Two years after Dan and the brawlers saved Bakugan City from Mechtavius Destroyer a lot has changed. New battlers have appeared on the scene and will discover what it is like to brawl. Watch as the Neo Brawlers will team up, and fight with and against the newest generation of battlers, and a against a race of aliens that seek to invade Earth and all other Dimensions.

66. Bakugan City Meltdown

The Bakugan Battle Brawlers in:

The rain fell all over Bakugan City, the battles continued to rage on. Though it looked as if the Fabregans had the slight upper hand. Magma Wilda stood tall as the rain was evaporating off his body.

Kimiko glared at Clone Mira who looked very confident in her skill, it also helped that Wilda's power was much higher at the start of the battle. Though the clone Fabregan still felt the bruise on her cheek that Kimiko had given her. "Trust me, I'm going to pay you back for this."

Magma Wilda: 1200 / Lycanine: 700

Mira raised her gauntlet. "Ability Activate, Land Twister!" Wilda was seen punching the ground, the road beneath him, and arms stretched out from the ground to grab both Kimiko and Lycanine. Once they were both restrained, the port holes on Wilda's feet were jutting out steam jets, propelling him forward, Mira was speeding alongside him. "Gallows Punch!"

Magma WIlda: 1200 / Lycanine: 700(-300)= 400

Kimiko panicked as Mira and Wilda closed the gap.

Lycanine growled. "Steel Sheen!" Lycanine covered himself in a silver aura and the energy shattered the rocky hands that held down both himself and Kimiko. Once they were free, Lycanine blocked Wilda's fist with his head. Kimiko on the other hand saw Mira coming at her, and she ducked under the punch and rolled between her legs.

Magma Wilda: 1200 / Lycanine: 400(+300 +400)= 1100

Once the ability was nullified, Lycanine clashed his head into Wilda's chest. "Kimiko, do something!"

In response, Kimiko pulled out a card. "Ability Activate, Volcanic Hail!" Lycanine, who had backed away from Wilda, opened his maw, creating a magma orb and he roared, firing pellets of lava at his foe. The pellets dried as they flew, pelting Wilda with hot, dried lava and making him step back. This attack had dropped his power level by 650, putting him at 550Gs.

As Wilda was forced back, Kimiko was quick to use yet another ability. "Keep going, Lykie! Ability Activate, Doom Impulse!" Lycanine growled before becoming cloaked in a magma aura, he launched off his paws, speeding to Wilda.

Magma Wilda: 550 / Lycanine: 1100(+600)= 1700

"This is our chance to take them out in one shot!" Kimiko exclaimed.

"Good luck with that, Double Ability Activate!" Mira exclaimed in retaliation. "Chest Burn, plus Hyper Earth Ball!" Wilda had flexed his muscles, and his chest was glowing lava red as he put out an orange heatwave that sapped the energy from Lycanine, nullifying his ability and bringing him down to 1100. As Lycanine slowed down Wilda was seen charging an orange energy core in between his hands. He then heaved the Earth Ball at the still Lycanine.

Magma Wilda: 550(+500)= 1050 / Lycanine: 1100(-500)= 600

The energy core struck Lycanine and was sent sliding back and he rolled back to Kimiko. "Lykie!" She then saw Mira putting in a Reversion Ability Card.

"You're not bad, but you're finished, Reversion Ability Activate! Volcanic Gun Lock!" A burst of magma was fired from the port holes on his shoulders, transferring 400Gs between them, bringing Lycanine down to 200 while Wilda was raised to 1450.

"Lykie! Eruption Pillar!" Kimiko yelled in a panic. The jackal had punched his paw into the ground, sending pillars of magma speeding to Wilda's magma blast. When the pillar made contact, there was an explosion of black smoke that momentarily covered the impact point. But Wilda's attack was seen speeding through and the magma blast engulfed Lycanine. "LYKIE!" Kimiko screamed. She saw him shrink to his ball form and bounce in front of her and roll over to her foot. The last-minute save had prevented Mira from taking Lycanine as he was brought up to 650Gs thanks to Eruption Pillar. Though her life gauge had fallen to 20%.

"Sorry, Kimiko... I went down too quickly."

"No... It's not your fault. Without Reversion... I'm not sure how much use I could be..."

Clone Mira held out her hand. "Then make this easy for both of us. You're still Fabregan, and I'm sure I could smooth things over with our high leader. Or if you don't want to fight, then you can just hand over your Bakugan."

She stood back up. "Absolutely not!" she exclaimed. "This whole invasion Yukiko is planning. It has to end!"

Clone Mira sighed. "I had a feeling you'd say something like that. Then hurry this up so I can properly take that Bakugan of yours!"

Kimiko had a gate card in between her fingers as Magma Wilda towered over her. "Kimiko, do you have a plan?"

"Yes... I can only hope it works... Gate Card Set!" Her card was thrown in and it created an orange sheen that spread over the entire area. "Bakugan Brawl! Lykie stand!" Lycanine stood as his ball form opened. Once on the field, Kimiko threw her hand forward. "Let's hope this works... Gate card open! Battle Crasher!" once the command card opened, this put Kimiko's plan into action.

Gus and Isolde were about to start their battle, Isolde had a card in his gauntlet. "Alright, now time ta'-" There was a rainbow-like glow that was shining from underneath Rex Vulcan and Hydrapent.

"Wait... what's happening!?" Gus asked.

Isolde chuckled. "Looks like we're about ta' go for a ride!" The ground below them shook while a white glare blinded them.

After the field around them whited out, both were unaware of what was happening around them while the ground shook.

Right as their vision was slowly recovering, they both found themselves on opposing sides, facing each other but the catch was they inserted into another battle already in progress.

"What is this!?" Clone Gus asked as he found himself next to his cloned companion.

"Wait... what are you doing here!?" Clone Mira asked

Isolde saw Kimiko and figured this was her doing. "Heh, you did this right?" When she replied with a nod, he checked the battle status.

Magma Wilda: 700 / Rex Vulcan: 800

Lycanine: 700 / Omega Hydrapent: 950

"Let's take advantage of their confusion!" Isolde said with a smirk. "Ability Activate, Trinity Repeater!" Hydrapent was charging blue electrical orbs in his serpent heads, and he fired them right at Vulcan.

Rex Vulcan: 800(-550)= 250 / Omega Hydrapent: 950(+550)= 1500

As the orbs were speeding to Vulcan, Clone Gus looked prepared. "You may have the power but that won't-" Lycanine landed right in between Wilda and Vulcan. "What are you-?"

"NOW KIMIKO!"

"Ability Activate, Ground Voltage!" Lycanine's orange glowing joins had turned purple, and he stepped hard on the ground, making a purple electrical hemisphere that engulfed both Wilda and Vulcan stunning them.

Magma Wilda: 700(-250)= 450 / Rex Vulcan: 250(-250)= 0

Lycanine: 700(+250)= 950 / Omega Hydrapent: 1500

"We got him! Fastest Battle Ever!" Isolde excitedly exclaimed.

Clone Mira quickly stood in front of Vulcan, there was a growing, orange aura that surrounded her. "Ability Activate, Land Minder!" Mira extended her hands outward and made an orange hemispherical barrier that grew to cover herself, Gus, Vulcan, and Wilda. This added 300 to their power levels. Bringing Vulcan up to 300 and Wilda to 750.

The three electrical orbs dissipated into sparks as they hit Mira's barrier. "Don't hold back against these guys!" Mira said. "They appear to be much stronger than the others."

Gus held up a card. "If that's the case, then I'll jump right ahead to using this! Ability Activate, Reversion X!" Gus' muscles grew as he had arm gauntlets like Vulcan appear over his arms. Both Kimiko and Isolde looked in shock as their odds for victory looked to have shifted against them.

"Eh...Look on da bright side... Hydrapent's power level is still high." Isolde mentioned right as the paralysis affecting Vulcan and Wilda wore off.

Gus grunted as he looked forward. "Last time you bring me to zero, weakling! Hammer Knuckle!" Gus and Vulcan aimed their gauntlets at Lycanine and Kimiko respectively. They both fired a single fist at their targets.

Rex Vulcan: 300(+300)= 600 / Lycanine: 950(-300)= 650

The fist managed to grab hold of Lycanine's neck and lifted him off the ground. As for the other... "WATCH OUT!" Isolde tackled Kimiko to the ground making the fist fly over them. While this got their attention, Mira took her chance to strike.

"Ability Activate, Volcanic Smoke!" Wilda fired blinding smoke from his port holes that blanketed the entire field in black smoke.

"No! I can't see!" Kimiko exclaimed while Gus' fist returned to him while Vulcan's was still holding Lycanine up in a chokehold.

Magma Wilda: 750(+200)= 950 / Rex Vulcan: 600

Lycanine: 650(-400)= 250 / Omega Hydrapent: 1500(-400)= 1100

"Crap... not much I can do with the smoke in the way!" Isolde said.

"Lykie! Where are you!"

"U-up... h-here!" he struggled in between choked gasps of air.

"LET HIM GO!" She demanded through the smoke, directing her order at Gus.

"You're in way over your head if you think you can give orders to me!" he exclaimed.

Isolde eyed Kimiko. "This is ridiculous! Where is your Reversion X ability!"

"I don't know!" she exclaimed in a panic. "It disappeared the first time I used it! And Spectra wouldn't give me the card he used to force himself and Helios into Reversion."

"Wilda, go after that three-headed snake, Ability Activate, Hyper Earth Ball!" Wilda had formed an orange energy core in between his hands, and he soon tossed it right in the direction of where Hydrapent was standing.

Magma Wilda: 950(+500)= 1450 / Omega Hydrapent: 1100(-500)= 600

The Earth ball was speeding to Hydrapent and it made contact, making an electrical explosion that made the Bakugan hiss in pain.

"Kimiko!" She heard Lycanine scream as the grip around his neck was tightening.

Kimiko shook her head and she looked at Isolde. "You've got to help Lycanine! He's choking!"

"Y-yeah, but what can I do!? We can't see through the smoke. All I can do is force Vulcan to use his other gauntlet to defend himself. But with the smoke, I won't get a clear shot."

Kimiko realized she had a solution. "I'm so stupid!" she pulled out a Bakugan trap that she hadn't used for a while. "Here goes! Bakugan Trap, Slambeetle!" she threw her trap into the cloudy sky, and her Subterra, white horned, rhinoceros beetle landed hard on the field.

Magma Wilda: 1450 / Rex Vulcan: 600

Lycanine: 250 / Slambeetle: 500 / Omega Hydrapent: 600

As Slambeetle hit the ground, he opened his wings and flapped them. "Slambeetle, get rid of that arm around Lycanine! Use Magma Bash!" Slambeetle was covered in a rising heat aura and his white horn was glowing as well. The beetle flew into the air above Lycanine who was still being held up in the air by Vulcan's gauntlet. The beetle heaved his horn into Vulcan's fist, immediately making it release its death grip on Lycanine. The gauntlet had flown back to Vulcan as Lycanine hit the ground.

Rex Vulcan: 600(-100)= 500 / Slambeetle: 500(+300)= 800

Right after landing on the ground, Slambeetle had placed himself on Lycanine's back, attached his bug legs to the jackal, extended his wings and the wings flapped, making Lycanine light on his paws. As this happened, both Slambeetle and Lycanine's power levels fused.

Magma Wilda: 1450 / Rex Vulcan: 500

Lycanine-Slambeetle: 1050 / Omega Hydrapent: 600

Lycanine eyed Kimiko. "Thank you for helping me, Kimiko."

She blushed while rubbing the back of her head. "Um... it's no problem, haha."

"You realize that just because you can't use a Reversion form anymore, doesn't mean you're useless. You've beaten Gus without it before. And you will again." Kimiko silently eyed the only two Reversion ability cards she had. Once she closed her eyes, she looked through the smoke that was still blanketing the battlefield.

"Hey, Isolde. Can Hydrapent see through the smoke?" in response, Isolde had put on a pair of futuristic glasses that were tinted blue. They switched to infrared mode and could see the heat signatures of their four opponents.

"Yep, but only Hydrapent can see them, and you can see through these."

"Can I use them?" Isolde handed them to Kimiko, she put them on and saw Clones Mira and Gus along with their Subterra Bakugan. "We need to take them by surprise and beat them enough to take their Bakugan. Those Bakugan don't belong to them!"

"I got ya!" He looked up at Hydrapent. "Ay, Hydrapent. If you can see dem, then hit Wilda with this!" he held up a card "Ability Activate, Refrigerating Beam."

The central head charged up and fired a freezing energy beam that was aimed at Wilda. It shot through the smoke and hit Wilda square in the chest. Spreading ice crystals across the top half of his body. The smoke that was cloaking the field had dissipated and Clone Mira was shocked to see that Wilda's entire body was frozen solid.

Magma Wilda: 1450(-500)= 950 / Omega Hydrapent: 600

Gus raised his gauntlet. "Enough, time to put you down for good, Ability Activate, Hyper Impact!" Vulcan aimed both his fists right at Lycanine and Slambeetle instantly had 500 Gs transferred from them to Vulcan

Rex Vulcan: 600(+500)= 1100 / Lycanine-Slambeetle: 1050(-500)= 550

Vulcan shot his fists at both Bakugan and as the distance closed, Lycanine growled while Kimiko looked ready as the fists swerved around each other and shifted to a pincer formation to take out both Lycanine and Slambeetle.

Kimiko was quick to raise a card to counter, "Here we go, Ability Activate, Iron Enforcement!" as the fists closed in, Slambeetle's horn shone silver before raising a hemispherical barrier that covered both himself and Lycanine, making the fists bounce off and away from Lycanine.

"WHAT!?" almost instantly, 500Gs was added back to Lycanine's power level putting him back at 1050.

"We got him now! Ability Activate, Combustion Boost!" Lycanine's metal leg accents had turned red and sprinted at a very fast speed toward Vulcan right as the silver barrier faded, he was getting faster and faster as the gap closed. And because Vulcan's fists were where most of his power came from, he was left defenseless.

Rex Vulcan: 1100(-150)= 950 / Lycanine-Slambeetle: 550(+150)= 700

"You're done! Lykie, take him down!"

Gus chuckled. "You still don't get how weak you are, do you!?" one fist was able to reconnect with Vulcan's arm. "Allow me to demonstrate! Ability Activate! Mega Viblow!" Vulcan's fist was spinning and was looking to throw a punch at Lycanine's face which nullified his previous power boost.

Rex Vulcan: 1100 / Lycanine-Slambeetle: 550

As the fist was speeding toward both Lycanine and Slambeetle, Kimiko visualized what was happening and she could somehow feel Lycanine bursting through the wind and could feel the spinning fist from Mega Viblow speeding right at her. Right as she knew it was close, she made her move. "Reversion Ability, Anubis Charge!" Vulcan's spinning fist had impacted the skull of Lycanine whose paws were dug deeper into the ground after the impact. As the fist continued spinning, he didn't look to give in and there was a rush of red energy that surrounded his entire body. His fur turned black while his white stripes shifted to orange his eyes shone brightly as he eyed the Viking in front of him.

The ground beneath them shook before they both were engulfed by an explosion of red energy that burst around them, like a tremendous geyser.

Rex Vulcan 1100 / Lycanine-Slambeetle: 550(+750)= 1300

Within the energy geyser, Lycanine was being hovered by Slambeetle and shot himself right at the staggered Vulcan. "This is for last time! DOOM IMPULSE!" Lycanine roared as he sped over to Vulcan at the fastest speed Slambeetle would take him. As this happened, he was surrounded by a magma aura, adding 600 to his power level, putting him at 1900Gs.

He speared right into Vulcan's chest, leaving a dent in his chest as he fell back. The Viking hit the ground hard as he violently rolled right in front of Gus. Right after, he transformed back to his ball form and landed right in front of the Cloned Vestal and watched as his power level fell to 20%.

"B-but how!?"

Isolde smirked. "That's the problem, you're never going to be as good as the real subjects you're based on. Plus, those Bakugan don't even belong to you!"

Clone Mira grit her teeth as she eyed her frozen partner. "Enough talking! Ability Activate, Chest Burn!" Steam formed around Wilda as his chest was glowing and the hot plates were enough to thaw out the ice that was freezing his entire body.

Magma Wilda: 950(+500)= 1450 / Omega Hydrapent: 600

Isolde smiled while shrugging his shoulders. "Oh well... time to go again! Ability Activate, Omega Storm!"

The omega symbol on Hydrapent's head shone bright blue as storm clouds appeared above him and blue thunderbolts were falling all over the field, attempting to strike everything that moved. As the bolts fell all over the field, Wilda was struck by a few of them, making him screech in pain.

Magma Wilda: 1450(-400)= 1050 / Omega Hydrapent: 600(+400)=1000

Mira huffed as she loaded another card. "Ability Activate, Earth Seeker!" Wilda threw his fists onto the ground, making the ground detonate around himself, the entire area shook as the ground was starting to crack. He made the ground around him rise, making large fissures that many abandoned cars were getting dragged into. Omega Hydrapent looked like he was about to fall into one of the chasms that were forming.

"This is not good!" Isolde exclaimed as he and Hydrapent were falling in.

"ISOLDE!" He saw Kimiko on top of Slambeetle and reached her arm out to Isolde, she grabbed onto his hand and pulled with all her might as Slambeetle flew them to safety. "I got you!" she exclaimed as she held onto his arm with both her arms and they managed to land somewhere more stable, Lycanine meanwhile was on another safe piece of land watching the action.

Magma Wilda: 1050(+400)= 1450 / Omega Hydrapent: 1000(-200)= 800

"There's more where that came from!"

Isolde clenched his fist. "Ok... now ya pissed me off! Omega Hydrapent! Subterra Exo!" Hydrapent hissed and the glowing blue accents in his armor shone orange and his eyes shifted to a bright yellow. As this happened, he was shown as an Aquos – Subterra hybrid Bakugan.

"W-wait... how did he pick up the Subterra attribute!?" Mira asked.

"Hydrapent's original form used to be able to change attributes to Subterra before using the catalyst on him. And I thought I could bring that ability back... but he can also use his Aquos abilities too!" he held up a card. "You're going to regret thinking you can use earthquakes to beat me! Ability Activate, Slithering Dash!" Hydrapent threw himself through the many cracks in the ground and was speeding right at Wilda. This only added 250Gs to Hydrapent, putting him at 1050.

"Give me your worst, Ability Activate, Bygrock!" His power level increased by 400Gs meeting a new power level of 1850Gs

His shoulder cannons fired right at Hydrapent who was slithering through cracks and over chasms to reach Wilda. The magma orbs that were fired had made their mark, dousing the area in dust, but Hydrapent was seen slithering through. "HUH!?"

"Got 'em!"

The mechanical, three-headed cobra had wrapped itself around Wilda, restraining the large Bakugan.

"Hydrapent! Constrictor Crunch!" Hydrpent's fangs were shining a radioactive green and each of the heads had bit down onto Wilda's body, breaking through any hard rock and metal that was in the way, spreading neurotoxin through his whole body. "How do you like that, Constrictor Crunch bites into your Bakugan and releases a powerful toxin that I made a while ago into your Bakugan's body, infecting him, making him slower for the rest of the match!"

Magma Wilda: 1850(-500)= 1350 / Omega Hydrapent: 1050(+500)= 1550

Wilda's body was cracking under the pressure.

"NO WILDA!"

Isolde was seen with a devilish smile. "Sorry, fakey... but you know what they say about originals... Ya can't top them... or some other human term. Either way..." he pulled out a Reversion Ability Card. "Your existence is an insult and I'll end it right here! Reversion Ability Activate! Eye of Shi!"

As the cobra was wrapped around the mid-section of Wilda, the eye in the middle of his body opened up and shone dark blue before firing a tremendous purplish beam right in Wilda's back, blinding the entire battlefield in white, blue, and purple energy!"

"NOO WILDA!" Clone Mira screamed as she could feel Wilda's pain going through her back as she fell to her knees. "W-why... why does this hurt...?"

"RAAAAAGH!"

There was an explosion of purple energy that created a tremendous crater where Wilda used to stand. All that stood there was Omega Hydrapent and he hissed loudly.

Magma Wilda: 1350 / Omega Hydrapent: 2350

Wilda was seen speeding over to Isolde's hand and he tightly gripped the Bakugan. "And this bad boi is goin' back to his real owner!"

They all eyed Clone Mira who was starting to disappear slowly. "W-what happening!?" she asked.

"You exist using Reversion Energy... without a partner Bakugan, nothing is holding you together..." Isolde coldly answered, "You must always be close to your Bakugan to exist otherwise you'll fade away... but since I own Wilda now... your fate is sealed!"

"N-no..." she fearfully muttered as she watched her hands slowly disappear. "No, no, NOOOO!" She tried to run to Isolde but she disappeared into nothingness before she could do anything else.

Kimiko went pale and Gus was completely expressionless. "D-did you just...?"

Isolde nodded. "It had to be done..." he said and he held a gate card. "If you don't want ta be here for dis that's fine. I'll take care of Gus... go and help the others."

"NO!" Kimiko said. "I'm going to finish off Gus."

"If you're having a 'hero moment'-!"

"You can stay and jump in... but I must do this. For both me and Lykie! Understand?"

Isolde eyed her and his playful expression returned. "Very well, but I ain't leavin'. So do your thing and kick his ass!"

She nodded and stepped forward to the shell-shocked Gus who angrily grunted. "You think I'm scared... think again!" he tossed a gate card onto the field. "Bakugan Brawl! Stand Vulcan!" Once Vulcan stood he took a hard step forward as thunder roared in the background.

"Kimiko...?" Lycanine asked

"Yes... I'm ready! Bakugan Brawl! Lykie Stand!" Lycanine stood up on the hard ground and let out a growl and glared at the Viking Bakugan.

Rex Vulcan: 800 / Lycanine: 700

Gus immediately went on the attack. "Ability Activate, Heatblast Cannon!" Vulcan's gauntlet had pulled his fists inward and fired a tremendous blast of flames at Lycanine.

"Lykie!" he leaped upward and could see Vulcan making the flames follow him

Rex Vulcan: 800(+600)= 1400 / Lycanine: 700(-600)= 100

Lycanine was engulfed by the flames as he was in the sky.

"Got you!"

Lycanine fell to his feet while the flames covered his body, and he glared right at his opponent as embers were rising off his singed fur. "No effect!?"

"It will take more than that to make me give up!" Lycanine growled.

"Lykie! Use Ground Voltage!" He raised his front paws and slammed them down into the ground, making a purple hemispherical barrier that spread wide and it engulfed Vulcan, instantly stunning him. 250Gs transferred between them putting Vulcan at 1150 while Lycanine was brought up to 350.

Kimiko held a Reversion Ability card along with another card. Double Ability, Volcanic Hail plus Reversion Ability: Osiris Bravery!" Lycanine was covered in a black aura and his eyes turned bright red. Once the power-up was completed, he took a breath and then formed a ball of magma in his mouth that looked to be charging up faster. The magma had a red energy core inside it, as the energy was charging, Kimiko could feel the insides of her mouth heating up for some reason.

"Huh?"

"RAAAAAGHH!" Lycanine was looking to fire a burst of magma at Vulcan.

Rex Vulcan: 1400(-650*2)= 100 / Lycanine: 100

As the beam was charging, Gus smirked. "Reversion Ability Activate, Hyper Viblow!" both his wrist bracers spun fast, making electrical energy surround him and this made an invisible barrier in front of him. "Do your worst! Hyper Viblow will prevent Vulcan from taking damage.

Vulcan's power was increased to 600Gs, and Kimiko saw that her ability would be completely wasted. She thought back to when she had her Reversion Form and was holding her own against Xaramesi of all people on Neathia. And when she used Lycanine's pure power to defeat Gus the last time. "Reversion X disappeared after I used it... after that... I had no idea where to go." she thought back to Aisha and how she helped her and how she was moved by Spectra's words. "In the end, I've always relied on someone else... even Lykie! But though all this... I always needed someone to believe in me before I could believe in myself!" a red aura was slowly building around Kimiko. "It's always someone else... but this time... I must push myself! Because in the end... Lykie has always had the power... but he needs me to reach his full potential." she slowly walked before moving to a jog, once she was at a constant speed, she took off into a full sprint reeled her fist back, and stood right at Vulcan's feet thrusting her fist into the Hyper Viblow.

"WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING!?" Gus exclaimed.

Kimiko had black fur growing on her arms while glowing, orange tiger stripes appeared, shining through her Castle Knight uniform. As the red energy was building, her legs grew the same fur and stripes as well and large paws replaced her feet. As the energy was continuing to grow, a geyser of red energy engulfed Kimiko and Vulcan and as she forced her fist further, the Hyper Viblow was seen cracking.

"NO! YOU CAN'T!"

Jackal ears grew from the top of her head and there were black Egyptian eye markings around her eyes. Her standing paws drove themselves deeper into the ground. "ANUBIS CHAAAAAAAARGE!" The cracks spread more before they instantly shattered, staggering Vulkan. Gus gasped from the shock as he watched Vulcan's power level drop down to 100Gs. But crucially, he was exposed. "Lykie... NOW!"

A huge burst of Magma was seen shooting right at Vulcan, Kimiko leaped up over the magma beam and it engulfed Vulcan and he stepped back as he screamed in pain. Kimiko flipped in the air and landed in front of Lycanine as he transformed into his Reversion Form.

As their energy faded, Kimiko had a card in between her fingers as she leaped onto Lycanine. "Reversion Ability – Ancient Burst!" Both were covered in a magma aura, their eyes and tiger stripes shone bright red. As the magma energy covered them, they sped right to Vulcan.

Rex Vulcan: 100 / Lycanine: 100(+800)= 900

While they rushed their opponents, they saw Gus preparing another ability. "Oh no you don't Ability Activate, Hyper Aegis!"

His right fist started rotating and drove it forward right at the rushing Lycanine. His spinning fist hit the Jackal in the face.

Rex Vulcan: 100(+500)= 600 / Lycanine: 900(-500)= 400

Despite his power level being higher, Vulcan was still being forced back as the magma energy was overwhelming. Once he was struck back. Kimiko leaped off Lycanine and charged forward and clenched her fist. "Magma Force!" she threw her furred fist into the ground, making pillars of red magma shoot out from the ground in a line toward Vulcan and Clone Gus.

Rex Vulcan: 600(-250)= 350 / Lycanine: 400(+550)= 950

Vulcan took cover as the magma exploded around him, however, there was a large figure behind them and it was covered in orange flames. "Ancient Fire!" flames covered Lycanine and he threw himself at both Gus and Vulcan, bashing his head against the hulking Bakugan that threw him onto his stomach. Clone Gus slid onto his back. He looked up to see Kimiko glaring down at him.

Rex Vulcan: 350(-150)= 200 / Lycanine: 950(+450)= 1400

Kimiko knelt and ripped his gauntlet off his arm making him flinch. "What are you doing!?"

"Ending this!" Kimiko replied as she dropped it onto the ground and stepped on it, breaking it into pieces, and shooting sparks. "Look around you!" she exclaimed. "If you think the destruction of people is something worth backing... then I'll gladly cut you down!" Lycanine immediately bit into Vulcan's shoulder while cloaked in a black aura. There was an audible clank and Vulcan screamed as he retreated into his ball form and sped over to Kimiko's palm.

She saw Vulcan's closed ball form on her palm and saw Clone Gus starting to disappear in front of her. As this was happening, Isolde stayed beside her. "Tell me... how did they create you?" Clone Gus glared at him. Kimiko turned away as the cloned Vestal had fully disappeared.

"Kimiko?" she eyed Lycanine who looked down at her. "Are you ok?"

She eyed her hands and saw she was still in her Reversion Form, but as the battle ended, she could feel fatigue hitting her. "Yes... We managed to take back Wilda and Vulcan, and we got our Reversion form back." she could feel herself about to collapse but Isolde caught her just before she wobbled off her feet.

"Kimiko!" Lycanine exclaimed in a panic.

"Don' worry. She's just tired." Isolde answered. Both Lycanine and Kimiko had reverted to their normal forms. Isolde decided to carry Kimiko on his back. "I'll carry her, don't worry. You and Hydrapent can watch our backs. We'll head find out where the rest of the civilians are resting."

Lycanine silently nodded and followed Isolde while Omega Hydrapent slithered behind them.

Elsewhere in Bakugan City, a wolf howled as it stood on a field that was already set. Nightshade breathed as he stood next to Liaru while facing Spinark and Rubanoid.

Spinark: 1000 / Rubanoid: 900

Nightshade: 800 / Flare Liaru: 950

Maia flicked up a card as she was willing to start the battle. "Follow my lead, Sakuya! Ability Activate, Prideful Assault!" Liaru was covered in flames and electric pulses. The lion angrily roared and charged right at Spinark. Liaru's power level increased by 400, putting him at 1350Gs.

Darius took out a card to counter, "Come at me!" he teased as he raised his gauntlet, a card already slotted inside. "Ability Activate, Admiral Shield!" Bright yellow energy was being absorbed into Spinark from the charging Liaru. The energy powered up Spinark, surrounding him with fire and electricity.

Spinark: 1000(+400)= 1400 / Flare Liaru: 1350(-400)= 950

Both Bakugan crashed headfirst into each other and seconds after the impact, Liaru was seen staggering slightly. The hunting Bakugan then swung his tail with so much force that it whipped Liaru back to his side of the field where he rolled and stumbled back onto his feet.

After the first shots of the battle were fired, Cid saw his opportunity to attack. "It's our turn, Rubanoid! Ability Activate, Jewel Deeper!" the crystalline Bakugan hissed, opened its mouth as a bright red and white orb was charging and a beam was discharged right to the recovering Liaru. His power level increased to 400 and was sitting at 1300.

Nightshade glanced down at Sakuya and she struggled to pull out a card but found one she wanted to use. "S-sorry! Ability Activate, Fear Pulse!" Nightshade then leaped in front of Liaru and he fired two shadowy orbs that swirled around each other as they sped to Rubanoid's attack.

Spinark: 1400 / Rubanoid: 1300(-250)= 1050

Nightshade: 800(+250)= 1050 / Flare Liaru: 950

As the two attacks collided, they blanketed the area, briefly in black smoke. As it cleared, there was growling as Nightshade shot through the smoke, and swiped his paw at Rubanoid, making the Bakugan stagger back. Rubanoid countered by throwing his knee right into the wolf, making him whine and fall.

"Hey Sakuya, I need you to distract Spinark. I've got a plan for him!" she saw the fearful look on her face. Her thoughts immediately went to asking Reiko to help, and while she was more than willing to help, she'd need to give Reiko full control. Something she didn't feel ready for. So, she shook her head and psyched herself out. She gave a defiant nod.

She pulled out a card soon after. "A-ability Activate... Punishing Flames!" as the card shone purple, Nightshade surrounded himself in crimson flames that increased his power level by 200, making him sit at 1250. "and... Shadow Shift!" Nightshade slowly melted into his own shadow and disappeared from everyone's view.

Spinark: 1400 / Rubanoid: 1050

Nightshade: 1250(+400 +200)= 1850 / Flare Liaru: 950

Sid and Darius saw Sakuya whispering into Maia's ear before she perked up for a second. "Oh right, she said that Punishing Flames adds an extra 200 to all her abilities for the rest of the battle! Nice plan Sakuya!"

Sid growled. "That wolf is becoming too powerful, we've got to shut it down!"

Though Darius didn't look concerned. "Chill Sid... look at her..." he gestured to Sakuya's shivering figure. "She might have battled before but look at her, she's never fought in a situation like this..." they both could see a shadow running in circles around them and their Bakugan. "She's overthinking, and that will be her downfall! Check this out! Reversion Ability Activate, Leviathan!" The air was starting to thin around them as vapors could be seen being absorbed by Spinark's body. Specifically, all the power from both Liaru and the shadowy form of Nightshade.

Spinark: 1400(+1050)= 2450 / Rubanoid: 1050

Nightshade: 800 / Flare Liaru: 950

Sakuya looked terrified as the shadowy form of Nightshade sped toward Spinark. But the Spinosaur had headbutted the shadow form of Nightshade and after this, he bit down on the neck and used his incredible neck strength to toss the Bakugan right into a surprised Liaru. Sending them both flying back into the bottom of a construction building.

"Liaru!" Maia exclaimed, Sakuya was terrified at what happened but was startled further by a sharp head pain that reminded her that Reiko was on her case about what just happened. Maia was quick to grab Sakuya's hand. "C'mon, we've got to get to them!"

"Whoa!" Sid exclaimed. "How the hell did you do that!?"

Darius climbed onto the back of Spinark. "I'm not on the High Council for nothing! Now... are we going to finish them off before they get away?" Rubanoid picked up Sid and the Bakugan looked at the construction building. "Let's try to make this quick."

...

As both girls got to the damaged construction site, they both saw Liaru holding what looked like many heavy parts of the building on his back while Nightshade was in front of him.

"This is just perfect!" Maia droned. "If Liaru moves, this entire building will fall apart, and he's not powerful to just vaporize the building debris..." she scratched her head as she tried to come up with a plan to get them out of their current situation. "Damnit!"

As this happened, both Spinark and Rubanoid arrived on the scene. "I'd say this is a good time to surrender..." Darius said. "But you both had your chance."

Maia stood in front of Liaru. "Then why don't you come here and do your worst! Real close!"

"Yeah, I'm not fallin' for that-!"

"T-Terrifying Glare!" Nightshade stood on the ground and suddenly, chains exploded from under Spinark and tied themselves around him.

"Hmm?"

Spinark: 2450(-500)= 1950 / Rubanoid: 1050

Nightshade: 800(+200)= 1000 / Flare Liaru: 950

Once Spinark was bound by the chains, Maia was filled with glee. "Woohoo! Time, I tagged in. Liaru might be stuck here, but he doesn't need to move to do this!" she flicked two different cards in front of her. "Double Ability Activate, Flaming Bellow plus Fusion Ability Comet Streak!" Liaru's eyes turned red as a raging electrical aura surrounded him. Soon after a bright yellow fire surrounded him. This inadvertently meddled with the structural integrity of the small building that Liaru had to hold up, but this attack didn't require him to move, and his target was trapped in chains, unable to move.

Spinark 1950 / Flare Liaru: 950(+500 +550)= 2000

Liaru opened his mouth and there were mostly bright yellow flames that were building up, and they managed to light up both Darius and Sid's side of the battlefield. "Oh... that's gonna hurt." An explosive burst of fire was shot right from his mouth and the exploding rush of flames was speeding right to Spinark.

"Rubanoid! Ability Activate, Crimson Defense!" Rubanoid shot himself in front of the flames and as he arrived there, his entire body was surrounded in a bright red sheen that made him immune to the explosive flames that were heating his entire body.

Maia cringed as she saw Liaru's power fall to 950Gs. "Ah you've got to be-"

"I'm not finished yet!" Sid smugly said. "Ability Activate, Scarlet Plate!" Rubanoid formed bright red, ruby hexagons in front of him. Each of them produced their own electrical pulse that combined with the others to make a circle of electrical energy. These Pulses combined to create a red and white energy orb that was charging.

"Crap, this isn't good! Sakuya... any ideas! Sakuya!?" she got no response from the wolf girl as she was trapped within her thoughts of what she should do... but Sid didn't give her time as he threw his fist forward.

"Get 'er partner!" he fired the white/red orb at the trapped Liaru who helplessly watched the energy blast consume him. The explosion was tremendous as the entire building shook.

Rubanoid: 1050(+300) =1350 / Flare Liaru: 950(-350)= 600

It was seen that Maia's life gauge had fallen to 25% as the building had fully collapsed under both her and her partner Liaru. When the dust cleared, all Sakuya could see was the massive amounts of rubble that Maia and her partner were trapped under.

"MAIA!" Sakuya screamed.

"I wouldn't worry too much wolfy." Darius cheered. "You'll be joining her!"

Sakuya could feel a tear falling down her cheek as she saw that her hand was being guided by another to use two Abilities.

"Double Ability Activate... Fatal Nightmare... plus Soul Eater!"

Nightshade's two rows of back fur stood up on end as his entire body was covered in a bright purple aura. Plus, he was absorbing energy from the trapped Spinark and his mouth was filling up with purple and white energy.

Spinark: 1950(-400)= 1550 / Rubanoid: 1350

Nightshade: 1000 (+500 +400 +200)= 2100

As the energy was charging Sid eyed Darius who had his arms folded. "Um... aren't you going to do anything!?"

Darius put another card into his gauntlet. "Well, you got a takedown... can't let you have all the fun I suppose! Reversion Ability Activate! Spinal Fury!" there were blue energy cuts that slashed right through the chains, immediately freeing Spinark. Once he was free, both he and Darius shifted into their Reversion forms and his massive energy fin as well as his diverged spins were glowing brightly he then shot forward and rolled right at Nightshade who was unprepared for the sudden attack.

Spinark: 1550 / Nightshade: 2100(-900)= 1200

Spinark rapidly rolled right at Nightshade, who was immediately cut through and fell forward. "Nightshade!" she cried.

Darius threw his hand up. "Now, Aquos Squall!" Spinark roared and the already light rain had intensified into a heavy rainstorm.

Spinark: 1550(+500)= 2050 / Nightshade: 1200

Spinark went in for another rolling attack, but his speed and power were increased under the rain. "W-what do I do? What can I do..." she saw she only had one card left and it was her Reversion Ability. "Reversion Ability Activate, Extri-" *SHATTER* Sakuya was flabbergasted to see that the Reversion ability card that was right in front of her had imploded right before her eyes as it tried to activate... An act that has never happened before... "Nightshade... why?"

Spinark rolled right into Nightshade, cutting through him. The wolf retreated to his compressed ball form soon after. He bounced right to Sakuya's feet as her life gauge had fallen to 15%.

Rubanoid turned to his ball form and returned to Cid and Darius eyed him. "Nice going, Cid."

"Hah, of course, I could handle it!"

Sakuya gently picked up Nightshade and eyed both Sid and Darius as she had a gate card in between her fingers. However, she was shaking in fear, the tears were welling up in her eyes as she realized that the others were wrong about her. Xaramesi's plan to have Sakuya battle all by herself had failed, not only that, but her fear was holding her back from even moving. "I-I have to do this... otherwise... Xaramesi won't ever have faith in me again."

"THAT'S ENOUGH!"

Nightshade, suddenly opened his ball form, creating a purple flashing light that nearly blinded everyone...

...

As the flash subsided, Sakuya found herself in a space that had blue skies with some clouds peppering the sky. As she got up. She found herself stepping in ripples of water, when she eyed her reflection in the water, she could see Reiko with her arms folded and giving her a disappointed look. "What are you doing, Sakuya?"

"KYAA!" Sakuya screamed as she fell onto her backside. "R-Reiko?"

"Are you trying to get yourself killed out there? I know you're trying your best... but you've never been ready to face someone as tough as Darius!"

"I-I just thought I- Xaramesi had faith in me... I can't quit now!"

Reiko let out a frustrated sigh. "Let me lay some truth on you that both you and Xaramesi seem to have miscalculated."

"What are you talking about?"

"Nightshade... he isn't used to you." Sakuya gasped and let Reiko continue. "Sure, it may be the body he's used to... but that whole time... even I could tell, he could feel something was... off. It's mostly been me he's fought side by side with."

"B-but I though he knew about our... condition..."

"He does but... who does all the battling again? His bond though combat has always been through me, and I hate to say it... you fight like a timid rabbit Alursian."

Sakuya fell to her knees. "S-so... if even Nightshade can't fight with me... what- what good am I?"

"Sakuya."

"Xaramesi wanted me to prove I could do it on my own... and I even messed that up. Nightshade doesn't want me... and Xaramesi doesn't need me... I'm just... I can't do anything right!"

*SLAP*

Sakuya saw her reflection suddenly kneeling in front of her, giving her a stern look after slapping her in the face. "Get it together, woman! You're not useless, but there's a reason I'm here remember? To handle the situations, you can't."

"B-but... I can't let you hold my hand forever..."

"Then what's the alternative? Getting killed!?" Reiko's raised voice startled Sakuya, so she tried to tone it down. "Look... you're not as awful as you say you are. You're using your voice more and can communicate your feelings better. But this isn't your thing, battling is my thing and that's ok. Let me do my thing. And after that... I'll give you your body back, it is yours after all, I'm only squatting here." she extended her hand, for a handshake.

Sakuya eyed Reiko's hand and she gave a single nod as her alter-ego helped her up to her feet. "Ok... I trust you." she shook Reiko's hand, and the area darkened to an orange, dusk sky. Sakuya saw that Reiko's appearance was altered from just copying her look. The underside of her long hair, the tips of her ears, and the tip of her wolf tail were maroon. Her eyes were red, with the usual red ring turning purple while her sclera remained bright yellow.

Sakuya eyed Reiko and noticed she was behind an invisible barrier that separated both her and Reiko. She pressed her hand on the barrier that made water ripples. Reiko put her hand on the same spot and for the first time gave Sakuya a genuine smile. "I'll be back Sakuya, I promise. You can sleep or watch if you want. Just relax and let me get to work." She turned and walked through the mindscape, slowly disappearing.

...

There was some sinister feminine laughing from the spot where Sakuya stood. There was a red mist that covered her, and she swiped it away as she held Nightshade. She eyed both Darius and Sid.

"Hmm... consider my interest piqued," Darius said with a smirk.

Reiko's smirk turned to a scowl as she eyed the Fabregan. "You better hope I don't get to tear you apart. You hurt Sakuya, and I don't forgive so easily!"

Behind her, there was rumbling and there was an explosion of light as both Liaru and Maia threw off the debris that covered them. Both were in their Reversion Forms. They both angrily roared as yellow flames surrounded them.

Reiko looked behind her. "Someone's in good spirits," she remarked with a smirk.

"Huh? Who are you?" she questioned. "You look and sound... different."

"Sakuya is... taking a break. I'm Reiko."

"Huh? Oh right, I've heard of you. Separate personality, right?"

"Sort of... but..." she sighed. "I'm gonna need some help."

"Bakugan Brawl!" Cid and Reiko threw their Bakugan onto the field, meeting both the Reversion Bakugan of Spinark and Flare Liaru.

Spinark: 1200 / Rubanoid: 900

Nightshade: 800 / Flare Liaru: 1150

Cid smirked as he had a card that mimicked the look of a Forbidden Card. "Ability Activate, Reversion X!" Cid smirked as his hands became encased in ruby and gold crystals that had the same sharp fingers as Rubanoid, he grew the same ruby wings and the gold crystals that appeared on Rubanoid's chest. He grew Rubanoid's tail too. His new power level was 1100.

He took a breath, and he smirked as there were shards of gold and ruby growing from his face. "Heh," he raised his gauntlet. Reversion Ability Activate! Corundum Assault!" both Rubanoid and Sid's claws were covered in a rapid white and red energy. They both shot forward toward Reiko. His power increased by 500, putting him at 1600.

Maia stood in front of Reiko. "Hmm, that's all you can do? Ability Activate, Sunflare Claws!" Maia and Liaru shot forward, both their claws stretched outward while surrounded by flames.

Rubanoid: 1600(-300)= 1300 / Flare Liaru: 1150(+300)= 1450

All four combatants met in the middle, Liaru with Rubanoid and Maia with Sid as their claws clashed together, releasing sparks and embers upon impact. But with Maia having the advantage, she and Liaru were able to push their larger foes backward.

Darius chuckled. "Looks like you could use some help, big guy. Ability Activate, Spine Fire!" Spinark arched his back forward and his needle-sharp spines had moved before they were rapidly firing energy needles at both Liaru and Nightshade.

Both Sid and Rubanoid had made sure to avoid the needles, leaving Maia, Liaru, and Nightshade in the firing line.

Spinark: 1200(+500)= 1700 / Rubanoid: 1300

Nightshade: 800(-500)= 300 / Flare Liaru: 1450(-500)= 950

Maia held up a card in retaliation. "Sakuya-"

"Reiko!"

"Whatever... be ready to hit them with something after I use this! Arcane Armor!" Translucent, yellow armor appeared to cover both Maia and Liaru and they made sure to cover both Reiko and Nightshade. Their power increased by 400, putting them at 1350. "NOW!" she exclaimed.

Reiko was already on top of Nightshade. "As if I needed an invitation! Ability Activate, Terrifying Glare!" Nightshade stomped on the ground and dark purple energy chains shot out from the ground and tied up Spinark, forcing him to stop using his ability, bringing his power down by 500, reducing it to 1200. "And there's more where that came from! Double Ability Activate, Punishing Flames-"

Nightshade shot up and over Liaru and covered himself in crimson flames, bringing his power up to 500Gs. "Plus Soul Eater!" Nightshade landed in front of Liaru and it appeared as though Spinark's shadow was being absorbed by Nightshade with a devastating howl, he fired a bright purple energy beam from his maw right at Darius, rather than the chained-up Spinark. The power increasing even more due to the added effect of Punishing Flames.

Spinark: 1200(-400)= 800 / Nightshade: 500(+400 +200)= 1100

The beam sped right at him but his confident expression never left. "You forgot to nullify my Reversion Abilities, didn't you?" He held up a gauntlet. "Reversion Ability Activate, Deep Hunter!" Darius waited for the attack to come his way and he simply slapped it away from him as water splashed right where his hand met the attack. Everyone on the field was surprised at the display of sheer power. With a chuckle, he sunk into the ground, as if he was submerging underwater, leaving a water ripple where he formerly stood.

Reiko angrily looked around, trying to see where Darius disappeared to, but she was shocked further to see that Nightshade's power level was down to 100Gs. She felt a hand grab onto her ankle and she was dragged underwater. Once she was submerged, she saw Reversion Darius grinning at her. He clasped his hands around her throat. Reiko was trying to break his grip but only felt his hands tighten.

Darius' smirk suddenly disappeared when he felt pain from Spinark due to his reversion sync. He released his grip and surfaced; Reiko was trying to swim upward but she saw Maia dive in after her. Gundalian grabbed her hand and pulled her up. They both surfaced and climbed up to the ground. Reiko was coughing out water. They both saw Liaru bashing the chained-up Spinark, but he was forced back by Darius.

Once Reiko's coughing fit ended, she eyed her savior. "T-thanks... guy tried to kill me back there!"

Maia stood up. "Well then it's time we stop holding back... not that I was, to begin with, but now they're asking for it!" she held her hand out, and sparks of bright yellow electricity formed, and it looked like her battle gear was being built. "Perks of being a Gundalian." she swiped it with her free hand. "Battle Gear Boost!" she tossed her battle gear and Neo Barias had attached itself to Liaru who appeared by her side. Liaru's power was increased by 100, putting him at 1450.

Cid smirked. "You're not the only one with battle gear, runt!" he extended his hand and emulated what Maia did and he built his Rubanoid's Destrakon. "Battle Gear Boost!" he tossed it where it attached to the back of Rubanoid, increasing his power to 1400.

Darius then spun his trident and he cut through the chains that were holding down his partner. The dinosaur roared angrily as he was finally freed.

Reiko who was still recovering, leaned on Nightshade's leg, she thought back to when Darius strangled her, and the smirk he had on his face when he did it. Something inside her was enraged with the Fabregan, as his actions by extension would have killed Sakuya. "I never want to feel that helpless ever again!" she thought. "And he would have taken Nightshade... and probably experimented on him! Just the thought of that!"

"Reiko!" she heard from Sakuya.

"What did I say? Let me do my thing. I've got this!"

"I believe you, but you're not alone. You have Maia... but more importantly, you've got Nightshade by your side." The wolf Bakugan in question was growling in anger and Reiko didn't even notice. "He feels your anger."

"So, what does that mean?"

"I think you already know. Whatever you are feeling at that moment, m-maybe act on it?"

Reiko pulled out a card and held it up and it shone with a Darkus glow. "Ability Activate, Extirpating Gravity!" As the card was active, a gravity hemisphere covered both Reiko and Nightshade. Once they were covered, everything and everyone was being pulled in by its gravitational pull.

Sid held onto anything that was anchored to the ground while Darius righted himself by impaling his trident into the earth. Even Rubanoid and Spinark were struggling to prevent themselves from being sucked in.

Maia was closest to the gravity sphere but neither she nor Liarus felt the gravitational pull. "What is she planning?" Liaru asked. His partner only responded with a shoulder shrug. "But I say we help Reiko out a bit. Ability Activate, Igniting Thunder!" an electrical charge that surrounded both Maia and Flare Liaru, and after a few seconds of charging, they discharged an 'X' shaped electrical blast at both Cid and Rubanoid.

Spinark: 800 / Rubanoid: 1400(-250)= 1150

Nightshade: 100 / Flare Liaru: 1450(+250)= 1700

The electrified attacks were speeding right to the enemy pair. Rubanoid stepped in front of Cid and took the electrical bursts himself, leaving him paralyzed, sparks of electricity were surging from his body.

Cid glared at his fellow Gundalian. "You've done it now! Ability Activate, Jewel Deeper!" he threw his ruby hands forward and charged a white-red energy orb before blasting it in a beam right at Liaru and Maia, increasing his power by 400, putting him at 1550. However, the energy beam looked to bend in mid-air as it then orbited around the gravity hemisphere that Reiko and Nightshade created. "HUH!?"

"Tch!" Darius clicked and he lifted his trident out of the ground. "Then we've got to put an end to that Alursian and her wolf pet!" he leaped up high into the air and was falling toward the gravity sphere, trident first. As he was deep inside the Darkus energy, he felt something completely stop his momentum. Because it was flooded with black and purple energy, he couldn't see much, but within the darkness, he could somehow see what looked like twenty pairs of eyes glaring right at him. The gravity sphere started to dissipate and from the darkness, Reiko was revealed to have taken a new form.

She had black and maroon accented fur over her whole body, she had two wolf tails and her most distinguishing feature was that on her shoulders and thighs, there were wolf heads with orange glowing eyes that showed malice. The underside of her black hair was still colored maroon. It was revealed that one of the wolf head on Reiko's left shoulder had grabbed onto the Trident.

Darius was shocked by the transformation. "What in Shi's Trident!" The head blasted a purplish-maroon energy beam that shot Darius back up into the sky.

The Fabregan flipped and landed hard on the ground and watched Reiko fully dissipate the gravity sphere. Nightshade appeared and he was standing on his two feet, and had the same wolf heads as Reiko. His fur was black and purple with maroon accents. Nightshade let out a loud howl as the wolf heads on his body howled too.

Spinark: 800 / Rubanoid: 1550

Nightshade: 100(+200)= 300 / Flare Liaru: 1700

"Well, you look different," Maia commented. "But is it, Sakuya or Reiko in there."

"Still Reiko," she answered with an eye-roll. "But I've got Sakuya to thank for this." she pulled out a Reversion ability card. "We're turning this around! Reversion Ability Activate, Fear Pack!" both Reiko and Nightshade had gotten on all fours, and the whole area became covered in a maroon mist, cloaking both Reiko and Nightshade.

Howling could be heard and Reiko was seen charging at Darius while on all fours. She tried to claw at him but he swatted her away with his trident. Though the assault wasn't done as a smoky maroon figure shaped like Reiko had slashed him from the side, dazing him for a moment. Opening the door for two more to come at him. He kicked one of them and impaled the other with his Trident. One more sped to him, but he was once again hurt as Spinark we getting swarmed by four smoky maroon Nightshades. The real Nightshade was engulfed in a dark red aura and he cut right though Spinark making the dinosaur roar in pain.

Spinark: 800(-450)= 350 / Nightshade: 300(+350)= 750

Cid slotted a Reversion Ability into his gauntlet. "Your Reversion is nothing to me! Reversion Ability Activate! Crystal Jail!" a large ruby dome had covered the entire field, covering Nightshade and Flare Liaru as well. Cid punched the ground hard, spreading red shockwaves that looked to freeze Reiko, Nightshade, Flare Liaru, and Maia in place as they had shards of ruby crystal covering their legs and arms. "Good luck moving! Crystal Jail Nullfies your abilities and prevents you all from moving!"

"Crap!" Reiko exclaimed as Darius approached her. Spinark's power was back up to 800 while Nightshade was back down to 300.

"That's the last cheap shot you get against-"

"Battle Gear Ability Activate!" Maia exclaimed as she raised her hand skyward with a Battle Gear Ability Card in between her fingers. "Neo Barias Lightning!" While Liaru's movement was hindered, the battle gear managed to aim upward at an angle and it charged, it opened its energy ports before firing two tremendous beams of bright yellow energy. They both shot right through the ruby dome, immediately shattering the entire structure. The shards of crystal that grew on Reiko, Nightshade, Liaru, and Maia flaked off them. Nightshade and Reiko's power was restored while Liaru's power increased by 500

Spinark: 350 / Rubanoid: 1550

Nightshade: 750 / Flare Liaru: 1700(+500)= 2200

Darius had a card in his gauntlet ready as the ruby shards were falling to the ground. "Ability Activate, Dark Water!" his card shone and there was a large wave of dark water that was looming over the entire field.

Maia's pupils shrunk as the tide was approaching."Are you kidding me-!?"

The dark water splashed over and engulfed everyone on the field.

Spinark: 350(+400)= 750 / Rubanoid: 1550

Nightshade: 750(-400)= 350 / Flare Liaru: 2200(-400)= 1800

The water swept them far away and across the deserted streets of Bakugan City. The black water rained down on Darius and Cid as they watched their opponents get swept away. "Those two are pretty annoying," Cid said.

"But they are on their last legs. So we need to finish the job." Darius leaped onto his partner Bakugan. "We've got to hurry before they recover. Dark water will prevent them from using their Darkus and Pyrus abilities. So Nightshade and wolf girl are shut down and Liaru will only be half as strong without its Pyrus power. He tapped on Spinark and the Spinosaurus sped off while Rubanoid followed behind.

Within Maxus Cybertross, Daro was rapidly typing on the main keyboard while changing several settings and properly calibrating the Maxus system for combat. 'Maxus system, calibrated for Air, Ground dual combat. Power Level stabilizing at 2250.' He folded the keyboard out of the way. "After I bury you three... the rest of your pathetic resistance will follow!" Daro slid a card into the center. "Ability Activate, Trojan Tackle!" arches of purple electricity surrounded the entire machine, and the boosters powered by Ventus Pterodactylizer ignited purple energy. Pushing Maxus Cybertross' entire frame toward the group, specifically Cera and Lunaris.

Maxus Cybertross: 2250(+350)= 2600

Lunaris: 950(-450)= 500 / Solaria: 750 / Infinity Helios: 1200

As Cybertross boosted forward, Cera flicked a card immediately as she transformed into her Reversion Form. "Ability, Peering Hypnosis!" Eyes opened on Lunaris' wings as they shone purple. They slowed down Cybertross as he got closer to her. Both flew at Cybertross. Lunaris's hand springing over while Cera flew in between the legs of the automaton. Once they were both behind Cybertross, they both summoned their bows at the same time while they were still being pushed back by their momentum. "Lunar Arrow!" they both chanted as they pulled back and a purple arrow formed. They released their plasma bow strings, sending the sharp projectiles flying to Cybertross.

Maxus Cybertross: 2600(-450 -350 -400)= 1750 / Lunaris: 500(+450 +400)= 1350

The arrows struck the back of the machine, staggering both Cybertross and Daro. Spectra held a card and held it up. "Show him what real power is, Helios! Ability Activate, Mauser Impact!" his stomach armor opened and a magenta beam was charging from a large cannon port. Helios laughed as he discharged the beam right at the staggered machine

Maxus Cybertross: 1750(-600)= 1150

Lunaris: 1350 / Solaria: 750 / Infinity Helios: 1200

Daro watched the beam close in. "Stop the attack, Foxtrot! Ability Activate, Spirit Protection!" He slid a card onto the console, and it shone bright yellow. The right fox leg sparked with bright yellow electricity, and it formed a bright yellow sheen around his entire body which made Helios' attack engulf him, but it didn't affect him at all. His power increased by 500, putting him back up to 1650.

Solaria flew up with Vesta on her shoulder. "Ok Solaria let's-!"

"AAAAAAAHHH!" she turned and saw a large black wave of water surging through the streets, and she caught a glimpse of Maia and Liaru in the water. "H-her!" she then looked down at both Cera and Spectra who heard the screaming too.

"Go!" Cera exclaimed as she held her bow. "We'll take it from here! Help them!"

"Thanks!" She and Vesta started to fly from the stadium.

"You're not going ANYWHERE!" Daro exclaimed. Ability Activate, Gattling Spread!" Cybertross' right arm which was wrapped by the mechanical cobra, transformed into a rotary minigun. Daro had a headset that placed a targeting reticule in front of his right eye. He was trying to lock onto Solaria and Vesta, but he was hit from behind with another arrow. Shifting the large frame, allowing Solaria to get out of range. He turned Cybertross toward Cera. "I'll rip you apart you little runt!" He pressed the trigger on the joystick and fired the Gattling Spread as Cera immediately flew fast to avoid the gunfire. Cybertross Instantly increased his power level by 600 putting his power level at 2250Gs.

Cera eyed Spectra who nodded, and he decided to step back. Flames surrounded both him and Helios. There was an explosion of dark flames and Daro was blinded by the flash for a moment before he saw Spectra and Helios in their Reversion Forms. Spectra's hair was being pushed up by the energy flowing beneath him. The eye beneath his mask was glowing red. "So Cera, what do you say we stress test this machine."

Lunaris and Cera surrounded themselves in bright purple energy, before a cocoon formed around them. It exploded, leaving pink and purple butterflies in their wake. Both were revealed to be in their Ascended Reversion Forms. In response to Spectra's Question, she only nodded.

Daro gripped his controls. "COME ON! I'LL BURY YOU ALL!"

The wave of dark water was still surging through the city and once it started to disperse. Maia and Reiko were revealed to be in the city center. Both Nightshade and Flare Liaru had surfaced as the water slowed. They were seen protecting their Bakugan partners.

"Hika- Maia, are you ok?" Liaru asked. The Gundalian in question stood up and she shook her entire body as she was on all fours. The mane around her neck puffed instantly.

"Ow... I think a grazed a rock back there." She saw a long scar across her arm that was healing. "That accelerated Reversion healing is the real deal." Nightshade threw a large rock off both himself and Reiko. He growled and got up. "Hey, Reiko. You hurt?"

The girl got up and bent her back where an audible crack was heard. "Ugh... nothing hurt besides my pride... That Darius is tough, he must have had a lot of practice with that Reversion of his."

"Think we can beat them?"

In front of them, they could see both Rubanoid and Spinark speeding toward them. "No idea, but it's not like we can run anyway. So, what do you think... double team the dino?"

"Not like we've got another plan."

Spinark: 750 / Rubanoid: 1550

Nightshade: 350 / Flare Liaru: 1800

Darius was seen holding up a gauntlet, and the ability cards shone blue. "Pressure Cyclone plus Fusion Ability - Daedalus!" Spinark and Darius' bodies were surrounded by a dark and bright blue draconic energy and they sped right at Flare Liaru to bring their power down.

Spinark: 750(+400)= 1150 / Flare Liaru: 1800(-400)= 1400

Maia stood her ground. "Careful, Hikari."

"We've got a higher power level, we'll be fine!"

As they both got close, Darius charged forward first, and he shifted into his water form and created a tornado of water that surrounded them. Maia and Flare Liaru started to become quickly fatigued. Flare Liaru's power was rapidly falling.

"Oh, crap!"

Spinark was speeding right at her, both Nightshade and Reiko were too far to help.

"SUN SPEEDSTER!" A bright yellow figure speared into the side of Spinark which threw him off and sent him sliding to the side. At the same time, Darius found himself being grabbed and he caught a glimpse of Vesta before he was out of his water form and was spun around thanks to Vesta's momentum. She spun him so fast that he appeared to be a blue ring.

Darius was heavily tossed through a whole building and crashed into a second one.

Spinark: 750 / Rubanoid: 1550

Nightshade: 350 / Flare Liaru: 600 / Solaria: 750(+200)= 950

"Whoa..." Maia breathed. "Thanks for the assist... Liaru and I were losing power, we would have been toast for sure."

Cid angrily held his gauntlet up. "Let's see you try to stop this! Battle Gear Ability Activate, Destrakon Gear Brinel!" the Destrakon serpents on his head, all fired bright red energy beams forward at Solaria. Rubanoid's power increased by 400, which put him up to 1950.

Reiko walked forward. "'Scuse me! Reversion Ability Activate, Soul Devour!" Reiko took a deep breath and the wolf's heads on both her and Nightshade watched the battle gear beams speed toward them. Nightshade got in front of the beams and looked to tank the attacks. Engulfing him in Pyrus energy and the open wolf heads were seen absorbing the energy. Both Vesta and Maia had taken cover since the light was blinding. Once it faded, they saw both Nightshade and Reiko covered in a glowing red aura while their fur was frizzing with red fiery energy.

Spinark: 750 / Rubanoid: 1950(-800)= 1150

Nightshade: 350(+400)= 750 / Flare Liaru: 600 / Solaria: 950

Because the attribute energy was absorbed from Rubanoid, his entire body turned white, and looked like he barely had any energy.

"What's happening, Rubanoid?" Cid himself felt weak and he fell to his knees and he slowly saw Reiko walking toward him with red flaming sparks surrounding her. She and Nightshade were surrounded by flames.

"We absorbed your attribute energy... you're both going to be powerless for some time. Giving me time to do this! Shadow Shift!" She and Nightshade disappeared from his view.

"Where did they-!"

He heard a presence behind him. "Boo," she whispered, she swung her leg and kicked Cid in the Face and sent him flying into a building where his momentum was roughly stopped.

Rubanoid: 1150 / Nightshade: 750(+400)= 1150

Reiko held another card. "Finish 'em nightshade, Soul Eater!" Nightshade was seen absorbing more energy all four wolf heads were absorbing whatever energy Rubanoid had left. The four wolf heads opened their maws and Nightshade opened his and all of them were charging white orbs before firing five bright purple energy blasts that engulfed Rubanoid who was sent right to where Sid was. The clone Gundalian had narrowly dived out of the way as Rubanoid had destroyed the building he was flung to.

Rubanoid: 1150(-400)= 750 / Nightshade: 1150(+400)= 1550

Cid's life gauge was down to 20% as Rubanoid and Clone Cid reverted to their base forms.

Reiko smirked. "See ya, wouldn't want to be ya!" as the clouds hung over the sky, the rain started again to fall pelting the entire area with rain. "Not good, I'm gonna be smelling like wet dog now."

She sensed something to her side and blocked a trident that was about to impale her with her elongated claws. As Spinark's roar was heard, the rainstorm intensified. She saw Spinark about to swing his tail into Nightshade.

Spinark: 750(+500)= 1350 / Nightshade: 1550

Reiko disappeared into the shadows and forced Nightshade to disappear as well. In about a second, they both appeared by Vesta and Maia.

"I've had enough of this guy!" Maia said. "Let's triple-team him in one go!"

"Then I'll put him off balance!" Vesta exclaimed. Both she and Solaria had changed to their Darkus Succubus forms.

"W-whoa... when could you do that!?" Maia exclaimed in shock.

"Solaria and I only used the Darkus Reversion form once before. But you guys should get ready to feel Weightless. "Reversion Ability – Gravity Drive!"

Solaria's eyes shone purple for a second. "Um... I've got no line for this so... uh... Gravity go bye-bye!" Everyone was floating above the ground uncontrollably, and the rain stopped falling and appear as water droplets floating in a zero-g environment."

"W-what!?" Darius exclaimed as 650Gs was added to Solaria's power level, putting her at 1550Gs.

Maia smirked as bright sparks surrounded her. "Here goes nothing! Reversion Ability Activate, Pure Energy Strike!" she stumbled as she and Liaru were charging their attacks. "Had to take away all the gravity didn't you?"

"Hikari... grab me!" After Hikari had grabbed onto Liaru's mane, the lion shot up into the sky and was hovering over both Darius and Spinark. "Drop us!"

Solaria smiled and she swung her hand down and Liaru's gravity returned, and he became a bright yellow roaring, energy lion that was falling toward Spinark.

Darius glared up at Liaru. "Do your worst! Reversion Ability Activate, Paranormal Ripple!" all the accents on Spinark's body were shining blue, and his body let out a distorted ripple that expanded out like a shockwave. Suddenly he leaped up with the shockwaves and he headbutted the diving Liaru in the melee. Darius then tossed his Trident right at Maia, and it had the same energy that Liaru generated when he used his Pure Energy Strike along with the celestial tails that followed it.

Spinark: 1350(+650)= 2000 / Flare Liaru: 1550

It heavily grazed the side of her mid-section, making a substantial cut. This drew blood that splashed lightly after the cut. "OWWWWWW! YOU SON OF A-" Her broken focus immediately shifted both her and Flare Liaru out of her Reversion form.

"MAIA!" Sakuya screamed out in Reiko's head, causing the aggressive personality to hold her head in pain. She growled at Daro as this battle was still distressing Sakuya, despite her not fighting in it.

"CRAP!" Vesta exclaimed as she flew up and caught Maia Flare Liaru had turned back to his ball form and shot himself back to both Maia and Vesta. Maia's life gauge was fully depleted, taking her out of the battle.

"OW Dammit, he got me!" Maia hissed.

Reiko glared at Darius as he landed back on the ground with his partner. "Vesta, I need you to nullify him somehow."

Vesta and Solaria shifted back to their Haos fairy forms. Vesta immediately went to try to use her Haos energy to heal Maia's wound. "Can't you see I'm busy here?!"

Solaria glared at Darius. "Then I'll help, Mama can stay back and heal!" Solaria aimed her hands upward. "This'll also heal everyone! My Reversion Ability, Blue Moon!" Solaria hovered up high. The storm clouds quickly cleared, revealing a blue full moon behind a night sky that let its healing energy shine down on everyone on Solaria's side including the injured Maia.

The moonbeams had also frozen both Darius and Spinark, which allowed both Reiko and Nightshade to make their move. "I'm coming for you, FABREGAN SCUM!" she howled and both she and Nightshade leaped high up as the gravity was still weak. "Reversion Ability – EXTRIFLARE!" as they were both hanging in the sky, they were surrounded by a white energy spark that exploded into a tremendous maroon/purple hemisphere of Darkus energy that spread to Spinark and Darius who couldn't act against it.

The level of destruction was so great that any small buildings and cars were either vaporized or flung within the dome.

Spinark: 2000 (-350)= 1650 / Nightshade: 1550(+700)= 2250

The energy hemisphere was so large that it could even be seen as a very small purple glint all the way from space. On the ground, Spinark was still standing but had reverted to his base form with Darius looking beaten up as well as he dug himself out of the rubble. His life gauge had fallen to 40%.

Clone Sid was seen sprinting back to Darius. "Hey, what's going on!?"

"That wolf girl... she's way more powerful than I thought." Darius seethed... "But something is off about her, she was very meek, now suddenly she's a machine of destruction. Almost like a switch had been flipped. I won't underestimate her again!" Darius refocused and he made both himself and Spinark transform into their Reversion Forms once again. "As much as I like the thrill of battle. I won't that wolf upstage me!"

Cid punched his fist into his hand and transformed both him and Rubanoid into their Reversion forms.

On the other side, Reiko and Nightshade were panting to themselves while Vesta was still tending to Maia. "Hey..." the Gundalian started. "You've closed the wound as much as you could. Now go and help Reiko over there!"

"But..."

Maia grabbed Vesta's shoulder. "No butts. Get out there and fight, I've got no life gauge, so I'm useless out here."

Vesta stood up and she grabbed Liaru and tossed him, making him stand. He growled as if he was still in his primal state since he was in his base form. "Hey!" she said glaring at the Bakugan. "I know you can hear me in there! Your partner is hurt badly, and she hasn't healed yet! Take her to a safe place where she can get some medical attention! Got it!?" Liaru then bowed his head toward Maia, opened his mouth slightly, and a bit on her outfit to lift her.

"W-what, hey!"

Liaru lightly growled. Maia was surprised to figure out that he was shifting her to try and get her to climb on his face. "O-oh, ok. I get it!" she climbed from his nose to sitting on his head. She gave Vesta a 'Thumbs-up'

"Go!" Vesta said. Liaru sprinted off as fast as he could to get Maia to a safe place.

Not long after, Vesta stood next to Reiko. "You have a plan?" Vesta asked.

"Other than 'rip those monsters to shreds' nope!"

"Hey... we're not out to hurt anyone. We're not like them, remember?"

Reiko sighed. "Let's get one thing straight, I don't share the same 'morals' as the rest of you! If that Fabregan goes for the kill, then I will do the exact same. I don't try to dump bodies, but if it comes down to it, to protect Sakuya, I'll do it! So don't get in my way!"

Vesta glared at her opponents but gave Reiko a side-eye. "No one's dying today if I can help it! And I'm sure the other you wouldn't want you killing either."

The inside of Reiko's head felt like it was pricked with something sharp. "Ow...! Fine, I get it. No killing!"

Spinark: 1200 / Rubanoid: 1100

Nightshade: 1000 / Solaria: 950

Cid had an ability in his gauntlet. "Here goes, ability activate, Red Deeper!" Ruby red hexagons had formed in front of Rubanoid's maw, and in front of Cid as he aimed his hand at the hexagon-shaped glass. They both charged and fired a red and white energy blast through the mirrors and grew stronger and stronger with every mirror the beam passed through, they were aimed at Solaria and Vesta. Decreasing her power by 400, bringing Solaria's power to 550.

"Ability Activate, Flare Strike!" Vesta flew up, twirled, and had a large orb of energy over her head. Solaria was charging an orb of light energy in her hands.

"Now, Solaria!"

"Got it, Mama!"

They both tossed their light orbs at Rubanoid and Cid's attacks. The light orbs collided with Red Deeper and they were stopped in place by the light orbs. Vesta and Solaria were struggling to hold the beams back with their solar orbs.

Rubanoid: 1100(-250)= 850 / Solaria: 550(+250)= 800

Red Deeper was beating out Flare Strike, but as this happened, Reiko sped over to both Cid and Darius. However, Darius stepped in front of Cid and held his gauntlet forward. "Ability Activate, Aquos Squall!"

Spinark roared and clouds came back in before a heavy rainstorm was summoned. His power was increased by 500, putting him up to 1700.

"Two can play that game! Ability Activate, Punishing Flames!" Both Nightshade and Sakuya were surrounded by crimson fire.

Spinark: 1700 / Rubanoid: 850

Nightshade: 1000(+200)= 1200 / Solaria: 800

Reiko and Nightshade sped forward, heading to Spinark. Despite the heavy rain, the flames on Reiko and Nightshade never went out. Darius prepared his Trident, spinning it in his hand.

"Shadow Shift!" Reiko became transparent and sunk into the ground, becoming a shadow that moved fast along the ground. Nightshade dove into the shadows as well, disappearing as well.

Spinark: 1700 / Nightshade: 1200(+400 +200)= 1800

Reiko's shadow melded with Darius' and emerged behind him, and tried to slash at him with her claws, but Darius immediately blocked with his Trident. After the block, Darius noticed that Spinark wasn't attacked, but saw a shadow heading Cid and Rubanoid's way.

"Hey, Cid watch out!"

"Huh?" Nightshade shot out from the shadows, and he attacked both Rubanoid and Cid, breaking their Red Deeper beams.

This allowed Solaria's Flare Strike attack to damage the pair of them. After the attack, Spinark shot right over to Nightshade and bit down on him. Nightshade threw his arms up to block, but this still caused pain as the razor-sharp teeth bit down into his skin.

"Reiko! You and Nightshade get out of there!" Vesta exclaimed as she activated a card. "Stardust Fury!"

Solaria raised her hands and stardust and sparkles had been slowly falling over Darius, Reiko, Spinark, and Nightshade.

Reiko nodded and both she and Nightshade dove back into their shadows and sped back to their side of the battlefield. The stardust then shone brighter. "BOOM!" Solaria exclaimed as they all ignited and exploded, kicking up dust all over their side of the field as well as dropping Spinark's power by 600, putting him down to 1100Gs.

"Primeval Roa!" as the dust cleared, Spinark's power was shimmering a glossy blue, while a dark blue aura surrounded him. As this happened, he appeared to be restoring his power level.

Spinark: 1700(+200)= 1900 / Rubanoid: 850

Nightshade: 1800 / Solaria: 800

"Spinark, let's wrap this up! Double Ability Activate, Dark Water plus Fusion Ability Exceed Flow!"

Spinark's accents were glowing a bright blue and he looked to have summoned a much bigger wave of water that completely dwarfed Reiko, Vesta, and their Bakugan.

Spinark: 1900(+400)x2 (+200)= 2900 / Rubanoid: 850

Nightshade: 1800(-400x2)= 1000 / Solaria: 800(-400x2)= 0

As the wave was about to surge on top of them. Vesta flew up high and Solaria followed her. "Solaria, attribute change!" Both Solaria and Vesta had changed to their Succubus Darkus forms and Vesta held a card in front of her as the wave was coming down. "Ability Activate, Black Hole Devastation!" Both she and Solaria combined their strength to make a tremendous black hole that appeared to be suctioning the water that was generated by Spinark. As the water was being sucked up, Solaria was surrounded by a blue glow.

Darius' pupils shrunk. "No way..."

Spinark: 2900(-400x2)= 2100 / Rubanoid: 850

Nightshade: 1000(+400x2)= 1800 / Solaria: 0(+400x2)= 800

The Dark water was successfully absorbed into the black hole with some of the water coming down as rain. However, Solaria wasn't done, and Darius had an idea of what was coming. Cid, Rubanoid get behind me and Spinark!"

Solaria's black hole expanded, and it shot a powerful jet of dark water right at Spinark and Darius. The jet of water had hit Spinark and was holding the water back and Darius had spun his trident and impaled it into the water attack, the dark water splashed outward and fell as rain along with the rainstorm.

Darius was shocked to see Reiko and Nightshade, at his sides trying to pincer attack him. "Reversion Ability Activate, Crystal Jail!"

Nightshade, Reiko, Solaria, and Vesta, were being restrained by ruby crystal shards that were growing from their feet upwards as well as encasing their hands and parts of their faces. The entire field was becoming covered in a ruby dome.

"Oh, you..." Reiko said as she slowed.

"And that was just the beginning! Reversion Ability Activate, Scarlet Flood!" He was covered in white-red electricity, and it looked as if the dome was providing him with more energy as red sparks were being directed into his body. "And down you go!" Rubanoid was overloaded with bright red energy and discharged in an omnidirectional blast that was spreading through the radius of the Crystal Dome.

Spinark: 2100 / Rubanoid: 850(+500)= 1350

Nightshade: 1800(-500)= 1300 / Solaria: 800(-500)= 300

The explosive blast had covered both Vesta and Reiko, leaving them weakened, particularly Vesta as she was on her knees, taking deep breaths. Even Solaria had stopped floating as she stood on her feet as the ruby crystal was covering parts of her body.

Reiko was struggling to break out of the crystal herself and she got another headache. "Damnit, Sakuya! I'm in a bind, can this wait!?"

Vesta pulled out a card with her left arm that wasn't frozen in crystal. "I hope this works... Reversion Ability, Blue Moon!" she held her card in the air. After the card shone, the ruby jail was cracking before it shattered into crystal dust. The rainstorm that Spinark summoned ended and replaced with a clear sky with a blue moon above, shining its healing light down on Vesta's side.

As the moon shone down, the Crystal shards chipped off everyone, Reiko smirked afterward. "Heh, thanks, Vesta."

Spinark: 2100 / Rubanoid: 1350

Nightshade: 1300(+450)= 1750 / Solaria: 300(+450)= 750

"C'mer Fabregan! Reversion Ability Activate, Field Blackout!" the whole field was becoming covered in a black mist that cloaked both Nightshade and Solaria.

Darius tried to use an ability to counter but it refused to activate. "Sorry to ruin your party, but Field Blackout covers the whole field and only allows the use of Darkus Abilities." She turned to the recovering Vesta. "And you know what that means, don't you?" She smirked while Nightshade's power increased by 300, putting him at 2050Gs

"Heh, heh." Vesta chuckled. "Then I won't waste time! Double Ability Activate, Dark Matter Strike, plus Relentless Magic. Solaria evilly giggled as she had a large orb of dark purple energy while a magenta magic circle formed behind her. The orb continued to grow larger, and she physically split it off into many orbs that were floating across the battlefield.

Solaria then flung her arms throwing the dark orbs and they were directed at Rubanoid

Rubanoid: 1350(-400)= 950 / Solaria: 750(+400)= 1050

As the orbs were getting closer to Rubanoid, Cid put a card into his gauntlet. "Ability Activate, Red Deeper!" Rubanoid, but as he equipped his ability, it refused to activate. The Dark Matter strike had rapidly crashed into Rubanoid. Vesta held up a Fusion Reversion Ability.

"Time for the final act, Solaria! Fusion Reversion Ability – Fairy Succubus!" There were tiny pink fairy-like butterflies that surrounded Vesta and Solaria. The Latter sped over to Cid while shrinking in size. She bared her purple glowing succubus claws as she was racking Rubanoid while moving at blinding speeds.

"Rubanoid!" Cid exclaimed as he eyed Vesta who extended her hand and was holding a scythe.

She sped over to him as she shrunk in size, she relentlessly sliced through Cid over and over while the purple fairy butterflies following her cut through Cid as well.

Solaria was still cutting through Rubanoid and she flew far above him and the fairy butterflies followed her up into the sky where the moon sat high in the sky. She and her following companions were charging purple energy beams. They all fired cutting blasts of energy that were zipping down toward Rubanoid. The beams had shot right through Rubanoid's chest.

Rubanoid: 950(-600)= 350 / Solaria: 1050(+600)= 1650

As this happened, Clone Cid fell to his knees as he felt the beams that went through Rubanoid. Vesta stood in front of him scythe in hand. Rubanoid roared and he shrunk to his ball form in defeat, he sped over to Vesta's hand.

At the same time, Darius was attacking Reiko with his Trident, she was keeping him back with her claws, while her head was pounding. "Sakuya! I told you to let me handle this!" she exclaimed. "Reversion Ability - Nightmare Daze!" She was covered in a purple aura; she turned invisible and so did Nightshade.

Darius had a card in his gauntlet. "Hide all you want! It won't help you! Reversion Ability Activate, Leviathan!" Spinark roared and was absorbing all the moisture in the air, making the air dry and crusty. The absorbed water turned into a blue water helix with a dragon head. The Field Blackout Reversion Ability was nullified as it was also absorbed into the helix.

Spinark: 2100

Nightshade: 1000 / Solaria: 950

Vesta and Solaria immediately felt weak, and both had fallen to their knees. "Mama... Solaria feels weak. Soon after Vesta couldn't hang onto her concentration and both she and Solaria reverted to their regular forms.

Reiko appeared beside her with Nightshade also reappearing. "It doesn't matter, there is only one of them- AH!" she held her head again. "Ok that's enough!" she closed her eyes and focused to return to the mindscape that both she and Sakuya shared.

Once she returned, she eyed Sakuya gazing directly at her. "What the hell!? You're breaking my concentration!"

"Why doesn't Nightshade like me?"

"W-what...? That's what this is about?"

"You managed to achieve a Reversion Form with him on the first try. He clearly likes you more."

Reiko shook her head. "Nightshade reacts to battle... because I battle with him most of the time, he sees me more of a worthy candidate to share his power with."

"B-but I don't want you to fight my battles for me forever..."

"I told you... battling is-"

"It's not just about battling! Whenever I feel uncomfortable, I always have the instinct to just run here and let you deal with it. I don't want to do that anymore! I don't want to be protected all the time!"

Reiko blinked to herself. "Give me a moment." Reiko looked to have disappeared for a moment before she instantly returned, but she didn't come back alone. Sakuya faced Nightshade staring down at her in his regular form.

"N-Nightshade!?" she yelped while sweating.

"Yep, you wanna convince someone, convince him?"

The nerves within Sakuya shot up, but she slowly walked up to him. "Please give me a chance. I want to fight on my own for once, b-but I'll need your help... t-the same help you gave to Reiko."

Nightshade looked to have closed his and there was light surrounding Sakuya. She took the same Reversion appearance as Reiko, except that Reiko's maroon accents were replaced with indigo color. "T-thank you for giving me a chance."

"Don't lose!" the response froze Sakuya as the wolf Bakugan was looking down at her expectantly.

"D-did you just-"

"Time to go!" Reiko said as she grabbed Sakuya by the wrist, and they immediately felt weightless as the ground was leaving them. Reiko winked at her and she tossed Sakuya right at Nightshade, surprising her.

Sakuya was standing where Reiko was, and she saw Darius charging right at her. "AHH!" On instinct, she stretched out her hand and her claws mangled with Darius' trident. He was surrounded by a Water Helix that threw Sakuya back.

The wolf heads that were on her body were growling individually. "Ok, here goes nothing. Reversion Ability Activate, Fear Pack!" She and Nightshade got on all fours, and they were cloaked by a purple mist, and before it cleared Sakuya was sprinting on all fours right at Darius.

Spinark: 2100(-450)= 1650 / Nightshade: 1000(+450)= 1450

Spinark easily batted away a charging Nightshade but wasn't aware of another one soon after biting on his tail, making him screech.

He wildly swung his trident tail sending that Nightshade flying back.

"I'll shred you if you come close! Reversion Ability Activate, Spinal Fury!" Their fins and diverged spines were cloaked in blue energy, and they were rolling toward the mist. All the while the shadow Nightshades and Sakuyas were being shredded. As Aquos buzzsaws shot through the mist, both Sakuya and Nightshade had evaded the attack, but they lost 900Gs in the process, putting Nightshade down to 550.

"Nightshade, throw me up!" The wolf grunted and he tossed Sakuya into the sky where all her wolf heads were glowing brightly with purple energy in their maws. "Reversion Ability, Extriflare!" her entire body was encased in white energy. The wolf heads opened their maws and a purple energy sphere exploded outward from her, engulfing Darius and Spinark on the ground as they were completely engulfed.

Spinark: 1650(-350)= 1300 / Nightshade: 550(+700)= 1250

Sakuya slowly fell back to her feet, but she heard chuckling coming from where Darius was standing which was engulfed in black smoke. "Well done... but you almost had me... well even if you did, I'd still would have survived. This battle was fun, but I have a job to do, and you are simply in the way. Nothing personal. Fusion Reversion Ability Activate – Gaia Vortex!" Spinark's maw was shining blue and so did the ends of Darius' trident.

Vesta was slowly recovering to her feet while Maia limped to her side while holding her left side which was still healing. They saw a mass of blue energy generating around both Spinark and Darius. "Oh crap... is this it?" Maia exclaimed.

"The Hell are you doing here!?"

"Moral support?"

Vesta held up a card. "Stay back, I'm not responsible if you get hurt again... Solaria... I need you to do me a favor."

"Of course!"

When Darius and Spinark's energy was fully charged. They both discharged a tremendous, pressurized vortex that combined and was picking up debris as it dragged on the ground. This debris would act as shrapnel for the unfortunate target, it diverged into smaller vortexes that converged to the front and were raging to Sakuya and Nightshade.

Spinark: 1300(+700)= 2000

Nightshade: 1250(-700)= 550 / Solaria: 950(-700)= 250

"HAAAAAAH!" Solaria who was in her Haos Reversion form, stood in front of the Darkus pair.

"W-what are you doing!?" Sakuya asked.

"Lunar Barrier!"

A yellow, hexagonal, hemisphere barrier had formed over all three of them as Solaria was holding back the rushing water as her barrier was already cracking.

"S-Solaria...?" She saw Vesta behind her, and the human added her power to the barrier, trying to keep it back as much as possible. "Vesta... but if you both..."

"J-Just take our power and finish this guy!" Vesta had grabbed Sakuya's hand and the Alursian could feel only a little bit of fresh energy flowing into her.

Spinark: 2000

Nightshade: 550(+600)= 1150 / Solaria: 250

As soon as they transferred the power they gained from erecting their barrier, both had powered down to their base forms, leaving only Solaria to take hold of the barrier.

Sakuya wanted to help, but both Liaru and Maia had speared into the pair. "Sorry 'bout this!" they were shot across the field and out of the barrier. And the cracks spread wider as small jets of water rushed in.

"Mama... we won't be separated forever... right?"

Vesta winked at her partner. "Never... and that's a promise!" after another crack. The Barrier shattered leaving Solaria to take the full brunt of the attack, Sakuya and Maia could only watch as both Vesta and Solaria were swept up.

Once the water cleared, Solaria was soon protecting Vesta and she was slowly turning to her ball form. Vesta was tiredly lying on her back and looked at Solaria's ball form floating in the air before she slowly moved over to Darius' hand. She tried to get back up, but she was too fatigued that she simply passed out and fell onto her back.

Sakuya took a step forward. "She sacrificed herself just for me..."

"Well... what are you going to do about it?" Reiko asked.

Needing no prompt, Sakuya sprinted forward at both Darius and Spinark. "Reversion Ability - Whiteout Assault!" all the wolf heads shone bright white, and they let out a tremendous flash of energy, that was bright enough to blind Darius who covered his eyes.

Spinark: 2000 / Nightshade: 1150(+800)= 1950

Sakuya threw a downward kick onto Spinark who staggered slightly. Darius, who was still recovering from the glare was suddenly swiped away by Nightshade, sending him flying across the field allowing both him and his partner to focus on Spinark.

Spinark hissed as the accents in his body were shining brightly and there was a distorted ripple that expanded like a shockwave. These waves were re-directing the glare back at Nightshade and Sakuya.

"He used a Reversion Ability by himself!?" Sakuya exclaimed

Spinark: 2000(+800)= 2800 / Nightshade: 1950

Sakuya closed her eyes and she leaped up into the sky. "Reversion Ability, Soul Trap!" There were magical, black paper talismans that were hovering around Sakuya in a circle and she tossed them to form a sort of circle around Spinark, and she tossed one final talisman to attach to his head and as soon as this landed, his entire body froze. Spinark saw his power level fall by 700 thanks to that attack, leaving him at 2100.

Sakuya landed on her feet next to Nightshade. "Reiko... are you there. I have a plan..."

Darius suddenly appeared behind her, she quickly sensed him and avoided being slashed by his trident. After she backed away, she got a response from Reiko.

"Just say 'when'!"

"Purity Fire!" Sakuya exclaimed as both she and Nightshade were surrounded by white flames.
"The next ability will be doubled!" Darius then elbowed Sakuya and there was Darkus energy that was leaving her as she lost focus. "K-keep it together!" she exclaimed to herself she decided to bite down Darius' right hand, breaking the skin, drawing blood and she immediately recoiled after tasting his blood. "EW!"

Spinark: 2800 / Nightshade: 1950(+400)= 2300

This was enough to make Darius recoil, allowing Sakuya to strike. "WHEN!" When Reiko appeared, her eyes turned orange and her purple accents became maroon. "Oh, you took it literally... Ah, to hell with it goes!" because the talisman kept Spinark in place, she only had one target. SOUL DEVOUR!"

All the wolf heads opened and all the blue Aquos energy was absorbed into Reiko and all the color was drained from Darius' body. Because his energy had left, his trident felt too heavy, and he dropped his weapon. Reiko absorbed all the energy and there was purple and blue energy surrounding her.

Spinark: 2800(-800)*2= 1200 / Nightshade: 2300(+400)*2= 3100

Reiko tightened her muscles. "You're so done! AWOOOOOO!" she howled, and her entire body shot out a blue and purple blast of energy and it engulfed that lifted Darius off his feet. The blast pushed Darius right into Spinark and as soon as they both collided, they were engulfed in a tremendous blast of energy that created a white, blue, and purple hemisphere that let out a huge shockwave that managed to flatten some of the buildings that were in the short radius.

Sakuya was out of her Reversion Form and stood among the ruined city blocks. She heard Reiko whistle in her mind. "Maybe we over-did it there."

"Yes definitely..." Sakuya agreed. She eyed her hand and saw that the closed ball form of Spinark was on her palm. Her eyes turned white before sweating rapidly. "W-we definitely over-did it!" There was debris moving behind her and she saw that Maia was digging out of the debris while holding Vesta.

"Damn, were you trying to kill us back there?"

"S-sorry..."

Maia chuckled. "No, ya did good! I wish I was as strong as that! Ow... I hope that wound doesn't open up." They all saw Sakuya moving over to Darius who was struggling to move. There was a large piece of rubble over his leg, she moved the large rubble off of his leg.

"No! Why are you helping him!?"

"It's the right thing to do!"

After she moved it, she extended her hand to help him up. "Um... I'm confused..." she urged him further as she pushed her hand closer. He decided to accept it and he was pulled to his feet. He dusted himself off. "Yukiko is not going to be like this..." he started to look around. "By the way, you haven't seen my Spinark have you?" She opened his palm and showed his closed ball form. "Oh... ohhhh shi- wait you're still too young for swears, right? Um... if you could do me a solid and maybe give him back?" She closed her palm and moved her hand away.

"S-Solaria first..."

"Solar- ohhhhhh~." he dug into his pockets and held out Solaria's closed ball form. "So, a trade?"

Sakuya placed Spinark in Darius' hand and the Fabregan did the same by putting Solaria in her hand. She then saw Rubanoid's closed ball form, sitting in the rubble and Cid was missing. "What happened to him?"

Darius cringed. "Well since they are experimental clones, they were unstable. When they lose a battle, especially after they use Reversion, they could just disappear. Kind of a shame since the real Cid is well dead."

"U-um..." Sakuya muttered with white eyes.

Darius looked behind her to see Maia carrying Vesta over to them. "You guys must be her friends?"

"Um... allies? Definitely. Friends? eh maybe. But you don't seem like the other Fabregans that seem dead set on being a sore loser."

"I see the value of those that are strong. I agree with Yukiko about the Earth... but history is decided by the strongest, so do what you want. I ain't going to fight you anymore." They heard thunder coming from the stadium. "Looks like Daro is still going at it, wanna watch?" Maia and Sakuya blinked.

"You're way too laid back about this. Aren't we enemies?" Maia noted.

"Well, I think my leg is busted, so I ain't in no shape to fight." he looked down at Sakuya's hand.

"Y-Yukiko's invasion isn't right to the innocents of Earth... You don't have to help us, but I ask that you don't get in our way... please?" the wolf girl politely asked.

"Perhaps a hostile take-over is a little too far." he, shook her hand. "But since you said 'please'. I'll help when I can." Maia rushed over and took his gauntlet.

"Hey... can't take any risks." Darius shrugged his shoulders.

"That's fair. So shall we?" he started limping toward the stadium.

Sakuya eyed Maia. "We'll trust him... for now... if he turns on us, sic Reiko on him." Sakuya nervously nodded and she heard Reiko seconding Maia's plan. They followed Darius as they saw the battle raging between Cera, Spectra, and Daro.

Maxus Cybertross: 2250

Lunaris: 1350 / Infinity Helios: 1200

Back at the Stadium, both Lunaris and Helios were flying in the air, avoiding the mini-gun fire from Maxus Cybertross. "Stop running you cowards, is your pathetic Reversion that weak!?"

"I'll get his attention!" Cera said. "Then you got for the first hit!" They both split off and Lunaris instantly changed to her Haos form and held an arrow in front of her. "Sunstrike Arrow!" Lunaris pulled on her bow, and it flew right down at Cybertross.

As the arrow closed in on Cybertross, Daro didn't try to counter it, as he knew the body would take it.

Maxus Cybertross: 2250(-400)= 1850 / Lunaris: 1350(+400)= 1750

*BANG*

The arrow itself exploded in front of Maxus Cybertross, causing a huge explosion of light that blinded him. And this gave Spectra his opportunity. "Mauser Impact!" Helios growled as his stomach armor opened, he was charging a magenta beam that discharged and covered Cybertross completely. This dropped Cybertross' power by 600 which put it down to 1250.

When the magenta energy faded, there were bright purple electric bolts surrounding Maxus Cybertross and he was standing tall.

"Is that the best you can do!?" Daro mocked as he dragged a card onto his console. "Double Ability Activate, Dark Expungement! Plus Burning Dart!" Cybertross was aiming right at Cera, his maw charged and fired a huge blast of dark energy at Cera. Soon after, the shoulder cannons from the Pyrus Pyrder that was attached to the back fired two red beams that went with the dark beam.

Cera, still in her Darkus form, flew to avoid it, but the beams looked to follow her. "CRAP!"

Maxus Cybertross: 1250(+500 +600)= 2350

Lunaris: 1750 / Infinity Helios: 1200

After Cera saw that the beams were following her, she made her bow appear and flew high into the sky and she turned and eyed the attack. "Reversion Ability Activate, Moon Sniper!" Bright purple crescent moons appeared in her eyes. She pulled back on her bowstring, making magic circles in front of the bow. As she was aiming, she saw the attack was coming closer, she made sure that Cybertross was in view. The magic circles shone yellow for a second, and she released the bowstring and the neon arrow shot forward with a loud bang.

The arrow dove through the sky and literally cut through the attack. "WHAT!?" Daro exclaimed.

Maxus Cybertross: 2350(-650)= 1750 / Lunaris: 1750(+600)= 2350

Daro then moved a card onto his console. "Foxtrot! Ability Activate, Spirit Protection." A bright yellow hemisphere covered his whole body. The ability had transferred 300Gs, between them.

Maxus Cybertross: 1750(+300)= 2050 / Lunaris: 2350(-300)= 2050

The arrow crashed right into the barrier, immediately shattering it, but left Maxus Cybertross completely un-damaged. Daro growled but the proximity alarms went off, he saw Spectra flying not far from him.

"Let's see you try to keep an eye on four opponents! Consecutive Ability, Deep Fire – Block A!" he held the card and it shone. The rocket pack on Helios' back had shone and it fired indigo energy missiles that were firing right at Cybertross. "Plus Reversion Ability, Boltflare Breaker!" as the indigo missiles fell, Spectra himself had orange-red fiery orbs with dark purple electric bolts surrounding them while they orbited his body. He pointed down at Cybertross and the attack turned to purple-black thunder with black and red-orange flames surrounding the electric bolts.

Maxus Cybertross: 2050(-500 -450)= 1100 / Infinity Helios: 1200(+500 +450)= 2150

Daro had pressed a Subterra button on one of the consoles that sat on his left side of the cockpit and from the outside, the whole of Cybertross' body (including his Maxus parts) had shifted to a Subterra theme of orange and brown. "Ok try and break through our Subterra Defense Mode! His power was raised by 250Gs and immediately, all the power he lost was halved and he had an additional 250Gs added to his power level.

Maxus Cybertross: 1100(+250 +200 +250)= 1800 / Infinity Helios: 2150

"I'm not done yet, plus Guard Drive!" A bright orange sheen covered Cybertross as Boltflare Breaker contacted him but didn't even leave a minor scratch. Guard drive added a further 350Gs to Cybertross. Putting him at 2150Gs. "How do you like that? Even with the Maxus system activated, Cybertross can still use his old abilities! Face it, you can never bring down my Ultimate Bakugan!"

"Tch!" Cera then had another card in between her fingers. "Stupid machine! Fusion Ability Activate, Midnight Paralysis!"

Lunaris flew behind Cybertross and back on her bow. A red plasma arrow appeared and when she released the bowstring, the arrow flew down when it hit the back of Cybertross, there was a red sheen that surrounded his body and there was a clock made of purple light that was ticking to midnight hovering over the Bakugan

Maxus Cybertross: 2150(-350/2)= 2000

Lunaris: 2050(+350)= 2400 / Infinity Helios: 2150

"When the clock hits midnight, he can't activate any of his abilities!" Spectra nodded in understanding, and he glanced back at Helios.

"Then let us proceed, Helios. Double Ability Activate!"

"Ragnarok Buster!" Helios exclaimed as his stomach armor opened and was charged, making Cybertross turn towards the dragon-like Bakugan.

Another proximity beep had shown that Spectra flew to Cybertross' left side.

"Plus, Reversion Ability – Viper Quasar!" Spectra had an orb of black and orange fire in between his hands and as it was charging, Daro turned Cybertross to try and swat him, but it missed and Spectra continued charging it. Daro though made sure to keep one eye on Helios and had an ability prepared to use when they would both inevitably unleash their attacks.

Spectra on the other hand was making sure to keep one eye on the clock that was ticking above Cybertross. "Helios, fire!"

"RAAAAH!" Helios unleashed his purple blast downward toward Cybertross. Immediately transferring 500Gs between them.

Maxus Cybertross: 2000(-500/2)= 1750

Lunaris: 2400 / Infinity Helios: 2150(+500)= 2650

The beam engulfed Cybertross and the energy produced was so great that it scorched the stadium ground that Cybertross stood on. Daro meanwhile was preparing a card to counter. "Oh you, infidels have no idea what you have-"

*GONG*

The clock above Cybertross' head had hit midnight, making a loud gong reminiscent of a grandfather clock. As soon as this happened, the interior lighting of Cybertross' cockpit shut down and the interior quickly switched to red emergency lighting. "WHAT NOW!?"

"HAAAAAA!" Spectra was right in front of Cybertross and shot the flames that completely engulfed Cybertross, making alarms go off inside the cockpit from the intense heat. Spectra felt both his and Helios' power increasing by 750Gs, putting him at 3400Gs

"Dammit! Cybertross might still be able to take attacks for now, but these swine are relentless!" he tried to program an emergency restart but it seemed his controls and monitors were not responding and he could only growl in frustration as he heard what sounded like Lunaris giggling within his cockpit and flashes of a clock would glitch on and off his screen as he tried going through the restart process.

"Damn thing is still standing!" Cera said. "At least we still have time to rip that machine to shreds. He'll be able to fight again once the clock strikes midnight again!"

"Then we keep going!" Lunaris replied still in her Haos form. "Flurry Dance!" her wings shook off their scales and they surround themselves around Lunaris' arms. She flew down to attack Cybertross and was clawing the still automaton, throwing Daro around inside the cockpit. Her power shot up by 700Gs, putting her at 3100Gs

Daro even tried to get the Maxus parts to respond but they weren't. "Fine Desperate times..." as Lunaris continued to slash the exterior of Cybertoss, the large beast was still immobile. He decided to press a large red button above his head, and once he did that. Cybertross had fully shut down, power to his Star Core was cut and immediately everything went dark. Soon he held another button too as he was prepared to press the restart button. He pressed the button and some lights were booting up and the Star Core whirred to life.

As the systems were powering up again, the cameras booted up again, and they saw Lunaris rapidly attacking. As soon as the systems were fully reset, his power sat at his base level of 2250. 'All systems functioning.'

"Lovely. He pulled two abilities onto the console. I'm back online, Double Ability Activate Hydro Sweep plus Drill Cutter!" As Cybertross was back online, he stepped back from Lunaris and stomped hard on the ground with his left leg. The Aquos Terastion had made a tremendous wave of water surge from thin air and it towered over Lunaris.

But before she could do anything, a drill was seen shooting through the water and it looked to have drilled right through Lunaris, forcing her back into her Darkus form. Cera felt that pain and watched as Lunaris was swept away by the water.

"Lunaris!" she clutched her stomach in pain as it surged again.

Maxus Cybertross: 2250(+300)= 2550

Lunaris: 3100(-600)= 2500 / Infinity Helios: 3400

Daro was quick to find Spectra and Helios on another monitor. "And now to deal with you! Ability Activate Anti-Gravity!" the wings of Ventus Pterodactylizer released a burst of air and they had green boosters that allowed it to hover off the ground along with assistance from Cybertross' regular boosters. This added 400Gs to his power level, putting him at 2950 as he shot up to where Spectra and Helios were floating.

"Hmph, give him your best shot Helios! Ability Activate, Bolting Breaker!" Helios' tail flared up with electrical energy and he flung it down at the charging Cybertross. It then split into smaller electrified orbs, and as they hit, it didn't seem to faze Cybertross at all.

Maxus Cybertross: 2950(-200)= 2750 / Infinity Helios: 3400(+200)= 3600

"Oh, crap!"

"I GOT YOU!" Daro exclaimed as Cybetross head-butted Helios, sending him falling." The right arm was aiming at Spectra. "Now GATTLING SPREAD!" on instinct Spectra crossed his arms as a rotary minigun was seen forming on Cybertross' right hand and he was bombarded with high-Calibur Darkus energy rounds that sent him crashing down into the ground and onto the stadium floor. This increased Cybertross' power by 600, putting him at 3350.

He saw Helios flying back at him. "Back for more huh, Ability Activate, Spinning Sunder!" Cybertross boosted right at Helios with his large wings and he grabbed him in a bearhug. Cybertross flipped upside-down and shot down toward the ground using his boosters to speed his descent.

Spectra saw what was happening after recovering from his wounds. "Helios!" he screamed as they both crashed into the ground hard.

Maxus Cybertross: 2750

Lunaris: 2500 / Infinity Helios: 3350(-800)= 2550

A tremendous black dust cloud was seen, and Helios was thrown back and rolled before readjusting himself to his feet. "Ugh... still standing?" His proximity alarm went off and he saw that it was Cera. "Ugh, you damn moth!"

"Ability Activate, Fairy Scales!" scales and sparkles leak off Cera's wings and she combined all of them into an orb that was tossed right at Cybertross. Dropping his power by 700Gs. Bringing him to 2050.

"I've had enough... Ability Activate, Haos Sabotage Mode!" his entire body shone yellow for a second before he had glowing yellow circuit lines on his body. Increasing his power to 2150. The orb was speeding towards him, and he turned and fired his minigun at the orb and it managed to shrink the orb, but it still hit, only slightly making him slide back. "You infestations will be put down by my hand! Double Ability Activate, Dispel Mandatum plus Reversion Ultra Nullium!" a turret appeared on his back and it fired an orb of light that lit up the entire stadium area in a draining yellow light. 300Gs were sapped from both Lunaris and Helios.

Maxus Cybertross: 2050

Lunaris: 2500(-300)= 2200 / Infinity Helios: 2550(-300)= 2250

Once the light covered them, Cybertross let out a tremendous roar. Soon after, Helios, Spectra, Cera, and Lunaris immediately reverted to their base forms. This was bad for Cera as she found herself falling as her wings disappeared.

"AHHHH!"

"NO!" Spectra leaped and managed to catch her in time, using his own body to cushion her fall.

"W-what happened?" Cera asked, perplexed.

Daro aimed the Darkus Coblight minigun arm at the pair. "Reversion Ultra Nullum is an upgraded version of Reversion Nullum, not only does it prevent the use of Reversion Abilities under the light. But it also cuts the Reversion link, dispelling your troublesome Reversion Forms!" The rotary minigun was spinning as he prepared to fire at them. "Any last words, parasites?"

"JUST THIS!" they all heard as Nightshade appeared in front of the miniguns and Reiko was on top of him. "TERRIFYING GLARE!"

Nightshade stomped on the ground, and huge purple chains tired up Cybertross, preventing him from moving, and the chains crucially aimed the minigun at the ground. Cybertross' power fell by 500Gs

Maxus Cybertross: 2050 (-500)= 1550

Lunaris: 2200 / Infinity Helios: 2250 / Nightshade: 800

"S-Sakuya?" Cera gasped.

"You're half right..." Reiko said with a wink. "But it's not just us! Bakugan Brawl!" she tossed a Bakugan that opened right above Cybertross. Daro gasped when he saw a blue dinosaur falling toward him.

"NO! IT CAN'T BE!" Daro exclaimed.

Reiko immediately gave control back to Sakuya and she held up a Fabregan Styled Ability Card. "Ability Card Activate, Primeval Roa!" the spinosaurus had butted his head against the back of Cybertross and bounced back off to land beside Nightshade. His body shone with a glossy blue shimmer as a dark blue aura radiated.

After this happened, the bright orb floating over the stadium faded away.

Maxus Cybertross: 1550

Lunaris: 2200 / Infinity Helios: 2250 / Nightshade: 800 / Spinark: 1000

"You savage!" Daro exclaimed as he punched the console. "You took Spinark, which means you killed that fool!"

"Hehe, you couldn't be more wrong!" Daro gasped when he heard Darius' voice on his coms link. "Wolf girl down there beat me fair and square... and she took Spinark, so nothing wrong with letting her borrow him for a bit." he chuckled.

"You betraying little-" he immediately cut off the coms link.

Down on the ground, Sakuya helped Cera to her feet. "Thanks... I'm fine... and what about you Spectra?" she saw Spectra immediately transform back into his Reversion Form. "I'll be better once we send Daro and his abomination to the scrap heap."

"I-I'll assist when I can... Nightshade and Spinark are still barely recovering from the last battle they had." Sakuya said.

Cera smirked as she transformed back into her Ascended Reversion form. "Then let's take him apart, piece by piece. Let's rid him of those Maxus parts!"

"Pyrus weapons Mode!" Daro angrily exclaimed and slid two cards onto his console. "Double Ability Activate, Sentry Regeneration Plus Maximum Fire!" suddenly there was a red aura surrounding Cybertross and futuristic miniguns were floating above Cybertross that were targeting both Cera and Lunaris.

Maxus Cybertross: 1550 (+700)= 2250

Lunaris: 2200(-700 -1000)= 500 / Infinity Helios: 2250 / Nightshade: 800 / Spinark: 1000

All the weapons on Cybertross were charging with bright red energy. "YOUR BAKUGAN IS MINE!" Cybertross fired large, red beams that were following after both Cera and Lunaris as they flew high in the skies to avoid them.

"Cera! It's time!" Lunaris exclaimed.

"I was hoping you'd say that! Ability Activate, Peering Hypnosis!" Cera and Lunaris' wings had turned dark purple and eyes grew on them. Once the eyes on them fully opened, red shockwaves spread from them, spreading to the chasing red beams, and as soon as the shockwaves hit, the beams acted like they hit a forcefield as they exploded.

"NO!" Daro exclaimed as he saw Cera flying down toward him, and she immediately transformed into her Haos form.

Maxus Cybertross: 2250 / Lunaris: 500(+1000)= 1500

"Reversion Ability Activate! Titania Pixia!" Cera had bright yellow energy butterflies surrounding her and she flashed out of everyone's sight, but what really happened was that she shrunk down to the size of a butterfly herself and she was so small that Daro's sensors couldn't pick her up. But he could see that Cybertross was suffering micro-fractures all over his body because Cera was slashing his body all over while moving near to the speed of sound, cutting him all over his body that scratches could be seen all over Cybertross and the Maxus parts.

Maxus Cybertross: 2250 / Lunaris: 1500(+900)= 2400

Spectra smirked to himself. "Heh, she's trying to take him down all by herself," he noted.

Daro slid a card onto his console. "You little- Ability Activate, Aquos Squall!" The left Aquos leg stepped hard onto the ground, sending pillars of water to Cera but because she was so small, Cybertross had trouble targeting her.

"That's the first one!" her power level fell by 700, which put her down to 1700, but she didn't care as her plan wasn't complete yet. She managed to fly into one of the open holes of Aquos Terastion, as she and her butterflies flew through the electronics of the Maxus Bakugan, she came across the power source of the Bakugan, a white energy core that was keeping it powered. She summoned her bow and pulled on her bowstring. Summoning a bright yellow arrow that was shining at the tip. The moment she let go, her butterflies shot forward, sharpening themselves as they all went for the core.

Inside the cockpit, Daro heard an explosion and saw it was coming from the right leg of Terrasion. 'Warning, Aquos Terrastion core integrity at 0%!' rather than being sent back to its ball form. The leg exploded, blowing the mechanical Maxus Bakugan to bits, this threw off Cybertross as it fell to one knee to balance properly.

Maxus Cybertross: 2250(-200)= 2050

Spectra snapped his finger. "So that's her plan!" he eyed Sakuya. "Throw the most powerful ability you can at any of the Maxus parts. Once we destroy those, we'll be one step closer to winning."

Sakuya nodded as she held two cards. "Double Ability Activate!" Nightshade had shifted behind Cybertross. Extriflare-!" Right as Nightshade was glowing white, he leaped onto the wings that formed Pterodactylizer, prepping to use his Reversion Ability.

"HEY, GET OFF!" there was another bang as the cockpit moved. He saw that Spinark was biting down the arm that had Darkus Coblight!"

"Plus Dark Water!" A surge of dark water had shot through Cybertross, pushing him back as Spinark was pulling on the arm.

Maxus Cybertross: 2050 (-350 -400)= 1300

Nightshade: 800(+700)= 1500 / Spinark: 1000 (+400)= 1400

As Nightshade held onto the back of Cybertross, he let out an exploding wave of purple energy that pushed Cybertross forward, the force of the explosion was enough to completely blow Pterodactylizer to scrap metal. Right as this happened, Spinark had ripped Coblight right from Cybertross' right arm and he bit down on the trap, immediately chomping it in half.

Maxus Cybertross: 1300(-200 -200)= 900

"Three down, three to go!" Spectra exclaimed, both he and Helios had flown behind Cybertross.

In a panic, Daro used one of the abilities he had left. "STOP IT! Spirit Protection!" Haos Foxtrot had created a bright yellow sheen that covered Cybertross, increasing his power by 500Gs, putting him at 1400. He was rapidly pressing buttons in the console. "Cybertross, release the limiters! I'm done playing around!"

'Caution! Disabling the limiters will cause the star core to overheat.'

"You think I don't know that! Just do it!" to his left a new ability card appeared and he started to laugh. "It's over for all of you, you're all gonna die! Ability Activate, STAR CORE LIMIT RELEASE!" Suddenly Cybertross was covered in a purple aura as indigo electricity was crackling all over its body. Its eyes were glowing a bright red

Maxus Cybertross: 1400(+1000)= 2400

Darius saw this happening as Vesta and Maia were overlooking the battle from a safe distance. "Not good!" he eyed his companions. "We need to get out of here, Daro's going to overload his star core!"

"That's bad right?"

"No kidding, not only does that double all of his abilities going forward... but that puts huge pressure on the Star Core... disables all the cooling systems and re-routes all power to the weapon and offensive systems heats it further and if the core gets too hot, it will reach thermal runaway before it melts down and them boom!"

"But we can't leave the others down there!" Vesta said.

"Fine!" He decided to communicate with Sakuya through the earpiece he gave her. "Listen, you need to tell the guys down there to end this battle, and I mean to finish it right now... if Daro uses abilities now, Cybertross' core is going to explode... and you guys are deep in the blast radius!"

"W-WHAT!?" Sakuya screamed.

She saw that Cybertross was about to step on her, but Cera flew in and grabbed her before Cybertross could crush her.

"Y-you guys need to finish this now... otherwise that Bakugan will explode, with us in it!" Sakuya exclaimed.

Cera put the pieces together quickly. "That idiot. If he can't beat us, he's going to take us with him!"

"Double Ability, Ventus Attack Mode! Plus Ballistic Barrage!" He gained green circular wings that allowed him to hover above the ground and there were missle ports that opened all over his body and they fired green energy missiles at Spectra and Helios

Maxus Cybertross: 2400([+150 +450]*2)= 3600 / Infinity Helios: 2250

"This guy is crazy! If you want to get yourself killed, then I won't stand in your way!" Spectra exclaimed. "Double Reversion Ability Activate, Ragnarok Apocalypse plus Fusion Reversion Ability, Ultimate Quasar!"

Helios' stomach armor opened, and he charged a tremendous energy blast made up of orange and black fire. Spectra on his end powered a large purple orb that had orange and black flaring energy surrounding it. He held it right over his head and was making it grow bigger and bigger trying to make it bigger than Helios himself.

"Ready, Helios... I'm pouring everything I've got into this one."

"You better Spectra, 'cause I'm sick of this guy!"

"RAAAAAAH!" they both unleashed their attacks, Spectra tossing down his Ultimate Quasar and Helios unleashing his Ragnarok Apocalypse.

Daro's proximity beacons went off as both attacks crashed right onto him, creating a blinding explosion that engulfed everything in a bright flash.

Maxus Cybertross: 3600(-750 -800)= 2050 / Infinity Helios: 2250(+750 +800)= 3800

As the explosion was starting to clear it was seen that the remaining Maxus parts had all but turned to ash as it was just Core Omni Cybertross left.

Omni Cybertross: 2050(-200*3)= 1450

"ENOUGH! I AM SICK OF ALL OF YOU! Ability Activate, Merciless Slash!" he eyed Nightshade, and Cybertross charged right at the Darkus Bakugan. The hands were spinning like drills and his purple boosters ignited.

Omni Cybertross: 1450(+500*2)= 2450 / Nightshade: 1500(-500*2)= 500

"NIGHTSHADE NO!" Sakuya exclaimed.

Lunaris soon stood in front of the wolf. "Do not worry, no harm will come to you! Reversion Ability! Monarch Swarm!" Lunaris' wings opened and there were fairy scales that leaked off and they transformed into purple razor-sharp butterflies. "Now Cera!"

Cera flew in behind Cybertross and had a special card in her hand. "Ascended Reversion Ability Activate, CHRONO PRISON!" Suddenly time slowed down for just Cybertross while it appeared that time was sped up for Lunaris, allowing her to charge her attack faster as more and more razor butterflies appeared.

"FOR AESON'S SAKE! MOVE!" Daro furiously yelled.

"You won't be going very far thanks to Chrono Prison!" Cera said. "This is our Ascended Reversion Ability and it allows me to control the flow of time all over the field, slowing down time for you, but speeding up time for Lunaris!" Lunaris' power was immediately brought up by 500Gs Putting her at 2900Gs.

Lunaris had what looked like 30 to 40 sharp butterflies on her side ready and waiting. "NOW YOU SHALL PERISH!" Lunaris pointed forward, sending the butterflies right to the frozen Cybertross. The butterflies had sliced through the metal like paper, the damage was so severe that Cybertross had lost both his arms as they exploded off him violently, just managing to stay on his feet.

Omni Cybertross: 2450(-900)= 1550 / Lunaris: 2900

"NO, I CAN'T LOSE!" Daro was moving wildly in his cockpit as most of his screens had turned to static and blue arcs of electricity danced all over his pod.

There was another proximity alarm and he saw Cera high in the sky as she was floating in front of a full moon with her bow in hand. She pulled on her bowstring. "This is for everything you've done!" a large purple arrow appeared. "For all the Bakugan you've hurt!" magic circles were appearing in front of the arrow, and they appeared around Cera as well. She thought back to when he took Zavanna. "For hurting Zavanna..." The arrow had bright purple energy leaking from it while Cera pulled back as hard as she could. She saved his biggest transgression against her for last. "And this is for hurting Akira!" Crescent moons appeared in her eyes and the eyes on her wings fully opened as her hair was shooting upward. "Fusion Reversion Ability - STAR EMPRESS ARROW!" She let go of the bowstring and watched as the arrow was growing bigger and bigger as it got closer and closer to Cybertross.

*BANG*

There was an explosion of metal ripping apart. The large arrow had pierced itself through Cybertross' chest and impaled itself into the ground, preventing the Bakugan from moving.

Omni Cybertross: 1550(-600)= 950 / Lunaris: 2900(+600)= 3500

Daro was wounded inside the cockpit, and alarms were going off for different parameters. He was dazed and saw the emergency lighting was active. His electronics were shooting sparks all over. The fire suppression systems were activated as the extinguishers went off in the cockpit. As his vision was returning to him, he could only see one thing on his screen that read 'CORE BREACH'. But he was so dazed that he looked like he was about to pass out. He looked to his right and saw Cera's plasma arrow going through the entire cockpit, the hot plasma had burned through his suit on his mid-section as well as burned a huge portion of his right arm.

He hung forward in his chair and finally passed out. The front of his cockpit was suddenly ripped open, revealing the outside. Helios's eye was glaring right at the inside of the pit, the alarms were blaring louder.

"Heh, you just missed!" Helios said to Cera who flew up to and inside of Cybertross.

She quickly tried to unbuckle his seatbelt but it was locked and it wasn't coming off. "C'mon!" The back of Cybertross exploded, shaking them and nearly making Cera lose her balance.

"Cera, we need to leave!" Spectra said.

Cera then held her hand out and a sharp butterfly appeared, and she commanded it to cut the straps of his seatbelt and his limp body fell onto her. "Guh..." she slowly flew him out of the cockpit and handed him to Spectra. "All of you get out of here, I'm going to slow the explosion." Spectra nodded as he and Helios flew far from the stadium while Nightshade and Spinark escaped on foot. She stretched her hands out, creating a hemisphere that turned Cybertross white as there was white hot plasma leaking out from his body. Soon it expanded into a white orb that engulfed the entire Bakugan. Time slowed down around the overloading Cybertross. "Lunaris, look around and see if anyone is around the city block, if you find anyone, get them out quick. I'm not sure what the explosion radius will be!"

"Right... just be careful!"

...

About 10 minutes later, the others were on an overlook that had a view of the stadium and they all saw what looked like a large mass of white-hot energy that Cera was trying to hold back. The mass of energy was spreading, pushing against Cera's time barrier.

"Um... is Cybertross supposed to explode like that?" Vesta asked.

"It's using a Star Core. It's a micro-sun." Darius explained. "And right now, because of the damage, it's going supernova. We're outside of the blast radius. But anyone inside it is going to be fried."

"You really decided to power your machines with a star?" Spectra asked as he transformed back to his base form.

"We create a synthetic sun by absorbing heat energy, but if it gets damaged or overloads... it's difficult to contain. It's not nuclear meltdown armageddon, but it's not good either way."

Sakuya walked up to them with Maia in tow. "Well, they get out in time?"

"Hard to say."

...

When Cera was holding it back, she could feel her power fading and she heard a voice in her head. "Cera, I checked everywhere. The area is clear, get out of there!"

Cera nodded, she then stood and kicked off the time barrier, pushing her away. Once the time barrier had faded, Cybertross's core went full supernova and the ball of white plasma energy exploded outward.

Cera was trying to fly as fast as she could as the explosion radius was catching up to her. She couldn't use any of her abilities to help her, lest she risk running out of power and falling into the plasma. But horrifyingly, she felt her power fading. Her wings were disappearing. "Please... just a little bit farther."

"I GOT YOU!" in a pink flash, both Vesta and Solaria appeared under her, and Vesta reached out her hand.

"Grab on!" Cera stretched as far as she could as her Reversion power was fading. As soon as their hands linked, Vesta pulled her in as Solaria had to slow down to make it easier for Cera to be pulled in. "I got her. NOW SOLARIA!" A pink aura surrounded the Fairy Bakugan and she was flying further from the spreading supernova. Fortunately, they managed to fly from the spreading heat radius.

The white mass of heat energy was so large that it was seen as a slow flashing, white glint from space.

...

Minutes later, Cera was lying on her stomach, her hair loose and all over with some scratches in her dress, Vesta was beside her lying on her back. Both were panting tiredly, and Solaria was next to her partner. "You...ok...Cera?" Vesta asked in between pants.

"That's it... after this, I'm retiring from Bakugan," she said as she turned to her friend.

Vesta eyed Cera with shock. "Heh, you're joking right?"

"Only half kidding, I can battle... but all this... I'd rather not keep doing this. It's too intense for me."

Vesta sat up. "But you're one of the very best, Cera. Heck, you have a shiny new Reversion Form!"

"I can contribute my skills elsewhere. Other than all this..." she stood up. "You forget battling was supposed to be recreational, now we're fighting a war. It kind of takes the enjoyment out of it for me, you know."

Vesta helped Cera to her feet. "Yeah, I get what you mean."

"CERA!" Lunaris was seen flying to her before she turned to her ball form and landed on Cera's shoulder. "Are you ok? You're not hurt are you!?"

"Nothing a few weeks of rest and relaxation won't fix."

Spectra took his mask off his face. "The city is not going to like this," Spectra said eying the intense damage that Bakugan City had taken.

Maia folded her arms. "Well, we pushed the Fabregans off their turf, so they should be thanking us. Speaking of, you sure we can trust him?" she pointed to Darius.

Cera walked up to him. "I don't know... can we?"

Darius chuckled. "You saw me lend Spinark to wolf girl, and after battling and seeing her alter-ego. I'd rather not piss you off. But I lost. To the others, I'm pretty much disposable. It's how it's always worked. I doubt Yukiko would keep me around should she win this... so I'm just going to hang with you guys and see how all this plays out."

Spectra glared at him. "If you try anything, you'll be put in a worse state than your insane friend here." he gestured to the injured, unconscious Daro. "Do I make myself clear?"

Darius held his hands up in defense. "Ok, ok I get it! Man, you Darkus battlers are hard to deal with sometimes."

"Well, we did our part, now what?" Vesta asked.

"Recover as much as we can and see how the others fare. We can't do much from Bakugan City other than chase out any stragglers from Yukiko's invaders. And because communications are down, it will be hard to contact the others. So our best option is to clean up Bakugan City and make sure it stays calm here. After that, we move on to help the others." he eyed Sakuya. "Hey, you did well."

Sakuya appreciated the kind words and smiled to herself. "T-Thank you."

"Hey!" they saw both Kimiko and Isolde approaching them.

Kimiko rushed over to them first. "We saw the huge explosion, are you all right?"

"We're... mostly in one piece..." Maia said. "Doing much better than him!" she pointed to Daro's unconscious form.

"D-Daro..." Kimiko whispered as she fell to her knees and lifted his face and saw that his major wounds had been bandaged up but still burned close to his face, had many tears in his pilot suit and there was dried-up blood on the right side of his head.

"We saved him by the way," Cera said as she knelt to meet Kimiko. "He overloaded his Star Core, and it looked like he was trying to take us out with him. We barely got out in time..."

"O-oh... thank you." Kimiko thanked with tears in her eyes

Cera sighed as she stood. "You want my opinion? He's too far gone, and I'd rather put him in a cell. Or an asylum at the very least."

"He's changed for the worst that much is true... but I'm his sister, he meant a lot to me."

"What does he mean to you now?"

She glanced away from her brother and eyed the ground to avoid Cera's gaze. "I don't know... but... I have to at least try and help him." She saw Sakuya kneeling to her and patting her shoulder.

"N-nothing wrong with trying to be nice to someone." Sakuya sweetly said. But suddenly, Reiko took over. "But if he treats you wrong, punch him in the face and leave him for dead!"

Kimiko started to sweat nervously. "U-um ok..."

Cera eyed the dark sky, her torn dress blowing in the wind. "I can only wonder how the others are doing."

The city of Bayview was no different from the rest of the world with Bakugan under the Fabregans roaming the streets. There were even some kids that were trying to fight off the Fabregan and Alursian invaders, but they ultimately weren't strong enough.

A blue venomous blast was fired at a Haos Manion, immediately sending it to its ball form. "Hey! Save some for me, Lena!" Zenet exclaimed as her partner Contestir stood behind her.

"This isn't a game, Zenet," Lena replied as her gauntlet stopped shining.

Zenet was taking in the surroundings, and she started to feel something off. "Hey, Lena... you getting that feeling of, deja-vu?"

"What do you mean?"

"I mean that... I dunno. You get the feeling you've been to this place before?"

"We've never been to Earth, Zenet. So I have no idea what you're on about."

Zenet lightly bopped her head. "Might be my mistake, still seems like a nice place."

"KRAHHHHHH!" they saw Ventus Metal Almos hovering above them, nearly blowing them off their feet. On top of the Bakugan were Phoenix and Jax, and the smaller Fabregan tossed his Bakugan.

"Bakugan Brawl! Marvellion Stand!" Marvellion stood in the air and slowly hovered down to the ground.

Marvellion stood as whips of water surrounded her. "I'm ready Jax, let's give them our all!"

Zenet panicked slightly while Lena stepped forward. "So, this is the resistance that everyone was predicting! Phosphos, crush them!"

A bright green Phoenix was soaring in the skies on the other side of the city, and standing on top of her was Shun Kazami who was folding his arms

"Do you see anything, Shun?" he heard Marucho asking over his earpiece.

"Just our Bakugan, it seems our forces have it handled," he answered as he flew over the old Bakugan Interspace Terminal. "It doesn't make sense... it seems way too easy...too quiet." He heard an explosion below him and it sounded like a Bakugan opening. "Huh!?"

"HAAAAAAAAH!" a pink and red blur shot past him and it fell slowly, revealing itself to be Pyrus Dragness.

Zaria smirked as she stood on top of her partner. "Heya! How's it goin'? Wanna battle?" Shun blinked. "Trick Question, you're under Yukiko's mind control so you wouldn't listen regardless." Shun remained silent before preparing himself for battle as the nightly wind blew past him.

Marucho was standing by the base of the Bayview towers and he heard footsteps approaching him, he turned and slightly gulped when he saw it was Garfield. "So, it's you guys."

"I know you have no memory of anything. But that doesn't matter to me!" Garfield said he didn't hold himself back as he suddenly turned to his Ascended Reversion form as a burst of water splashed around him. "I've got a lot to work through, so nothing personal... but I'm going to crush you!" Aquafiban stood in his Reversion Form as well and looked Menacing.

"H-he ain't got nothing on us!" Elfin exclaimed. "Right, Marucho!"

"Y-yeah, Yukiko put her trust in me, so I've got to fight as hard as I can!"

Another Aquos Bakugan had opened on Garfield's shoulder. "H-hey... go easy on him. He doesn't know he's being controlled."

"I know, Preyas," Garfield said. "That's why I want to end this quickly! But if he proves to be challenging. Then I won't hold anything back."

Marucho had thrown a gate card onto the field. "Gate Card set!" a blue ripple had spread through the field. "Let's give them our all Elfin, Bakugan Brawl! Elfin Stand!"

After appearing on the field, she pointed at Aquafibian. "Ok Buster, you have no idea who you're messing with."

Garfield grunted. "That's my line. And trust me, you're not walking away from this one piece, Elfin."

"Hey, don't hurt her too!" Preyas exclaimed.

Marucho closed his eyes. "Yukiko put her trust in me by putting me in charge of Bayview... this was expected. I won't let her down!"
