A/n: Hi! I have decided to post this little part. I know it's short but I won't have time this week to write anything at all, so I thought it's better to post a small part then nothing at all, right? I'm in the middle of the horror known also as looking for a job – next interview is on Monday, so keep your fingers crossed for me, please. As always – comments, and corrects to all my mistakes are greatly appreciated.

So he waited.

The next day wasn't really that good either. Actually it wasn't good because they got a patient whose symptoms went from rare to definitely bizarre. So instead of thinking about seducing his young and very attractive subordinate, all his attention was concentrated on healing one grumpy middle aged and not so great looking guy from Nebraska who had decided to come to Princeton to have a stroke that led to the wild river of other not so fun symptoms, including vomiting, rectal bleeding and temporal loss of sight. At the beginning House thought that the case was lame but after four day of unresolved mystery and about five (at least) final diagnoses that appeared to be not so final, he was officially pissed! He started to snap at everyone and boy, even he could tell that it wasn't just his usual, full of finesse snark, but really heavy artillery, lacking of humor sarcasm. And then, when he was almost sure that he had lost his mojo, he found the answer or to be honest he was one of the two people who found the answer. The other one was of course Cameron. To be perfectly honest, House had to admit that she was the first one who suggested the right diagnosis and she stick with that long enough for him to actually verify that it was actually the right one. So after that House became pissed at himself even more then before. "How in hell could she see something before him!" was the main thought that occupied his mind. Of course there were those times when misanthropic son of a bitch played a good teacher and let his team to solve the puzzle on their own, but since that day he always knew the answer before them. Letting them to find the answer, it was a part of his game called "shaping the man", it was all for the sake of learning. Of course this could happen only in those rare occasions when their patient wasn't in the real danger of dying on the spot and could wait with the treatment for another couple of hours. But this has never happened before. This could meant one thing – that they (at least Cameron) were ready to leave the nest.

And House wasn't quite ready yet.
