[Route One: Alola Region]

A day has passed since Jaune Arc found himself lost in the Pokemon world, or more precisely in the region of Alola. The young aspiring Huntsman and training now found himself in the possession of a Pokemon which consisted in the sea lion Pokemon, Popplio.

The evening was catching up to him and he knew he needed to get to Iki Town for the Town festival, as he was one of the guests of honor. Now normally he would be too preoccupied with trying to find a way to get home, but he had a feeling that something aka Mew was telling him that he had to go through with archipelago's traditions if you wanted to ever get back home!

Plus it would be a chance for him to see Lillie again...

"I still can't believe I'm in another world when I'm supposed to be a Huntsman... well a bad Huntsman but a huntsman nonetheless."said Jaune, who is currently sitting on Route one with the sea lion Pokemon close to him.

"I blame Mew for what is happening to me right now but it's so far not been so bad as the people are kind, there's no Grimm to worry about, and overall this world is pretty peaceful as this is the freshest air I've ever breathed...Plus, I got to meet a new friend today in the form of you"said Jaune, before he began petting the sea lion Pokemon, something that Popplio greatly enjoyed.

"You are an underdog just like me... as I heard that not a lot of people choose Popplio as their starter Pokemon...so I guess it makes sense for two underdogs to become partners."said Jaune, something to sea lion pokémon agreed with by nodding his head.

"I guess I should make the best out of a poor situation and try to live through this island. I mean, in all honestly I have no idea how to get back as the only creature who can send me back is probably still at Beacon Academy as we speak... and the Brothers only know what Mew is up to..."said Jaune, even though he knew that the sea lion pokémon wasn't really getting what he was saying, it was nice to talk to someone about your problems even if that person was a Pokemon.

"Well, I guess I better make my way to Iki Town, as there's a festival in my honor and there is no way I'm going to miss that as that's probably the only time I'll ever get a festival in my honor."said Jaune, as when is it every day that one is the main guest at a festival in their honor, just because they met the guardian of the island!

"Man, I'm still nervous about battling Hau, cuz I've never been in a Pokemon battle before and I have a feeling that you haven't either... although considering you know a bit of moves I'm considering Hala trained you a bit."said Jaune, to which Popplio gave what in his opinion was a thumbs up!

"I'll take that as a yes. Now, we should probably add to our team before we go to the town as I have a feeling that Hau has more than one Pokemon on him so it's better to be prepared."said Jaune, whose gut was telling him that the grandson of the kahuna had more than one Pokemon as it would just make sense to have more than one Pokemon if you wanted to make a successful Pokemon team.

From what Jaune understood, Pokemon teams consisted up to six... meaning he at least needed five other Pokemon if you wanted to have a complete team. And that was easier said than done as it's not like a Pokemon is going to appear in front of him out of nowhere.

That would be absolutely ridiculous.

And it was in that moment that some kind of lizard like Pokemon with what appeared to be an extremely hard head appeared in front of Jaune, and it appeared to be dizzy as it was a moving around in erratic fashion like it had just spun around in a circle over and over again before becoming dizzy...

"Who's that Pokemon?"Jaune asked himself as he pulled out a device that Professor Kukui gave him that was known as a pokedex.

A device that you all you have to do is point out a pokémon and it will tell you a quick info about it including what type it is and the name of the Pokemon that one has in front of them.

Pokedex: Bagon, the rock head Pokemon. Some theories suggest that its behavior of forcefully bashing its head into things stimulates cells that affect its evolution.

"So this is a dragon type Pokemon which is one of the rarest Pokemon that you can find...But what is it doing over here as this is route one...and these guys are usually found on route three...wait a minute..."said Jaune, before looking over and seeing a nearby rock that look like it have just been broken.

"This bagon must have been bashing his head on that rock in order to achieve evolution, and that's why it's so dizzy."said Jaune, as that was the only rational explanation he could come up with as he wondered who in their right mind would bash their head over a hard surface.

But then again this was not his world so things did not make sense to him like they made sense to the pokémon in humans who called this world their home... so maybe Bagon had his reasons for wanting to bash his head in.

"Oh well, might as well take this opportunity and use some of those pokeballs the professor gave me yesterday after speaking with Hau."said Jaune, before he began recalling the conversation he had with the professor yesterday.

[Flashback]

Jaune had just been challenged by Hau for the battle in honor of Tapu Koko, Jaune eagerly accepted the battle and that's when Professor Kukui approached him with an offer.

"Jaune, since you're going to be battling Hau tomorrow you're going to need some of these."said Professor Kukui, before he handed Jaune the items that he would later learn are called a pokedex and pokeballs.

"Wait! I can't possibly accept these as these are yours!"said Jaune, who didn't feel right to accept gifts from someone who he had just met just a few moments ago as it felt weird to him.

Professor Kukui on the other hand just smiled as he slapped Jaune in the back before responding."Don't worry about it as it's the least I can do for the newest trainer here in Alola. I have been studying Pokemon for quite a while kid and I can tell that Popplio really likes you, and I can only mean you are a skilled trainer with a lot of potential. So giving you a pokedex and pokeballs to help you make a strong team is the least I can do as a Pokemon Professor."

Jaune didn't know what to say is this is the first time a complete stranger who had just made a moment ago had given him something so generous as who in their right mind would give something as the device known as a pokedex looks insanely expensive, and although he didn't know what the pokeballs looked high-tech as well, and even though they were expensive, Jaune didn't know that!

But he also knew that it would be extremely rude to turn down the offer after Professor Kukui went to all the effort of giving him the devices in question..so after a few seconds of liberation, he made a choice.

"Thank you for your hospitality "said Jaune as he humbly accepted the gifts as it's the least he could do.

After all, turning down someone giving him such gifts would be considered rude to the people around him and that's the last Jaune wanted as he needed allies in this new world as he knew nothing about it other than the information that Mew put in his head, and that information was telling him that he needed allies both in humans and Pokemon if he wanted to survive.

As Jaune had no money, he had no way to get back home, he did not have a roof over his head, and other than what he can find in the wild he need to save up if you wanted to get something to eat.

"Here in Alola, hospitality is considered key so helping out a stranger is the same as helping out a friend. Friends are just people you haven't met yet."said Hau with a smile as he approached Jaune and the others on the stage/battle arena.

"I couldn't agree with you more as that's why my mom and dad tells me all the time."said Jaune, who knew that his parents told him the same thing as they wanted him to make more friends as Jaune had kind of been sheltered all his life by his sisters, who to say that they were over protective would be an understatement!

"Jaune, what do you have in your pocket?"asked Hala, noticing that something was glowing in Jaune's pocket.

"Oh this."said Jaune as he pulled out the mysterious Black Stone from his pocket."This it's just something that Lillie and Nebby found on the ground after Nebby and I were saved by Tapu Koko."said Jaune, before he handed the mysterious Stone over to the kahuna.

"Could it be?"said Hala, showing a lot of interest in the stone as Jaune could swear that Hala had a look that said that he has seen a stone like this before.

"Tutu, isn't that?"said Hau, who couldn't even finish his question.

"Well our garden even decided to give you a stone of all things. Perhaps you are here in Alola Jaune, because it was your destiny to be here all along."said Hala, before he began chuckling a little.

Jaune was caught off guard by this! Was he destined to come to the Pokemon world after all even though he was basically kidnapped by some pink cat with a long tail?! He did believe in destiny so was it possible that it was his destiny to go to Beacon and become a Pokemon trainer, if so why? And why did it happen without his consent?

But then again, Jaune knew that destiny works in mysterious ways and doesn't always work in the way people expect it to.

"Jaune, do you mind if I borrow this stone for a moment. Don't worrying I will return it to you tomorrow and it will be in a form that you will not recognize."said Hala ominously.

"Um sure... just be careful with it."saud Jaune, who didn't know why but he felt like he was drawn to the stone in question... as it was giving off an aura that was resonating with his.

"Well Jaune, why don't you head out and find some Pokemon of your own as you're going to need some new Pokemon on your team for your battle against Hau tomorrow."said Professor Kukui with a smile.

"I'll get right on that!"said Jaune, who knew that he needed new Pokemon on his team if he wanted to cover the sea lion Pokemon's advantages and weaknesses.

As how else was he going to grow as a Pokemon trainer and find a way home!

[Flashback End]

'And that's how I spent the whole day trying to find a new Pokemon and ended up being unsuccessful. At least here on route one, everything is peaceful and I might just sleep on a real soft patch of grass... and I had peccha berries for breakfast and lunch so I'm good...Man, those berries were good!...Jaune focus, there is a super rare Pokemon in front of you and it's dizzy so might as well catch it while you have a chance.' thought Jaune to himself, before he focus back on the rock head Pokemon.

Bagon meanwhile did not notice the trainer in front of him as he was still dizzy, which was obviously the case considering he was hitting his head on a rock.

Jaune meanwhile didn't see the need to battle as he simply walked over to the Pokemon and pressed the pokeball on its forehead. This cause the pokeball to open up quickly release a red light that absorbed Bagon inside. Once the rocket Pokemon was inside the pokeball did it close up, before it began wiggling in the trainers hands.

"Come on...Come on...Come on...!"said Jaune to himself as he has had a long day of trying to capture Pokemon.

As first he tried to capture a Pokemon that look like a woodpecker to him but it ended up packing him on the head over and over again!

Next he tried to capture a Pokemon that look like a rabbit as it was to his personal taste... but the rabbit like Pokemon ended up slapping him in the face with it's ears of all things.

Then he tried to capture a Pokemon that look like a ladybug but it ended up punching him in the gut...

So to say Jaune was frustrated would be an understatement as the pokeball continue to wiggle until a click sound was heard... indicating that the rock head pokémon had been successfully captured!

Jaune smile before he held the pokeball up in the air."Yes! I just caught a Bagon!"exclaimed Jaune, before he opened the pokeball once again to release the rock head Pokemon to face him.

"Ba?"said the rock head Pokemon as he was no longer confused, as now he was more focused and was wondering what was going on as a moment ago he was bashing his extremely hard head next to a rock.

"Hey Bagon, I'm Jaune, and I guess I'm your new trainer?"said Jaune, causing Bwgon to look at him with a curious look, as he wondered what kind of person his new trainer was as he just realized that he had been captured.

"I looked up on the pokédex that your species wants to know how to fly but that won't happen until you evolve into a Salamence. So how about I train you up so that one day you become a salamence? Does that sounds like something you would want to do?"asked Jaune, causing the rock head Pokemon to ponder.

Sure he knows that Pokemon that join up with trainers train up and evolve at a much faster rate than Pokemon in the wild. And sure I'm going to go he was training for that very purpose of one day evolving into salamence... but what kind of person was his new trainer as he had heard there are bad trainers out there from fellow pokémon who had been released by trainers who did not want them.

"Don't worry about mistreating you or anything as I know what it's like to be used as a toy... mainly addressed all by seven sisters. Plus as long as you're properly fed and allowed to train that's all you want huh?"asked Jaune, who knew that most Pokemon would seek food and powerful opponents to face.

Bagon!"said the rock head Pokemon before he jumped into Jaune's arms.

"I'll take that as a yes. Welcome to the family Bagon!"said Jaune, who is happy that his new Pokemon quickly accepted him.

That is when Jaune heard something else nearby when he saw some kind of Pokemon that look like a grub pop out of the ground.

"Who's that Pokemon?"Jaune asked himself as he pointed his Pokedex towards the grub like Pokemon to get more information.

Pokedex: Grubbin, the larva Pokemon. It spits a sticky thread to stop opponents in their tracks, and then it grabs them in its sharp, sturdy mandibles to take them down.

"So it's a bug type Pokemon. That could come in handy later down the line with psychic and dark type Pokemon."said Jaune, who decided to add the larva Pokemon to his team as the more the merrier.

"Bagon, I choose you!"said Jaune, who decided to use the dragon type pokémon for his attempt to capture of the larvae Pokemon.

"Pop!"said the devastated sea lion Pokemon, who had been quiet the whole time as he had watched everything unfold.

"Sorry little guy but I already know what you can do. I need to know what Bagon can do if we're going to beat Hau."said Jaune, causing the sea lion Pokemon to nod his head in understanding, as he knew that his trainer was right.

"Bagon, use headbutt!"ordered Jaune, causing the rockhead Pokemon to charge towards the larva Pokemon at full speed with with his head lowered as far as his head could go.

The larva Pokemon was caught off guard, and before it could do anything it was rammed in the head with a successful headbutt attack, causing damage to Grubbin, and forcing the larva Pokemon to turn its attention towards Jaune anf Bagon.

And that's when it fired string shot!

"Grab the threads with your mouth and pull Grubbin in!"ordered Jaune, causing the rock head Pokemon to wait for the right moment before he grabbed the threads and pulled the larva Pokemon into range!

"Use dragon breath!"ordered Jaune, causing the dragon type Pokemon to fire a blast of its dragon breath, striking The larva Pokemon and causing damage as Grubbin soon fell on its back.

Jaune saw his moment right there and then and pulled out a pokeball that didn't have anyone inside and decided to use it to capture the larva Pokemon!

"Go pokeball!"shouted Jaune, before tossing the pokeball towards the larva Pokemon!

The Pokeball quickly landed on Grubbin's head, and before the larva Pokemon could do anything, the pokeball ricocheted off of its Pinsir and opened up before releasing a ray of light that absorbed Grubbin inside of the pokeball! Once The larva Pokemon was successfully inside did the pokeball close, before it fell to the floor and began wiggling.

Jaune, Popplio, and Bagon all held their breath as they waited for the results of what was to happen next before a click sound was heard a few seconds later, indicating that the larva Pokemon has been successfully captured by Jaune!

Jaune of course smile then ran over to grab the pokeball before holding it high in the air!

"Yes, I just caught myself a Grubbin!"said Jaune, with Popplio ant Bagon jumping with joy for their new friend who has just joined their trainers team.

"Now to get to the festival before we're all late."said Jaune, before he recalled Popplio and Bagon back to their pokeballs.

And once he playset pokeballs on his belt that he began running back to Iki Town, as there was no way he was going to make a bad first impression by being late to the festival that was partly in his honor!

[After having spent the day in the Alola region, Jaune Arc now find some self with two new friends in the form of Bagon and Grubbin. Will Jaune be able to successfully evolve Bagon into Salamence? Will Grubbin be Jaune's friend? Will Jaune be able to beat the grandson of the kahuna, Hau during the festival? Only time will tell us the journey continues]
