Chapter 2

"um…….are you ok? Im really sorry.." I apologized to Yosuke. "I didn't know you were family friends."

"Its ok, Yosuke is just a big baby." Chie said.

"Easy for you to say! You didn't get hit in the face! That really hurt damn it!" Yosuke cried out with an ice pack on his left cheek.

Earlier on I was introduced to Nanako's friends. I had Mistook one of them for a kidnapper or something, and then accidentally knocked Yosuke unconscious.

"wait, shouldn't you all be in school?" I asked them.

The big, thug looking one, Kanji, answered my questions. "We have off today. We don't know why, but why should we complain?"

I looked around to see if Nanako was ok, she was by the t.v., playing a game with the blond that called himself Teddie, weird name, in my opinion. I guess he was cute though, he had golden blond hair with pure blue eyes, but the outfit he was wearing looked like he was going to a dance. The the doorbell rang, Nanako went to get it.

Teddie scooted over to the table with me and the others.

"I miss Yuki-chan already…" he said sadly.

"Yuki-chan?" I asked.

"Our friend, she had to leave with her mother yesterday… issues between her parents." Chie explained.

"oh…im sorry." I said.

"Oh! I just remembered, I had a gift for Nanako from Yukiko." Yosuke said as he looked around. "Where is she?"

I looked around and I didn't see her, now that I thought about it, she didn't come back from answering the door. Everyone was thinking the same thing I was and we all ran to the door, it was wide open, snow falling inside and melting onto the floor. We ran outside into the snow and looked around.

"Nanako-chan!!!" Naoto called out.

"Calm down, shes right here." I voice came from behind us.

We all turned around to see a hooded man standing in our living room, with nanako in his arms. "You want her? Come get her." He said as he jumped into the tv.

Wait, he jumped into the Tv???

"What just happened?!" I asked them, but they ignored me.

"No! This wont happen again!" Yosuke shouted.

Kanji ran for the tv. "Come on senpai!" and then jumped in.

"Wait! We don't know where this leads!" Teddie said.

"Relax, we have you with us! Besides, we don't have time to worry about that! Come on!" chie said as she dragged Teddie into the tv with her, Naoto followed.

Yosuke was about to jump in himself but I stopped him. "I don't know whats going on! But take me with you!"

"No, we cant, its too dangerous, stay here." He said as he jumped in.

"NO!" I grabbed onto his ankle and was pulled in with him.

Yosuke Hanamura

I fell down on me head, then I fell onto my back and grabbed my skull in pain.

"Senpai! Get serious!" Kanji said.

"Yeah, like I really meant to bash my skull!" I said as I looked around.

When I looked behind me, I saw Yuna there, unconscious!

"What's she doing here?!" Chie said.

"I don't know! She must have followed me!"

Yuna Kazagiri

When I opened my eyes, I was in complete darkness.

"Yuna Kazagiri…" I heard a voice say.

A Woman wrapped in light appeared infront of me, she had very light blond hair and Sky blue eyes, she wore a white robe too.

"uh….who are you?"

"I am the goddess of light, Cosmos."

"Cosmos? Where are we?

In your mind…

"My mind? What are you doing here then…?"

"You are my reincarnation, ant it is time that I awoken your powers, you will need them in the trials to come."

"What….?"

I was confused… I was a reincarnation of a goddess? There's no way…not possible.

"It is possible, very possible. That is why you are here."

She read my mind?

"yes I can read your mind because me and you are one in the same. We share a body, a mind, but not a spirit."

Two souls in one body?

"Yes."

"Would you quit reading my thoughts!"

"You must wake up now, very soon you will see what I mean by trials, and I will help guide you."

"Hold on! You still-" I was cut off when I woke up in a field of grass.

Yosuke and the others were infront of me, they were staring down the man that took Nanako, He had short silver hair, with a scar across his face, over his shoulder he held a Naginata.(if you want a picture of what it looks like, think about Izanagi's weapon in his first form.) He looked familier, especially the cloak he was wearing.

"Take the girl, I no longer have a use for her, I accomplished my mission." He said as he shoved Nanako toward Naoto. She was unconscious.

"What Mission?!" Yosuke asked him.

"To bring you all to this world, so I can kill you all!" he said. "Who's first?"

Kanji ran at him with a Chair and swung at him, but he jumped back and tripped Kanji, then held the blade to his throat, but Chie jumped in the air and tried and axe kick on the cloaked man, but he raised his weapon and blocked it, he pushed chie back and then grabbed Kanji by the neck. Without a shed of effort, he tossed Kanji into chie, knocking them both back toward me.

"Go! Susano-o!" yosuke said as he cut a card that appeared infront of him. "Panta rhei!"

A huge gust of wind surrounded The cloaked man, his eyes told that he was caught off guard. Then the winds got more violent and they completely covered Yosuke's target. When they cleared, the man's cloak was shredded a bit, and he had cuts over him.

"hahaha, finally, someone lands a hit." He chuckled, then he shoved the end of his spear (the blunt side) into Yosuke's stomach and then kneed him in the chin. Yosuke fell onto his back and tried to get up, but the cloaked man stomped onto his chest repeatedly.

"But is that all you have? Pathetic."

He looked more familier by the second…

"I cant kill any of you… not now, your all too weak." He said as he walked off.

His weapon… that intimidating smile of his…..now I remember!

THE MAN WHO KILLED MY FATHER!!!

Yosuke Hanamura

"YOU BASTAAAARD!!!!!!!!!" I heard Yuna shout.

When I sat up and looked toward her direction, she made a huge bow and arrow of light from scratch. Her eyes glowed sky blue and she was crying.

She pulled back on the bow, the father she pulled, the bigger the arrow got.

I stood up slowly, although it was hard because of the pain in my stomach.

"Yuna-san?" I called her name silently. But she couldn't hear me even if I spoke up, she had one thing in mind, and that was to kill the guy who kicked my ass.

She finally let go of the bow and at the speed of light, and I mean literally, at the speed of light, faster than the eye can see, the arrow of light shot across the Field, and completely took off the cloaked mans right arm!

He shouted in pain and covered the spot where is arm used to be, he turned around and looked at Yuna with shocked eyes. "Wow, you did quite a bit of damage. You are…..Yuna. Right? I remember you. Nice to see you again."

Yuna pulled back another arrow.

"Silence!" she said. Her voice echo'd in a god like fashion.

she shot the arrow again, this time the man dodged it and and Used a skill, "Thunder Reign!"

I huge ball off lighting appeared above yuna, but before it could burst into a wave of electricity, Yuna formed a shield of light above her, defending herself.

"In case you want to know the name of the man who killed your poor old dad. I am Hayate of The emperor Arcana, Number III of the Arcanum XIII." He said as his arm grew back and he charged at Yuna.

Yuna created a sword of light and deflected Hayate's blow, and then swung the sword at his legs, but he jumped over it and slammed his naginata downward, she rolled out the way and the blow knocked dust up from the ground.

"Who knew it would be this fun? Im glad me and Lord Aizen let you live, You seem to be as entertaining as that Akechi kid." Hayate said.

Yuna just glared at him more intensly, but she had an expressionless face. Those eyes, they were normal, those sky blue eyes were so light, you almost couldn't see them.

The sword wrapped around her hands and became gauntlets, then Yuna punched the ground, rocks shot upward toward Hayate's direction until he was knocked upwards by one, then Yuna jumped from rock to rock, using it as a way to get up to Hayate, then she attacked him in the air, with a left, then right hook, followed by a kick upward, but then he grabbed her ankle, swung her around like some kind of flail and threw her toward the ground. Then he chased after he with his Naginata in hand.

"Look out!" chie said. But yuna was already prepared.

She landed on her feet like it was nothing, even tho it may have been a 40 feet fall. Then she looked upward and blocked the attack that had followed.

Then Yuna put her palm against Hayate's chest, After that a quick burst of light came from her hand and Hayate was knocked upward again. But before he got too high, she grabbed his ankle and slammed him into the ground.

"Im not done with you yet! HAAAAAAARGH!!!" She shouted as she slammed her fist into his stomach, and a bigger burst of light came from the sky and shot down on both of them, bringing them both out of sight.

Such power…..who is this girl? A persona user?

No, being a persona user doesn't give you THAT kind of strength.

The light disappeared and Yuna was standing up.

"……Be a man and fight me yourself, instead of using clones that only share a small amount of your full strength." She said as she turned to see Hayate standing behind her.

For the first time since I saw the guy, the cool smile on his face disappeared. "Your no human….what are you? You fight kind of like us.."

"I said fight, Shadow!" Yuna shouted as she jumped and Hayate and tried to punch him, but he caught her fist and held her in place.

"Shadow? Don't call us that, we are no different then that blond over there." He said looking at Teddie In the corner of his eye. "Sure I may have been a shadow at one time, but im human now," He grabbed onto yuna's wrist, spun around and tossed her. "I even got a persona to prove it! Go, Ame-no-Koyane!"

His persona jumped out of his body and chaged at Yuna, it had the appearance of an Emperor on a horse with a spear in hand.

The persona got closer and closer to yuna and as soon as it tried to stab her, she grew wings of pure light and flew up into the air. Then she formed another Bow into her hands and fired at Hayate but as soon as she shot the arrow it split into four arrows and rained down on Hayate at once, he jumped out the way and the arrows hit the ground, knocking up dirt.

Almost as fast as the arrows shot down at hayate, Yuna constantly fired more, arrows kept raining down on Hayate but he always jumped out the way in time.

"Whew, if this keeps up, I might actually be in trouble." He said. "No more holding back, you want my full strength, you got it! You get to see what happens when a Member of the Arcanum XIII releases the shadow side of them."

"I thought you were no longer a shadow."

"Im not, but I still have my old powers, get ready."

His persona disappeared and blinding light emanated from his body. Yuna Flew back down to the ground gently, but kept her wings out.

When the light calmed down, Hayate was wearing Armor that look like it was suited for a Dark Knight, but carried a huge claymore (Giant blade) on his back and his Naginata in his hands, it was transformed too, the blade was longer. And now had blades at each end, instead of just one.

"Time to get atleast a little serious, ill play with you a little longer, but once this blade on my back comes off, its all over. Just giving you a heads up!" he said and then he ran at Yuna with greater speed than he had before, he swung the naginata at Yuna, light gauntlets appeared on her hands again and she blocked the blow, but the force in this blow was greater, and although she blocked the attack, it still knocked her back. He then spun his weapon around and attacked her with the other bladed end, she blocked that too, but once again was knocked off guard, then Hayate spun around, swinging his weapon at her everytime her turned. Yuna remained alert and blocked all the blows as much as she could. Hayate finished the attack by spinning once more after jumping into the air, then he got low and swung the blade at Yuna, this blow connected and made a cut in her abdomen. (Where the muscles in front of your stomach are, you know, The "six pack?" those.) but not deep enough to make it a serious wound. Yuna jumped back and covered her wound. Then she flew into the air, but Hayate jumped after her, grabbed her head and covered his face with her palm and then electricity electrified her. She managed to kick him off and land on the ground, he landed a few feet infront of her.

She stood up and looked at him.

"Time for the Finale," he said, he grabbed the blade on his back, and the moment I blinked he was behind her, in a position that he says he swung the blade. "……just as I promised, the moment I drew the blade, it was over." He stood up and light flashed from him again, then he was in his normal form. (if you wanted to know what his shadow awakened form looked like, I guess you can just picture it being similar to Cecil's dark knight form in dissidia.)

Yuna stood there and then suddenly feel, when I ran over to her I saw she had a huge gash across her chest.

"Ill spare the rest of you, because I had fun. Be happy for her, she can now see her father again." he said "Good-bye, im sure we will meet again." He disappeared into a quick flash of darkness.

Naoto, teddie and the rest ran over to me and Yuna.

"She's torn up bad." I told them.

"What do we do senpai?" Kanji asked.

"ill try to help!" Teddie said. "Kamu- huh?" he paused the summoning and stared at Yuna with shocked eyes.

"What is i-" I was cut off myself as I looked down saw that the gash in her chest was closing up, fast!

"w-what the hell is going on!?" Chie said in amazement and a bit of fear.

Yuna slowly opened her eyes when the wounds were closed completely, she used her elbows to sit herself up a bit and looked around at us.

"What? Where are we? Why are you staring at me like that…." She said, the tone in her voice said she was really clueless. We all couldn't do anything but stare at her, what could we say after all that?

"Stop it….its creepy…" She looked down to see her shirt was cut open and her chest was showing. She blushed and covered up.

"Hey! Stop staring! Your all perverts!"

Even though I noticed it, I wasn't staring at that, I was too shocked about what just happened. Her eyes were back to the normal color. Hazel.

"wait, how did my shirt get torn o-" she got quiet, looked down again, and saw her shirt was not only torn open from Hayate's attack, but it was soaked in blood. Her blood.

She screamed. "WHAT?! WHAT HAPPENED?! WHY AM I COVERED IN BLOOD!?"

What could I say after everything I had seen today? How do we explain?

Finished!! I hope everyone was pleased with the fight scene in this one, I know all my action scenes have been a bit disappointing in NGSEES. And I apologize for that.
