Hey Guys Sorry I Haven't Updated In A While Ive Been Busy With School ,Football And Work.But Im Catching Up I've Got 2 Chapter To Post Tonight
It was tuesday morning and everyone was sitting in there homeroom listening to the announcements they were always pretty much the same a couple different things in them everyday,todays went something like this...
"Today's cafeteria special is spaghetti and meatballs,the upcoming dance is going to be held on friday,todays basketball game after school will be a good one,come support your school..."
Shannon passed Kate a note from her table,Kate unfolded it and it read..
"you going to the game tonight"

Kate smiled to herself as she replied..
"Im not sure why? are you?"

When Shannon read she smiled and wrote down..
"Duh,sweaty gorgeous boys i wouldnt miss it"

Kate laughed to herself and Mr.Savard turned to her and asked " Is thier something funny about particle theory?" Kate shook her head " no sir sorry"
She sent the note back to Shannon saying..
"I dunno...& is that all you think about?

" Oh come on Kate,Jacks gonna be there,one of the many sweaty gorgeous boys"

Kate read what her friend wrote and thought well maybe i could go,i mean what else am i gonna do it could be fun.She glanced over at Jack who was sitting with Sayid and smiled as she wrote something and sent it back to Shannon.Shannon smiled as she opened the paper that read..
" Ok Im In"

Third period came around and Kate had study hall,she loved that because no classe but mostly because Jack also had study hall that period.She was sitting at the table when someone came up and asked " This seat taken" She smiled and replied " Nope Sit" Jack sat down next to her.
" You getting nervous about the game" She asked
Jack chuckled "A little,but you'll be there right"
She smiled at him sweetly"Of course,so you better wave to me" they both laughed
"Everybody waves you never know who they are waving too,i need something different something special" Jack told her
"How about you stick your pinky in the air" She chuckled
"Ok yeah thats good " Jack said
"Jack i was kidding,you'll look like a goof" She laughed
"I dont care when i stick my pinky in the air im waving to you alright" He said
At the basketball game,Kate,Shannon and Claire were in the stands.
"Your first school game Kate" Claire said and Kate nodded
"Watch Sayid he's the best" Shannon said proudly
Claire laughed and said " Charlie better"
"Charlie is the mascot Claire" Shannon teased
When the looked over at Kate they saw she wasnt looking Sayid or Charlie,When they followed her gaze they werent surprised that they found Jack.
"Jack looks good huh Kate?" Shannon winked
Kate snapped out of her gaze " Umm yeah hadnt noticed" she lied
And the game started...
Half way threw the game the couch called a time out .The team huddled
"Shephard get your head in the game" Coach yelled
"Sorry coach" Jack said
Jack wasnt playing as good as he always did and he couldnt figure out why,the only thing that has changed was that kate was there.A voice broke Jack's thoughts " Hey Jack-o stop daydreaming about Kate and get in the game" Saywer Said
" Just shut up and give me the ball" Jack told him
They were tied,1 minute left in the game and Jack had the ball at the three point line.He looked at the net than at the ball than at the stands when he spotted her he put his hand in the air and raised his pinky,when she saw it she smiled and raised hers.Yup he looks like a goof,but hes the most adorable goof ive ever seen she thought.Jack shot the ball and in it went.
Later that night they all met up again at the cafe.Kate walked up to Jack.
" Hey nice shot Shephard" She teased " Game winning shot"
"Thanks to you" he smiled,She looked confused so he raised his pinky and they both laughed.
They were all sitting at the table.
"Dance is on friday" Shannon squelled
"Claire who are you going with?" Sayid asked,Everyone knew he was going with Shannon.
" umm Charlie" she smiled and kissed his cheek
"Wait are you guys...like a item now?" Kate said happily
They both nodded and Kate and Shannon gave Claire a hug and Sayid shook Charlie's hand,Jack gave Claire a hug and shook Charlies hand but added
" If you hurt her ill kill you,Congratulations!" Claire laughed and Charlie did too but looked kinda scared.
"The big brother thing suits you" Kate walked up and told Jack
He laughed "Yeah you think?" She nodded and they smiled
"So Kate" Jack said nervously
"So Jack" She mocked
"Got any plans friday night" Jack asked
Kate smiled and played along " Well theres this dance but no one asked me yet"
"Well i guess we will have to change that" Jack said
"Oh really and how do you suppose we do that" She said acting stupid
"Well i think you'll just have to go with me" Jack laughed
"Wait are you really asking or just playing because sometimes i dont know with you" She laughed
Jack smiled " im asking Kate,Will you go to the dance with me?"
She smiled "Of course i will"
They all went back to Jack's,His parents were gone and they were drinking.They were all pretty smashed and they were either making out on the coach or sleeping,except Jack and Kate they were in Jack's bedroom playing some game on playstation and Kate was kicking his butt.
"Jeez Shep i thought you'd be better competition" Kate laughed at him
"Yeah well i was distracted" He replied
"Oh yeah by what?" She asked
"You" he said honestly and leaned in to kiss Kate.The kiss took her by surprise but she kissed back.It was slow and gentle,sweet kinda like in a movie.When they pulled away Jack keeped his eyes closed like he was still remembering it which Kate thought was adorable.
"We better go to bed" He said,She nodded and they went to bed.
