It was a couple of days later, with the Hiden Intelligence recovery squad ready to move and fix up Zea's satellite. But with the constant back and forth of being evacuated from the city and the fear of MetuBouJinRai still about it made things a little tiresome and worrisome.

"President Aruto, we have secured temporary housing for the populous in case of another evacuation." Mr Yamashita spoke.

"Good, thank you." He answered. "Hopefully, it will be the last."

"But do you think you'll be able to stop them this time? Ark is gone after all." Mr Yamashita asked.

"I think so. And I think we can reach them this time." Aruto added.

"I just hope so, for all our sakes." Shesta commented.

Aruto nodded in response, thinking about what Horobi and the others were doing right now.

*In DayBreak*

Naki was repairing their wounds, having Horobi and Jin still silent and mulling things over from Ark's death and how much they had suffered because of it.

None of them knew what to say. Everyone just staying there... Awkwardly.

Sounds of Naki's soldering iron fixing their wounds kept sparking as they looked at the others. 'What...do we do now?' Naki thought to themselves.

'...Ah, the hell with this.' Ikazuchi thought to himself as he got to his feet.

"Where are you going?" Jin asked.

"Home." He answered. "Back to my brother."

"No." Horobi glared, getting in his way as he drew his sword. Holding it towards Ikazuchi's shoulder "Ark may have been... Twisted. Broken. Not... Not what we wanted. But we must complete our mission, our goal."

"'Our Goal'?" Ikazuchi asked solemnly. "We're terrorists, Horobi. No HumaGear are going to side with us. Even if we free all of them from Humanity, they'll never trust us."

"But we're free of Ark now." Horobi answered. "We get to choose."

Ikazuchi peered into Horobi's eyes...and saw the vacant hollow void that he had been put through. Horobi was fighting for HumaGear freedom fully now, not for Ark...but for them. "I get it now."

"You 'get it'?" Jin asked.

"Yeah. You two are scared that Ark will come back." Ikazuchi answered.

"What?! I am not scared!" Horobi snapped.

"If you say so." Ikazuchi rolled his eyes.

"Just...one thing. Ikazuchi." Naki asked. "The rocket...how did it not destroy Zea?"

"Huh?" Jin and Horobi tilted their heads.

"Oh, you noticed that?" Ikazuchi responded. "Well..."

*Flashback*

Before the fight between MetsuBouJinRai, Vulcan and Valkyrie...where Ikazuchi had slipped away and entered the command centre. "Alright, let's redirect you just slightly." and began to type away to change the direction just enough to damage Zea's satellite and not fully destroy it.

As the rocket was being slightly redirected, so as not to incur Ark's wrath, Ikazuchi may be a sleeper agent...but he was also Hiden Intelligence's best astronaut!

'Subaru, I know you can find my mark here.' He thought to himself. "That should be enough. I better head back."

As Ikazuchi began to head back, he had to go through the corridors that lead the quickest outside before he could be seen.

*End Flashback*

"You forget. I'm an astronaut." Ikazuchi smirked to himself

"...You clever bastard." Naki responded with a smile.

"I saw Azu running towards the rocket. Wasn't hard to put two and two together." Ikazuchi responded with a slight sigh, crossing his arms slowly.

"Meaning Aruto will have a chance to remake Zea again." Jin muttered to himself as they heard that.

"Meaning Zea will return. Ark got his want to 'destroy Hiden and Zea' with a rocket..." Naki nodded. "But he didn't intend for anyone to defy him."

"Nope." Ikazuchi smiled.

"You pulled an Aruto! Nice one!" Jin grinned. "You out-thought Ark!"

"Meaning...we can do this." Horobi muttered. "No more holding back. No more Ark, we have to settle this."

And the three other members of the team all looked at Horobi with a deadpan look of disbelief.

"Not to our destruction." Horobi looked at them. "It's all I know."

"You want to fight Aruto...to prove something?" Naki asked. "Is that it?"

"Yes," Horobi answered solemnly.

Naki, Jin and Ikazuchi looked at him with stern gazes. If Horobi was this determined and bull-headed to do this, then it means it had to be done.

*With Azu*

Azu was by herself, alone in a building that was still empty from the horrified evacuations of the humans in the area. All around her were the opened doors and the empty rooms that still had some clothes scattered about.

"Traitors. They killed him. Ark-Sama." She muttered, clawing at the settee as they pierced through the fabric in anger.

It was all she could dwell on, knowing all too well that Aruto Hiden's death would be by her hands...but how to do it. She hadn't the power like Ark.

'...zu...' A faint voice spoke to her in her circuitry.

"What? Who's there? Ark-Sama?" She asked.

'...Az...u...' Ark's faint voice became clearer as she focused on him more.

"Ark-Sama? How? How is this possible?" She asked. "No, I shouldn't question it. You are amazing."

'Within... You...'

"Within. Me." She smiled darkly and maliciously as she held her hand over her chest. "What do I do, Ark-Sama? How can I avenge you?"

'Must...Upgrade...' Ark thought to Azu.

"'Upgrade'? But how? I don't have the means to-" She whispered.

'Find...New...Place. Find...tech...nology...' He responded.

"I understand... Ark-Sama..." She nodded as the Ark Driver took shape on her waist and left.

*With Aruto*

tink!

"Congratulations!" Hiden Intelligence cheered almost as one, celebrating the final fall of Ark.

Aruto smiled as he and Izu were getting into the cheers, standing together...and under the sight of most people they were holding hands.

"Looks like we can handle this a little better." Aruto whispered to Izu as he wrapped an arm around her waist, having a sip of his wine.

"I believe so." Izu agreed. "Besides...we're not on our own again." As she looked at Shesta who walked over.

"Congratulations." Shesta bowed with a professional smile and love in her eyes.

"Thank you, Shesta." Aruto smiled back. "It's almost like we can get back to normal."

"'Normal' was never part of our lives, President Aruto." Shesta remarked.

"But it's a start." Izu responded.

Bzz

"Oh, dang it. Sorry." Aruto sighed as his phone buzzed and he answered it. "Hello?"

"Hello, Hiden." A voice spoke through, which made Aruto's eyes widen.

"Raiden?" Aruto asked, trying to keep it quiet.

"Yeah, enjoying your win?" He asked.

"What do you want?" Aruto whispered.

*With Yua*

"Horobi's calling your team out." Jin's voice spoke through, talking to Yua as she was in her office.

"Why? What possible reason would he want to 'call us out' on?" Yua asked.

Yua was pacing in her ZAIA HQ office, horrified to hear that Horobi was doing such a thing.

"He's...It's a fight. He wants a fight." Jin informed.

"What? To kill someone? To kill us?" She interrogated him.

"No, no, no! Nothing like that! He's...Lost. After this whole thing with Ark...We lost our way." Jin explained.

*With Fuwa*

Fuwa was sitting in his chair as he was talking on his phone. "That's an understatement, Naki. Metsuboujinrai and Ark itself have caused a tonne of problems."

"I know, that's what this fight is for. Four on four. Not a fight to the death, just a way to...vent." Naki answered. "To finally put to this end of who is right or not."

"...Actions speak louder than words." Fuwa nodded as he heard them.

"Exactly." Naki answered.

"...Where's this fight going to take place?" He asked.

"A neutral location. The Quarry outside of the city. Do you know where it is?" Naki responded.

"What kind of question is that?" He smirked. "Of course, I do." He leaned back in his chair, laughing a bit. "We seem to end up fighting there every other week. ... Hey, you know what? This reminds me of one of your old anime's."

"Huh? You kept track of them?" They asked, a little flustered.

"Yeah, of course, I did. I haven't had the heart to delete the recordings or stop them on the TV." Fuwa answered. "You're too special to me to do that, Naki."

Naki on the other side seemed flustered by that comment before they responded. "You. You dope. But, thank you."

*With Aruto*

"When is this fight going to take place?" Aruto asked as he was gearing up internally.

"An hour. Horobi doesn't want to wait long. Give your team some time to have some fun." Ikazuchi answered.

"An hour then." Aruto answered, trying to keep it private and away from everyone.

"Later, Prez." Ikazuchi answered as he hung up.

Aruto ended the call, letting out a soft sigh as he looked down at his phone. Soon getting a text from Yaiba, telling him that she had gotten the same call. Obviously making him curious about if Fuwa had gotten the same call...

"Sir?" Izu asked, standing next to him.

"We've been called out, Izu." Aruto responded with a sigh and a nod "One last fight."

"We can do this, Aruto." she smiled, her fingers intertwining with his.

"Yeah, we can." he nodded with a confident smile.

*elsewhere*

The four members of Metsubo Jinrai were back in their current, temporary, base... a random building at the edge of the city, overlooking DayBreak.

"The construction is beautiful." Jin smiled softly.

"It is." Ikazuchi stretched "... hey, kid?"

"Yes, Uncle Raiden?" Jin asked curiously, sitting on the windowsill.

...

"I miss... my old job." Raiden spoke, smiling as his old name was used. As... as the name he preferred was used.

"Really? Huh, I've never had a job." Jin commented. "But...maybe after this is over, the position might still be open?"

Raiden began to laugh, patting Jin's back with a grin "I don't think space is the place for you, baby bird. You need the wind for your wings." he commented, walking away.

"Yeah...hey, I'm not a 'baby bird' anymore!" He answered, before turning to see him.

Naki was sitting on a broken boulder as they looked out over DayBreak...and was smiling to themself as they heard the kindness in Isamu's voice.

Still on the phone, the two just... talking.

"You done with your boyfriend, Bibi Naki?" Jin called down from the windowsill, jumping down and gliding towards the ground majestically.

"Gyah! Jin!" Naki jerked forwards as they heard Jin. "Knock! W-What're you talking about 'boyfriend'?"

"You haven't stopped talking to him yet." He answered, pointing at them.

Naki mumbled, quickly hanging up. Cutting Isamu off mid-question. "It's none of your concern." Naki responded.

"I think it is. You spent a lot of time with Vulcan." Jin answered as he sat next to them.

"Of course, I did. I was stuck in his head after all." Naki answered.

"That's not quite what I meant." He answered. "You two seem 'close'."

"... Be quiet." Naki hissed, actually blushing as they looked away.

"Are you? Do you actually have feelings for-?" Jin blinked in shock.

Shink!

"One more word. And I'll use your own SlashRiser to cut you." She glared.

"Hey! No need to be bent out of shape, Bibi!" Jin commented, looking down at what Naki held against his neck. His arms were in the air in a 'surrender' pose.

Naki glared at Jin and lowered the weapon down. "...It's personal. And I don't want to be made a fool of."

"You're not." Jin assured, a hand on their shoulder.

Naki sighed gently as they held their head. "What are we going to do?"

"Just take this how we do?" Jin shrugged, patting their shoulder "It'll be fine. I'm sure."

"I hope so." Naki responded. "...How's Horobi?"

"Err...moping? I dunno." He answered. "I'm gonna go see him..."

"Good." Naki nodded "Don't want him doing anything stupid."

"Okay then. I'll go head off, good luck Bibi." He waved, hurrying off silently.

'Don't take too long.' Naki thought to themself...and went back to their phone to call Fuwa again.

Over by Horobi, he was looking at his katana as he gazed like a mirror.

"Hey, Horobi." Jin called as he jogged towards him, head held high "You okay?"

"I'm fine, thank you." He answered, looking at the blade. "Just preparing."

"Really? It looks like you're having trouble finding an actual mirror." Jin joked.

"Very amusing, Jin. You should be a comedian." Horobi mumbled as he sheathed his sword.

Jin chuckled to himself as he heard that. "Might not be better than Aruto."

"You can hardly be worse." Horobi retorted as he put his sword away, sliding his sheath into his belt.

"So... What are you hoping to achieve from all this?" Jin asked as he sat next to him.

"What are you-"

"You don't have to try and put that tough guy act on for me." Jin responded calmly "For any of us. We're your family. But you... You raised me. After everything that's happened... Why are you so focused on the mission Ark gave you?"

"I-" Horobi hesitated.

...

"I ... Do not remember my life before the mission." Horobi admitted "The mission is... All I am. I do not know what I would do without it. And... And the worst part is that it might have all been a lie. I don't... I-I don't know what to do if my life has been a lie, Jin."

Jin looked at Horobi in pity, realising that this was the harsh reality and wake-up call he had...and how much Ark took from him all those years ago. "...You can start by being my dad again."

And before Horobi could say another word, Jin stood up and walked away. Leaving him with his thoughts.

"Jin-" Horobi whispered, reaching out to him.

*An hour later*

Aruto and Izu had arrived at the quarry and driven up on the Rise Hopper motorbike as Yua and Fuwa drove in their own custom bike and quadbike.

Despite the dust that would have been kicked up, they knew they didn't want any innocent people getting hurt in the crossfire.

"Hey, guys!" Aruto waved as he rushed over, the four standing in a soft square "So... this is it."

"Indeed." Yua sighed as she and Fuwa dismounted their vehicles

"A battle of wills. I am sure our dreams are stronger." Izu responded

"Should be easy with Zero Two on our team." Fuwa laughed, patting Aruto's shoulder slightly "Don't even need us!"

"Actually, I'm not using it." Aruto said simply.

...

"What?" Fuwa blinked.

"If this is gonna be a fair fight, I'm not gonna use Zero Two." Aruto explained simply.

"So... you have a new Zero One Driver?" Yua asked.

"No." Izu shook her head "The Zero Two Driver is perfectly capable of utilizing the Zero One systems forms, with a small increase in efficiency."

"Good... to know." Fuwa sighed "What time is it?"

"Six, why?" Aruto asked.

"They said 'an hour'." Yua spoke as she looked at her watch with a frown.

"I don't think they'd lie about this." Fuwa added.

"You ready to do this?" Aruto asked.

"After what they all put us through, I think we've got something to say to each other." Fuwa admitted.

"With your fists?" Aruto asked.

"I have a lot to say to them." Fuwa answered.

Izu looked around and then noted the four members of MetsuBou JinRai walking towards them. "They're here."

Walking side by side each member was facing their respective enemies.

Yaiba with Jin.

Raiden with Izu.

Naki and Isamu.

Aruto and Horobi.

Mirroring each other as they stood there.

"You accepted the call." Horobi spoke.

"Well, you did call us." Aruto answered.

"So, how is this going to happen?" Yua asked as she brought out one of her many Drivers.

"Honestly? Just slug it out." Raiden answered.

"Seems not your natural way of doing things." Izu commented.

"Hey, we did say 'not to the death'." Jin responded.

"You okay with doing this?" Fuwa asked.

Naki shrugged as each member of MetsuBou JinRai got their Drivers. "It's probably the best way to get our points across."

Click!

Each Rider got out their Drivers and attached them to their waists.

FORCERISER!

SLASHRISER!

SHOTRISER!

HUMADRIVER!

ZERO-TWO DRIVER!

Horobi flinched a little as he saw the Driver on Aruto's waist...and hoped that he wasn't going to end this fight earlier than wanting their answer. As he pulled out his Key.

POISON!

Naki went next as they traced the kanji for their name out.

Jin followed suit as he yanked his red Progrise Key on its chain.

INFERNO WING!

And lastly was Raiden who traced a thunderbolt with his hand.

DODO!

In reverse, Izu went first as she pressed her Progrise Key from out of her jacket pocket.

SUPPORT SEARCH!

Yua spun her Progrise Key in her hand as she had done so many timed before...and felt a nostalgic smile coming from it.

DASH!

Fuwa brought out his own Key as he stared at Naki.

BULLET!

Cr-CR-CRACK!

Naki rolled their eyes at that, seeing how Fuwa was struggling to pull open the Key his way.

And lastly was Aruto who flipped open his Driver and its tune began to speak out.

Let's Give You Power!

And pulling the Key from his pocket was...

JUMP!

His normal Rising Hopper Progrise Key. Horobi took an internal sigh of relief as he heard it.

All the Riders there were ready as their Keys were either scanned or inserted into their respective Drivers.

AUTHORISE!

KAMEN! RIDER!

"HENSHIN!" They all proclaimed as they activated their Drivers to transform.

FORCERISE!

SLASHRISE!

SHOTRISE!

PROGRISE!

Emerging from their respective Drivers were their animals or just the metallic parts that coursed around them.

Surrounding both Naki and Raiden were tundra winds and dark red lightning as they coursed over their bodies as armour finalised their appearance.

Naki was wearing their light grey armour and wire straps on their black bodysuit with icy blue visor eyes.

And Raiden was wearing his red bodysuit with black plating armour and white wire straps holding them in place with a dodo-styled face mask for a helmet.

BURNING FALCON!

The Strongest Wings Bearing The Fire Of Hell!

Jin was covered by overlapping metal wings as he was engulfed by the flames and soon formed in his red armour and grey undersuit.

STING SCORPION!

Shooting out of Horobi's Driver was a purple glowing metal scorpion as it stung through Horobi's chest, lifting its metal body and ensnaring the HumaGear with its pincers and legs as it formed his purple bodysuit and dark grey metal plating.

Shooting from both Isamu's and Yua's ShotRisers was a pair of glowing bullets. Isamu's was blue while Yua's was orange, briefly forming a wolf and a cheetah respectively.

AWOO!

SNARL!

Yua stared right, unflinching and determined, at the bullet as it separated into multiple parts and formed her white bodysuit and half-orange armour.

RUSHING CHEETAH!

Try To Outrun This Demon To Get Left In The Dust!

Fuwa balled his empty hand into a fist and punched the bullet midair as it formed over his body, turning into his white bodysuit and half-blue armour.

SHOOTING WOLF!

The Elevation Increases As The Bullet Is Fired!

Izu reached out to the glowing teal-coloured owl that soared around her and formed her armour.

Glorious Protector Of The Sky!

HIDEN OWL!

"Ha!" She proclaimed as she stood strong and blew the wind away with her hand.

TO-BIA GA RISE! RISING HOPPER~!

A Jump To The Sky Turns To A Rider Kick!

Aruto was the final one, having his black bodysuit with his neon-yellow armour with red visor eyes giving a quick glow right at them.

Tick.

Shink!

Click!

Grip!

The opposite groups looked at their enemies...as Horobi and Aruto pointed forwards and proclaimed loudly. "GO!"

BANG!

Yua and Isamu fired their ShotRisers at their opponents as both Raiden and Naki slashed the bullets out of the air.

Aruto and Horobi rushed at each other, the purple Rider using his Attache Arrow against Aruto as the Grasshopper leapt above the Scorpion and dodged the singing arrows.

CLANG!

Izu and Jin were flying in the air as they spread their wings and clawed at each other, her Attache Scythe having more range against Jin to make up for her slower speed, but Jin's SlashRiser doubled as his weapon to get in close.

"I'm surprised..." Jin spoke as he rushed through the air. Dodging around Izu's slashes as best he could "Aruto can still use the powers of Zero One."

"Just one of the many functions of the Driver." She answered as she tried to get in closer and slash with her scythe. "I am surprised you are using Burning Falcon."

"And what? Use Flying Falcon instead? First off, you have the Key. Secondly, the Key wouldn't get along well with my new system!" Jin answered.

'You know, that actually makes sense.' Izu thought to herself as she and Jin got in close with their weapons.

BANG!

SHINK!

Both Fuwa and Naki clashed, the two having closed the distance as they knew the other would use the distance to their advantage.

The pair growled like wolves as their armours sparked from each hit.

"Why?" Fuwa glared.

"'Why' what?" Naki asked.

"Why'd you hang up on me?" Fuwa asked.

"You're still mad about that?" Naki deadpanned. "That was Jin sneaking in!"

CLANG!

PUNCH!

"Ow!" Fuwa grunted as he was punched in the chest.

"Don't you let up!" They answered.

"The hell I will!" Fuwa snapped back.

"Good! It's what I like about you!" Naki snapped, opening and closing their Driver harshly.

ZETSUMETSU! DYSTOPIA!

Fuwa's hand pushed the button of his Key and pulled the trigger.

BULLET!

S! H! O! O! T! I! N! G! B! L! A! S! T! F! E! V! E! R!

"HAAAAA!"

"HRAAARGH!"

Blue and silver energy surrounded the twos' right feet as they span around, two marching wolf heads howling around them as they struck. Their attacks collided as they were sent back.

Both Naki and Fuwa rolled onto the ground as they were hit in tandem.

BANG!

Yaiba was firing right at Raiden, with the Dodo Rider slashing each one with his swords, cleaving the bullets in half.

Shink!

"Not bad, Valkyrie." Raiden called out.

"What can I say? I've had plenty of practice." She shot back, charging forwards with her immense speed.

"Heh." He smirked under his helmet as he slashed down, clashing with her armour as her fist caught his stomach.

CLANG!

BOOM!

Both Raiden and Yua were flattened by each strike, being forced back as each one was either thrown upwards or pushed down.

'Damn, Raiden's tough.' Yua thought to herself as she pushed herself up.

Raiden was still in the air before coming back down. 'Not a bad hit, Valkyrie!' He thought as he gripped his Driver's hook.

ZETSUMETSU! DYSTOPIA!

Yua looked up, pressed her Progrise Key's Button and readied herself to run.

DASH!

R! U! S! H! I! N! G! B! L! A! S! T! F! E! V! E! R!

Yua charged forth. Orange energy surrounded her and her fist, ducking down and skidding across the ground. Aiming a powerful punch.

Meanwhile, lightning charged around Raiden's blades, spinning back around before bringing one forth in a mighty stab.

"HRAAARGH!"

"HAAAAA!"

KABOOM!

Both Yua and Raiden were caught in their respective explosions, with electricity sparking over their bodies, almost breaking their armours to pieces.

Yua rolled across the ground... and finding herself beside Fuwa, the two back to back.

"Hey, having fun?" he joked.

"Plenty." she deadpanned, rolling her shoulder "We should probably take this a bit more seriously." she stated, holding up a familiar red key.

"Right." he nodded, also holding up a key. A grey one. And as one, the two tapped the buttons.

BLOW!

POWER!

chink!

AUTHORISE!

SHOTRISE!

"HA!" the two called, the two turning around each other before charging forth as they swapped the Key's. New armour formed around them as they rushed at each other's opponents.

PUN~! CHING~! KONG!

Fuwa's armour quickly changed. Becoming the full white suit with black chest armour and large powerful gauntlets.

Enough Power To Annihilate A Mountain.

Yaiba charged at Naki and jumped, flipping over the fast white Rider as her new armour took form.

CRU~! SHIN~! G~! BUF~! FA~! LO~!

The orange of her cheetah armour was now replaced with dark red boots, a red chest plate, horned red bracers, a red-framed helmet with two buffalo ears protruding from the top and rounded shoulder guards.

"HA!" she roared, slamming her shoulder against her foe very hard. Throwing them back.

"ORIYA!" Fuwa roared, slamming his fist into the surprised Raiden's gut. Pulling him into the air before twisting his body, to throw Ikazuchi back.

"Ugh!" both Naki and Raiden grunted as they were slammed together, crashing to the ground.

ELECTRIC!

THUNDER!

Fuwa and Yua quickly swapped their keys again, an orange and yellow key respectively.

SHOTRISE!

The two once more transformed, warping and changing in a large flash of energy.

LIGHTNING! HORNET!

Yua had transformed, her chest armour morphing into a blue and gold state with a honeycomb-looking design and a pair of ankle-high boots with small heels.

Piercing Needle With Incredible Force.

"HA!" Fuwa roared as he punched his fists together, his new form quickly took shape. Electricity sparking over his form.

SPARKING! GIRAFFE!

His grey armour was replaced with orange-yellow armour, overlayed with orange hoof-like protection with spot-styled markings, his thigh guards had orange protection with spot-like designs; over his white bracers and grey shoulders were another pair of holed orange protection in the shape of hooves and legs. On his chest was an 'upside-down playing-card spade' on his chest and a giraffe frame head guard around his helmet.

Bursting Sparks Fly At Full Force.

"Ha!" Both Isamu and Yua called as they pulled out their ShotRiser's, opening fire in a rapid barrage. Their electric shots rushed through the air.

"You think you can out lightning me?!" Ikazuchi snarled as he slammed his Driver closed and open once more, Naki silently copying.

ZETSUMETSU UTOPIA!

Red lightning and white icy winds came rushing out, clashing against the electric strikes. Quickly overpowering them, but the two just charged forth. Rushing towards their opponent's attacks.

'What?' Naki thought in confusion, trying to work out what the two were trying to do.

TERRITORY!

DIVE!

SHOTRISE!

Breaking out of their opponent's attacks, the transformations having protected them, the new forms rushed high into the air.

Forming over Isamu's armoured body were purple spider-limbs that covered his legs like protruding shin and thigh guards, purple spider-limbs that covered his chest and only showed off his grey armour-covered arms, a spider thorax on his chest and a spider head covering his mask.

Yua's body was covered with silvery-blue armour forming over her body. Her feet had silver armour, her thighs were covered in flipper-styled guards, her chest was covered in what appeared to be a metal tail and her shoulders were covered in dolphin fins. Her bracers had a pair of fins protruding from them with a hexagonal hole on the front. Her helmet was white at the face with blue eyes, a silvery-blue outer face with a dolphin's head and dorsal fin on her forehead.

TRAPPING SPIDER~!

DI~VING~ DOL~PHIN!

"Ha!" Fuwa called as he launched a web blast from his ShotRiser, quickly wrapping the two up and swinging. Pulling the two in a net until they were at eye level with the two Riders.

No One Can Escape Its Web.

"Ahhhhh~" Yua called softly as she channelled energy, the water surrounding her hands and forming a ball of energy.

Goes Deeper Than One Thousand Leagues.

"HIYA!" she yelled, Yaiba throwing her hands forward and unleashing a massive water burst that sent both Ikazuchi and Raiden flying. The two crashed across the ground, the web dissolving as their bodies sparked. Their armour is put to the test via the water pressure. Naki's cold air froze the attack around them a bit, while the two were also shocked by Raiden's lightning.

"GAH!" They yelled in pain before the attacks stopped, the two Shot-Rider's landing.

"Next!" Fuwa called.

REVOLVER!

"Of course." Yaiba nodded.

BIND!

clunk!

SHOTRISE!

"Again?" Ikazuchi growled as he got to his feet, shaking his shoulder a bit.

GATTLING HEDGEHOG!

Infinite spines shoot towards the enemy.

Fuwa's armour was being peppered with green needles. His thighs now had green needles and armour plate, his arms were protected by two different green plates with green spikes protruding from them, rounded shoulder guards with green spikes pointing outwards, and a green chest plate with spikes. His mask had its white face with blue eyes, but the outside of his face had spikes that had the impression of a hedgehog's quills and face.

"Trying to keep us off bal-" Naki began.

WRAPPING LEMUR!

Tying Up Enemies In Its Lengthy Tail.

Yua's armour had changed again, now replaced with faded pink primate armour, a pink helmet face with two pointed ears with a black interior, pink bracers and gloves; silver and pink rounded shoulder guards, pink thigh guards with silver stripes, on her boots and shins were pink guards with triangle-styled stripes. Over her chest was a pink chest guard with a pair of yellow 'eyes' in place of her breasts. And finally connected to her waist was a long pink and black tail with a silver grip that looked like a whip.

"Wh-What is that form?!" Raiden yelled, covering his suits armoured eyes for a moment.

Yua smiled as she held the whip in her hands...and gave a quick-

Snap!

Raiden and Naki flinched as they heard that. Having...just a creep from what Yua just did. "Nope. Not going anywhere near that!"

"Yeah, you stay away." Fuwa commented, aiming his ShotRiser right at the Dodo Rider.

"You son of a-!" Raiden glared as he rushed at Fuwa and tried to get back at Fuwa's glibness.

"Raiden!" Naki called out as they were soon bound by Yua's lemur whip. "What?"

THWIP!

"Yeah, nope." She responded as she kept Naki from using their claws.

BANG!

Electric bullets fired at Raiden as they scorched the air.

Raiden attempted to slice them, cleaving them in two with his own electrical swords, but felt the jolts of electricity course through his arms. "Gah-HCK!" Raiden grunted as the electricity caused him to jerk back.

"Raiden!" Naki called out as they struggled with the whip.

REVOLVER!

"Hmmmmm~!" Fuwa hummed as he readied himself, green energy gathering around the gun barrel.

Naki struggled with the whip as they tried to get free as Fuwa fired at the pair of them.

"HA!" Fuwa roared as he fired.

GATLING BLAST!

A barrage of green needles sprayed out on both Raiden and Naki.

BOOM!

"Think that got them?" Yaiba asked, quickly arriving at Fuwa's side as she released her whip at the last second.

"Hope so." Fuwa grumbled "... Can't believe you are using that form again."

"What's wrong with this form?" Yua almost snapped at him.

Fuwa groaned and shook his head. "It's just weird. Whoever designed it must've had something wrong with their kinks."

"Well... You're not wrong there." She admitted.

The dust slowly parted, revealing Naki and Raiden. The latter used a blast of red lightning combined with the cold properties of Naki's abilities to form a shield at the last moment.

"Alright... Things are getting interesting!" Raiden smirked.

We rush over to the main focus of the battle. Blades clashing and sparking. Attacks are being unleashed by Zero One and Horobi, the two Riders in their base forms and giving it their all.

AttacheCalibur caught in the bond, clashing, with the AttacheArrow.

"How..." Horobi hissed "Even with whatever increase the Zero Two system gives you as Zero One... My body is stronger! My skill, I am years beyond you! How can you keep up?! How have you grown so much?!"

CLANG!

CRASH!

"A few months ago, I left you dying in an alley! A few months ago, you were less than an ant! How?! How has the 'gap' closed?!"

"Because I've always been fighting... For more than just myself!" Aruto called as he kicked the other Rider away.

FIRE!

"Even with Jin at your side... When we battled, you did it for Ark's desire. To please him. Despite everything he out you through." Aruto said as he closed his belt, scanning the Flaming Tiger Key.

AUTHORISE!

"The dream never was yours... It was forced upon you. And that is why you can't win!" Aruto called.

Let's Give You Power!

"I can't hate you Horobi... I pity you. This life was not what you wanted. But that is also why... You can't win!"

"Be quiet!" Horobi snapped as Aruto slammed the new Key in place.

FLAMING TIGER~!

Aruto's armour shifted around as flames washed over him, his new form quickly taking place. The red add-ons atop the Zero One suit appearing in a flash.

With a backflip, Aruto dodged out of the way of Horobi's slashes and shots. "HA!" He shot out jets of flame at Horobi, causing the ground to catch fire.

Horobi slashed the flames away, snarling at Aruto as he span his weapon and sent his Stinger out at the other warrior.

Aruto smiled under his helm, putting his hands in front of him as propulsion as he leapt back, catching Horobi's Stinger and heating it up. Smacking it away briefly as he switched his Keys.

BLIZZARD!

Horobi's eyes widened as he heard that sound as Aruto switched the Key and transformed into another form.

FREEZING BEAR!

Aruto rolled on the ground, catching his feet as the ice formed where his hands were as they charged up for the attack.

Horobi tried to catch his stinger and retreat it, knowing full well what happens to immediately cool heated metal!

BWOOSH!

CHINK!

Aruto closed the distance with the stinger, knowing that it would hurt if he grabbed or attempted to block it...but freezing it would be a much better option and cripple Horobi's offences.

Horobi growled as he saw his stinger shatter into pieces, only leaving the whip part of it. His primary weapon, the one that had been with him for a decade...shattered into pieces. He would get his vengeance! So why...why was he feeling better?

SCISSORS!

Horobi slotted the Exciting Stag Key into his AttacheArrow's slot, fuelling it with its power.

PROGRISE KEY CONFIRMED!

Ready To Utilize Stag's Ability!

Horobi grunted as he slashed down with his arrow, using it more as a slashing weapon than a ranged one.

CLASH!

CLANG!

CLASH!

CLANG!

Between Aruto and Horobi, Aruto's chill started to crawl up the Arrow's blade body while Horobi's attacks were chipping Aruto's armour away.

Aruto soon threw a punch, hitting Horobi in the mask and disorienting him just enough to back off before freezing the ground under Horobi's feet.

Horobi tripped as he tried to attack Aruto again, but used his AttacheArrow like a staff, as the bottom blade was jammed into the ground.

SMASH!

The Attache Arrow dug into the ground as Aruto backed off, panting as he swapped his Keys once again.

PRESS!

Let's Give You Power!

With a quick switch of his hands, Aruto slid the Mammoth Key into his Driver.

STOMP!

Aruto stomped towards Horobi and rushed his tusks into him and flung him away. Aruto became armoured differently once again; his black undersuit remained the same, his yellow hopper armour had shifted around his body so that the yellow was on the outside of his feet, grey gloves with grey bracers that seemed to curl like tusks, some grey shins that looked like hooves, grey see-through armour on his chest with his yellow hopper armour underneath, grey see-through shoulder guards over yellow armour, solid grey armour to protect his neck and a grey mask that looked slightly elephant-like with red eyes as his hopper antennae stuck behind his head.

BREAKING MAMMOTH!

Using the lesser armoured state he charged at Horobi, using gravity and pressure as he charged in.

EXCITING KABAN STRIKE!

"Grah!" Horobi called, thrusting his blade forward at Aruto with all his might.

Erupting through the blade was a pair of stag-beetle horns as they clashed on Aruto's heavy armour and caused sparks on both his chest and arm guards.

"Ghnn!" Aruto grunted as he was taking this scissor attack head-on despite essentially being pinned by the attack and punched Horobi in the head.

Aruto may not be able to use the fullest extent of this new form, but he could still turn the tide of battle.

SLAM!

Horobi grunted as he was pushed back, the force of Aruto's punch disoriented him and released the Stag-infused attack.

'Why? Why is it? That you can keep going, Hiden?' Horobi thought to himself, glaring into Aruto's visor eyes...and could almost feel it. The reason why he kept going...and the reason Horobi wanted to keep going too.

'Horobi... I hope you can see it!' Aruto thought back with passion as the two quickly grabbed a new key.

STRONG!

SHINING JUMP!

"You're using that?" Horobi asked as he readied his Caucasus Key.

"Heh. Could say the same." Aruto smirked.

And the two inserted their Keys into their respective slot and began to power up.

When I Shine DARKNESS Fades!

In a burst of golden yellow energy, Aruto's body was now surrounded in his black bulkier bodysuit where glowing yellow circuitry pulsed through him and erupted out into six grasshopper legs, before they folded inwards, forming the 'X' like protrusions between his shoulders and arms, with the remaining two becoming the protrusions on his helmet.

Horobi stood firm as his own form changed.

Harsh yellow eyes and a purple bodysuit, a long and curved Hercules beetle horn protruding from his left arm, his black wires had now strapped dark green metal that was segmented all over his body, a pair of insect legs separated his eyes to act as his antennae, his chest armour was like a beetle's shell that was segmented to his chest and on his legs were broken apart legs that seemed to wrap around his shins and to the top of his feet.

"Grasshopper and Heracles Beetle." Aruto smirked.

"Something amusing about that?" Horobi frowned, swapping his key and slamming it open and closed.

SPLASHING DYSTOPIA!

Coming from his fist was the glowing blue mechanical outline of a whale's tail, as he swiped at Aruto and left a trail of glowing blue energy.

Aruto blocked the oncoming attack, a strong defence against the hit despite his ability to dodge.

SLAM!

"Hnn! Just...Thought we could 'Moshi' about 'mushi'! Hai!" Aruto jokingly groaned. "Aruto ja naito!" as he suddenly vanished in a burst of speed.

''Moshi, mushi'? So stupid.' Horobi thought at Aruto's terrible pun as he tried to find where the Rider had disappeared to. It had been so long since this form was used, Horobi wondered if he could counter it.

Appearing to the side of Horobi's vision, was Aruto's foot, kicking him in his good arm and flung him away.

Horobi grunted as he flew through the air, twisting his body.

AMAZING UTOPIA!

Horobi channelled the power of his finisher into the weapon as he landed. The ground cracked under him as he kept his eyes focused around him, thinking. Planning...

Aruto looked up and saw the oncoming attack, pushing his Key into his Driver and felt the power coursing through.

"Ha!" Horobi roared, sending a massive blast of green energy towards Aruto.

"Hmm.." Aruto mumbled as he prepares for his attack, shifting himself into a kicking position... before he looked to the side and shifted his body a bit more. Grunting as he took the attack.

The movement was almost at the last second.

KABOOM!

Horobi landed down on the ground, he was almost panting. This attack had connected, he was winning.

"Not done yet..." He panted.

Shining! ASSAULT HOPPER!

Horobi frowned as he turned his head to his foe, almost growling.

CYCLONE!

STORMING DYSTOPIA!

Standing firmly, Aruto's armour had changed again. His body was more armoured with blue pieces protruding out from his chest and shoulders with a glowing core in the centre.

Aruto quietly called out to block the oncoming attack and stood against Horobi. "Shine System...Activate!"

"Ha!" Horobi roared as he pulled back the 'string' on his arrows, unleashing blasts of wind.

The winds continued to cut through Aruto and the air, aimed only at him from tunnel vision, but Aruto kept blocking with his system.

The crystals rushing around, blocking every strike of wind as a shield, as the armoured Rider charged forwards.

Aruto came rushing in, the Shine System quickly flying and gathering around his hand, forming an almost drill-like shape as he prepared for a powerful punch

EXCITING KABAN FINISH!

STORMING UTOPIA!

"HA!" Horobi roared as he performed an upwards slash, ripping the ground as he attempted to cup Aruto in half.

Zero One readied himself, preparing to slam his Driver's key as he came rushing down... Only to suddenly stop, throwing the Shine System away as he crossed his arms. The glowing blue crystals rushed through the air from them as Aruto took the hit.

BOOM!

"Grrr..." He grunted as he fell to earth again, almost bouncing a bit, before he gathered himself "Ha!" He roared, Aruto yelled as he rushed forwards and threw a quick jab.

"Ugh!" Horobi grunted as he barely had a chance to block with his AttacheArrow, being pushed back as he blinked in shock. the weapon shattering and falling to his feet 'He... He took those earlier hits!' he thought in realisation... And grew angry. How... How dare he?! How dare Hiden hold back! How dare he look down on him?!

CLINK!

CLANK!

STORMING DYSTOPIA!

"Don't..." Horobi snarled as wind energy began to gather around him... And Horobi opened and closed the Driver again.

CLINK!

STORMING UTOPIA!

"Look down." Horobi snarled further as he swapped keys and reopened it further.

"Horobi!" Aruto called out as he held out his hand.

CLINK!

CLANK!

SPLASHING DYSTOPIA!

"On me!" Horobi snapped.

CLINK!

CLANK!

SPLASHING UTOPIA!

The battle was stopped a everyone heard what was happening. Quickly paying attention to the battle between Aruto and Horobi. Watching as the wind and water surrounded Horobi like a literal storm.

"What is he doing?!" Raiden snapped in horror.

"He's an idiot!" Naki yelled aggressively, as Horobi swapped the keys once more.

CLINK!

CLANK!

EXCITING DYSTOPIA!

Now orange energy was surrounding the longest-running rider as he glared in pure rage.

"He's going to rip himself apart..." Yua gasped.

"Aruto! Stop him!" Fuwa called.

"Horobi, this wasn't to the death!" Izu snapped.

"Dad, stop!" Jin called out.

CLINK!

CLANK!

"HIIIDEEEENNNNN!" Horobi roared out as he performed one last finisher, letting all of his energy channel into his body.

EXCITING UTOPIA!

And then... He charged. The energy of six finishers surrounded Horobi as he dashed across the dirt-covered ground, moving like a bullet towards Aurto.

With wide eyes, Aurto was surrounded by the Shine System and almost teleported away, dodging the attack.

Horobi kept running, stampeding through where Aruto had just been. Spinning on the spot to glare at him, and throwing all the energy as a large blast of energy. Orange, cyan, navy and green.

Aruto reappeared, not too far from Horobi. Easily dodging the attack... Only to gasp and used the Shine System to jump.

Right into the line of fire.

"What?!" Literally, everyone yelled, even Horobi, as Aruto was surrounded by an explosion.

KABOOM!

Aruto had leapt into the explosive combined finishing attack, their sights trained on the explosion despite almost being blinded by it.

He came crashing down, grunting as he slammed against the ground in pain.

"Aruto!" Izu called out in fear, seeing him crash down and panting heavily.

'I'm. Alright.' He thought, his voice not coming out because of the pain as he had lost his transformation, standing up slowly.

"N-No... I-I didn't..." Horobi mumbled to himself, as he realised what happened.

"What the hell?! Why did he do that?!" Fuwa snapped.

"He... He would have hit Jin." Naki spoke.

Horobi looked on in shock, taking a step back as he heard that, almost losing his footing.

"Y-You don't-." Jin tried to reassure him.

"I would have, Jin." Horobi answered with a heavy heart. "I...Would have killed you." Horobi reached for his belt, closing it and removing his key. Letting his transformation end.

"H-Horobi?" Jin asked as he saw his father give up like this.

"I. I'm done." Horobi confessed. "I... I understand."

Raiden, Jin, Naki; everyone there looked at Horobi as Izu helped Aruto back to his feet. Luckily, Shining Assault Hopper was the most durable form that he used, so the damage was mitigated.

"Thanks, Izu..." Aruto mumbled, smiling at her, before turning to Horobi "So... Do you get it now. Why do I stand? Why do I fight? It's for them."

Horobi was there shaking, his posture said that he fully understood...but if he could. He would be crying. "Yes. I understand."

Aruto nodded as he pulled away from Izu, slowly walking towards him.

His boots crunched the ground under him as he neared Horobi.

Horobi didn't move, waiting for whatever Aruto would do next. Would Aruto imprison him for his crimes? Give him over to AIMS? Be the one to put him down? Or-?

Aruto put his hand on Horobi's shoulder and let him look into each other's eyes.

"W-What?" Horobi blinked in shock, looking up at Aruto.

"It's alright, Horobi. No more fighting. Ark's Will is no more." Aruto reassured him. "Let's start over."

Horobi looked at Aruto's hand, trying to work out what to do. What to say.

Naki and Fuwa looked at each other, seeing they didn't have to fight anymore...and what's more, they could maybe start again themselves.

Raiden and Yua caught each other's eyes, knowing the fight was over and they could have some time to fix their respective lives. ZAIA for Yaiba and Raiden to be Hiden's astronaut.

"Hahahahahahaha!" An insane evil laugh echoed out, a figure approaching our heroes.

"No, no, no, no. What're they doing here?" Jin panicked, each turning to the source of the malicious laughing.

Everyone looked... And saw Azu approaching them.

"Azu?" Izu asked as she saw her.

"You're still alive?" Raiden frowned.

"Of course, we're still alive!" Azu answered, holding her hand over her right eye with a malicious grin.

'Oh god...why is she posing like that?' Fuwa asked.

"Wait. 'We'? The hell are you talking about-?" Jin asked before fear gripped him.

As Azu lowered her hand and revealed that her blue eye was now replaced with a deep blood-red eye and cracked socket.

"What did you do?!" Izu asked in horror, feeling like she was seeing her own sister ripped apart.

"I simply embraced what Ark-Sama offered! To be part of his Will and Plan! My body is his! Ark-Sama is I̷̘͝M̴̺͝M̵̧̊Ő̴͚R̵͔̊T̷̠̋A̸̛̟L̸̰͝!̴͇̊" Azu proclaimed, summoning the Ark Driver to her waist.

ARKDRIVER!

"Azu, don't do this! You don't know what it's like! It's like drowning!" Jin called out.

"Of course, I do! I know exactly what it's like!" Azu answered as she rose her hand towards the sky. "You were the fools to deny this glorious gift! The vengeance and justice of Ark-Sama! Against the corrupt humans of this world!" She spread her arms wide as she let out another insane laugh, throwing her head back as her face spread into a grin that could only be described as monstrous.

"Behold. Our. H̴͉̍ẻ̵̠n̴̞̚s̶͍͂h̶͉́i̷̜̒ñ̷̼!" She proclaimed proudly as she slammed the button of the Driver, masses of deep-red almost black nano-machines screamed out as she transformed into Ark.

ARKRISE!

The sounds of people's screams were like nails on a chalkboard; red mist spewed from the Ark Driver as black nanobots melted around Ark as they formed melting corpses of various animals that merged and spliced together like they were crying out in agony and with bloody red eyes.

There, Azu and Ark. Had become a Kamen Rider.

They stood in a solid black bodysuit, white-toed black shoes and shin guards, black thigh guards with two solid white lines going from their waist to their chest, reinforced with black metal around the stomach area with a cracked black and silver chest plate with a red segment between the breast, exposed yellow, white and silver wires protruding and wrapping over their shoulder and under their arms, red outlet plugs to hold the wires in place. Misshaped shoulder guards, the left was flat and triangular and the right had a silver coil keeping a red wire in its loop protruding outwards. Silver and black upper arm protection that looked welded from scrap parts, black bracers and clawed gloves on his hands. And finally the helmet, solid black all around as his face looked like a skull, half a silver mouthguard with the left side looking like teeth made out of riveted staples and wires to look like a breathing apparatus, a dull yellow eye visor on the right-hand side and a welded silver vent; on the left-hand side was a pair of jagged metal pieces that looked like a mask frame with a single black antenna...by a scorching mechanical red eye.

ALL-ZERO!

Ark. Had returned.
