when they got back to jack's everyone was sitting in the living room,but Kate went right upstairs and Jack followed her.The rest of them watch confusingly.

"Watch going on with them" Shannon asked and the all shrugged

Upstaires Jack walked into his bedroom quietly and saw Kate crying in the corner of the room.He walked over to her and slid down to sit on his floor next to her.

"Im sorry,Im so sorry Jack" She sobbed

He placed his hand on her back and gently rubbed up and down " You've got nothing to be sorry for" he said

She just leaned into him and sobbed and he just held her for a while because it was all he could think of to comfort her.After about she 20 minutes she lifted her head from his chest.

"I didnt want you to see that,i dont want you to look at me and feel sorry for me" She choaked out

He just pulled her closer " but you shouldn't have hit him it just made him madder" she told him while looking into his eyes.

" im not gonna sit back and watch him hurt you,i cant im not that kinda guy" he said and smiled sweetly at her.She ruturned it and got up walked over to her bag.Jack got up and asked "are you ok?" she smiled " im better now"

Jack noticed a book beside her bag " what's that?" he asked

she smiled and replied " its just a book i write songs and stuff in or just how im feeling"," wanna see?" she asked him he nodded and added " i mean if you wanna share it with me" she smiled and said " i trust you".

Jack noticed these lyrics " whats this?" he asked

" just something i wrote about a week ago" she said

"Can i hear it?" she smiled and replied " its supposed to be a duet"

"so lets make it one" he smiled

She smiled and placed the book so he could see the lyrics too.

They all went downstaires and the girls wanted to watch the notebook.the guys just gave into them.Shannon was with Sayid on the chair,Sawyer was with Ana on the other chair and Charlie and Claire were sitting on the floor wrapped up in a blanket and Jack and Kate were on the couch with a blanket.The end of the movie was playing and Jack looked over at Kate and noticed a tear fall down her cheek.

" Are you crying" he asked

She nodded "It's this movie i always cry"

He pulled her close to him" Your cute" he giggled finding it funny that Kate the tough stubborn Kate cried during the notebook.She just layed there on his chest,his arms around her until they both drifted off to sleep.

The others just looked at them sleeping.Charlie walked over and shut the tv off."They are adorable"Claire said ,Shannon nodded and got up and got her camera out of her bag and walked over to Claire.Claire took the camera and snapped a picture of them.After that they all returned to there places and drifted to sleep aswell.
