Outside of the door, Amity stood waiting with the weapons in a pile next to her as Luz walked out and faced her.

"Did everything-" Amity was cut off as Luz hugged her, surprising her.

"Thank you." Luz said to her.

"I should be thanking you." Amity said.

"You stopped me from making a big mistake." Luz said.

"And you helped me save my siblings. And you're still saving me too." Amity said as they pulled apart. "Come on, let's go back downstairs."

Luz nodded as she picked up all of her weapons and walked down with Amity to see the worried faces of Eda, King, and Hooty in the den.

"Are you okay, Kid?" Eda asked, worried for Luz.

"Yeah. I think I am. And…..I'm sorry about that. Just a nightmare gone wrong." Luz said with a sad smile.

"Kid, never apologize for that." Eda said, hugging Luz. "You didn't mean to do it."

"But I still attacked you. My mind is going nuts. I need something to help with these flashbacks or else I'm gonna kill someone before I snap out of it." Luz said, holding her head down.

"Maybe Eda can make you something." Hooty suggests. "After all, she's also mentally unstable."

That comment resulted in a loud whack and Hooty went back to the door with a black eye.

"Fuck you, Hooty." Eda said with a glare.

"Hehehehe." King chuckled a bit.

"What are you laughing at, tiny?" Eda asked, breaking the hug with Luz.

"He's kind of right." King said, pointing to Eda. "You are kind of unstable."

"Everyone is unstable, it's nothing special." Eda argued.

"Is it usually like this here?" Amity asked.

"Kind of." Luz said, smiling at Eda and King.

Amity stared back to Eda and King, seeing them argue but found it…….nice. Very nice compared to her own home.

'I kind of wish my family was like this.' Amity thought.

"Need someone to walk you home?" Luz asked.

"Oh! Right, no no. I'm fine." Amity said, coming from her thoughts.

"You sure?" Luz asked her.

"Completely, I can walk home on my own." Amity said before she held out her hand. "But do you have a piece of paper? I want to give you my Pennstagram information so we can stay in touch."

"Oh, okay." Luz said with a nod.

Luz looked around before grabbing a piece of paper from the coffee table and handed it to Amity. The witch used some abomination magic to write on it, giving Luz her contact information.

"I guess I'll talk to you later." Luz said.

"Yeah it'll be nice to talk to you." Amity said, rubbing the light scar on her forehead. "Thanks again for everything."

Amity left and Eda handed Luz something.

"Well, that paper won't do much good without one of these." Eda said.

Looking at the object, Luz watched it unfurl to show it was a scroll. A witch and demon version of a phone on earth.

"You're giving me this? What about you?" Luz asked.

"That's not mine, I stole that from a shop a year ago." Eda said with a shrug, pulling out her own scroll.

"She just keeps it as a spare. Still, you're lucky to have it! I've been asking for it for a year!" King shouted.

"Who would you call?" Eda asked him but got no answer. "That's what I thought. Besides, I won't always be around and she'll need someone to contact she trust in case she has another episode."

"What about me?" Hooty asked, stretching from the door.

"You'd probably suffocate her while hugging her or she might try to kill you." Eda said.

"That's not true." Hooty said.

Luz wasn't paying attention as she was looking over her new magic phone, trying her best to fix it out. She opened penstagram somehow, the scroll was similar yet completely different from her normal phone.

"Okay, now I just need to find Amity's username." Luz said, looking at the app.

'Kind of reminds me of instagram.' Luz thought.

The videos, the pictures; it was all like the social media app from Earth. Only the pictures and videos were a lot cooler.

"There she is." Luz s said, finding Amity's Pennstagram. "Now to make a profile and message her."

'Though, what should my name be?' Luz thought as she got to work. 'Just my name or a clever profile name? I don't want to seem like I'm trying to hard but if I don't, I might come off as boring.'

"Thinking of your profile name?" Eda asked.

"A little. Got any ideas?" Luz asked, sitting in the couch.

"I don't know, dark light?" Eda said randomly. "Cuz you got a good light inside but it's a little dark."

"Hmm." Luz wondered before snapping her fingers. "I got it!"

Elsewhere, Amity got a message on her scroll. She looked at the picture and it was Luz in her purge outfit giving a peace sign.

"Oscura, huh?" Amity said, reading her user name.

Recognizing that mask, Amity looked into her profile and read it before confirming this was Luz. She smiled at this as she accepted her friend request.

Witchchick- Oscura?

Oscura- It means Dark in Spanish, the opposite of my name, which means Light.

Witchchick- Luz means Light? Interesting.

Oscura- Yeah, and during the purge, my dark side comes out so I figured, why not?

Witchchick- Sounds cool.

Oscura-Thanks.

Witchchick- So, what's up?

Oscura- Just wanted to make sure I found you on Pennstagram and check on you to make sure you got home safely.

Witchchick-Well, I can see my house from where I'm standing, so yep, got home.

Oscura- Okay, I got it. Talk to you later, okay?

Witchchick- Definitely.

Luz exited the chat and put the scroll away.

"So, how was it?" King asked.

"Not bad. It was very nice." Luz said to him, smiling a bit.

So when's the date?" Eda asked with a smirk.

"Not a date and not happening." Luz said, rolling her eyes.

"Please, you two are made for each other." Eda said.

"We were not." Luz denied.

"Are too." Eda said before sighing fondly. "Reminds me of my first love."

"What, liquor?" Luz asked as a joke.

"No, this person kind of introduced me to Apple Blood actually." Eda said.

"Oh my god, was it a teacher?" Luz asked with wide eyes.

"What?! No! They were my age! Titan, what is wrong with you!?" Eda asked her.

"A lot but can you blame me? Alcohol isn't for kids in my world." Luz said, holding her hands up. "Outside of Purge night, the drinking age is 21 in my world and country."

"So you've drank before?" Eda asked, smiling at this. "Because pretty much anyone can drink here."

"You're missing the point." Luz said, crossing her arms.

"Yeah, you were telling us about your crush!" King said, wanting to go back to the story.

"Not really a crush, more like a partner, I mean, we got together in school and oh boy! Their 18th birthday will NEVER leave my mind." Eda said, feeling very happy for the fond memories.

"Really?"Luz asked.

"Oh yeah, I gave them a present they'll never forget." Eda said with a grin.

"Okay, I don't think I need to hear-"

"Oh, when I dropped that robe, I was certain they were about to drop-"

A knife whizzed passed Eda's head and into the wall.

"Okay, I think we heard enough." Luz said, with her arm still out. "Remember, I have my weapons again."

Eda rolled her eyes as she walked away.

"Fine by me, wait til you're older to handle a steamy story. It may give you hints for when you and Blighty tie the knot." Eda said.

"Okay, we've upgraded from knife to gun." Luz said, reclaiming her knife and pulling her pistol out. "I won't kill you but I will make you HURT!"

"Nap time!" Eda said as she drew a spell circle, hitting Luz with a sleep spell and knocking her out.

"You…..bitch." Luz said, slumping against the couch and sleeping.

"You'll thank me later." Eda said, picking up Luz and bringing her back to her closet room.

She set the human down in her sleeping spot, putting her weapons away, and looking around to see how lacking this was for her to live in.

'I should at least get her a twin sized bed.' Eda thought. 'But that can wait for another day.'

Eda left the room quietly and allowed Luz to sleep, this time with no nightmares or death flashes from people she killed in the past. For once, she had a peaceful sleep.
