History of persona 4: (received from wikipedia)

Persona 4 starts on April 11, 2011, placing the events of the game at about twelve months after the end of Persona 3 FES, which ended on April 1, 2010.

After moving into Inaba, the Protagonist quickly settles into the small town life, gaining friends at Yasogami High School. Shortly after his arrival, two people are found dead following a foggy night; a journalist accused of having an affair with a politician, and the high-school student that found her body. Those that watched the Midnight Channel claimed to have seen the victims prior to their deaths. The Protagonist reveals to his friends that he has the ability to enter television screens, and is able to bring them along. In the TV world, they encounter a thick, impenetrable fog, and they meet Teddie, named for his appearance of a hollow teddy bear suit, who explains that the victims had been there, and that when the fog in the TV world dissipates, they were met by Shadows, representing their repressed emotions. If the character in question rejects these emotions in denial, they are killed by their strengthened Shadow. The Protagonist's friends find Shadows of their own selves, but with the Protagonist's help, are able to defeat them and then accept their Shadow selves as part of them, granting them their own Persona, and find they can enter the TV world on their own.[6] The friends decide to form a team to solve the murder mystery, including Teddie, whose only initial interest is to get rid of the trespassers. Teddie also provides each member with a pair of glasses that allow them to see through the fog.

Over the next several months, after several incidents, the team discovers that those who appear on the Midnight Channel vanish in the real world a few days later. Each time, the team enters the TV world and saves the classmate from a twisted world of their own creation, helping them to defeat their Shadows. These students subsequently join the team. When a teacher from the school is found murdered in the same fashion as the first two victims, the team is able to find the apparent murderer, a fellow student, hiding in the TV world, but they quickly realize that he was a copycat killer, and the true suspect is still at large.

After receiving a mysterious note warning the Protagonist to stay off the case, the team deduces that Namatame, the one who had the affair with the murdered journalist, is the killer. Nanako appears on the Midnight Channel and is quickly abducted by Namatame, with Dojima injured trying to apprehend him in a car chase. The team enters the TV world, and, finding Nanako being held captive by a crazed Namatame, are able to rescue her; despite this, Nanako becomes seriously ill. Furthermore, a persistent fog begins to appear in the real world, behaving similarly to the fog from the TV world. When the team questions Namatame, they realize that he was responsible for all of the students' abductions to the TV world, claiming that he was "saving" them after they appeared on the Midnight Channel. At this point, the player may opt to end the game by deciding to kill Namatame by placing him inside the TV, on the group's justification that no court in the world would be able to convict him, but this will result in the "bad" ending, where Nanako's health does not significantly improve, Teddie returns alone to the Midnight Channel, and the fog remains persistent over Inaba when the Protagonist leaves the city after the year.

If the player decides to continue the game, the team rationalizes out the motives for Namatame's behavior, and realize he was not responsible for the first two murders. Instead, they determine the true culprit is Dojima's seemingly comedically inept partner in the police force, Tohru Adachi. On confronting him, Adachi admits he discovered the ability to enter the television after he tried to rape the first victim, the journalist, and accidentally pushed her into it; upon learning that she was found dead, he killed the next victim for sheer enjoyment. He then convinced Namatame to carry out his murders for him, capitalizing on his mistaken belief that the murders would be averted if the people were thrown into the television. Chasing Adachi into the TV world, the team finds that Adachi has been partially influenced by Ameno-Sagiri, a mysterious figure who was creating the fog. They destroy Ameno-Sagiri, but he promises to return. Ending the game at this point results in the "normal" ending, in which the town is saved, but questions about the origin of the Protagonist's powers and the Midnight Channel remain unanswered.

In the game's true ending, the Protagonist realizes that the "puppet master" behind the events was the goddess Izanami, who had disguised herself as a gas station attendant throughout the game. Izanami wishes to show humans their true desires, turning them all into Shadows, and covering the rest of the real world in fog as to merge the two worlds. The Midnight Channel was a reflection of the desire by TV viewers to see famous peoples' secrets exposed, while the TV world represents their inner feelings. The Protagonist, with the combined help of the investigation squad and the Social Links that he has built up, is able to defeat Izanami after transforming his original Persona Izanagi into Izanagi-no-Okami and defeating the goddess with a single blow. The Protagonist still leaves the town the next day, but under much happier circumstances: the fog has been lifted in the TV world, revealing a beautiful landscape that Teddie vows to protect, Nanako has fully recovered from her abduction, and the group plan to stay a group of close friends forever.

But our hero's time of peace and relaxation was to be shortly lived…..

Yuna Kazagiri

"Yuna!! Hurry up! I have to go to work."

"im sorry dad!"

I quickly ran down the stairs, grabbed my bag and headed outside to my fathers car.

I got in and he drove off.

"what took you so long?" he asked. Although I could tell he wasn't angry.

"im sorry father." I said, and I really was.

He reached over and gentle rubbed my head. My dad was the best father anyone could ask for.

My dad took me to school and everything pretty much went as normal.

When I got home, it was dark, I had gone out with a couple of friends and got back about 8:59. One Minute before cerfew.

"im home!" I announced.

Mom was cooking Spaghetti for dinner! Mom was great at making foreign food, and I grew to love Italian style spaghetti.

"Welcome home Yuna." Mom said with a smile.

"wheres dad?" I asked.

"hes in the dojo with a friend. Go tell him dinners done please?"

I ran over to the stove and tried a spoonful of the sauce, it was delicious! So I ran to hurry and get dad so we could eat. Little did I know, that was the last time I would taste moms cooking…

"Dad! Come eat!" I shouted as I ran into the dojo, what I saw horrified me..

Dad was hanging at the end of a naginata.. with the blade in his chest, holding it was a man with short, gray hair. He swung his weapon around and sent my father into the wall.

I tried yelling out, but my mom covered my mouth, picked me up and ran outside. I managed to get my mouth free once we was running down the block.

"Mom!! Dad, He's-!"

Mom suddenly stopped, and told me to hide. She gave me a stern look, so I decided to listen. I went somewhere and hid nearby.

When I peaked over to what mom was looking at, I saw another man, carrying a scythe over his shoulder.

They were speaking, but I couldnt hear.. after a few minutes the man walked past mom.. he didn't stop either, he just kept walking.. while mom stood completely still..

I thought everything was fine, but just as I was about to come out of hiding, mom…….her head fell off…….it was a clean cut…

I don't wanna remember this……I don't wanna dream about it..

Tears ran down my cheek…I kept hoping that this was a dream, and that id soon wake up……

To this day….i still have awoken..

Thusday, December 6th, 2012

"Yuna, wake up!" I heard someone say while shaking me.

I sat up slowly. And looked up at the person. It was My grandfather, Nero Kuruigi, who I had been staying with since that day.

"its time for you to go to Ryotaro's house to housesit with Nanako." He said.

For someone who was 54 years old, my grandfather looked pretty young, he looked like he was in his early 30's and didn't have a single gray hair on him.

After the incident, I came to live with my grandfather, and hes been so awesome. Hes also asked me to stay at his friends house with his daughter, until her father came home. Her name was Nanako, she was 8, although she seemed like she could take care of the house just fine without me. I think it was to cheer me up, and so nanako wouldn't be so lonely.

I got up and got dressed, I decided to wear a sweater and and sweatpants. Nothing special.

When I was ready, just before I had left, my grandfather reminded me,

"You start school at Yasogami high tomorrow. So make sure u rest up tonight."

I nodded and left. It was a quiet trip, I took the bus to the house, it was quiet here in the country, always quiet.

But maybe quiet was just what I needed.. since then, ive been nothing but a shadow of my former self.

When I approached the house, Mr. Dojima was leaving.

"Hey, Yuna. How are you feeling this morning" he asked with a smile.

"Im fine.." I responded.

He got into his car and drove off as I walked into the house.

When I got in, Nanako was on the phone with a big smile on her face.

"Yours all coming over? Really?! Yay!!... ok, ill be waiting Yukiko-chan!" she said before she hung up.

Then she ran to me with a smile. "Yuna-chan! My friends are coming over in a few minutes!"

Her friends? I hope these kids were good… I love kids, but only the cute and well-behaved ones, like Nanako.

"That's great Nanako" I told her.

"Yeah!, so what do you wanna do while we wait…?" she asked.

Then the phone rang again. I answered this time.

"hello?"

"Is Nanako there?"

"who is this?"

"its her brother."

Brother? Nanako had a brother??

I gave nanako the phone.

Nanako Dojima

"Hello?"

"Hey Nanako, its Seta"

"BIG BRO?!"

"Yea. How are you? I haven't heard from you since I left."

"im great!"

"good, is uncle there?"

"no, he just left."

"your by yourself?"

"no, Yuna-chan is here! And yoskue and the others are coming over."

"oh, really?"

Yuna Kazagiri

There was a knock from the door, so I went to answer it.

I slid the door open and I saw a tall man with bleached gray hair standing above me, he had a scar on the corner of his forhead, he looked down at me and gave ma e creapy "yo!"

He chose the wrong house to try to rob, my dad practiced Karate and taichi with my father since I was 12. I stepped back and made a fist, and the lunged forward to hit him in his gut with all the power I had, just before it connected, some brow haired idiot popped his head in throught the door.

"Hey N-" WHAM!!!

That blow sent him spiraling backward into the snow, and even when he hit the groud he slid back a few feet. K.O.

The big gut moved out the way, I there was more of them. 5 of them all together, and if the guy I socked was unconscious, then I guess it would be 4.

Nanako came to running to my side with the phone in her hand.

"yosuke?! What happened?"

"ngh………..ugh…." was all he could mumble.

"wow, I don't even think chie-senpai hits him that hard." The big guy said.

"who are you guys?" I asked them.

Nanako tucked at my sleeve. "These are my friends Yuna-chan!"

Ooops…
