Chapter 28.

Olivia was upset with Dominick. She hated that he had gone looking for her attackers without telling her. The last thing she wanted was for him to get hurt. But then suddenly it was like a switch. She didn't feel so angry with him as the days went by and realized that maybe, just maybe, she was actually grateful that he had helped her. The gang was off the streets thanks to him and Elliot.

"Are you free?" Olivia asked nervously as she leaned against the open door of his office. Sonny looked up from his desk and swallowed hard.

Olivia hadn't returned any of his calls or texts. She even walked right past him at the courthouse as if he was invisible.

"Are you ready to talk?" Sonny asked. Olivia bit her lip and nodded slowly.

"I just want to thank you for what you did, Sonny."

"You do?" he asked, confused.

"Yes, especially since they would still be out there wandering around. Someone else could be hurt by them, or I may have gotten attacked again." Olivia said.

"You're welcome…" Sonny trailed off. Olivia smiled softly before walking to where he sat.

"Do you hate me?"

"I could never hate you, Liv. I promise."

"Good, because I want to do something."

Sonny didn't know what to say, so he just stood when Olivia motioned him to. Olivia stood in front of him and, for the first time in a long time, she gave in to her feelings.

Olivia moved closer and gently cupped his cheeks in her hands before planting a firm kiss on his lips. As they kissed, they were completely in the moment. It was like a crazy mix of intense feelings and getting to know each other on a new level.

To make sure no one saw them making love in Sonny's office or even in Olivia's car, they resisted the urge until they got to Olivia's building. As soon as they got out of the car, Sonny had his arms wrapped around Olivia's body, his lips planting soft kisses on her swollen lips.
"I can't see where I'm going when you kiss me," Olivia murmured against his lips. They were standing on the sidewalk in front of her building and Sonny's hands were already trying to get under her shirt.

"Liv-" Sonny started, but he stopped when Olivia pushed him from her body.

"I live here with my child, Sonny. So can we wait to make love until we get upstairs? I don't need a neighbor to see this," Olivia breathed. Dominick swallowed hard before he nodded.

"Sure… But let's hurry."

The couple held hands and rushed into the building. Olivia requested the elevator and watched as Sonny squirmed beside her. He was so eager, and Olivia couldn't believe that she was excited too. Never in a million years did she expect for her and Sonny to have sex on purpose.

When the elevator dinged, Olivia was still caught up in her own thoughts. Sonny placed his hand to her lower back and helped to steer her through the doors. He pressed the button to request her floor, before wrapping an arm around her back and splaying a hand across her slightly swollen midsection.

"I cannot wait to get you upstairs," Dominick growled into Olivia's neck. He kissed her earlobe gently, before tugging her closer.

"The elevator is slow, so you will have to wait a little longer," Olivia grinned teasingly, her hand moving to where his rested.

After a long elevator ride, Dominick was nearly bursting with desire for her. He grabbed her hand and tugged her quickly down the hall, before waiting for her to unlock the door. Once inside, Sonny pressed Olivia firmly against the closed door and kissed her as deeply as possible.

He reached out and worked the buttons of Olivia's shirt until each one came undone, and her sun kissed skin was exposed. He stopped kissing Olivia for a moment and looked down at the lacy bra that covered her breasts.

"Do you know how to take this off? Or do I have to do it myself?" Olivia panted as she tried to catch her breath from their kiss.

"Don't underestimate me, Liv," Dominick grinned. He reached out and quickly undid the clasp in the middle of her breasts.

They undressed each other in the living room, clothes kicked into piles on the floor. Dominick boosted Olivia up and felt as she wrapped her legs around his waist. They continued to kiss and stumbled back towards her open bedroom door.

"B-bed?" Olivia asked, as she felt Dominick suck on the skin on her chest, her head tilted back. Dominick didn't respond, he just turned them around and laid Olivia on the bed. He went to grab his member before freezing.

"What are you waiting for?" Olivia asked breathlessly.

"Are you sure you want to do this? Our last experience was not great, and we have done nothing since the car…" Dominick trailed off. He was nervous all of a sudden.

The woman that was laying completely naked in front of him was someone he never expected to be with.

"If I didn't want to do this, we wouldn't be naked in my bed right now. We would never have left your office, and I probably wouldn't have kissed you. Okay?" Olivia breathed as she tried to calm him down. He looked at her, his eyes searching her face, making sure she was being honest.

"Are you-"

"I'm sure, Sonny. I promise… Now, I think we know what to do now. Right?"

"Right," Sonny smiled. He leaned down and placed a loving kiss on her lips. He was no longer hungry for this. Dominick wanted to take his time and enjoy making love to the mother of his child.

The two continued to kiss before Dominick grabbed his member and slowly guided it between Olivia's legs. Olivia wrapped her arms around his neck and buried her face in his strong shoulder as he thrust into her.

She knew Dominick wouldn't last nearly as long as she would, so she moved her fingers down and worked her clit to help Dominick out. Olivia could feel Dominick start to tremble slightly and his breathing pick up. He grabbed one of her hands and moved it over her head, their fingers intertwined.

Olivia closed her eyes and muffled a cry into his sweaty shoulder. She hadn't felt so completely satisfied in a very long time, but now she did. She felt and heard as Dominick Sonny finally released and leaned heavily against her. He tried not to crush her with his weight. He placed a weak kiss to the curve of her neck, before sighing deeply.

Sonny laid beside Olivia that night. He had offered to leave before Noah even got home, but Olivia insisted he stay. She even came on to him, and they made love once again.

"I can't believe we did that," Dominick breathed, as he gently caressed Olivia's midsection.

"Twice," Olivia said with a lazy grin. Dominick chuckled and nodded.

"Did it feel wrong to you?" Dominick asked. Olivia thought for a moment before leaning up and kissing his jaw.

"No, it didn't. I'm a big believer that things happen for a reason, even if I don't always like it. But now... I'm kind of glad it all happened," Olivia exhaled. Dominick held Olivia close and felt her snuggle into his embrace.

"I'm glad too." Sonny tenderly kissed her.
