I'm starting to hate that the police force has joined us. Since they came, I didn't have a moment of peace and I had to pay attention to where everyone was because they almost buried me twice with tapes from the surveillance cameras. And not to mention that Naomi and Aizawa often argued where mostly Naomi had to knock some sense into Aizawa's head and that was not quiet at all for my cat's ears.

Fortunately, Ryuzaki noticed from time to time and sometimes he would warn them to be careful because I was also in the room, but not in the nicest way. ,, I would ask you to be careful where you put things that are sensitive evidence and information." sensitive information my ass. They could easily photocopy the new reports as well as get new copies of the surveillance footage. Only Watari occasionally dragged me to the kitchen with him as he would keep me company as well as take a break from the chaos that was going on in the next room. He would often give me berries that he put on the cakes when he noticed that I was looking them like a fish water.

Since then, every time he took a few for me, which I was very grateful. This time he made pistachio ice cream for everyone and even remembered to bring a small plate for me since I obviously can't hold a cone. When we got back to the room everyone was exhausted. They didn't seem like people anymore but the walking dead who they still somehow manage to talk. As well as going days without showering my cat's nose it was a bit of a struggle to ignore the smell but that's a cat's life.

Next up was the video tape of Raye which meant I would to be able to finally hand over the envelope to Ryuzaki without feeling stupid when he asks where I got it from and what it is. Not to mention how hard I worked to drag the envelope from one end of town to the other in this new hotel and hide it without anyone noticing. In addition to Naomi and Watari who together with Ryuzaki are watching everything that happens in the main room where I usually hide things was not easy. But everything will be alright because soon they will see my masterpiece.

Ryuzaki's POV

Watari was handing out portions of ice cream while Aizawa put in a video so we could see the footage of Raya's death. Matsuda commented that the quality of the recording was very bad, but I knew that it would still be useful if there was anything useful on it.

As Raye entered the train, he was followed by a very familiar black cat that the others didn't seem to notice, as well as the envelope he was carrying with him that wasn't with him before he entered the station. I decided to watch the video to the end before drawing a conclusion and I had everything to see. The moment Raye got off the train and fell to his knees, a black cat came out after him with an envelope in its mouth and together Raye looked towards the entrance of the train from which a hand briefly peeked out and then quickly retreated back to avoid being slamed with the train door.

I guess others around me looked shocked while I turned to Kei, who looked at me for a second and then crawled under the drawer and a minute later pulled out the envelope from the video. The others seemed confused as to why she brought that envelope while I looked on surprised and very pleased with what Kei had pulled off. She was smart enough to hide the Envelope by the time we were reviewing the surveillance footage since she couldn't communicate with us. What thrilled me the most was that this could be the crucial piece of evidence we needed to break the case.

Kei handed me the envelope and looked me straight in the eye as if she knew I understood what I was looking at while the others seemed suspicious of her behavior. Naomi seemed to be beginning to understand what this was all about. "What is it Ryuzaki?" I carefully took the envelope with my thumb and forefinger and passed it to Watari who immediately began to open and analyze the composition with gloves on my hands so as not to leave prints on the evidence while I addressed the others.

,,It's really the envelope from the video. What's more, Raye didn't have it when he got into the station, but before he got on the train, he had it. After he finished his ride, he got out without it, which apparently Kei used to take it." The others were surprised as Matsuda asked. ,,Sorry Ryuzaki but I don't see why the envelope is so important right now. I'm more suspicious that Kei was there at the time of Raya's death," Matsuda had the right to be more suspicious of Kei, but she only confirmed her loyalty to us by bringing something that would be of great help to us. I wish that I find out how she managed to end up in the right place at the right time but it's almost impossible to find where the cat comes from.

Unlike people they don't have ID's, birth certificates, passports, it's hard to tell them apart when they're so solid. A lot of mystery surrounded Kei but I was sure of one thing and that was that she was a friend and that she was very helpful. Maybe I should take into account her previous couple of attempts to point something out, but it seemed to me that the only way to find out was to continue the investigation.

Kei was sitting next to me looking at the TV while the others were waiting for an answer from me. I was quite proud of Kei that I started petting her head to show her that I was happy with her work. ,, Well you see I look at it this way. Kei appeared suddenly and has been following me and Watari closely ever since. She was smart enough to take the envelope and hide it until I was sure none of you were Kira and Naomi joined us. I think this confirms that we shouldn't suspect her." Then I turned back to the screen and continued with the story. ,, But next to the envelopes, Raye got on the train and drove an hour and then got off the platform where he had a heart attack. But the Yamada line should only take an hour to make a circle, and envelope Kei brought." after which I rewound the recording and allowed the others to notice what I was explaining until a moment ago. "The envelope is not on the list of his personal belongings," Chief Yagami added. Then Naomi chimed in. "I can confirm that he did not have any envelopes in his possession when he left home that day." This was more than enough to convince them to give up on Kei and focus back on the case.

"If you focus on this part here when he fell on the platform, you'll notice that Raye is trying to turn around and look at the train along with Kei who was looking at the same thing." Everyone went into their thoughts as Chief Yagami was the first who dared to ask. "Wouldn't it be interesting if Kira was on that train." the others gasped at my statement while Naomi spoke up.,, That would be very possible when you mention it." the others still weren't the most convinced of what I was saying. "But that's impossible." Chief Yagami tried to correct her but I intervened. "I must admit that I myself find it difficult to believe as well. There is no reason for Kira to come to the scene of her own crime when he can simply kill the distance. Maybe he was counting on us to make that premonition and thus discover that he can slip through with such a blunt move, like the hand at the end of the video was trying to grab Kei but missed because the train closed." Then watari came up with the basic results the contents of the envelope as I did with him.

Kei seemed surprised at the speed with which she had to go over the evidence she had gathered. From what Watari had gathered Kira was careful not to leave any fingerprints or a strand of hair or anything. I didn't expect that it would be so easy since he had been careful enough so far not to be discovered. There was a communicator inside that worked underground and it was impossible to threaten this species or record a conversation through it. He thought this all out well so he wouldn't be caught .At the bottom of the horn were paper envelopes with slits where the names of the agents and their chief of operations were written. Inside were pages on which next to each name was written what each person would do before the time of death. What's more, there were a couple of blank papers that I guess the reason they were there was because Kira didn't know the exact number of agents, so that was another reason why he needed Raye.

All the agents died of a heart attack except the boss who first sent information about all the agents to everyone and then had a heart attack. This confirms that Kira is one of the people Raye followed, there is no doubt about it. ,, Ryuzaki, can you infer something from this, because it doesn't seem to make sense to me. Why would Kira ask Raya to write names on the pages of those papers if he could kill them all without them. " Aizawa had a right to this but this could just be one of the Kira games like the message he sent me. I guess Raye had to open his computer and write all the names like that since the teams didn't know about each other. While he was writing the screen of names was open to one who knew where to look and could easily see the faces as well as the names of the agents with magnifying glasses while the papers were just a show to those around him and a way to convey the communicator. Just by being flawless no fingerprints or any other evidence indicated that he saw the possibility of the envelope being accidentally picked up by someone else. He should have saved this as evidence as it might be useful to us later.

I then put everything back as it was and removed the gloves from my hands as I continued I gave them their ice cream while the others looked at me. ,, It seems that Kira was careful enough that even Kei couldn't surprise him, but this confirmed one thing for us. That Kira was one of the people that Raye was following and that was on the hijacked bus. There is no doubt about that." the trick to send emails to all the agents to hide his trail has failed so that at least we have a very narrow circle of suspects." Kei looked very disappointed with her ears down and her head down as if she had expected more than what she found, but even this little bit was priceless. ,, I would like to focus on the investigation, but only on those that Raye Penber observed. Practically he was assigned to observe two households."

Everyone was of course delighted that we could reduce the investigation to such a small number of suspects, which meant that it would be both harder and easier for us at the same time to find him and we need solid evidence in order to arrest him.. ,, Okay, who are the two individuals he investigated?" then I turned to Police Chief Yagami and informed him that he and course hit and hurt him a lot knowing that Kira could be one of the family members.,, I would like to install cameras and recorders in the ob household as soon as possible." the others protested how I could even suggest that because it could cause a scandal and do a lot of damage. But if we had to somehow implicate Kira in the act we should have put him in there where he thinks he has the most privacy and security. When I told them that it was likely that he was in one of Kira's households, the others still hesitated, but Soichiro accepted, knowing that this was the only way to clear the suspicions.

The others convinced him that it was wrong to do so. He wasn't upset that this was the only way to catch Kira so Naomi agreed to be on shift to watch when his daughter and wife were on video which made it easier for everyone to accept. I kind of felt sorry for Chief Yagami. He is the only one who I can say fully understands the situation and the most open to cooperation, and his son is Kira and he doesn't even know it. The stress of having someone suspect his son while trying to keep the team together and their functionality, as well as trying to hold Aizawa back most of the time...

Tomoko POV

The first day when surveillance cameras and eavesdroppers were installed in the households of the suspects. A.k.a Yagami and Kitamura households. Naomi, Chief Yagami, Riyazuki and I watched the Yagami household while the others watched the Kitamura family, which was a huge relief. This is how they had peace and quiet, since Naomi had no one to argue with, and Aizawa was not there to question everything and impose his temper, so for the first time after joining the Task Force, my head was calm and without unnecessary headaches.

We watched as Light read a magazine with girls in swimsuits while his father marveled at how his son could read such a thing. The rest of us could easily see through that his acting was , I set all those traps to make sure no one found my dirty chaspoises. ' if he really wanted to make it look like he was hiding something, it would be more believable if he took a porn magazine. At the words of Mr. Yagami, unable to believe what he was seeing, Ryuzaki replied that it was normal behavior for a seventeen-year-old, but that it seemed too obvious. Then Mr. Yagami started to protest finally starting to understand that we suspected Light that he could be Kira and that was the main reason why we put up the surveillance cameras in the first place.

Naomi interjected,, If Light is innocent these videos will prove it so I don't see what the problem is." She said keeping her eyes on the screen as Light hid the magazine in one of the encyclopedia frames on his shelves while his younger sister was calling to come downstairs for dinner. When Light sat down at the table, his sister was babbling about how her favorite actor Hideki Ryuuga was so perfect and why none of the boys at her school were like him. Then Ryuzaki called the team that The Kitamura family and others were watching TV, Ryuzaki told them to play their ad about 1500 FBI agents coming to Japan. Light commented that it was obviously a trick and that it was the same as when L used with Lind so that this seemed stupid to him.

Naomi was quite shocked at that and in her eyes you could see the sudden fear that had come over her and her gaze was lost in thought. I on the other hand wanted to rejoice and say l how his the plan was stupid, but I saw something on the monitor that I hadn't noticed before. After Light taunted us imperceptibly he did a creepy little sneer that got on my nerves. But for Ryuzaki this was confirmation that his theory was correct and the probability of Light being Kira just jumped. Mr. Yagami decided to take a short break and go freshen up while only Naomi, Ryuzaki and I stayed to watch the rest of the Yagavi family eat dinner and talk about their day.

"Ryuzaki." Naomi began uncertainly in her polite voice as she approached us from where she was standing in the corner of the room. Ryuzaki just made an hmmm sound as a sign to continue the story. She seemed to hesitate a bit unsure of whether to say or not. ,, The day Tenshi brought me here... Before she met me, I was already at the police department looking for the detectives working on the Kira case and that's when I met Light. He didn't hesitate to give me some information who is it that you lost support from most of the police also knew basic information about how the agents were killed saying it has become common knowledge by now, the more I start to doubt it is true and maybe he was trying to buy my trust .

He also offered to leave a message for his father that I was looking for him and to call him right away. And after that when he introduced himself he even said how to spell his name correctly in symbols so I did the same but with a fake name." this really got the attention of Ryuzaki who saw the potential to use this as a clue and conformation when he met Light face to face. It also seemed like Light wanted to unlearn Naomi and if he really was the Kira to kill her stealthily, but he wanted to hear everything. "After that, Tenshi interfered with her acting and the story that she is my sister and how we haven't seen each other for a long time. She gave him a fake name and my fake surname so it was believable. When she said she was taking me directly to his father to report the clue I had discovered, he tried to convince her not to take me there and that it would cause problems for everyone because she was bringing an unknown civilian. In short, we were desolate when Tenshi put our fake names and phone number on paper in case that happened so we could contact him later. After that one of the lines Tenshi said during the conversation and slightly emphasized was, "Trying to capture Kira alone is very dangerous." so it turns out that Light is actually Kira..." She didn't have to finish that sentence to understood what she meant. As she spoke she clenched her fists that I'm almost sure she managed to pierce her skin with her nails and let the blood flow. She realized that she almost made a fatal mistake if I hadn't intervened, which I hoped she would be more careful from now on.

Ryuzaki thought about it for a while and then started stroking my head as he spoke. ,, If Light turns out to be Kira, we can safely say that Tenshi saved your life that day. That would explain why she wrote "Please all of you stay alive" as the last sentence of the message, because you were almost killed." This time, Ryuzaki took me carefully in his hands for a wonderful miracle, because I thought he was afraid of bacteria considering how he holds everything with two fingers, and pushed me towards Naomi. ,, Kei is good at cheering people up and calming them down.

Naomi took me in her hands and started running her hand through my soft short fur on my back, seeming a little more relaxed. ,,Sneaking through the crowd of crazy people in the hotel without being noticed and finding the evidence we need. You are very strange Kei." She spoke while her nose was rubbed by mine. If Naomi did not needed her, and she didn't need comfort now that she realized she was the possible killer of her fiance and could probably kill her too without her even knowing it, I would have scratched her face right here and now. I may be in the form of a cat, but I still have my human principles, thank you very much. "But I think it's best for your own good to stay hidden. If Light is Kira then it is highly likely that he will try to kill you again, realizing that you gave him a fake name. After all, you can't kill an already dead man."

Naomi just nodded understanding that I had now given her the perfect mask to work with, since Light expected us both to be dead and Ryuk would certainly not let him know that we had tricked him. Mr. Yagami then returned to their seats and continued to watch Light studying for his final exam and eating chips at first glance. Even though I knew he was hiding mini TVs in that bag and killing criminals like that, I couldn't possibly have an excuse for how I would know or how to point them out that there is a small TV in the bag. After about fifteen minutes, Watari came and told us about the deaths of the criminals that had been broadcast. Normally, people would have jumped at the chance and written Light off as a suspect, but L and Naomi shared a similar opinion, which was that Kira would certainly not to make such a glaring mistake after the cat ruined his plans last year and when Naomi almost lured him out by killing up, Kira and Ryuzaki meet at the To-oh University exam and that's when the real chase begins. But it won't be as Ryuzaki planned.
