Dear David,
The final month has come upon me and things are moving quickly. There are rumblings from my Mother Rose that Father will be inviting me back into the royal fold. The minute I am back at the palace, my first job will be to find you and reunite us once more. I will utilize the best private detective in the palace, nothing and no one will be able to keep you from me.
When we reunite, I will have had the baby. The midwife, Elizabeth, holds firm to the belief that the child will be a boy. She has assured me a safe delivery here, free from the prying eyes of others. Mother has encouraged me to create a story for the baby, that the child has been abandoned and that I am choosing to adopt him as my own. You, my mother and eventually my father may be the only ones who know the truth besides us.
Speaking of family, there is news that Lucinda, Jack's new wife is also pregnant. Imagine two children running around the palace. It is no wonder that my father's spirits seem to be up. I take this as a sign that God remains on our side and everything will go well according to His time.
