A/N: Here are two 100 word drabbles that I wrote for Pack_100. I thought I might as well post them here:-) Reviews make me smile:) I have also written two more J/B drabbles between 100 and 500 words for bluesuzanne's (blueandblack's) second anonymous drabble contest at SortofBeautiful on LJ, in response to the prompt from now on our troubles will be miles away. I can only post them here after the contest is over, so look out for them sometime next year:-)

A Joyous Ally. (Prompt: Wind)

Nothing could compare to the pure exhilaration of running as a wolf. The feel of the hard earth vibrating beneath his pounding paws, his muscles bunching and releasing, pushing his powerful body forward, pointed ears twitching to the sounds of little animals scampering desperately. But best by far, Jacob thought, was the feel of the wind whipping through his thick rough fur, tangling it, ruffling it, running it through lithe fingers. For whilst the earth and animals surrendered quickly, subservient, the wind was a joyous ally, running alongside, whispering victoriously in his twitching ears, shouting his triumph to the skies.

Legends. (Prompt: Night Rider)

They would tell stories about them, legends, sitting around the crackling fire. Stories of the Protectors of Old, who guarded the forests and watched over the sleeping people of La Push. Stories of gleaming eyes and glinting teeth that would on occasion peer out from between the trees. Legends of strong young men who would disappear from their houses to the accompaniment of howls in the night and thundering of paws. And the older men would meet each other's eyes across the orange flames with a secretive smile, remembering the time when they too were riders of the night.

A/N: Review and tell me what you think! I'd like to know your favourite:-)
