She had to stop at that because the bell ran.She went to her locker.
"Hey Kate" Claire said
Kate was completly in a daze she didnt even hear.Claire waved her hand infront of Kates face"Heeeelloo Kate" She repeated
"Oh um Hey Claire" She smiled
"Whats going on with you" She asked but before kate had time to answer Jack and Shannon walked up
"Hey Guys" Shannon Said
"Hey Kate" Jack said Kate smiled,he said 'hey kate' just kate she thought than realized that it sounded stupid that she thought it was anything more than a hello.
"You guys wanna grab some lunch" Claire asked.They all nodded and made there way to the cafeteria.
"Shit" Kate murmerd.Jack walked up do her"Whats wrong"
She shook her head "They raised the prices here" She told him.He realized that because of that she was probably short.He took her tray and brought them to the cash and paid for them both."You dont have to Jack" Kate said he just nodded and said"I know".
After school was done they all went home and said they'd meet back at the cafe at 8.Kate was at home finishing up her homework when she remembered her song so she took out the book and started to right more she suddenly stoped writing and stared at the page '

'Omg god' she thought i didnt realize i wrote that but do i want to erase it.No i dont think i do,am i really in love with Jack?She asked herself She smiled and continued writing because yeah she really did.
Later that night at the cafe,they all sat around the table listening to everyone sing.When Jack got up and said "Ok Kate you'r turn" winking at her.She smiled shyly."Ok" she said and went up to the stage.She sat on a bench and took the guitar.
"This is my first time doing this so bare with me" She said with a laugh
'Shes cute' Jack thought
And she began her song...

Jack smiled at Kate and she felt her heart rate go faster,she found herself wondering does he know im singing about him.

She finished and got off stage.Everyone clapped and Jack pulled her into a hug"That was amazing" Jack said.She pulled away and smiled "Thanks".
Just then Sarah walked in "Oh no bitch alert" Shannon said and they all looked.Kate looked and thought doesnt Jack still want her? Judgeing by the way he was looking her way she'd take that as a yes.
"Hey Jack" Sarah said with a flirty smiled
"Sarah" Jack nodded.the tension filled the air.
The next 20 minutes or so were full of Sarah flirting with Jack and given Kate and the others dirty looks.Kate wanted to punch her.Kate walked up to Jack and said" Im gonna go" but before he could answer sarah's annoying voice came into the conversation."Wanna walk me home Jack?" she said as tho she knew he'd say yes.
He looked at Kate and replied " Nah,I've got something to do" He grabbed Kate's hand "Can i walk you home?" He asked She smiled and they walked out hand in hand leaving a shocked Sarah there alone.And all there friends could say was "FINALLY".
