Olivia Benson lay wide awake in her dark bedroom. As she lay there, her thoughts drifted to her feelings for Sonny. She would be lying if would say there was no attraction there; he was a great guy, funny, kind and smart. Yet, as Olivia's thoughts continued to swirl around the idea of being with Sonny. Olivia couldn't help but weigh the pros and cons of starting.

Olivia is unsure about being in a relationship with Sonny. Because of her involvement in his breakup with Amanda. As she considers the situation. She wonders if pursuing a future together is wise for the sake of their unborn child.

She wasn't sure if it was worth the risk of ruining their friendship. So, she decided to push those thoughts aside for now and try to get some much-needed sleep.

Amanda got concerned when she saw her friend Olivia's black eye in the squad room. She was so deeply affected by this sight that she went straight into the office and closed the door behind her. Forgetting about what had made her feel disappointed a few weeks ago. She wanted to know everything that happened to Olivia right then and there.

Amanda plopped in a chair across from Olivia, who gave her a

puzzled look. "What's the matter, Amanda?" Olivia asked.

"Liv, what's happened with your eye?" Amanda asked, sounding concerned.

Olivia looked down and paused before answering,

"Some idiots punched me."

"That's terrible." said Amanda, her voice full of concern. "How are you and the baby holding up?" She asked gently as she tried to hold back tears. Amanda got a lump in her throat thinking about how much pain and fear her friend went through.

Olivia said they were okay, but Amanda could tell she was still shaken up. Amanda listened as Olivia talked about what happened the night before. That she had to go to the hospital and how worried she was for herself and her baby.

"Why did not you call me?" Amanda asked, feeling hurt that Olivia had not confided in her when she needed her the most.

"Amanda, we're not getting along right now. " sighed Olivia.

"Liv, whatever happened I still care about you and worry how you're doing," said Amanda.

"I didn't want to be a burden to you. I also appreciate your concern." Olivia replied, her voice softening.

"I know we are in a very difficult situation, Liv, you will never be a burden to me... I care about you. We can always work on our relationship when the time is right." Amanda said with concern.

Amanda's heartfelt words surprised Olivia and made her realize that their differences did not diminish the bond they shared.

"I really miss you, Liv." Olivia cried as she looked at Amanda standing next to her. Her heart felt better after hearing those words. "We can't go back in time. But I'm willing to make up with you and move on." Amanda hugged Olivia tightly and Olivia hugged her back.

"I'm sorry for what happened between us." Olivia said pulling away from the hug. Amanda nodded and took a deep breath before speaking. "It's okay, Liv. I forgive you and I'm sorry too. Let us put the past behind and move forward as friends."

"That sounds great." Olivia replied with a small smile.

Fin saw Olivia and Amanda hug, glad that the tension was gone.
