Chapter Six: Yuias Sguali
Sorry, my mom banned me from the computer…long story. Read and enjoy!
Lysara: Hmm, that's a good idea. Maybe I will have a chapter or even a paragraph in his persective. Maybe I won't, we will just have to see! Thanks!!! (And I am aware how evil I am.)
bclovr-22: Thank you!!
Darth Tater: Why thank you. The sandwich was very good by the way. :D Thank you, you are awesome!
addicted2TPierce: (By the way, I totally understand your name. That's how I feel.) Thank you!! That's good to know. Some people are addicted to drugs…and some to fanfiction. :D
focid 360: Ha ha, I was wondering why it took you so long! I was like, where's focid 360s review! :D To your first question, she was afraid of being caught again. To your second question, that will be answered. To you third, I will try and be better about that, I find it harder when I'm writing fanfiction, it's easier when I'm writing my own. And to your forth, yes I am evil and I guess I do like toturing you guys! Thanks!
Disclaimer: Not mine...
"Please, papa!" I beg as he drags me up the hill, towards the execution tent.
"You are not my daughter. You are a demon!" he spits are me. I bite my lip, my heart twinging slightly in pain. Those words should never come out of your own Papa's mouth.
"Papa…" I whisper, already having given up all hope. Hope that maybe seeing his daughter like this, would change his mind. But it doesn't.
Indeed, papa drops me off at the execution tent and leaves, not even bothering to cast back a glance for his only child, as he walks back to his family tent. Not caring at all, what will happen to me.

I don't know how long I sit there when I finally go numb. I am going to die tomorrow. Tomorrow I am going to die. Tonight is my last night alive. All because of magic. I couldn't give it up, so this is where I end up. Deaths row.
Unless…suddenly the thought spurs in my mind, so suddenly, and I wonder why I didn't ever think of it before. I used magic to get into this mess, so why not use it to get out of it?
I sit calmly on the ground and breathe in and out, deeply through my nose. I can't get distracted, not today.
My magic pools out of me a little more with each breath. Soon it lights the entire tent in it's glow, filling it with power. I test each stitch of fabric covering the tent. It's not magicked. Good.
I let my magic swell into the walls. "Wait for it, wait for it…" a loud boom sounds, striking the tent walls around me. Flames burst everywhere and my bonds catch on flame, burning off of my hands and legs.
I jump up and run from the area, not giving a backwards glance at the fire behind me. Just running to get away. Because I am no longer welcome there anymore.

I don't know how long I walk into the desert before I here the horse hooves after me. I don't even turn to look. I know I can fight off any Bazhir man.
"Jezmen Ka'eere." It's him. I turn around slowly to face him. Prince Roald sits there a top his horse, looking down at me.
"Prince Roald." I say, not afraid anymore. It's like something inside me cracked, leaving me feeling reckless and angry…and empty.
"I'm not here to hurt you. I'm here to help you." He says softly, as if knowing what I'm thinking.
"Oh yeah? How?" I ask curiously, not moving from my spot on the ground. Prince Roald dismounts and steps towards me.
"I'm going to take you to Corus, the palace. I'll get you a teacher, you can learn how to use your magic properly." It sounds sweet, like the prosect of a fresh berry after spring. Only to bite into it and find it bitter.
"What's the catch?" the words are out of my mouth before I even realize I've spoken them.
The prince smiles at that. "Well, being blasted down wouldn't be too bad!" I smile at that, before reluctantly giving in.
"Ok, I'll go to the palace with you. But don't exspect me to give up all customs, not all of them anyway." There's still part of me that despretly wishes to be Bazhir.
Prince Roald nods. "Fine enough. Now we can talk more after we make camp." He says, after looking out into the dark night.
"Deal."

The feeling of something wet hitting my face is what wakes me. I open my eyes to see a large short of creature above me. I jump up and roll away from the thing, just as it slams its fangs into my bedroll.
"Prince Roald!" I scream, as two more of the creatures appear next to the first.
The creatures are something I have never seen before, but have heard of. A creature created by a mage that went mad with power. His own creatures killed him.
These creatures have the head of a cobra and body of a large lizard, larger than any other kinds. They're called Yuias Sguali by the Bazhir and Lizard Tongue by Northerners.
Prince Roald comes at a run, sword in hand, as five more appear to my other side. "Use your magic!" Prince Roald yells to me.
"I don't know how!" I could use it against a human, sure, but these creatures are made of magic. How am I supposed to fight magic with magic?
"You can do it! I know you can, Jezmen!" I watch in disbelief as Prince Roald rushes towards the Yuias Sguali and begins fighting them fearlessly.
I know I should do something, but I am paralyzed in fear as they attack him. "He's out numbered, he can't do it, Jezmen do something!" I scream mentally at myself, yet I can't do anything but stand there.
Then one of the Yuias Sguali strikes Prince Roald and he falls down, screaming in pain.
Without knowing it, I jump into action, picking up the Prince's sword into my hand. The creatures eye me as if laughing and I scowl angrily. They don't think I can take them. Well they just watch.
With a scream I thrust magic in the blade before swinging it at the closest Yuias Sguali. It dies with a last hissing breath.
I kill another and another, their black blood pooling out across the sand. Even as they all are dead, I fall to the ground, bile clogging my throat.
"I knew you could do it." Prince Roald says. I stare up at him, my eyes blurry.
"Now come on," he says, smiling for a reason unknown to me. "Let's tend to those burns." Before helping me up and away from the dead Yuias Sguali. And even further away from my past life.
Yeah, so that's it. To tell you the truth, this story is killing me. I don't know how much longer it will go on, especially when school starts and I appsolutely have no time! I will try my best though, I promise! Also my mom wants me to type some of my original work. :D Thanks ever so much for being amazing!!
