It has been 10 years since i started to publish this story and I recently happened upon it again. I have rekindled my fire to write, though I will not be completing this story. I will include a rough summary of the story as I had planned it to give some closure to anyone out there who may be interested, but it will not be completed due to some negative and unsettling undertones in some of the characters that I find quite gross to continue.

Blue Bunny was a fanfiction for Vocaloids that was inspired by the 'Rugrats Theory' and 'Story about a poor rabbit' and held references to several other vocaloid songs.
The overarching storyline focused on Neru, in her real life and in her life inside her mind. In her real life she lived in a ward run by her possible relative/family friend Kaito, where he and his wife/nurse and the facility Meiko took care of her. Haku was Neru's sibling who she was supposed to watch and died when Neru had grown tired of dealing with her, she had wandered off and got struck by a car. The twins were a mental conjuring up of what the kids may have been from a failed pregnancy of Meiko's. Miku was the "ideal" sister than Neru had always been jealous of. Due to some reason Neru had a psychotic break (original I know) and ended up in the facilty where Meiko took pity on her and tried to keep her in a constant state of bliss by drugging her, not wanting her to suffer with the cruel things that Kaito did to the patients.
While being drugged Neru was in her mind (where most of the story took place). Kaito was a puppeteer revered by all who could do no wrong. Meiko was the nagging bossy woman, Miku was the ideal prick, Haku was the bumbling kid who haunted Neru, and the twins were they symbols of her torment. Len was evil and vindictive, he took everything out on Rin and abused her. Rin took the abuse as a means to protect the others from it, not wanting anyone else to have to suffer at the hands of Len. He finally said she wasn't enough and he wanted to hurt others and Rin tried to stop him, which is the point we got to in the story.
After this point in the story we would see Neru wake up more often in the real world and come to realize what was truly going on around her and trying to put a stop to Kaito's evils and putting an end to sacrificing herself in hope it would be enough to satisfy him.
Sadly I don't have an amazing conclusion for you all as i left the story outline vague enough where I could build upon it as I wrote it and has no plans for either a "good" or "bad" ending, so I have no idea if the story has any ideal end. With the dark and twisted undertones living in parallel to some of my own past experiences I will have to stop this story, but if anyone feels inspired to try and carry it on or rewrite it I welcome them to do so, and I would love to see it.
