Jen was enjoying a meal at the guild hall she was sitting at a table with Natsu and Lucy "I'm telling you for the last time I'm not gonna fight you!" Jen sighed ever since she came back from her last mission Natsu has been bugging her nonstop about a fight, despite this Natsu and Lucy were Jen's best friends since she joined Fairy Tail, while Jen was away with with her jobs the two had gone on a couple of missions together, Jen would be lying if she said she wasn't jealous of Natsu getting to spend time with Lucy she was probably Jen's best friend since arriving in Earthland
"What am I gonna do" Lucy whined
"Go on a job and get paid seems pretty simple" Jen joked she knew exactly why Lucy didn't want to do that
"That's easy for you to say, Natsu didn't even take payment for our last job" Lucy cried comically, he refused the payment since they technically didn't do what the job listing asked for, "I know it's kinda morally the right thing to do but I still need to pay rent" Lucy complained to Jen
"my Grandpa Max would always say being a hero is its own reward" Jen laughed "but I don't think the landlady would accept that instead of jewel"
"your Gramps sounds pretty wise" Natsu laughed as he ate, "if you're that desperate for money Lucy go up to the board and pick a job"
"alright" the blonde sighed as she walked over to the request board but didn't see anything that interested her
"found anything yet" Natsu laughed as he joined her at the board
"What can't read the board yourself flame brain" laughed Gray
"Watch your mouth Gray" Natsu shouted as he and Gray began to go back and forth, the fight was cut short by Loke barging through the doors
"Erza's back!" The young wizard yelled in panicked voices, the entire guild looked as if a shiver went down their spin
"Who's Erza" Jen asked Lucy and Mirajane
"Seriously?" Lucy shouted "She's only the most powerful woman in Fairy Tail", Jen laughed nervously but before she could talk back she saw a girl with red hair wearing armour and holding a massive decorative horn
"I have returned, Mirajane where is Master Makarov" the redhead spoke with a sense of authority
"Welcome back Erza the master's just out at a conference right now and won't be back for a couple of days" Mira answered
Erza sighed at this news "Are Natsu and Gray here" she spoke, the two boys had been acting all friendly with one another in fear of Erza, "I need you two to do me a favour, while I was travelling I heard some worrying news, I'd normally consult with the master in times like these but we must act quickly, you two are the strongest wizards here, I could really use your help if you choose to join me meet at the train station tomorrow morning", the whole guild hall erupted in whispers about the three of them teaming up, and with that, Erza left the guild hall
"wow must be something pretty serious," Jen said while sitting next to Lucy and Mira at the bar
"yeah but I doubt Natsu and Gray can keep themselves from fighting long enough to get whatever needs done" Lucy sighed
"well that's something I wanted to ask you, Lucy, can you go with them and keep those two in check for Erza," Mira asked
"wh..what me, I can barely handle Natsu on his own" Lucy cried "Jen you're strong help me out here"
"alright I'll come with you" Jen laughed "I still owe you one for helping me find an apartment"
Jen's apartment
our emerald eyed hero had made it home to her apartment after a day at the guild hall "god what a day" she sighed "It's been weeks and I'm still stuck here" Jen had expected Paradox to have come and told her how to get back within the first week but she wasn't so lucky, "I guess it's pretty fun here, but still" it was true that there hadn't been a major invasion since the last time Jen beat Vilgax, the universe had became much more peaceful place since then and the plumbers had become more present on earth, so Jen hadn't had much action for a while, the rest of Jen's evening where spent searching for this world's equivalent to comics or some kind of entertainment
train station
Jen had slept in and had to rush to the train station, she thought of using XLR8 to get there but thought it would be best not to just in case she mistransformed into Clockwork or something, Jen ran up to Lucy who was sitting on a bench with happy and her celestial spirit plue, "hey Lucy what's up" Jen waved to her friend
"oh hi Jen just waiting for you and Erza" Lucy laughed "These two arrived earlier and haven't stopped fighting since," she said pointing at Natsu and Gray who were at each other's throats as usual
"so you're coming too Jen," asked Happy while enjoying a fish
"yeah I'm here to back up Lucy with babysitting those guys" Jen laughed as the two boys yelled in protest
just then Erza arrived carrying an enormous bag of supplies "Sorry I'm late, I had some last-minute packing to do, I hope you haven't been waiting long" As Erza spoke Natsu and Gray changed their tune
"ah no not really" Lucy replied
"I just arrived actually" Jen answered
"I believe I saw you two at the guild yesterday would you mind introducing yourselves," Erza asked
"my name's Lucy, I recently joined the guild, Mira asked me to come along with you all so I could learn a thing or two" The blonde introduced herself
"the names Jen, I joined the same time as Lucy, hope you're ok with us tagging along" the brunette answered
"the more the merrier" Erza thought for a moment "Wait you're the girl I heard about the one that can transform into a fire monster"
"oh I have way more transformations than just Heatblast" Jen boasted
"Really, it will be useful having a wizard like you on board for this mission," said Erza wondering just how many forms one wizard could have to brag about it in such a way
"hey Erza, I'll come with you but only under one condition" Natsu interrupted "I want to fight with Jen when we get back, hearing about her having more than just that fire one has got me pumped up"
"well that's not entirely up for me to decide, what do say Jen" Erza added turning to the girl in question
"fine I'll fight you once if that's what it takes to get you off my back about it" Jen sighed
"Alright then, now that's sorted everyone on the train we don't have the time to waste" Erza ordered with a glare making everyone rush onto the train

Natsu was not doing well on the train due to his terrible motion sickness "Is he like this every time he gets on a train?" Asked Jen
"yeah Natsu can't handle any form of transportation" Happy answered giggling
"he'll be fine" Erza said as she leant towards him "Now just relax and all the pain will go away" and wilt a swift gut punch she knocked him out
"was that really necessary" Lucy sighed as she realised nobody in fairy tail was normal
"Erza I think it's about time you filled us all in on what we're doing" Gray asked
"ah of course, I believe that the dark guild Eisenwald is planning something I'm not sure what exactly but I'm sure it's something big, it has something to do with a magic item called Lullaby"Erza explained "while I was on my last job I stopped at a Lyn inn and overheard some its members talking about it, I didn't realise it until it was too late"
"ancient evil that was sealed away, never ends well" sighed Jen
"she sounds experienced with this sort of thing?" Lucy thought to herself
"so let me get this straight," said Gray "You wanna stop these guys because of what you overheard and you're sure it's no good"
"correct that's why I asked for your help I'm not foolish enough to think I can do this alone, We're storming the Eizenwald guild!" Erza said with conviction
"Finally some real action" Jen smiled
"I think it's best if we discuss the magic we use this can help us work better on the battlefield" Erza suggested "I'll go first my magic is called the knight it allows me to change my armour and weapons at will, it gives me great versatility on the battlefield"
"I guess I'll go next," said Gray "I use ice maker magic so I can create weapons from Ice at a moment's notice"
then went Lucy "I'm a celestial spirit wizard so can summon allies to help us" she said in a voice that didn't scream confidence
then it was Jen's turn, she thought if she should just make up some kind of lie about transformation magic but she decided that being honest with these people was the best bet "Well I don't really have any magic, I use this alien device called the Omnitrix to transform" she said holding up her watch
"really it's all that device that's incredible" Lucy looked at the watch curiously
"so you can't use magic at all?" Gray asked
"yeah I've never been able to do it but my cousin Gwen's really good at it" Jen laughed reminiscing about all the adventures she went on with her cousin and Kevin
Onibas station
the group had made it to the train station and were walking away from the train when happy realised something "We forgot Natsu!" Cried the cat, before anyone could react the train had already left
"Are you guys alright if I go after him?" Jen asked as she dialled up an alien on the Omnitrix, Lucy gave her a nod and with that Jen slammed down on the watch and in a flash of green she was replaced by a red manta-ray-like alien with the Omnitrix located on her chest "Jetray" she shouted after her transformation and with that she flew off at supersonic speeds
"she's just full of surprises" Lucy smiled

it took no time at all for Jetray to catch up to the train when Jen got close to it that the train had stopped and one of the carts had its roof blown off "No doubt that's Natsu" Jen landed and returned to her original form with a sense of urgency as she knew Natsu wouldn't get that violent without a reason, she saw Natsu leaning on a chair and looking like he had been hit pretty hard
"so who's your friend Fly" laughed a man with dark hair that he had up in a ponytail
"just the girl who's gonna beat your ass for attacking her friend," she said as she slammed down on the Omnitrix and in a flash of green light she was replaced by a maroon-coloured mollusc alien it's exoskeleton had several grey vents that resembled barnacles scattered across it "Water Hazard" she yelled out
"so the new fly can turn into a crab big deal" Kageyama laughed as he sent tendrils of shadow flying at the Orishan sending her flying back, Jen took cover behind a seat before leaping over it and hitting the dark wizard with a water whip, then sending a high powered water blast at him, Kageyama managed to dodge the blast of water, he then sent a flurry of kicks and bunches at the girl then finishing his combo with the same black tendrils from before this sent Jen flying to the back of the cart, Water Hazard slowly got up then rushed the dark wizard with kick a kick to the side followed by a water blast knocking the man to the ground
"so had enough" Jen glared then turned to Natsu "Hey you alright"
"yeah just my motion sickness," Natsu said trying to hold in his insides
"I'm not letting you get two getaway, you're messing with Eisenwald now" Kageyama shouted,
Jen knew she couldn't let this guy escape after that, but before she could get any information out of him she heard a familiar sound followed by a flash of red "Come on for a watch you have the worst timing ever" she yelled at the Omnitrix before she could do anything Natsu grabbed her and jumped out the window luckily the rest of the group had managed to catch up in a magic mobile and Jen and Natsu where caught by Gray but he was also thrown off the vehicle by this
"Are you too alright?" Erza shouted as she stopped the Magic mobile
"we're fine," Jen said as she got up "Erza that guy was from Eisenwald, my transformation ended before I could get any information out of him"
"While I'm disappointed that you couldn't catch him I'm glad you're both safe" Erza said calmly
"I did notice he was holding some kind of flute, it was kinda creepy it had a skull with three eyes at one end" Jen added
"a three-eyed skull?" Lucy said in disbelief "I've heard about that flute before Lullaby the cursed Song, it's death magic"
"if that's the case we have no time to lose" Erza said as everyone got on the Magic mobile
