A/N Ignore the dates on the invite. That's the date of the actual wedding. It takes place right after Casey's award on April 15th. I picked that date because that's when the Cherry Blossoms are in bloom. Time is irrelevant in my story; things happen when they happen.

Now this part may upset some of you. This chapter is meant to be interactive. If you're on Facebook, you can go to The Chuck Book Club: Lord Rapier where you'll find pictures of places and people I describe. You will also find the music I cite.

Now, don't get too upset. If you're not on Facebook, you'll still enjoy the story in full. It's just a little added Visual and audio enhancement. In any case I hope you all enjoy this chapter as Charah heads into a new phase of their relationship.

Oh yeah, no attacks on the White House by enemy agents. This chapter is a celebration.

A Heart Torn

A Charah Tale By Lord Rapier

Chapter 41:

Wedding at The White House

The Oval Office

Chuck is headed towards Casey's room to get dressed for his ensuing wedding. He's almost there when a man in a blue sports jacket, white shirt, Blue and red striped bowtie, and gray slacks approaches him. "Good afternoon, Mr. Bartowski. I hope you were pleased with your partner's ceremony. My name is Helm, feel free to call me Matt. I'm a special assistant to the President. He asked if you might spare a few minutes for him. He's waiting in the oval office for you."

Chuck smiles and moves to step around him. "Yes, it was very nice. However I do have a wedding to dress for…"

Helm holds his hand up and smiles, "I understand Sir. The President assured me if you'll give him a few minutes he promised not to start the nuptials without you."

"This isn't a request, is it?"

"I'm sorry Sir? I don't understand. Of course it's a request, but… he is the President."

Chuck smiles and nods his head, "Lead me the way."

Chuck is taken to the same office that Casey was in not that long ago. The woman behind the desk looks up and picks up the phone. "Mr. President, Mr. Bartowski is here. Yes Sir, I'll send him right in."

"Sir The President is waiting, right through that door." She points.

Chuck nods, thinking. Okay I get it someone is putting me in my place. He opens the door to find Frank sitting behind his large desk. He picks his head up, "Be with you in a moment Chuck, have a seat. Just putting finishing touches on my part of your wedding."

Chuck gives him a smile , Right out of the manipulation handbook. He looks at the seats available. Ignoring them and the "command," he starts to stroll around the room. I really didn't have a chance to look around last time. He looks at the art, sculpture, and the design on the carpet in front of the President's desk. The eagle faces to the right where it's gripping the olive branch. Indicating honor and peace. Frank looks up, "You seem restless my friend."

Chuck walks over to stand in front of the large desk. "No, not restless, just wondering why the Commander-In-Chief summoned me to his office right before my wedding."

"Summoned? That seems a little harsh Chuck."

Chuck turns, walks over to take a seat on one of the couches. "Mr. President, we both know I'm not here as your friend. Why don't we get down to business so you can stop holding my family hostage."

The President walks around from behind his desk and takes a seat in the only single chair in the room. He takes a deep breath in and blows it out. "Okay, you caught me. But you have to admit you've been avoiding me."

"You mean today, on my wedding day. After you upset my sister with your obsession over my father's work. You've had weeks to reach out to me. My mother works for you, you see her every day. But you waited till today. A day when you believed you would have leverage on me."

The President sits quietly eyeing Chuck. "I guess I'm lucky Sarah isn't here. I do seem to have a way of upsetting you."

"Your luck doesn't depend on Sarah's location. It's all about how she's treated. My guess is, she would be upset if she knew what's going on right now. So why don't we get past this part. I suppose you have a blacked-out SUV waiting to whisk me off to a black site."

Frank's eyebrow's go up, "Do you really think I would do that…on your wedding day, on any day?" He leans back, "Okay, I guess I had that coming. Is there someway we can past this unpleasantness and back to our friendship?"

Chuck smiles, "No, I don't think you would do that. Joyce would kick your ass. Sarah would finish off what's left. Then my team would rescue me."

Frank laughs, "And you say I have the power." He takes a deep breath. "I'm sorry, I keep forgetting who I'm dealing with. I'd also have to hire a food taster; Master Chief would not be happy with me either."

"Frank, what's so important that you would interrupt the happiest day of my life?"

Frank leans forward his elbows on his knees, his hands outstretched in front of him. "When you say it that way, it makes me realize what an ass I am. The only thing that would cause me to do that is national security. Chuck, it's my job, my obligation."

"Like I said Frank, you've had all kinds of time to reach out to me. You waited until you thought you had leverage. I don't see any need to waste your effort. Let's talk."

"Gretchen warned me not to get into a scuffle with you. Okay, you know what I want. I want the Intersect."

"That's easy, you have me. Have I failed you? When you needed me, was I there?"

"Damn, is it your intent to make me feel like more of an ass. Is that any way to treat a friend?"

"Hey, I was on my way to put on my tux, you pulled me in here. I don't have what you want. Because you are my friend and more, I'm going to be honest with you. If I had it, I wouldn't give it to you."

Frank leans back and puts his hand over his eyes, "I'm listening."

Chuck leans forward. "I take it you read the reports on Fulcrum, The Ring and Shaw. You know how destructive the desire for the technology is. Shaw was one step away from destroying democracy. He killed my father, almost killed Sarah and was about to kill me. My sister saved my ass." Chuck sits back. "I trust you Frank, I really do. If I didn't have Casey, you would be my father figure. The guy I would reach out to when I need guidance."

Frank shakes his head, "Jeez, you really know how to rub it in. Chuck, I feel the same way. But I have a job. I was entrusted to protect democracy. I can't let other countries get the intersect ahead of us. I don't have the luxury of letting my personal feelings block me from performing my duty."

Chuck nods his head. "I get that, let's say I had access to what you want, hypothetically. I do trust you. I know in my heart that you'll always do the right thing."

Frank smiles, "Thank you for that."

"Frank at the most you'll be the President for another six years. Two years from now, you have to run again. Who's going to be the next President? After you, who am I trusting with this tech? Hypothetically speaking if I had it. For all we know it could be some narcissistic blowhard who doesn't believe in the constitution. Someone who wants nothing except to grab as much power as he can. Someone willing to bend down to those who want to destroy democracy. I also want to be clear, who I am, what I can do, that knowledge leaves Washington with you and Diane."

"I get it, I hear what you're saying. You have my word; your secret is safe. It'll be your option who knows. You also know that the Chinese are trying to steal Ellie's work."

Chuck laughs, "The only thing Ellie's work will tell them is how to avoid headaches. As to the other countries that are trying to recreate the intersect… I've already released a virus that will continue to wipe any and all coding that's even close in nature. I'll be alerted if that happens. I'll pass that info on to my mom and Diane. I'll be updating that software on a regular basis. Maggie wasn't able to determine who did the wipe, but together we figured out how it was done. We were able to create a virus based on that."

Frank shakes his head and laughs. "I should have known. How about you call me directly. That way I know we'll talk now and again, no matter how busy we get. Joyce said that you and Sarah would never let me down. She was right. Sorry to delay you."

Chuck looks at his watch, "No delay, as a matter of fact I allotted another ten minutes to our talk. But I don't consider this topic to be our only connection. You're family."

The look on Frank's face is one of pure astonishment. "Allotted? As in you knew I would be bringing you in?"

"Well I was hoping for a friendlier invite, but yes. I know you to be a man of integrity. I knew you would do what you thought to be the right thing.

There is one final note I'd like to add. Talk to me, I'll always be straight with you. Mess with my family…" he shakes his head… "there aren't enough Secret Service agents to stop me.

Ellie's okay. You know she was with me when Shaw gunned our father down. I'm guessing she wouldn't mind a dance with the President in the way of an apology."

Frank sighs, "I am sorry, it was never my intent to upset her, or you. Any chance Joyce doesn't need to know about this conversation?"

Chuck stands up, "Why would you not want her to know that you asked me in to give us your good wishes. Isn't she cleared for that. I'm pretty sure she isn't cleared for the other discussion?"

They both stand up and Frank hugs Chuck. "I have no idea how other president's managed without Bartowskis in their corner, thanks. I'll be sure to apologize to Ellie."

The Lincoln bedroom

Sarah walks into the Lincoln bedroom where Gretchen and Zondra are waiting to help her get dressed and made up. "About time you got here, we need to get you ready."

Sarah lets out a deep sigh. "I know Z, I appreciate you being here." Suddenly Sarah throws her arms around Zondra and starts to sob.

Gretchen puts her arms around both of them. "What's up Sis?"

Sarah shakes her head, unable to talk. She starts to breathe in heaving breaths. "I love him so much. I can't believe this is happening for me."

The door opens and Ellie walks in. "Hi, need any help? Alex said she's sorry, but she's watching the kids, Morgan is helping Chuck." She sees Sarah and joins the hug. "Sarah, what's wrong?"

Sarah turns and throws her arms around Ellie. "Nothing is wrong. I'm so happy. Your brother is the best man in the world. I know we're already married. But this time it feels real because you're all here. My family is here. I have a family. I have friends. You three and Alex, are going to be the best aunts ever.

Ellie pulls back and looks into Sarah's eyes. "Okay little sister, time to have the talk."

Sarah looks at her puzzled. "Ellie, you know Chuck and I have… um… been together for a while."

Ellie laughs, "Not that talk, sit." Sarah sits down. Ellie sits near her and takes her hand. Gretchen and Zondra stand behind Sarah, listening intently. "Sarah, I love my brother, he's a wonderful man. He's gentle, caring and giving." Sarah nods. "He's also scared, he's terrified of losing you, and insecure in many other ways." Sarah opens her mouth to speak. "Let me finish. I know you love him and are committed to him. I know he loves you. I know you adore each other. I also know you're on a honeymoon that will end.

Things happen, scary shit happens, life hits hard sometimes. In those moments, when fear and anger rear their ugly heads, that's when you need to remember to breathe. You're two very different, independent people. You will have friction, that can make things heat up quickly. Then you'll throw gas on the fire in the form of kids.

I love Devon with all my heart, but there are times… let's just say there are times. When you make this commitment, as you said, in front of us, your family, make sure you mean it. Always remember that you chose this to be your life. Running isn't an option. You might also remember that as much as I love you, and I love you lots. If you hurt my brother…" Ellie smiles, she stands up, "Now Little Sister, give us a hug. Time to get you ready."

Sarah hugs Ellie hard, "Ellie, I hear you, loud and clear. When I get scared, lose my way, I know who to come to for good advice. Now help me clean up this mess I made on my face and get me dressed. My man is waiting for me. I don't want any hassle about my wedding dress or what's under it. It's what I want. It's my gift for Chuck."

The State Dining Room

While the wedding party is getting ready, the guests file out of the Rose Garden towards the East Garden Room. They file past a sign that reads, "Please check all recording devices. Professional videos will be made available." Pages check each person as they file out of the Garden. Anyone not on the list is escorted to an exit. More than one reporter tries to get through. Secret Service agents are on high alert at the entrance to the Dining room. All Id's are verified again, and everyone is wanded. It was all done when they entered the White House initially and as they entered the Rose Garden.

However, alertness goes up when alcohol is involved. The agents were instructed not to interfere with a good time but be ready, to offer assistance for anyone who overindulges. They also take cell phones and check them, offering a numbered ticket for later retrieval.

Master Chief Child has pulled out all the stops. While the wedding party prepares Waiters are circulating the dining room with appetizers. Veggie Pizza bites no olives, Miniature tamales and Burritos, Sizzling shrimp, Crab puffs, vegan Chinese dumplings with hoisin sauce , vegan mini eggrolls, pigs in a blanket, tiny cheeseburgers.

A buffet table is covered in cold favorites. Steamed shrimp and crab legs with cocktail sauce, Caviar, and toast points. Chicken Liver pate' with crackers, A lovely relish tray. Crudités with hummus, Ranch and French onion dips, and much more.

A waiter passes Casey with a plate of crab puffs. He grabs one and reflectively puts his finger to his ear. He mutters under his breath, "Damn you Bartowski."

Master Chief Dressed in a white jacket and checkered chef's pants. His hat stands tall giving away who he is. He speaks sharply to the Head waiter. "Keep an eye on things. Make sure there's plenty of food and watch the bar, keep it stocked. Especially the kiddie bar, plenty of juice boxes. I want them to feel special. These guests are very special to me. I hate to tell you what happens to the man who lets me down."

"I've got you covered Chef. I won't let you down Master Chief."

"Good man, I'll be in the kitchen prepping dinner. Yell if you need me." He walks off towards the kitchen checking things as he goes.

The guests are eating and chatting about Casey's ceremony. They're also discussing expectations for the wedding. It's not a large gathering but the energy level is high.

Special assistant to the President Matt Helm, enters the room and speaks loudly. "Excuse me folks." The noise level remains high. He waves his arms and Yells, "EXCUSE ME FOLKS." The chat dies down and the guests all look at him. "Thank you for your attention. The President has asked me to invite you to join him in the chapel. The ceremony will begin shortly. Please follow me." He turns and heads out the door leading the crowd to the chapel.

The White House Chapel, Washington D.C.

Moving to the chapel the small group of friends and family fill the seats. The front row has been reserved for immediate family and members of the wedding party.

The president takes his place in front of the gathered group of family and friends. The White House Chapel is filled with the sound of people chatting. He holds his hands up and the crowd quiets. "Good afternoon, Let me tell you a little about my plans for our economy…" The crowd stares at him. He smiles and they break into laughter.

"What did you expect would happen when you put a microphone in front of a politician?" The crowd laughs. "However, This is not about me getting votes. I'll leave that task to the IRS." The crowd laughs again.

"Today we're here to celebrate the forever joining of two people that I love and respect. We all know that Chuck and Sarah are… shall we say… an unconventional couple. To that end, Sarah has asked to come down the aisle first. She says that Chuck has spent enough time waiting for her, it's her turn to wait. Chuck wisely chose not to argue with his wife." The crowd laughs. "However, he did choose the song that she will walk down the aisle to "Please rise and greet the bride."

General Beckman in full dress uniform, strides down the aisle. She walks to the front of the chapel does a sharp about face. In a commanding voice "Honor Guard Fall in."

She waits as Commo followed by the six-man echo team walk towards her, all in dress blues, Sidearms on their hips. To most people it's seen as part of the pageantry. Those in the know understand that they're part of the protection detail. They line up in front of her, and halt. "Honor Guard, assume your positions." Beckman turns to the right.

Alternating sailors turn left or right, take three paces to the chairs in front of them and halt. Facing the people in their seats. Beckman calls out, "Honor Guard, About face."

Making sharp turns on their heels the Honor guard turns to face each other.

The string quartet begins to play The Wedding March. The flower girls Clara and Molly walk down the aisle spreading Multi-colored rose and gardenia petals, preparing the way for the wedding party. Then they walk over to April sitting in the front row. She hugs them both, "Girls you look so beautiful, and you did such a good job."

The Best Man, Morgan, and the Matrons of Honor, Alex, and Ellie, walk down together. The ladies end their walk standing to the right of the President's position, Morgan to his left.

The ushers: Devon Woodcomb, Seely Booth, James Kirk and the brides, ladies in waiting; Mrs. Sawyer, Zondra and Gretchen enter the room side by side and walk to the front. They also bracket the President, ladies to the right, men to the left. facing the attendees.

Morgan Junior and Little John in their little tuxedo tee shirts, toddle down the aisle. They're carrying the rings, that Casey had made on the Ford, on pillows. Morgan takes the ring from MJ. Ellie takes the ring from LJ. April calls from the front row, "Come to me boys." The boys run over to her; she hugs them. "Good job boys." Clara and Molly engage the twins, helping them sit next to them. April watches as the girls look after their little cousins.

Sarah appears at the head of the aisle Casey and Emma on either side of her. The guests murmur about how beautiful Sarah is. There are many saying how handsome Casey is in his full-dress uniform, sword at his side.

Comments are made about how gorgeous Emma is; how her and Casey would make a lovely couple.

There are murmurs about how unconventional Sarah's gown is. A simple white cotton floor length robe design, pleated, with a cowl instead of a veil. Her face perfectly made up. Not a lot of makeup. Just enough to accent her natural beauty.

The cowl frames her face like a soft white halo. A belt around the waist cinches it in to show off her hourglass figure. It's reminiscent of Princess Leia's robe in Star Wars.

The music changes and a singer begins her song. Sarah smiles and Casey offers his arm. She takes it and they start to walk down the aisle towards The President. Emma holds her right hand.

Baby hair with a woman's eyes
I can feel you watching in the night
All alone with me and we're waiting for the sunlight

When I feel cold, you warm me
And when I feel I can't go on
You come and hold me
It's you and me forever

As they walk down the aisle Sarah hears the words Chuck has chosen for her to hear. Yes Baby, always I'll always be there to watch over you, to hold you, forever.

Sara, smile
Oh, won't you smile awhile for me, Sara

If you feel like leaving, you know you can go
But why don't you stay until tomorrow?
If you wanna be free
You know all you got to do is say so

I know I'm not your prisoner, you promised me I never would be. I promise you I'm not going anywhere. You're stuck with me forever and a day.

And when you feel cold, I'll warm you
And when you feel you can't go on
I'll come and hold you
It's you and me forever

Sarah begins to cry, I know it Chuck, I know you'll always be there to hold me.

Emma glances over and sees Sarah's tears. I can't believe how beautiful you've grown. How full of life. I owe Chuck so much; he rescued my daughter from a life of sadness.

Sara, smile
Oh, won't you smile awhile for me, Sara
Sara, smile
Oh, won't you smile awhile,

Sara Smile
Oh, won't you smile awhile for me, Sara
Oh, smile awhile
Won't you laugh, Sara
So thank you for making me, make me feel like a whole man
Not keeping me crazy, crazy
Smile awhile, oh

Sarah smiles wide as the tears run down her cheeks. My smile is yours forever. Whenever I look at you, think about you, when you hold me. I can't help but smile. You're the best man in the world; my Chuck.

Arriving in front of the President; Casey hugs Sarah and kisses her cheek. He whispers in her ear, "Thank you for this honor. Remember I'm not giving you away, just loaning you to him as long as he's good to you." Sarah smiles. He walks off to the side and stands near the string quartet. Unseen he picks up a microphone.

Emma hugs her, "I can't believe I have you back. I owe Chuck so much, he's a good man. You're so beautiful, my daughter. I'm so happy for you." Emma kisses Sarah then sits down in the front row next to April and the children. LJ jumps onto her lap.

Sarah is standing, nervously, in front of the President at the front of the chapel, filled with Family and friends. The President announces, "Sarah has chosen the song that Chuck will walk down to. It will be presented by a very special friend of the couple."

The music begins as Chuck arrives at the top of the aisle, Mary at his side. He looks around and smiles as he sees all of his family turning around waiting to watch him walk down the aisle.

He looks over at the Widescreen TV mounted to the side and sees that all of his online pals made it. Watching the private, live stream from their homes. Maggie did a great job setting the streaming video up, ensuring that it can't be recorded. They're all watching: Captainrick, tiggerhk, AwesomeCasey, Harakan, ParaDocs, ddbadger, fasteddie, Michael Broadhurst, Mpeter, BRJacket, Petemedina, Wilf21, Chuck fan 81, ReadernotAWriter, dnkgal, Richard76310, Katie Langville, Frank Suppa, Chainguns, Vsm440, grcommanderbat1, Lonny J, Frank Suppa, phathead01, Tim Tester, Doug Seeds, RDT50, Timber63, 2old2write, ChckvsFourSeven, CliffM, DennisAA, michael 1962, Wingdude, Joerg F, Bob J, .

It's too bad someone had to stay behind to run the company. Remington Steele, Eve Brooks, Laura Holt, and Maggie Mae wave at him from the screen. Momma, Poppa, and Jeffrey are watching too. He smiles and waves back. Looking at the screen again he does a double take when he spots Hartley, Vivian, and Mrs. Winterbottom waving at him. I'm so glad they're together.

His smile grows wider when he spots Mei-Ling Cohen and her family waving at him from their seats. Looks like Diane brought Roan Montgomery as her plus one. Wow, what a day.

The string quartet plays a few bars of a familiar song. The singer begins; "Da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da, Batmaaan!"

Half the group cracks up laughing including Sarah and The President. Chuck shakes his head, trying to hide his laughter. The other half look at the laughing people puzzled.

The singer stops and steps away from the microphone. After the first few instrumental notes a familiar voice begins to sing. Sarah, Chuck and the guests turn, shocked to see John Casey singing. Sarah picked the song, but she had no idea Casey would be singing it.

Now I've had the time of my life
No, I never felt like this before
Yes, I swear, it's the truth
And I owe it all to you

Chuck, still in shock, hearing Casey singing, starts down the aisle. Mary holds his hand tightly.

'Cause I've had the time of my life
And I owe it all to you

I've been waiting for so long
Now I've finally found someone to stand by me

Sarah looks at Chuck then at Casey with the mike in his hand, she wipes a tear from her cheek. I don't deserve this, I just don't.

We saw the writing on the wall
As we felt this magical fantasy

Now with passion in our eyes
There's no way we could disguise it secretly
So we take each other's hand
'Cause we seem to understand the urgency

Chuck walks down the aisle his legs trembling, How… how could I possibly have earned this, a life with this incredible woman? He turns briefly to Casey and smiles. Casey winks, nods, and continues singing.

Just remember
You're the one thing
I can't get enough of
So I'll tell you something
This could be love, because

I've had the time of my life
No, I never felt this way before
Yes, I swear, it's the truth
And I owe it all to you

Chuck is nearing Sarah. Oh my god, I don't know if I can keep standing. My knees are shaking. I love that man so much, this isn't real, it's a dream.

Hey, baby.

With my body and soul
I want you more than you'll ever know
So we'll just let it go
Don't be afraid to lose control, no
Yes, I know what's on your mind
When you say, "Stay with me tonight"

Just remember
You're the one thing
I can't get enough of

Chuck looks across the room into Sarah eyes and smiles. He looks to his right and winks at Beckman. She winks back and smiles.

So I'll tell you something
This could be love, because

I've had the time of my life
No, I never felt this way before
Yes, I swear (yes, I swear), it's the truth
And I owe it all to you

'Cause I've had the time of my life
And I've searched through every open door
'Til I found the truth
And I owe it all to you

Chuck and Mary finally arrive in front Of Sarah. Mary hugs him. "Charles, you be good to that woman. She's the best thing that ever happened to you."

Chuck smiles and kisses his mother's cheek. "I will Mom, I promise." Mary walks over to sit next to Emma in the front row. Clara gets on her lap.

Mary takes Emma's hand and squeezes it, "I love your daughter, my son is lucky to have her."

Emma squeezes her hand back and smiles. "We're both very lucky mothers-in-law."

Chuck steps up to stand opposite Sarah. Tears streaming from both of their eyes. Sarah puts her hand in back of Chuck's neck and pulls him in for a kiss. A long passionate kiss.

The president exclaims, "Whoa you two, we're not at that part yet."

The guests laugh, Casey continues to sing.

Sarah embarrassed, softly says, "Sorry, I couldn't help myself. Mr. President you need to hurry up, or this could get really embarrassing."

Frank whispers, "Shhh let the song finish, John has been practicing for weeks."

Now I've had the time of my life
No, I never felt this way before
Yes, I swear, it's the truth
And I owe it all to you

I've had the time of my life
No, I never felt this way before

Chuck and Sarah hold hands and stare into each other's eyes. Chuck mouths, "I love you."

Sarah sobs and mouths, "I love you, too."

Yes, I swear, it's the truth (it's the truth)
And I owe it all to you

'Cause I've had the time of my life
And I've searched through every open door
'Til I found the truth
And I owe it all to you...

The song ends and Morgan turns to Casey and starts clapping, "THAT'S MY DAD."

The assembled loved one stand and face Casey applauding, Including Sarah, Chuck, and Frank.

Casey waves his hands motioning everyone to sit down. The room quiets.

The President of the United States looks at Chuck and Sarah then out at the guests. "Thank you, Major General Casey, former choir boy and present-day hero, for a heartfelt song. Welcome everyone to the joining of two incredible people. Sarah Lisa Walker and Charles Irving Bartowski. I haven't known them long. However, I've known them long enough to realize that no greater love can be found between two people. Except of course, the love I have for The First Lady." The guests let out a collective "AWWWW", and Joyce blushes.

"At the risk of embarrassing Chuck, I want to relate a bit of our first meeting. I had just met them when Chuck threatened to kick my ass because I was being less than polite to Sarah." The group gasps. "Relax, I deserved it. Thank God, I have Secret Service protection." The crowd laughs.

"I'm not sure when it happened, it may have been that moment. But, at some point I grew to have an incredible respect for this man. It's no small thing that he was willing to be shot to protect the honor of the woman he loves. That respect grew into much more. I'm honored to call Chuck Bartowski my friend.

When I met Sarah, I was immediately in awe of her. I had heard so much about this brave, capable lady. I had pictured a rough and tumble woman. I had no idea she would be so lovely, so caring, and I might add, lots of fun. Joyce and I instantly wanted to know her better.

I might also mention that these two had the audacity to say no to the President of the United States." Chuck and Sarah both shrug. "I'm still wondering why I'm officiating at their wedding instead of visiting them in prison." Everyone laughs.

"They explained that their devotion to duty had kept them apart long enough. I not only understood, but I also applauded their commitment to each other.

Now, I have two great sons, so I can't say that Chuck is like the son I always wanted. I'm very proud of my boys and love them deeply. So, Chuck just gets to become a member of the family posse.

But Sarah… Joyce and I have no daughters, as such, we've chosen to claim you. My lovely wife has fretted for years that she wouldn't have a daughter to plan a wedding with. Our sons don't seem to be in a big rush to give us grandchildren." The crowd laughs.

"You gave her much joy sharing your special day with her, with us. Now the country has you to thank. Because of you, I'm forced to run for office again. I'll need the job to pay for this thing." The room breaks into laughter. "Sarah, you, and Chuck are family. Today and forever.

Sarah and Chuck have chosen to say their vows to each other in a vain attempt to keep me from making a long-winded speech. It may be the first time they've failed at a mission." The room breaks into laughter. "Sarah, whenever you're ready, please."

Sarah takes Chuck's hand in hers, "Oh God! There are no words that can tell you how I feel about you. My life has not been average. Through the years I've lived I've had so many adventures. Working with my father, my previous job, the many partners I've worked with. The places I've traveled to. All of them adventures. But the adventure I never had, not once; the adventure that comes with loving with a full heart, the adventure of having a home. That was… until I started the greatest adventure of my life. That began the day I met the most wonderful, smartest, bravest, most handsome man ever."

Sarah reaches up and wipes a tear from her eye. "Chuck, the day I met you my life truly began. The life I'd always wanted but thought I could never have. Chuck you are my home. I love you deeply, overwhelmingly, with every fiber of my being. Chuck you are more than the love of my life. You are my life. Charles Irving Bartowski will you be my home, today, tomorrow and for the rest of my life and beyond."

"I will." He wipes away a tear as Ellie hands Sarah the wedding band and she slips it on his finger.

Chuck starts to speak; it comes out as a croaking sound. He clears his throat and stares into Sarah's eyes. "In a galaxy far, far away lived a princess. She was by far the most beautiful, intelligent, brave woman in the entire universe. A woman who knew just how to fulfill a nerd's fantasy." Sarah smiles. "In another universe lived a man, nothing too special about him, other than he was wallowing in a pool self-pity.

One day there was a cosmic calamity and the two universes collided. It was an explosive collision. The clash released a deafening sound and a light so bright he was dazed, confused, scared. When his vision cleared, he was dazzled by the woman standing in front of him. Your glow eclipsed the sun itself. He had little hope that a celestial entity like you would want someone like him. Princess you were so far out of reach of a man like him, a simple nerd.

However, your beauty, your intelligence, your bravery filled his senses with something… something incredible. You asked him to trust you. You filled him with purpose. You protected him. You taught him that he could be brave, that he could be smart, that he had value. That he might someday be worthy of you.

He learned to trust you. He fought hard. He vanquished foes. Defeated obstacles. Confronted his personal demons. You always supported him while he remained true to his principles. Then one day, after many trials and tribulations, we knew that we were meant to be together.

Sarah Lisa Walker, You fulfill all of my fantasies. My heart swells at the sight of you. Your voice takes me to a place where dreams are born. Your eyes… your eyes take me to a place I never want to leave. Will you share a heart with me. Will you allow me to be your home? Will you allow me to dedicate my life to your happiness, your safety? Will you allow me to love you with everything I am? Please, may I be your hero." As Boris, "Vill you allow that I vill suck no other toes but yours, forever and a day?"

Sarah is weeping openly; She laughs through her tears. "I will." Morgan hands Chuck the ring, and he slides it onto Sarah's finger.

As Chuck slides the ring on her finger he looks into her eyes. "I love you."

She smiles. "I know." Chuck returns her smile.

Frank nods and smiles, "As President of the Unites States of America I am issuing an executive order." He reaches down to pick up and read a framed document.

"NOW, THEREFORE, I President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim this date, as a National Day of celebration. Be it known that on this day Sarah Lisa Walker and Charles Irving Bartowski are joined as one. The people assembled are encouraged to share in the love and lives of this wonderful couple. In addition, it is ordered that all present will support and encourage them. so long as they are together.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand this day the fifteenth, in this the month of April and in this year of two thousand and fifteen." He stops reading and sets the document down.

"This marriage can only be broken by another Executive Order. At which point one or both participants will be committed to an institution because they would be insane to destroy this wonderful union." The crowd laughs. As President of the United States, I now declare you to be husband and wife.

Now, You may kiss to seal this joining." The crowd laughs. Chuck takes Sarah in his arms, dips her, and kisses his wife. A huge cheer goes up.

Chuck takes Sarah by the hand and as they head up the aisle to the sound of applause Casey begins to sing.

Birds flying high
You know how I feel
Sun in the sky
You know how I feel
Breeze driftin' on by
You know how I feel

It's a new dawn
It's a new day
It's a new life
For me
And I'm feeling good
I'm feeling good

Fish in the sea
You know how I feel
River running free
You know how I feel
Blossom on a tree
You know how I feel

It's a new dawn
It's a new day
It's a new life
For me
And I'm feeling good

Dragonfly out in the sun, you know what I mean, don't you know
Butterflies all havin' fun, you know what I mean
Sleep in peace when day is done, that's what I mean
And this old world is a new world
And a bold world
For me
For me

Stars when you shine
You know how I feel
Scent of the pine
You know how I feel
Oh, freedom is mine
And I know how I feel

It's a new dawn
It's a new day
It's a new life

It's a new dawn
It's a new day
It's a new life
It's a new dawn
It's a new day
It's a new life
It's a new life
For us

And we're feeling good
we're feeling good
We feel so good
We feel so good.

Chuck and Sarah turn, she throws Casey a kiss as they run out of the room. He smiles. Secret Service agents are waiting to escort them to the Lincoln Bedroom.

The Lincoln Bedroom

The pair feel as if they're floating on air. When they arrive, the door closes leaving them alone. Sarah whirls around. She pulls Chuck in for a kiss that's filled with passion and love. She stops kissing him and still holding his head in her hands. "I love you, Chuck Bartowski. I love everything about you. I love how you love me, how you love others. Most of all I love how you make me love. Your vows to me were the most beautiful words I've ever heard. Now, it's time for your wedding present."

Sarah steps back and slowly unbuttons her gown from the bottom up, When she reaches the top button, she reaches up and pulls the hood down. Then gripping the two sides of the collar she slowly opens the gown.

Chuck gasps as he takes in the sight before him. Sarah is wearing a half cup bra, garter belt, stockings, and stiletto heels, all white, nothing else. "Chuck did you bring protection?" Chuck nods. "Good husband, now throw it away, we won't be needing that anymore. It's time for you to give me my wedding present."

Sarah slowly steps up to her husband. She kisses him as she peels off his tuxedo jacket. "Do you like your present Baby?"

Chuck nods as he drops the jacket to the floor. "Best present ever."

"Which part do you like the best?" Chuck moans as Sarah slowly unbuttoning his shirt, kisses his chest with soft butterfly kisses. "What, Sweetheart, I couldn't hear you? Do you want me to stop?" She starts to lick his left nipple as her hands unbutton his pants with a nimbleness born from years of knife handling.

She moves to his right side as he groans "Uh, uh. Never, I never want you to stop."

"You know what I want for my wedding gift, don't you?"

Chuck puts his arms around her and holds her tight. He lifts her chin and bends his neck to kiss her. "Uh huh, you want to make John crazy by making another Bartowski."

Sarah laughs, "Only my husband would say it that way, but yeah."

Later

Chuck gets up and reaches for his clothes, "Hon, people are waiting for us. We really need to get out there."

Sarah is lying on the large bed, disheveled, her hair wild, splayed across the pillow. She puts her arms behind her head, clearly not in a rush. "Mmmm, I suppose. I just made love to my husband in the Lincoln Bedroom in the White House. Tell me Hon are we dreaming? Did I just marry the love of my life in front of our whole family and all our friends? Did some bad guys drug us and I'm having a wonderful dream?"

Chuck lies back down and takes her in his arms. "I don't care if we're dreaming. As long as we're doing it together."

Sarah rolls over and kisses him. "Don't worry about that tux, I brought something more comfortable for you to wear. I plan on dancing your gorgeous butt off. It's hanging in the closet."

Chuck gets up to open the closet and pulls out a hanging suit bag. He unzips it to reveal a Han Solo costume. He smiles. Sarah smiles back. "It's a toy gun, I've already cleared it with the Secret Service. Wait till you see what I'm wearing. How'd I do, did I get Hubby's fantasy right?"

Chuck drops the clothes on a chair and jumps on the bed taking Sarah in his arms. "Baby, you got my fantasy right on day one. All my fantasies are great as long as you're in them."

"Chuck, when we get back from our honeymoon, you're going to write a book called How to Say the Right thing to Your Wife, Every time. I'm going to publish it and make a fortune. Do you want to see what I'm wearing for the reception?"

Chuck gets up and offers his hand to help Sarah up. She stands up and jumps into his arms. "You know we could sneak out and head to our honeymoon right now."

"We could, but then we could never come back. Our family and friends would put a bounty on our heads. Plus I really want them all to see my first dance with my wife. We didn't get to do that at our first, first wedding. I picked the perfect song for our first dance. It tells our story. I hope you don't mind I picked a few songs that I believe have meaning to me, to us.

"Fine, I'll do it. Your taste in music has never disappointed me. But now you have to make love to me twice tonight." She walks to the closet and pulls out another suit bag.

"Damn Sarah why do you insist on punishing me that way." He grabs her, pulling her into his arms. "I was hoping for three times."

Sarah steps back and unzips the bag showing Chuck the sexy Princess Leia dress with a slit up to the hip. "Now, I think you're just bragging, but maybe this will help motivate you."

Chuck whistles, "Lady, you are playing with fire. I have the best wife ever. I don't know where we're going on our honeymoon, but I do know you're going to be too weak to walk." The couple clean up and get dressed.

Opening the door they find two Secret Service Agents waiting for them. One of the agents looks them over and smiles. "Congratulations. May the force be with you. The president asked us to escort you to the reception." He lifts his arm and talks into his sleeve. "Dynamic Duo on the move, ETA 3 minutes."

Your table settings are made up with gifts from many nations.

The utensils are gold alloy, gifts to the people of the United States from Mikhail Gorbachev.

Gardenia is a fragrant flower, producing one of the most beloved scents in the garden world. The centerpieces on your table come from the warm humid temperatures of our southern coastal states. They're Sarah's Favorite.

The roses were selected from the White House Rose Garden by the First Lady herself. She chose buds that haven't flowered yet. So that their color would highlight the white of the gardenias but would not compete with their scent.

The guests have all meandered into the dining room. They're milling around enjoying a drink. Some, greeting others they haven't had a chance to chat with yet. Echo team is making sure that Zondra, Gretchen, and Julie are well protected and attended to. Everyone is raving about the ceremony and Chuck and Sarah's vows. Casey's singing is a popular topic of discussion.

Casey looks at his watch. "Grimes where the hell is your nerd twin, go find him. These people are hungry and damn it I've got a Costa Gravas cigar, and I can't smoke the damn thing in here."

Alex pats him on the shoulder, "Dad, relax. Morgan needs to help me keep an eye on the twins and Sarah is probably giving Chuck his wedding present." She gives Casey a wink and a knowing smile. Casey looks at her and grunts. "UGH!"

As if on cue, Adam, the wedding singer steps up to the microphone. "Ladies and gentlemen, I've just been told that our guests of honor will be here momentarily." He looks at the double doors and a page waves. "Ladies and gentlemen, Allow me to introduce, Charles and Sarah Bartowski."

The doors open and Chuck and Sarah walk in dressed as Han Solo and Princess Leia. Everyone applauds as they enter. Morgan cries out. "May the force be with you." Soon everyone is yelling it out.

Chuck waves to the yelling crowd and escorts Sarah to the dance floor. He turns and bows. "Mrs. Bartowski, may I have this dance."

Sarah curtseys, "It would be my pleasure Mr. Bartowski." Chuck takes Sarah in his arms and the music starts.

Chuck leads and Sarah follows. He whispers in her ear. "Listen to the words Baby, it's about us." Sarah nods, her head is on his shoulder

Isn't life strange?
A turn of the page
Can read like before
Can we ask for more?
Each day passes by
How hard man will try?
The sea will not wait
You know it makes me want to cry, cry, cry

Wished I could be in your heart
To be one with your love
Wished I could be in your eyes
Looking back, there you were and here we are

Chuck steps back taking Sarah's hand in his he twirls her around. Her skirt flairs out revealing her well-formed legs ending in the white boots with stiletto heels. He draws her back in and stares into her eyes. "I'm the luckiest man in this or any other galaxy." Sarah sighs and lays her head on his chest.

Isn't love strange?
A word we arrange
With no thought or care
Maker of despair
Each breath that we breathe
With love we must weave
To make us as one
You know it makes me want to cry, cry, cry

Wished I could be in your heart
To be one with your love
Wished I could be in your eyes
Looking back, there you were and here we are

Chuck holds Sarah close. As they sway to the music Sarah looks up and catches Chuck's eyes with hers. "Baby, I'm going to spend the rest of my life appreciating you. Our heart is finally whole. The only crying you'll be doing because of me, are tears of joy, I promise. Chuck… thank you for loving me."

Isn't life strange?
A turn of the page
A book without light
Unless with love we write
To throw it away
To lose just a day
The quicksand of time
You know it makes me want to cry, cry, cry

Slowly others come on to the dance floor. Molly and Clara are dancing with the twins. Morgan takes Alex in his arms and holds her close. "Alex Grimes, I love you. You changed my life. You took an immature man-child and made me into a husband and father."

Alex squeezes him tight. "Morgan, you did that. I just gave you the opportunity. I married you because you're a good man. I had your children because I knew you would be a good and loving father. You have never disappointed me or the boys. The truth is you taught me how to play. I'm glad that all that spy nonsense is over. I've never had one day of regret since our wedding day."

Wished I could be in your heart
To be one with your love
Wished I could be in your eyes
Looking back, there you were

Wished I could be in your heart
To be one with your love
Wished I could be in your eyes
Looking back, there you were

Wished I could be in your heart
To be one with your love
Wished I could be in your eyes

An older couple talks as they dance across the floor. A very dapper Roan Montgomery speaks to the short woman dressed in a military uniform. "Diane Beckman, we've waited long enough. Marry me."

"Roan Montgomery, are you insane? You know I work for The President. I have no idea where my duties will take me."

Roan thinks a moment. "That's true, but I still have my clearance. I'm going to retire, and where you go, I go. General Beckman, I love you, marry me."

"Roan, are you sure it's not the wedding and champagne talking?"

"Damn it Diane, Marry me."

Beckman looks up at the man who stands more than a full head taller than her and smiles. "Okay but keep it to yourself. This is Chuck and Sarah's day. I'm not going to steal their moment."

Roan bends his head and kisses his fiancé. "Deal, I don't care who knows. As long as it happens soon." Beckman rests her head against his chest as they continue their dance.

The music picks up with a faster tempo. Two backup singers join the wedding singer.

As Chuck twirls Sarah around the floor he sings to her.

"Makes me feel good
Now I can see
It takes more than one to give
The life we need

I can't think why (Can't think why I never thought)
I never thought of this before (Of this before; Now I know)
Now I know what it means to me (What it means to me)
To share (To share, share all my love)
To share my love (To share, share all my love with you)"

Sarah throws her head back laughing and shouts. "I love this man."

She pulls herself in close to her husband. "Baby, I never knew how much music would mean to me. Another gift you've give me."

Chuck smiles as he takes Sarah's hand and twirls her.

He feels a tap on his shoulder. "Step aside nerd, the Marines have landed."

Chuck pops Tall and mock salutes. "Aye, aye General. She's all yours… temporarily."

Casey nods and grunts, "Don't worry Boss, you won't be lonely." Casey points to a line of ladies waiting to dance with Chuck. Mary Bartowski is first up.

Chuck hugs her and he smiles as he feels her tighten up, not used to the intimacy. "Glad you made it Mom."

"Chuck, I've missed enough of your life. Job or no job, I'm your mother. I'm glad you found Sarah. She's a wonderful woman and perfect for you. I'm very glad you made a change in your life. No mother could be prouder than I am of you and Eleanor." There's a tap on Mary's shoulder.

Emma smiles, "Mind if I share our son?"

"You know New Bartowski, before Alex came into my life…" he grunts.

Sarah hugs him hard. "I love you too John. I appreciate that Alex is willing to share her dad with me. Relax, you don't have to talk, we can just dance. However, you do know we expect a toast later." Casey growls.

An authoritative voice barks from behind Casey. "Major General Casey… Atten hut." Casey pops tall.

Frank takes Sarah in his arms. "Nice to know there's still someone who can't say no to me. You're dismissed General." Casey smiles, does a short bow towards Sarah, and walks away.

Now that I know (Can't think why I never thought)
I found the answer for myself (Of this before; Now I know)
What a day it would be for me (What it means to me)
To share (To share, share all my love)
To share your love (To share, share all my love with you)

I can't think why (Can't think why I never thought)
I never thought of this before (Of this before; Now I know)

"Tell me Sarah, are you happy?"

Sarah gives him a big smile. "I'll will tell you Frank. I can't think of a time I was happier. Thank you for this beautiful wedding, and your masterful officiating. You got my vote."

Frank laughs as he dips Sarah. "I'm glad to hear that. I guess I can tell Joyce she won't need that divorce attorney." Sarah laughs as he pulls her up. "That Chuck is a lucky man to have landed you, beautiful, intelligent and a great dancer. He's to be envied, even if he did threaten to kick my ass again."

Sarah stops dancing and looks Frank in the eye. "When, what happened? Was it about Ellie?"

Frank starts dancing again. "Mmmm hmmm, about an hour ago. He reminded me that messing with his family may not work out well for me. Sarah, I'm not a politician all the time. I'm just a man. I make mistakes. Joyce and I love you, both of you. I hope you'll keep us in your lives."

Sarah stretches up and kisses his cheek, "You're being silly. You can count on it. We're gonna need a onesie that says my other Grandpa is the President."

Frank scowls, "Grandpa? You meant to say uncle, right?"

Sarah laughs, "Oh yeah, my mistake."

There's a tap on Frank's shoulder, "Excuse me Mr. President, it's the Best Man's turn."

"Mr. Grimes I will gladly step aside for a hero. Thank you, Mrs. Bartowski, for a splendid dance. I believe I'll seek out your sister-in-law. Seems I owe her an apology."

Morgan takes Sarah in his arms. "Sarah, you make an absolutely gorgeous Princess Leia. I mean you're no Lt. Uhura. But I know you made my buddy happy."

Sarah laughs, "I understand you met our friend Jim Kirk. Was it good for you?"

Morgan sighs, It was the best. He's a really good guy. I mean I know he's not really Captain Kirk. But still… don't tell Alex I said it, but it's still the best wedding story ever. I'm not sure it's fair that you guys got two fantasy weddings…but I'm really happy for you. Not many people know this, but even though he was only a little older than me, Chuck was my dad, when I didn't have one."

Sarah smiles and hugs him. " Maybe we can put something together for your tenth anniversary. Morgan, I owe you big time. You've been there for my Chuck, forever. You died to save us. We're very fortunate to have you in our lives. I can't wait for you and the twins to watch Star Wars with our kids."

Morgan puts on a Yoda voice. "Soon My pleasure it will be, to teach Klingon to young Bartowski padawans."

Sarah laughs, "You know I have no idea what you just said. But I'm guessing Chuck would know."

Now I know what it means to me (What it means to me)
To share (To share, share all my love)
To share my love (To share, share all my love with you)

Now that I know (Can't think why I never thought)
I found the answer for myself (Of this before; Now I know)
What a day it would be for me (What it means to me)
To share (To share, share all my love)

Chuck dances his Mother-in-law across the floor. He dips her and twirls her. He pulls her in close to him. Emma is breathing hard, "Oh my! I wasn't expecting Fred Astaire. Lord knows I'm no Ginger Rogers."

Chuck smiles as he dances, "Yeah, but Ginger Rogers never made a woman like our Sarah."

Emma smiles, "Thank you Chuck. You're Mom does good work as well. Sarah tells me you're going to be disappearing for your honeymoon. Please be careful, there are a lot of dangerous places. You're Charles Bartowski, not Charles Townsend you know, no Angels to look out for you."

Chuck smiles a knowing smile. "I'll be careful Mom. I wouldn't let us get into a situation where Sarah could get hurt."

To share your love (To share, share all my love with you)

Now I know why (Can't think why I never thought)
I found the answer for myself (Of this before; Now I know)
What a day it would be for me (What it means to me)

"Dr. Woodcomb I wonder if I might have the pleasure of this dance."

Ellie gives Frank the stink eye. "I promise I'll be good. I merely want to apologize for my previous boorish behavior."

Devon speaks softly, "Go on Babe, give him a thrill."

Ellie puts her arms out and Frank takes her in a respectful dance hold. "I am sorry Ellie; I would never want to hurt you. Everything I said about your research is true. I admire your work. I respect you. I promise I will never pressure you again. Your brother made sure I knew how displeased he was."

"It's okay Frank, you're forgiven. Chuck explained where you were coming from. I know you weren't trying to upset me. I'm honored that the president read my papers and found them interesting. Perhaps at some point in the future we can discuss cerebral health in our country."

"I'd like that, let me know when you're ready."

To share (To share, share all my love)
To share your love (To share, share all my love with you)

Makes me feel good
(To share, share my love)
(To share, share my love) I found the answer for myself

Casey spins Julie across the floor. He feels a tap on his shoulder. "Forgetting someone Marine?" Zondra puts her arms out and the three of them dance the floor. "Rizzo, you, and Julie are perhaps the most unforgettable women I know. Except for maybe one other." He sighs. "But I see no need to dwell on fantasies when I have two dreams in my arms. I'll see you ladies in my room later. I'd better dance with General Beckman. Protocol and all." Julie and Zondra continue the dance together.

(To share, share my love)
(To share, share my love)
(To share, share my love)
(To share, share my love)
(To share, share my love)
(To share, share my love)
(To share, share my love)
(To share, share my love)

The song ends and Chuck thanks Emma. He walks over and speaks quietly to Adam. Adam nods and turns to give instructions to his band. Their name, The Sandlers, is written across the bass drum. Chuck strolls over to Ellie. "Hey Frank mind if I steal my sister?"

"She's all yours Chuck, thank you Ellie, for the dance and the forgiveness." He steps away.

"Hi Sis, how ya doing?"

Ellie smiles, "I'm okay Little brother, no need to worry, Frank apologized."

Chuck puts on a big toothy grin, "What, me worry? You must be mad." The band plays a couple of notes. "I came to ask my special girl for a dance. May I have the pleasure." He bows and extends his hand.

Ellie takes his hand, "The pleasure would be all mine, handsome sir." The music starts in earnest and Chuck takes Ellie in his arms. He moves her onto the dance floor as the singer starts his song.

I've got sunshine on a cloudy day
When it's cold outside
I've got the month of May
I guess you'd say
What can make me feel this way

My girl, my girl, my girl
Talkin' 'bout my girl
My girl

"Oh Chuck, this song should be for Sarah, She's your special girl now."

"Uh, uh Sis You'll always be my special girl"

I've got so much honey
The bees envy me
I've got a sweeter song
Than the birds in the trees
Well, I guess you'd say
What can make me feel this way

My girl, my girl, my girl
Talkin' 'bout my girl
My girl
Ohh ohh
Hey hey hey

Hey hey hey
Oh yeah

Sarah steps up and joins the two dancing. "Ellie, I owe you a debt I can never repay. You raised the most marvelous man in the world. You're my special girl too"

Ellie starts to cry, "Here I was, jealous of you. I was worried that I was losing my little brother, instead I got a wonderful little sister."

Clara steps onto the dance floor and tugs on Chuck's pants. He scoops her up to join the group. "I thought I was your girl Uncle Chuck."

Chuck kisses her cheek, "Absolutely Clara Doll. Your Uncle Chuck is a very lucky man. He has lots of special girls. But you're my only special niece." The foursome continues to dance to the music.

I don't need no money, fortune, or fame
I've got all the riches baby one man can claim
Well I guess you'd say
What can make me feel this way

My girl, my girl, my girl

Emma walks up with Molly. "Hey, don't forget us Big Brother. You told me I was your girl."

Chuck laughs, "For sure, you're my special little sister."

Zondra , Gretchen, Joyce, and Mary push their way in. Suddenly a chair appears, and Chuck is pushed into it. The women in his life form a circle around him and keep dancing. The singer stops singing and the women pick up the song.

I've got sunshine on a cloudy day
When it's cold outside
I've got the month of May
I guess you'd say
What can make me feel this way

My guy, my guy, my guy
Talkin' 'bout my special guy
My guy

Chuck's face turns beet red as they dance around him singing. He reaches out and pulls Sarah into his lap. "This is so embarrassing."

Sarah smiles and puts her hand on his cheek. "It's just our way of saying thank you for loving us and everything you've done for us." Sarah joins the singing.

The wedding singer looks at the circle and signals to his band. He speaks into the microphone. "All right gentlemen, let's get up on the dance floor, it's time to join the ladies for the Hora." The band breaks into Hāvā Nāgīlā, (it means, Let us rejoice. It's a Jewish folk song. Traditionally sung at celebrations, such as weddings.) Everyone dances in a big circle around the newlyweds.

Sarah laughs, "This is what happens when you hire a Jewish wedding singer."

He shrugs, "Momma recommended him." Chuck's eyes go wide, "Was that John who just danced past us?"

Sarah looks over his shoulder, "Holy cow, it sure was." The two of them crack up laughing. "Who would have imagined? He's full of surprises. You know Hon, he would never have done any of this, the singing, the dancing… until he was Bartowskied."

"Bartowskied? So I'm a verb now."

Sarah laughs. "I guess so, but you're still my special guy, my Chuck."

Chuck whispers something in Sarah's ear she nods, and they both get up. The walk to the large circle of people surrounding them. Chuck pulls Joyce out and Sarah gets Frank. The four of them dance in a smaller circle inside the larger one. Sarah speaks loudly to be heard over the music. "Joyce, I want to tell you how beautiful our wedding is. The tables are splendid. I love my flowers. You've planned and executed the perfect mission. Thank you so much."

Chuck adds, "Truly folks. I'm overwhelmed by what you've done for us. It's incredibly gorgeous."

Sarah leans in, "Your husband wants to be Uncle Frank, Does Aunt Joyce work for you?"

Joyce gives Frank a cross look. "Hell no, I'm Grandma Joyce, He's Grandpa Frank. Or he can be Uncle who sleeps on the couch. His choice."

They all laugh. Frank shakes his head. "Seems like the Commander-in-Chief's chief, has made our decision."

Chuck puts all of them in for a hug while still dancing. "I don't care what our kids call you as long as they get to hug you."

The music stops and the singer announces. "Ladies and Gentlemen, dinner is served."

Finally sitting down to eat Chuck picks up the menu and shows it to Sarah. He's acting very proud as he puts it in front of her. "Check that out, there it is."

Sarah looks at the menu then stares at him quizzically. "Yes Hon, it's a very nice menu. Julian really put it all out there for us. I think I'll have the steak, how about you?"

"Sarah, I helped Julian with this menu."

She takes a sip of wine, "Yes Sweetheart, I already said it's very nice. Why don't you have the chicken, so we can taste both?"

"Sarah, don't you get it. I finally did it. I picked a font, I have a plan. All it took was marrying the best woman in the world."

"Thank you, Chuck. It's very nice, I'm glad I could help. Now can we eat, I'm starving."

Dejected Chuck slumps in his chair and mumbles "But I picked a font." Sarah orders a steak for her and the Coq au Vin for him.

Sarah cuts bits of the steak and feeds Chuck. The assembled loved ones, who notice, laugh. Chuck feeds Sarah the chicken. "Um Sarah these meals are delish. Those potatoes are like from your hometown."

Sarah stares, "My hometown? I'm not from North Dakota."

Chuck shakes his head as he feeds her a piece of potato. "Uh, uh, I meant your real hometown, Heaven. After all you are an angel."

Sarah smiles, "I didn't realize the steak came with cheese." Chuck laughs.

Sarah stands up and taps her glass to get everyone's attention. "I hope everyone is enjoying their meal. Frank, Joyce would you please stand up. For those who slept through the ceremony, the people standing right now are, our friends, the President, and First Lady of the United States. In case you thought this feast was at taxpayer expense, you're wrong. This magnificent affair was a wedding present from the first couple. Thank you" Sarah applauds, the rest of the party joins her.

They wave in acknowledgement and start to sit. Sarah stops them. "Don't you dare sit. I'm not done with you yet." The crowd laughs. "OOOOHHH, it's fun ordering the leader of the free world around. Joyce I can see why you're always so happy." Everyone laughs.

With the support and input of, please stand when I call your name, my Matrons of honor, Ellie, and Alex. Also my ladies in waiting Beatrice, Gretchen, and Zondra. The First Lady created and orchestrated this incredibly gorgeous affair. The President himself created the ceremony and, much to our surprise, got our good friend John Casey to sing for us."

Chuck stands and hold his glass up. "A toast to the people in our lives who came together to celebrate this special moment with us. We love you all, even Casey." Casey grunts as everyone raises their glasses to the toast. Someone starts tapping their glass. Sarah dips Chuck and kisses him hard while everyone claps and cheers.

Chuck stands up, "Whoa, that's what I call a kiss. But wait we're not done yet. "He looks around, "Where is he?"

Sarah smiles, "Where do you think he is? John, please have Julian join us."

Casey stands up and in a loud bellowing voice, "Master Chief Child, front and center."

The word is passed from waiter to waiter until the kitchen door swings open, and a flustered Julian enters the room. "What? I have a cake to decorate."

Casey gives him a shocked look. "Echo team, detain that man for insubordination, that's no way to talk to a General."

Echo team surrounds a shocked Julian and drags him to the center of the room. Casey eyes him up and down. "In the absence of a mast, hoist him on your shoulders." Julian looks freaked out as he's lifted and held in place on the shoulders of six strong Seals.

"Mr. President, I present to you the perpetrator. A Master Chief who created a masterpiece of culinary art, that could only be accomplished by a master chef. Then as witnessed by this room filled with people stuffed to the gills with those delicious foods, he did in fact, act in a disrespectful manner to a superior officer."

Frank walks around to stand next to Casey. "He rubs his chin in thought. Suddenly he looks up. "There is only one punishment that fits this crime. This man will be forced to endure… I'm hesitant to be so cruel to a man I respect so much. Here is your punishment. You will hear the cheers of those who appreciate your skills." He yells, "Hip, hip, Hooray." He raises his hands and starts to clap. As the rest of the guests join in the cheer, filling the room with the sounds of joy and thanks. Echo team tosses him in the air, then catching him. Up and down, up, and down.

Sarah whispers something in Chuck's ear, he smiles and nods. She walks over to stand next to Casey and Frank. Chuck raises his hands. The crowd quiets. "People. I'm sorry, it would seem that my lovely bride has decided that Master Chief Child has not yet suffered enough. She will be adding an additional punishment of her own design. Gentlemen please return the prisoner to the floor for his last bit of penance."

The Seal team lowers Julian to the floor. Sarah takes his face in her hands and kisses him. His eyes go wide, and his hands fly out to the sides in surprise. She hugs him, then releases him and sharply says. "Let that be a lesson to you." The guests all laugh.

Chuck raises his hands again to quiet everyone, "Does the condemned man have anything to say before he's banished to the galley?"

Julian looks around at the people in the room. "Someone get me a glass." A glass of wine is pushed into his hand. "I wish I could tell you all; what Chuck, Sarah, and I can't leave General Casey out, mean to me. But I have an aversion to being shot at dawn.

This has been a labor of love for me. Thank you for appreciating my effort. A toast to two of the best people I know. May your marriage and lives be filled with fair seas and following winds." He raises his glass to the newlyweds and takes a sip.

"Now, I willingly accept my exile to the galley, where I will be putting the finishing touches on the wedding cake. A design chosen by the bride herself. I'm hoping you'll enjoy it as much as you enjoyed your meal. If you do, I will submit myself for further punishment by Mrs. Bartowski, and any other ladies who feel I deserve it." The crowd laughs and Sarah kisses him again. "Julian, Thank you. You've been wonderful to us." Master Chief waves to the guests and heads off to the galley.

The Toasts

Morgan, Alex, and the twins

Morgan stands up, holding MJ, "As the Best Man it's my duty to offer the first toast to the bride and groom. Chuck Bartowski was, and is, the best friend a boy or man could have. He worked hard to keep me out of trouble. I worked harder to get into trouble, but he was always there to pull me out.

When Sarah came into our lives, I thought; for sure she was going to play Yoko and break up Han and Chewie. Little did I know she would be The Princess Leia that would cement the team together. They're Auntie and Uncle to my boys, Brother and sister to me and my wife. And to our never-ending amusement, an ongoing source of irritation to our dad." Casey grunts and the guests laugh. Morgan raises his glass. "To Mr. and Mrs. Bartowski, May the Force be with you The guests respond, "May the Force be with you."

Alex stands with LJ on her arm and raises her glass, "It's hard to add to what Morgan has said. Chuck, Sarah, you are, without any question, the best brother and sister an only child could have. I love you both with all my heart. MJ, LJ, do you love Uncle Chuck and Auntie Sarah?" Both boys wiggle to get down.

Once on the floor they run to Chuck and Sarah and climb in their laps. They hug them and kiss them. Then sit on their laps, and in unison say, "Yes Mommy."

Alex smiles, "nuff said." Tears run down the Bartowskis cheeks as they hug their nephews.

Casey

Casey stands and turns to face the guests. He nods his head and grunts. First let me thank you all for being there for me this morning. Mr. President thank you for the recognition. It's been my privilege to serve under you.

Now on to the guests of honor.

In my time I've served with many brave, intelligent, men of honor." He turns to face the groom. "With no reservation I can say, when I met this man, Chuck Bartowski, he was the biggest pain in the ass I'd ever met." The room breaks into laughter.

"Bartowski, is the only man I've ever met who made hemorrhoids seem like fun." The guests laugh harder.

"Then Walker got in the mix, I'll bet you think I was going to say she made him easier to deal with. Wrong! She was as a big a pain as he was." More laughter.

"But something happened over time, they made each other better, hell they made me better. Thanks to them I have my daughter back. The second biggest pain became my son." More laughter. "I should mention that he's grown on me. Now I have the two finest future marines as grandsons." Alex gives him a dirty look. "Seems that my daughter might not agree with that prediction. But, Hey, a leatherneck can dream.

Now to the newlyweds. I work with the finest people I know. They're two of my three partners. I know they have my back, and the backs of the ones I love. They are, without question, the bravest individuals I've ever met. Both of them are people of honor and integrity. The two traits I admire most in people. No one, especially New Bartowski, would argue with me when I say, he's the most intelligent person I know. I work with two people I respect, and I'm proud to call one Boss. May your marriage be filled with joy. To The Boss and Chuck, Semper Fidelis." He raises his glass. The guests cheer "Semper Fidelis."

Chuck's eyes go wide, then a huge smile appears on his face as he shakes his head. Sarah cracks up laughing with the other members of CI.

Beckman

Diane Beckman stands up. All I'm going to add is that General Casey was right. Except, they're both still pains in my ass." She pauses to wait for the laughter to subside. "But I also have to add that they're my favorite pains. Nobody deserves happiness more than you two. Congratulations, please lose my number." The guests laugh.

Mrs. Sawyer

Mrs. Sawyer stands up. "I have to agree with Mr. Casey. Working at CI has been an honor and a privilege. It's gotten much better since we got a boss who isn't an old sourpuss. Sarah, you saved that man's life. In the years before you came back, I never saw one smile, not one. Now he walks around like he's floating on air with a gorgeous twinkle in his eye. To Mr. and Mrs. Bartowski, may your lives be long, filled with happiness and lots of little Bartowski's who call me Grandma Bea.

The crowd cheers, "To Chuck and Sarah and little Bartowskis."

Casey gasps, "Oh God, there's going to be more of them."

Gretchen

"Gretchen stands up, that's right Johnny, I'm gonna be Aunt Gretchen to lots and lots of little Bartowski's. So suck it up marine. Sarah what can I say about the best partner a girl could have. I'll just say; you're the best. Chuck, Boss, you gave me the most loving, caring, ass kicking a girl could have. You saved me. Thank you. I wish you both all the happiness that you can handle and a spoonful more. I love you both. Congratulations."

The guests raise their glasses and yell, "Congratulations."

Zondra

"Aunt Z here. For the record he kicked my ass too. Don't get uptight, I had it coming, I took the first swing. But he was kind to me, he never laid a hand on me. Of course he never let me lay a hand on him either.

Straight truth, when I first met that guy, I hated him with every fiber of my being. Now, I can't think of anyone else I would want my best friend married to. She deserves only the best, and she got him. Sarah, make sure you leave him to me in your will." The guests laugh. "I love you both. Please, take care of each other." She raises her glass. "Whatever path you choose going forward, I will always have your backs. To only good things on your path." The guests respond, "To only good things."

Jim Kirk

"My apologies Sir for speaking the truth. Just so everyone knows. I beat out the President, I married them first. So, I've already had my say on this subject." He raises his glass. "You're both superheroes in my book. Once again, with all my heart, live long and prosper." The guests echo his toast.

Seeley Booth

What do you say to two people who demand your respect without asking for it. In my previous job I was surrounded by the bravest people on earth. In this room I'm surrounded by the best of them. These two outshine them by miles. Chuck I'm glad you didn't have to kick my ass. Sarah, I'm glad I didn't have to shoot you." Chuck, Sarah, Casey, Jim Kirk, and Echo team crack up laughing. "To the Colonel and the Blonde Terror. I wish you long happy lives. Always remember if you ever need us, Echo Team has your back." The military members in the room yell out "HOO RAH."

Frank and Joyce

Frank stands up, his glass raised. "I've had my say. I'm going to let Joyce speak for us now. I know, shocking, a politician who admits he's said enough." The guests laugh. "To two of the finest people I know. May you have long, happy, healthy lives."

Joyce stands and kisses Frank on his cheek. "Thank you, Sweetheart. My husband may joke about his ability to talk incessantly, without end, going on and on… OY! Okay he's not joking." Frank shakes his head and smiles as the guests laugh.

"I need to be very clear, there is no joking about these two young people. He was dead on when he said they're two fine people. I don't know half of what these two have accomplished, that's above my clearance. What I am quite clear on is their effect on my family. Since they entered our lives, my family has grown closer, more open, more loving. You may ask me how they accomplished that… the answer is I don't know. It just happened.

Emma, we have to thank you for this wonderful woman that has entered our lives. I can't begin to tell you the joy I had in planning this wedding with her. When you entered the picture, I got to plan with you as well. That's when I learned where she got her sweet, thoughtful temperament from. I can't fail to mention Molly and Clara I'm not sure I've met sweeter more polite little girls. Clearly the women in the Bartowski clan are exceptional."

Chuck, you need to know, I've gotten to spend some time with your mother as well. Yet another Bartowski woman of accomplishment. I don't think I've met a woman prouder of her son and daughter.

What I want to tell you is about Sarah. Her focus was your happiness. Will Chuck like this or that? Will that make him happy? I want Chuck to be happy. You should all know Sarah wanted the theme for her wedding to be Star Wars, to please her man." The guests gasp. "It took a room full of women to walk her back. Well, half walk her back." The guests laugh.

"Sarah, you need to know that anytime Chuck was approached about the wedding his answer was always the same. Give Sarah whatever she wants, I want her to be happy. Pressing him was useless, all he wanted; was your happiness.

I finally got an answer when I kept pushing, but Chuck what will make you happy? When he answered, I'm not sure I've ever seen a smile that big in my life. He said, "I already have everything I want for my wedding; Sarah is my bride."

Emma, Mary, you are two very lucky women. Thank you for sharing that luck with us in the form of Chuck and Sarah. To the newlyweds, I don't have to wish you luck or happiness or love. I know you'll grant those things to each other. Instead I will ask that you stay in our lives. Keep sharing your love with us. Allow us to be there for you when you need us. Allow us to enjoy you when you don't. Let us be family." She raises her glass. "To family; family that happens, family found, and family created out of love." The guests echo "To family."

Mary

"I guess it's my turn. I wish I could take credit for my children's accomplishments. I can't. I wasn't around when they were growing up. I made the poor choice to allow my service to country be more important than my family. I won't make that same mistake with my grandchildren."

Clara yells out, "I love you, Mimi."

Mary lets loose with a heavy sigh and wipes away a tear. "Mimi loves you too Clara. I said I couldn't take credit. It doesn't mean I'm not proud as hell. Ellie, worked her way through med school to become a doctor, an expert in her field, to marry a wonderful man.

Chuck… what can I say. I wasn't there to take care of you, yet you're taking care of me. What a fine man you've become. A businessman, with wonderful loyal friends. I'm not embarrassed to mention one of them is my boss, The President.

Of all the things I'm proud of Chuck; I'm most pleased with your taste in women. You chose a wonderful partner for yourself. She's lovely, intelligent, brave, and caring. I'm so delighted with my two wonderful daughters, Ellie, and Sarah. I want to crow." She raises her glass. "I may not have been there for you in the past. However you have my word that I will be there for you in the future. To our future as a family." The guests respond, "To the future."

Emma, Molly

Emma helps Molly to stand on a chair and holds her tightly. She holds up a paper cup covered in unicorns and fairies. "I love my big sister and she brought me the best big brother ever. Also the best cousins and aunts and uncles and grandmas and grandpa. I love you both." She raises her cup then takes a sip of juice as the guests cheer.

Emma hugs Molly and kisses her. "I'm not much for speaking, plus Molly said it all. Chuck, you have brought nothing but love to our family. I have no doubt that you love my daughter and will protect and care for her. To be honest I'm a little concerned about all these women you've beat up, but I'm assuming that's an inside joke."

"Thank you for inviting us into your family and allowing us to share your love." She raises her glass. "May your love bring you joy in the good times and sustain you through the rough times." The guests call out "To your love." Gretchen and Zondra rush over to reassure her as soon as she's done talking.

Ellie, Devon, Clara

Devon stands up. "Bro, things started out rough for you. By the time I met you, things were looking bleak. Sometimes getting you out of bed was a chore. That job you had… no wonder you were depressed. You were working with morons. No offense Morgan, there were some exceptions. Look at you now, A successful businessman with your own company. You have the second most beautiful woman in the world as your wife. Your sister is the first, of course.

With all that, you want to know the most important thing I know about you. You're the finest, most wonderful uncle. Clara adores you. It's not because you give her stuff, although you do spoil her. No, it's because she can see you. She knows that you're a loving caring man, who will always be there for her. She also knows you'll be a good dad for her future cousins.

But I gotta tell you Bro, the best move you ever made was picking that lady sitting next to you. Like I told that guy years ago; I'm a cardio-thoracic surgeon. I know what makes the heart pump. Sarah makes your heart pump strong. Looking forward to getting together in the gym." He raises his glass, "To strong hearts and long lives."

Clara yanks on Devon's pants, "Daddy help me up like Molly was." Devon picks Clara up and helps her stand on a chair, holding her for safety. "Daddy, how come so many people are saying nice things about Auntie Sarah and Uncle Chuck? Don't they already know how nice they are?"

Devon nods. "They know Sweetheart, but they want your aunt and uncle to know they know."

Clara nods, "OOOOHHH, okay. Auntie Sarah, Uncle Chuck, you're the best ever. I love you. Mommy said that you got married again so I can have new cousins. I love the cousins you already got for me. Molly is my best friend forever, and I love our tea parties with MJ and LJ. I love you lots, please come to my house soon for a tea party with Beauty." Sarah wipes a tear from her eye and squeezes Chuck's hand.

Ellie stands up and kisses Clara. "That was very beautiful Clara, Mommy is very proud of you. Let me help you sit down now. I don't want you to fall."

After helping Clara to sit, Ellie stands and stares at Chuck and Sarah. Moments pass… she shrugs and wipes tears from her cheeks. "What am I supposed to say? We had it rough as kids. I won't lie, I was worried about you. Things got better when you got your scholarship for Stanford. Then something awful happened. You were betrayed by your best friend. I know my brother; you would never cheat. Not only because you don't have to, but because you wouldn't.

I just recently learned more about how you two met. I gotta say you beat some hellacious odds. I also gotta say you beat them soundly. Emma, You don't have to worry. My brother would give up his life before he would harm Sarah or allow harm to come to her. Charles Irving Bartowski is the most loving, caring, gentle man I know. He loves with a great heart. I'm very proud of you little brother, you've become the man I always knew you would be.

Sarah, I have to give you credit. When you entered our lives, he was the man Devon described, sullen, depressed, he had given up on himself. Chuck said it in his vows. You taught him who he could be and stuck by him as he grew into it. Okay, I admit it. Our path has not always been smooth. I didn't like watching chuck in pain. Yes, I was jealous, you were taking my place as the person Chuck turned to." Ellie smiles, "You stuck by me too. You refused to give up on us. You showed me that you would protect my brother with everything you have. You even protected him from me."

Ellie raises her glass. "To the best brother and sister a woman could have. I love you both. May your lives and marriage be filled with love, happiness, and bliss."

Sarah

The guests sit quiet after Ellie's toast. Sarah stands, "Well I guess it's my turn. Whew, what am I supposed to say after all of that. Thank you all. I love how Alex said it; an only child couldn't have better sisters or brother. Casey, you have been so much to me, so very much. You all surrounded and supported me with so much love and caring. I had no idea how to deal with that, but you were patient and waited for me to catch up.

Mom, no need to worry, the stuff they were talking about was all about training. Chuck would never hurt me." She giggles, "Although there was that one time, he put me over his knee..."

Chuck covers his face with his hands, "OH GOD!" the guests laugh.

"…I deserved it, I said something that brings really bad mojo. What happened after was lots of fun." Chuck keeps his face covered as the room is filled with more laughter.

"Chuck, I hope I made myself clear in my vows. You are the finest man I've ever met. When I didn't have you in my life, I was half a person. My darling, my wonderful Chuck. To quote one of the many movies you introduced me to 'You complete me'. By the way, you had me at Vicki Vale, Vicki Vale. Thank you for loving me. Thank you for marrying me." She turns to the guests and sighs. "You are the finest group of people any woman can call family and friends. Thank you for being here. Thank you for loving us. May you all live long healthy lives so you can be with us to celebrate our fiftieth anniversary. Cheers to you all." The guests all say, "To fifty."

Chuck

Chuck stands puts his arm around Sarah's waist and kisses her. "I honestly thought this would never happen. That Sarah Walker would finally consent to be my bride. Then to top it off, to be surrounded by family and friends, as I marry the love of my life. All of you are people I love and respect.

Ellie, Devon, I never would have gotten here without you. You never gave up on me. Even when I gave up on myself.

We've been so fortunate, been given so much." He stops and looks around at each person. "I'm so blessed; we're so blessed." Sarah smiles and kisses his cheek.

"Thank you all so much for your love and support. I have only one more person I need to thank. Adam, hit it." He turns to face Sarah the music begins, and he starts to sing.

You fill up my senses
Like a night in a forest
Like the mountains in springtime
Like a walk in the rain
Like a storm in the desert
Like a sleepy blue ocean
You fill up my senses
Come fill me again

Sarah's hand goes to her throat and her tears start to flow. Chuck drops to one knee and takes her hand as he continues to sing.

Come let me love you

Let me give my life to you
Let me drown in your laughter
Let me die in your arms
Let me lay down beside you
Let me always be with you
Come let me love you
Come love me again

Let me give my life to you
Come let me love you
Come love me again

Sarah mouths the words, "I love you." Then pulls Chuck up on his feet.

You fill up my senses
Like a night in a forest
Like the mountains in springtime
Like a walk in the rain
Like a storm in the desert
Like a sleepy blue ocean
You fill up my senses
Come fill me again

The music ends and Chuck looks into Sarah's eyes. "Sarah Lisa Bartowski, Thank you, for loving me, for marrying me, for being the woman that you are. He raises his glass; I toast to a long and happy life with the most magnificent woman ever created."

"Every time I think I can't possibly love you more, you prove me wrong." Sarah reaches up and pulls Chuck's face down to kiss him as the guests all applaud and cheer.

The cake

The cheering stops when the kitchen doors open. Julian comes into the room supervising a group of men in Chef's garb. "Ruin that cake and I'll have your heads."

The men in unison respond, "Yes Chef."

The wedding singer announces, "Ladies and gentlemen, THE CAKE."

"Come on love of my life, let's cut the cake." Sarah wraps her arms around Chuck's arm as they walk towards the group of men.

Chuck's eyes go wide. "FRAK ME! It's the Millennium Falcon." He turns picking Sarah up in the air. "Who has the best wife ever? Me I do."

Sarah is laughing with abandon, looking down at him, "Do you like it Baby? It's the chocolate cake with cherry filling like you wanted. The marzipan topping is there too. I just changed the design a little."

He lowers her until her face is in front of his. "I love it… and the cake too." He kisses her as if they were alone. They don't hear the applause.

Sarah taps Chuck on the shoulder, "Um Hon, we're not alone."

Lowering her to the floor Chuck sighs. "Mmmm, bummer. Where is he, where's Julian? Come on Master Chief time for you to get your kiss from me."

Julian screams out, "OH HELL NO!"

Everyone is laughing when Sarah screams out, "Ladies get him."

All the women in the room rush forward and grab Julian. They push him towards Chuck. "Chuck! Please! No! I love you, but not that way."

Casey yells out, "Watch it Master Chief, he slobbers. Unfortunately, I know."

Chuck and Sarah are laughing wildly. Taking a breath they whisper to each other. Sarah shakes her head, "Julian you've offended my husband. I'm afraid you've left us no choice." She lets out a heavy sigh. "Ladies, he's all yours, have your way with him."

Julian is surrounded by women, his arms flail as he's passed from one to the other. When he's is allowed to come up for air every inch of his face is covered with lipstick. "Whew, that was special." The ladies all laugh as they push him towards Chuck and Sarah.

Sarah steps up to him, "Oh look, they missed a spot, right there." She kisses the corner of his mouth. "Julian thank you for your service, your food, and your sense of humor."

He clears his throat, "No problem, Sarah, it really was, my pleasure." The guests all laugh.

Gretchen steps up behind him and whispers in his ear. "Come to my room later and I'll show you some real appreciation. Bring some whipped cream, and don't forget the cherries and chocolate sauce."

Julian's eyes go wide. He clears his throat again, "Ahem, time to cut the cake."

The cake is cut, Sarah feeds Chuck a piece nicely, no mess. Chuck does the same for her. They take their seats as the cake and coffee is served.

April approaches Devon who has a sleeping Clara on his lap. She picks the sleeping child up and cradles her lovingly in her arms. "Dr. Woodcomb, I'll be taking all the kids to my room. I'll stay with them for the night, enjoy your evening."

Devon looks up and sees the twins held by the Grimes and Molly held by Emma, all fast asleep, waiting for her to lead the way. "April, Thank you. I can't tell you how lucky we are that you came into our lives."

April smiles. "Sir, you don't get it. I'm the lucky one. Somehow, I find Clara better company than terrorists. Have a good night."

Alex whispers, "We'll be back as soon as we get the kids changed and settled in. Save us some cake."

Later

As she walks around speaking with her guests a waiter Walks up to Sarah and hands her an envelope. "What's this?"

"I don't know Ma'am, that Secret Service agent in the dark glasses asked me to give it to you."

"Who? What agent? Where?"

The waiter turns, "That guy right over… he's gone."

"Okay thank you."

Sarah opens the envelope, it's a note card. She reads it.

"Dearest Daughter-in-Law,

Congratulations. My son is indeed a lucky man. I know that he loves you with no end. Please take care of him. All my love and hopes are with you. Dad"

P.S. Remind my daughter that she's loved."

As Sarah stares at the note a tear rolls down her cheek. Her head pops up and she scans the room frantically. No sign of him. She looks back at the note, all she sees is a blank piece of paper.

The party is going strong when she finds Chuck and grabbing his hand pulls him aside to a quiet corner. Chuck is all smiles, "All right, married couple make out session."

Sarah grabs his chin and looks him in his eye. He can tell she's serious. "Chuck I just got a very strange note."

The smile fades from his face. "How strange?"

She shows him the blank note card. "It's from someone calling himself Dad who asked that I look after his son. Also he said to remind his daughter that she's loved. The ink vanished as soon as I read it."

Chuck's eyes, go wide, then a smile grows on his face. He shoves the notecard into his pocket. "Alright! He made it! Not here Hon, we'll talk later. There's nothing to worry about. Everything is fine. Don't mention this to Ellie until we talk. The stars are with us. We need to get out of here, I saw what you packed for our honeymoon."

Sarah laughs as she's pulled by her husband out of the room, and into the night. .
