Same Day...

Belle sat back and watched as the new people entered the room; and began to listen as Vince and Paul went over the plans. She studied everyone and wrote little notes as to who was who and how they responded. It was again similar to her old newsroom. When one spoke up in defence of their wrestler, another would interject and argued theirs deserved more airtime, promo, a win...etc. Sam was right. It was a battle without physical contact.

Sam, who had excused himself when his agents appeared, smiled and nodded when he caught Belle's eye. He made a silly face and she grinned and shook her head at him. He was sweet. It had been a long time since anyone had had that sort of effect on her. He was in control and yet not overpowering in his expressions. He heard each of them and gave them the space to speak their peace. "Oh Belles, take a breath and slow down girl."

Belle took a moment and scanned over her notes and began to flesh out some ideas when she sensed a presence next to her. She closed her book and glanced to her left - "Hey Boss." She smiled as Stephanie sat down.

"Hi, I thought I would come and check on you. I should have explained the process of this meeting better."

"Not a problem, Sam filled me in a little on what was going on. They're ...passionate aren't they?" She continued slowly as she tried to think of the right adjective.

Steph laughed and nodded. "That's one way of putting it. Most of them are ex-wrestlers so they know what it's like when their producers come to them and how they felt at the time."

"I wouldn't have thought that would be a lot of fun."

"It's hard but they know how to handle themselves and how to turn the temperature down, so to speak." Steph replied.

"So what happens from here? Sam said they go and meet up with their guys, but what do you do now?"

"Okay, so the agents go meet with their groups and discuss everything and plan some spots. Which are moves they think will work and go over the promos. As for us, I would like you to sit in another closed meeting with myself, Vince and Paul. Take some notes because some other execs will be joining us." Steph whispered. "It will be similar to what we did this morning. I'll introduce you to everyone and then you can go to the back or off to the side. We talk about the finer details of the production side and go over each block. Entrance music, promo times, matches, pyros and whatnot."

"Got it. So the layout and runsheet sort of thing."

"Exactly. After that you will have a little spare time, so I suggest you get yourself something to eat or get some fresh air. I won't need you, but if something comes up I will text you. How does that sound?" Steph asked with a smile.

"Not a problem."

"Excellent. So, soon Vince will dismiss the writing team and agents and then the others will start to file in and we'll go from there. How are you feeling? Is it too fast?"

Belle shook her head. "Not at all. I'm good. Am I doing alright so far?"

"You're perfect." The Billion Dollar Princess whispered as she stood up. "I need to go back up the front and check in with a couple of people. You can stay here and when everyone leaves please feel free to make your way up the front."

"Thanks Steph." Belle replied.

Steph winked back and walked off.

Belle surveyed the room as Sam walked back over. "Everything okay?" He asked and sat back down in his chair.

"I survived my first agents meeting, so yes, I think I'm doing pretty well thanks." Belle grinned.

"Love to hear that." He chuckled. "You two cool?"

"Oh yeah, she walked me through the next steps."

Sam smiled. "Good, so I was wondering if you would like to grab an early dinner with me later on?"

"I would love that, thank you. I'm not sure of the time yet, Steph needs me to stick around for the production meeting. So would it be okay if I messaged you afterwards she doesn't think she'll need me right after?" Belle explained - happy that he wanted to spend more time with her.

"Perfect. I have to leave and finish up a few things, but my phone will be on. Message me whenever and I will come and get you and we can walk down together, if that's acceptable?"

"Totally acceptable." Belle grinned.

"Great. Well I will see you after your meeting." He replied with an equally happy grin on his face. "Have fun." He whispered as he stood.

Tingles vibrated up and down her spine at the closeness of his face and his warm breath on her face. Belle tried to hide her blush and hoped she wasn't bright red.

Sam's grin widened at the obvious effect his action caused, unintentional as it was. It still made him happy.

Belle waited until the last person had filed out before she closed her notebook and placed everything back into her handbag. She made her way to the front as Vince and Steph were going over roughly written notes in front of them and Paul was on his phone.

"How did you find your first agent's meeting?" Vince asked as he peered up over his glasses that were perched on the tip of his nose.

Belle smiled, "Interesting. I liked watching the different dynamics from each group. It reminded me of the old newsroom."

Vince laughed as Paul and Steph grinned. "Well just wait and see what happens after everyone knows what's going on."

"Can't wait."

They all laughed and continued to make small talk as the door opened and in walked a man in a dark grey suit. Vince nodded his head. "Kevin meet Stephanie and Paul's new assistant Belle. Belle this is Kevin Dunn; he's the EVP of production."

"Hi Belle, lovely to meet you." Kevin smiled.

"Hi, Mr. Dunn, pleasure to meet you." Belle replied with a smile and shook his hand.

"Please call me Kevin. How are you settling in?"

"Well thanks Kevin, everyone has been very welcoming."

"Fantastic. Please let me know if there's anything you need."

Steph stared up at Kevin and polietly smiled. She didn't outright despise the man but she didn't entirely like him either. Belle picked up on the slight tension and retracted her hand as polietly as she could manage. "Thank you so much."

Paul cleared his throat and steered the EVP's attention away with a side conversation as Steph and Belle exchanged a small look.

As each new person appeared Vince introduced each of them to Belle and soon after the meeting began. Belle took a chair off to the side but made sure she faced the room to get a clearer view. She took notes to make it more legitimate as most eyes were covertly focused on her. Belle took it all in her stride and tried her best to ignore the stares and whispers. "Focus!" she wrote next to one name. (Peter?) Blonde man with shady eyes contstantly staring at me...creepy vibe.

Vince went through the rundown of the show and focused on the time of each segment. Paul then spoke about the impact that he wanted from the NXT people. He wanted them to take charge as he had mentioned earlier to her. A lot rided on their shoulders and on his and Belle for one hoped it all went smoothly.

As the meeting progressed and more and more people had their say Vince would make the nesescary changes and then would start from the top again and timed each segment. It seemed rather tedious and Belle couldn't help but think that if streamlined with much less involvement by everyone, the process and show would run a lot more efficiently. But then again this was only her first day so what does she know?

After another hour of going back and forth, Vince declared the meeting over and everyone filed out. a few said goodbye to Belle as others simply nodded or waved. Belle made a point of being nice and friendly to all of them and smiled.

"Did you get everything about the last segment?" Steph asked in "boss mode".

"Yes. I have all the changes and I took down the timing as well." Belle replied. "Would you like me to make copies for Paul for the NXT segments?"

"That would be great. Make a few copies and then you can have a break." Steph smiled.

Belle nodded and packed up her bag. She stood up and unfolded her cane. "I'll get those copies back to you as quickly as I can. Was there anything else anyone needed?"

"I think that's it for now Belle. Thanks for the hard work this afternoon." Paul replied and stood up.

"Belle, one moment please." Vince announced as he finished his conversation with Kevin. "Why don't you join us for the show? You can get a closer look at the entire production."

Belle smiled a little shocked at the invitation. She glanced at both Steph and Paul who grinned and descretely nodded their heads. "Thank you Sir, that would be amazing."

"Great. Stephanie will fill you in on the details later." He said and returned his focus back to his papers.

"Thank you." Belle replied and made her way out.

"Good stuff 99." Paul whispered as he opened the door for her.

Belle smirked. "Thanks Max."

She walked out of the conference room and back towards the nearest copiers she had found earlier in the day. She took out her notebook and lifted the lid open and placed her page down against the glass. She had indeed taken extensive notes so to everyone else in and out of the meeting everything looked perfectly normal. Belle read the instructions on how to use the machine on the small note that was taped on top, keyed in her employee number, the number of copies, black and white and pressed start.

She smirked to herself. In her previous life she didn't even know how to work the papers copiers. They were so complicated she swore she spent more time yelling at the machine than anything else. "Oh, how life changes..."

Meanwhile:

Max, the agent in charge that evening; sat with Joe and Jon and explained what had been decided. He listened as the guys talked about what they didn't like and what they thought needed to be changed. He understood everything but he knew he'd hit more than a few roadblocks when he went back and discussed it all with Vince.

After another twenty odd minutes of discussion, Max stood up and thanked them for the notes and that he would take them to Vince and catch up with them.

"Hey Max, have you met the new girl?" Joe asked as they shook hands.

"Steph's new assistant? Yeah I met her before in the meeting. We didn't have any type of indepth, but she's cool."

"How can she see what she's doing if she's blind?" Jon blurted out.

Joe closed his eyes and shook his head.

Max grinned. "She's not completely blind. My sister works with the blind and from what I could tell she can see a little. Now I don't know how much but she was writing and taking notes so she may just be legally blind."

Joe and Jon stared at him with blank expressions. "Fully blind means no light or vision in her eyes. She can't make out forms and shapes. And the other means she still has a little sight left in at least one eye but needs an aide to get around and help. Amongst other techniques to help with day to day activities." Max further explained. "Hence why she has a vision cane."

Both men continued to stare and finally nodded. "So you think she can see a little?"

"Yeah, well she was looking around the room, reading through a couple of handouts Steph gave to her and as I said, she wrote constantly in her notebook." Max shrugged. "So she must have a little vision left to be able to do those sorts of things."

"Hope she lasts." Joe quipped. "I'm hungry want to come to catering with us?"

"I'll meet up with you guys." Max replied.

"Sounds good. Come on let's go I'm starving." Jon grumbled.

They walked out and down the corridoor. Joe glanced at his phone and sighed a little when he saw he had no new messages.

"He just needs some time." Jon said.

"Yeah." Joe sighed.

Joe knew Jon was right and that he too had told Colby to take some time but it didn't mean it made him worry about his brother any less.

"There she is."

"Who?" Jon asked.

"See the woman with Sam?" Max continued as he motioned his head slightly over to them. "That's the new girl Belle." Max said as he watched people step out of her way.

"She's cute." Jon said as he took her in.

"Who's cute?" Joe asked as he finished his text message and slid it back into his pocket. He glanced up and stopped dead in his tracks when he saw the woman. He couldn't believe his eyes - was it really her?

Jon and Max stopped and turned back around when they noticed Joe was no longer beside them.

"Uce, do you know her?" Jon asked confused at his friends sudden reaction.

Joe continued to openly stare at the woman and watched her and Sam walk into catering. "Huh? Ah, no. No I don't know her." He replied with the start of a small smile on his face.

"What's with the face?" Max quiered.

"It's nothing. Come on let's go eat." Joe said and walked off not bothered if they followed or not. "Shit! Things are about to get real interesting around here..."
