Remnant identified as LV-696 is being colonized by the USCM and there are things to be found while colonization is underway. Plus they will meet some old Heroes who where Cryo sleeping for many years as the dangers posed by the Xenomorphs comes to Remnant, that includes other Factions from Earth.

"We have a mission here in the old abandoned SDC Mines, the threat is posed by the Black Goo has made some very hostile Pathogen creatures. What Weiss told us as far as she can remember with her sister Winter, the SDC Mines were use as Slave Labor for Faunus which is caused by their Power Hungry father Jacque Schnee, but ever since the that Engineer Ship crashed into Remnant the SDC Mines has been abandoned but some who are still there had died or converted by the Black Goo."

"What Weiss said that the Jacque only married Weiss's mother Willow Schnee for the money, if her Grandfather Nicholas Schnee knew about Jacque's true attention to begin with he would not have allowed him to marry his daughter Willow in the first place. In our time the SDC doesn't exist due to what happened to the planet caused by the Black Goo and the Xenomorphs infesting everywhere in the planet."

"On this Mission we are switching our Phalanx Specialist Armor and Phalanx Helmet with the Apesuit MK 3 Armor and Helmet to keep us more safe from the Pathogen."

SDC Mines

There is shooting heard in the SDC Mines, when the Colonial Marines landed and began exploring the place, they run into Pathogen Husk which are both Humans and Faunus who got infected by the Black Goo and mutated into horrifying Pathogen Monsters. Well this did horrified Team RWBY, JNPR, Penny and Winter who accompany them, but Blake on the other hand is even more horrified what the Black Goo did to her fellow Faunus.

"Keep Shooting!" Kyrrha said she keeps firing her M41A2 Pulse Rifles at the Pathogen Husk.

Blake with tears on her eyes from behind under her helmet who is armed with a M56 Smartgun keeps shooting at all of the Pathogen Husks that tries to lunge at them. "Keep yourself together Blake!" Yang said while killing more Husks with her Type-21 Shotgun and then smacks one with it before crushing it with her booth. "This is what really happens once a victim gets infected by the Black Goo Pathogen", Blake mutters to herself as she keeps shooting more Husks after realizing the horrors of the Black Goo Pathogen can do to a victim that gets infected by them.

"Oh here comes the Poppers", Mei-Lin/Beta said as they watch a swarm of Poppers coming their way.

"Just shoot them before they jump and blow up in your face", Amber/Buster said before everyone turn and shoot at the Poppers who all blow up after each bullet comes in contact with them.

Some of them need to reload after emptying their Clips, but some switch to their Twinhammer Pistol which is faster than reloading. Ruby kills one by sticking her combat knife right down the throat, Nora use her M95 Grenade Launcher to blow up many of the Poppers and Ren use his X43 Barrage SMG to kill as many Pathogen monsters that come at them.

"When we are done here we need blow this old SDC Mines apart so no more of that Pathogen can get out of here", Pyrrha said from Kyrrha's body that they need to blow the SDC Mines up so the Pathogen creatures cannot escape into the outside and infect anyone else that the Colonial Marines haven't found yet.

"Yes we do Pyrrha", Kyrrha said to her before stick her combat knife on a Husk that tried to grab her.

"Right now let's fall back!" Kyrrha said as they move back away from the mines back to the entrance, while one of the Marines shoots their M240 Flamethrower to incinerate many of the Pathogen Monsters including a Blight to be sure they don't catch up with them.

Already some of the Marines are killed like when one of them gets gobbled up by Husks and Poppers, others gets rammed by the Blights. Lasty one of them gets infected by the Black Goo Pathogen after their Helmets gets knocked off or damaged which made their fellow Marines to open fire at them to keep from becoming like the Husks.

"Dropship take off and fire a missile at the SDC Mines after we are all out so we can seal off the pathogen's attempts to escape, then will nuke this place after this", Kyrrha said to the UD-4 Cheyenne Dropship outside.

"Copy that."

Outside Entrance

The UD-4 Cheyenne Dropship lifts off while awaiting for the Colonial Marines to come out of the SDC Mines and then will fire the missile to prevent the Pathogen Creatures from getting out of the Mines. All of the remaining Marines manage to make it out while they keep shooting to keep the Pathogen Monsters back, "fire now!" Kyrrha said and the Dropship complies and fires a single missile at the entrance causing a cave in leaving all of the Pathogen Creatures trapped in there with no way out.

"Well that takes care if the Pathogen Monsters from coming out", Jaune said feeling like he menace that the Pathogen poises is over now.

"But it isn't over yet, we need to be sure they are all destroyed in the end with a Nuke", Kyrrha said as their UD-4 Cheyenne Dropship lands to pick them.

"I just hope this puts an end to the Pathogen menace", Blake said hoping they will face no more Pathogen threats.

"Surely it will, but the Xenomorphs are still the threat to Remnant", Kyrrha said because even if they are done with the Pathogen, they still have the Xenomorphs to deal with after this.

Later On

A single Conestoga-Class Light Assault Ship hovers high above the SDC Mines and then launches a nuke while the UD-4 Cheyenne Dropship heads back to Vale.

Coming Up next, with Vale almost in good condition it's time that everyone catches a break from Missions.

Black Goo Pathogen Creatures is another enemy that is featured in Aliens Fire Team Elite, first of all these creatures are created whenever a living creatures gets infected by the Black Goo made by the Engineers.

One guy name Fitfield in the Prometheus Movie was infected by this Black Goo and mutates into a hostile creature, but Elizabeth Shaw's Husband Charlie Holloway manage was able to get Meredith Vickers to have him incinerated before he can succumb to the infection.

This Black Goo was originally used by the Engineers to make new life on Earth, but mutating into hostile creatures means the Engineers have weaponized the Black Goo for their plans to destroy Humanity.

The Apesuit Armor was used by Weyland-Yutani Commandos but Colonial Marines also uses them.
