a look.
"Im in for the beach"Charlie said
They all nodded went to thier house got ready and went to the beach.Now at the beach Shannon was tanning as always,Kate and Claire were talking about this quiz they were doing in a magazine, The Boys were throwing around the football.
" So when are you and Charlie finally gonna get together?" Kate asked teansing her
"When you and Jack do" She laughed sticking out her tongue
"WHAT!" Kate screamed loud enough to catch the boys attention.They all ran over
"What's going on?" Jack asked confused
"Oh there was a bug on my towel" Kate said to cover up what they were really talking about
Jack looked at her eye brow raised " I never thought of you as the scared of bugs kinda girl kate" he said laughing
Kate just glared at him " Well maybe you got me all wrong" she said stepping closer to him.They were so closer there noises were almost touching,Jack broke the silence "Well why do show me just how much i have wrong" he said flirtingly 'Omg is he flirting?' Kate thought and smiled .Next thing she knows her feet are not touching the sand anymore,when she finally realised what happen she sceamed " Jaaack, let me down"
He shook his head " nope not until you admit that i know you" She laughed and the reached the water.Jack shot her in and dived in himself. When she came up she felt hands holding her waist.She looked at Jack cause she knew they were his.They just floated there enjoying thier moment until Jack started tickling her until she said laughing " ok ok you know me " He stop and they both realized how close they were and they just looked into each others eyes " you know me" she said in a low voice.
They both leaned in than a voice broke thier gaze " Hey Guys Football Game?" Charlie yelled
"Way to ruin their moment Charie" Claire hissed
Back in the water " We better go" Jack told Kate and she nodded.Jack started to walk out when kate called out " Hey Shephard im gonna get you back for thowing me in" Jack shook his head and laughed"Looking forward to it"
They started the game of football.They decided boys against girls,the girls wanted to prove they could beat the boys.They have been playing for a while so they decided next point wins.
The Girls Huddle
"Ok so we know that they are give the ball to Jack" Claire Said
"So how in the world do we stop Jack?" Shannon Asked
Kate smirked " Leave it up to me, i can handle Jack"
The Boys Huddle
"This should be a easy win" Sayid said
"Yea mate just give the ball to Jack" Charlie said
Jack nodded
So Sayid takes it up the beach passes it to Jack.Jack gets passed Claire and Shannon easily.It's all up to Kate.When Jack gets to Kate,She is blocking him their body's pressed against each other.Than she lifts her head up leans into toward Jack " Is she gonna kiss me' Jacks thinking Kate gives Jack a kiss on the cheek and grabs the ball. Kate ,Claire and Shannon started to dance around.
" Jack what the hell was that" Charlie said
Jack just laughed " She's good" After the girls finished glowting she walked towards Jack stood on her tip toes and whispered in his ear " I told you i get you back Shephard"
They left the beach and decided that they'd all stay at Jack's for the night. Kate needed something to sleep in and to ask her mom.Jack offered to walk with her.They got to Kate's house and went inside.
"Where the hell were you" The man said with liquor on his breath
" At the beach im staying at Jack's with some friends" She said with anger
"She sucked you in huh? You feel sorry for her" He said looking at Jack
Jack didnt answer just started walking up the stairs " Hey im talking to you boy" he screamed
Jack could feel his blood starting to boil.Kate got her stuff and came back down stairs.
The man pinned her against the wall " You are beautiful" he breathed in her face
" Hey leave her alone" Jack told the man
he smirked and said " look who finally decided to tak"
He turned back to Kate and slapped her.That was it Jack Grabbed him by the and pushed him against the wall and punched him in face. Jack looked at the bloody man and said " Stay away from her"
With they left and went back to Jack's.
