He will show his strength for sure. Keita will do his best. Keita and Kai have similar Quirks, with some differences. Thanks for the harem suggestions. With Dabi, I am intrigued to see where it goes, and if anything cool, no pun intended, is done with the reveal. It makes sense that Geten's related given the appearance and power, regardless, it was nice to see it confirmed and give more depth to Geten. We shall see how it goes for sure.

TheGreatGodzilla; Hello, I do yeah~ Because Keita is there, thats why she is still with them. The Hero Commission, mainly Lady Nagant and Hawks got him out of Kai's grasp. Keita is the same age as Izuku and Katsuki, Kai is older than Keita. We shall see when he meets Stain. The League will have a grand part to play as the story goes on.

Chapter 6
Standing before Kai in an empty street, save for those that were with Kai, Keita kept thinking of options for him to take.
Glancing at Rappa, and then towards the recovering Chronostasis, and finally Katsukame, Keita did wonder where the other members he knew of being around were at.
But those thoughts went out of his head when Kai began approaching him.
"Kei...its alright, I understand. Things happened before, and it was worrying for you. But now..."
Keita took a few steps backwards when seeing Kai approach, and then looked on with narrowing brows.
"Stay away from me. I don't know what you want..."
"I made my intentions clear, Kei. I want you to come back with me."
"Why!?"
Keita demanded, hoping that this could buy sometime before the others could potentially arrive. Keita didn't want ordinary people, or Heroes that couldn't handle this to appear.
"Why does one do anything for someone they care for? Its because you're my important little brother, and I missed you."
"Its all lies."
Keita muttered, surprising Kai for a few moments.
But then a small slight annoyed face grew upon Kai.
"Lies are what those in that Hero Society have been telling you. Its a sickness. There's no truly good concepts of Heroes out there. All of them are selfish in one way or another."
"People are different, not all are selfish, I have seen selfless ones myself. Besides, this isn't about Heroes. I want to know why you keep chasing me? Isn't it enough what you've done in the past? Let me go!"
Kai pulled forward, as Keita took a step back.
Seeing that, Kai didn't like it at all.
"Its upsetting, considering in the past, it was only you and me for a long time. I took care of you, and now, they've turned you against me. Kei...its better if you see through their disgusting ways, and come with me."
"You also killed me...in experiments for your own gains, so how can you say they are disgusting? When you...would do that, to your own brother...how could you do that to me?"
"What I am aiming to achieve, is for us to be on top. We've been through enough, haven't we Kei? Sometimes, you have to use methods that you don't like. I don't like hurting you, I never did. I did it for our future."
"Hurt…?" Keita almost was sick when Kai said it in such a trivial way. "You...didn't like hurting me…?"
Because of how crazy it sounded, Keita had to ask that directly.
Kai showed a rather calm face, and continues on, trying to appeal to Keita.
"Exactly, you know that I care for you, and sometimes I had to use my power, all in the name of making us stronger. You're special, Kei. Your power can be such a gift. That's why, I had to learn more about it."
Keita this time felt incredibly sickened.
Seeing Kai having no sense of morals, and how he was washing away everything he did as if it was trivial for him, to Keita that was simply disgusting and he felt anger towards the man that was before him.
"...Learn more, for who? To do that to me...for what? What did you learn about killing me, big brother? How to do it faster? How to be more precise? You tell me...because, I don't know how you can stand there, and justify anything you did to me."
Keita said it with a strong expression, trying to hold his own against Kai in a battle of determination.
Kai was trying to intimidate him, that much was clear to Keita.
But Keita knew he had to stay sharp, not give into anything Kai wished for.
"I did that, for the sake of-"
"Yourself!" Keita snapped. "Its always been for the sake of you. Tell me...what did tearing me apart, and putting me back together over and over again...do for me? What advantages was there...to experience death...on a daily basis…? So tell me big brother...who benefited other than you from this?"
Kai looked at Keita during his speech, seeing and even feeling the emotions behind his words, beginning to feel something himself deep within him, even catching Kai himself by surprise by what it was that he felt.
Kai turned his eyes away from Keita, surprising the young man that Kai would even do that, and took advantage of it, immediately using his Quirk, and took off riding an earth pillar in the opposite direction.
Kai turned back to see Keita leaving, so he stuck out his hand.
"I don't think so."
What shocked Keita next was that objects began lifting into the air. Keita could see them flying by his body, and caused them to land before Keita, halting his progress.
Keita looked back, and saw that Kai was watching on, his hands up, indicating that he in fact did that.
"That wasn't Overhaul... You...used another Quirk..."
"I told you, this is what I have been working towards, with you by my side." Kai snapped his fingers, and from different directions, more people began to emerge. People Keita recognized as those from the Shie Hassaikai, the same place that Kai essentially was in charge of. "I brought some friends, in case you would become difficult. I don't want to cause you pain Kei, this would be so much easier if you just came with me."
Keita just began shaking his head, showing that he wouldn't go with Kai willingly, not allowing Kai to try and dictate his life anymore.
Kai wasn't thrilled to see that.
So he began moving closer.
Keita noticed the others surrounding him, not giving him any kind of out.
Even then, thanks to the training he had been given and his own ingenuity, Keita was planning on what to do next, and was staying as calm as he possibly could be in the face of such a force that caused him emotional pain.
"So, he's brought heavy hitters like Rappa-san, and Katsukame, if he touches me, then my stamina would be absorbed...and then there's the recovering Chronostasis, if he cuts me with his hair, then he's going to be able to slow my body down, and give them the chance to make a win...it seems that some of the others aren't here, I wonder if they're being used as lookouts, in case other Heroes are to try and interrupt this...but for sure, big brother, he is the main concern, especially now he has at least one new Quirk, he could have more...I have to deal with him first..."
As he thought about it, Kai crossed the distance and pulled up before Keita.
Keita looked up to him, locking eyes with him.
"It would have been so much simpler if you had come with me without resisting, Kei. Forgive me, it wont last long..."
Kai moved his hand towards Keita, who tightened his own hands, getting ready to brawl...
Moments later, a bullet made of a certain persons hair pierced through Kai's legs...
"Well, looks like we have a new arrival."
Piercing him was the intention.
However, what actually happened was as the bullet hit Kai's leg, the clothing was blown away by the force, but the actual skin didn't receive any significant damage, to the point that it looked as if it left only light markings remaining.
Lady Nagant up high looked astonished from on top of a tall building, while Kai adopted a smirk, his eyes turning towards the location the bullet came from, soon locking eyes onto Lady Nagant.
"I have to praise you Lady Nagant, for being able to work your way around the men I placed to make sure we'd be secured, it is commendable skill on your part. However, it seems this time, your bullets aren't going to reach me. I prepared, just in case you showed up."
Keita grimaced, thinking "He gained a protection type Quirk...skin hardening or some kind of thin barrier...whatever the case, he's protected himself...even Nagant-chan couldn't pierce him, and I've seen her pierce through stone and other materials..." while Kai himself fully turning around to face her, Lady Nagant frowned in return.
"Looks like you've somehow gained a new Quirk."
The venom in her voice, told Keita exactly how much Lady Nagant despised Kai, and what he represented.
"I have gained more than one, Lady Nagant. Really, you are a troublesome person, I had to go through a good deal of lengths to prepare in case you showed up. Gaining Quirks, and using my limited resources to prepare a stage for us to have our final battle."
Lady Nagant readied her rifle.
"You are right about that. This will be our final battle, today is the day I put an end to the darkness you've suffocated Keita-kun in, you insufferable bastard!"
Keita widened his eyes, seeing that even in the face of seeing her bullet not working against him, she still was determined to face off against him, all for the sake of him, and giving him peace of mind, that touched him more than he ever thought possible, and he couldn't fall behind now, it only pushed his desires to fight even further, and he began moving his hand downwards, when Kai turned around, and glared.
"Do not interfere Kei!"
"Keita-kun, let him have it! Show him your resolve after the pain he has caused you!"
When hearing that from Lady Nagant, Keita turned to the surprised Kai with defiant eyes.
"You thought you lured me here big brother...that wasn't true in the slightest. I lured you here, so no one would get hurt, and that I could unleash my power against you. I... I care more about keeping people safe, which outweighs my worry of you! So you wanted to see my power right? Then here it is, all for you!"
With no time to spare, Keita slammed his hands on the ground, and caused a good wide radius to erupt into thick heavy spikes.
A spike managed to slice across Kai's very hardened skin, drawing blood that dripped onto the ground, and more spikes continued shooting up to take Kai down.
"Shit!"
Fearing the alternative of being completely skewered, Kai retreated backwards, as Keita noticed he took out a syringe, and stuck it to his skin, which briefly lost its hardness to allow that to happen, and granted Kai with another power, which he used to propel himself down the street with little jet like propellers appearing at side of his legs which could rotate forward or backwards to allow Kai to achieve high speeds in any direction.
The spikes spread all over, taking up nearing a streets length before him, forcing Kai to retreat backwards, as each new spike shot high into the air, and threatened to take him down, though Kai managed to achieve avoiding more damage, but saw one last spike go for his chest.
With quick reaction time, Kai grabbed the spike, and caused it to shatter before it reached him, or so he thought.
"This feeling...no, he reached me..."
However, Kai felt something at the center of his chest, so he looked to see the spike had in fact reached him, it didn't penetrate very far, but the fact that it did at all astonished, excited, and also drew some worry into Kai that Keita could use his Quirk so quickly.
He looked to Keita, as the stone spikes shattered into thousands of pieces, showing he put his all into it, and sweat glistened his brow.
Showing a smirk, Kai clapped his hands a single time, after he used his Overhaul Quirk to fix the injuries he received.
"Impressive, Kei. Really, well done. I'm very interested to see what else you can do. Show me, when we get back to the Shie Hassaikai."
"He wont be going anywhere with you!"
Lady Nagant roared, unleashing shot after shot at Kai, who in turn crossed his arms in front of his face, and took on the barrage of bullets.
However, unlike last time, Lady Nagant used her strongest shots, and these were in fact causing damage to his skin, it wasn't enough for Lady Nagant's liking, but she was satisfied that she could cause him to bleed and if she could, then she'd end it quickly.
"This all you got? This is nothing to me!" Kai snapped, then turned his hand towards his men. "Secure Kei, leave this little Hero to me."
Lady Nagant watched as the jets attached to his feet aimed downwards, allowing him to shoot off into the sky, directly confronting her.
"No, big brother!"
"You aren't leaving boy!"
Keita went to chase, when he saw Katsukame come in from the side, his large hand tried to punch Keita, who swiftly dodges the attack, and slammed his hand down, forcing a chunk of the earth to erupt outwards.
The pillar of earth smashed against Katsukame, hitting him hard enough that he went flying, hitting a wall on the opposite side of the street, as Chronostasis took a step forward, having Rappa right beside him.
"All alone now boy. Its my chance to finally show you why betraying the Shie Hassaikai is a bad idea."
Keita grits his teeth, seeing the approaching enemies, and was getting prepared to fight.
Meanwhile, Lady Nagant watched Kai approach her from on top of a rooftop, so she aimed her gun downwards, firing off several shots to try and take him down.
Aiming for his face, chest, and anywhere she could, the hailstorm of bullets rained down upon Kai, who in turn began trying to weave out of the way, but to the credit of Lady Nagant, the bullets were so fast that he didn't have the chance to avoid, and had to take them head on, but thanks to his new defensive ability, it allowed Kai to protect himself from Lady Nagant's onslaught of attacks.
"Like the Quirk, Lady Nagant? I picked it out, especially for you."
Lady Nagant scowled at the taunt, as Kai got to the same roof she was on, only having minimal injuries, which Kai used his own Quirk to heal himself, showing an uncomfortable expression when using his power.
"So, who did you kill for that power?"
"Does it matter?"
He countered, Lady Nagant found how he said that to be disgusting.
"I suppose for someone like you, it doesn't matter. Even then, I find you sickening."
"What really is sickening is what I thought to be true. In your care, my little brother was never safe."
Lady Nagant gave suspicious eyes.
"What are you talking about? I'm not the one who experimented on him for years."
"You claimed to be protecting him, you claim to be someone that values freedom. But, in the end, all that proved to be a lie. Considering...haha, it was one of you that gave me the chance to find Kei in the first place."
A truth, that Lady Nagant didn't know if she could trust.
However, it was a truth that even Lady Nagant had to admit had been running through her mind for a good time now.
"I guess you wanted me to find him...hmm, perhaps you also wished for my power? Because that's why you took Kei, wasn't it? For his incredible power. Adding onto that my own, or perhaps to even kill me, so you could use that power of his without me coming for you. Its exactly how I always suspected you people to be, the Heroes are no better than the Villains they go after."
"He was being tortured by you, don't pretend you had the slightest care for that boy."
"You call it torture, I call it opening up new possibilities. My little brother, his power really is amazing, it is a gift that keeps giving."
Lady Nagant narrowed her eyebrows at what he said.
Lady Nagant shook her head angrily.
"The fact of the matter is that you took that boy, and you used him for your own gains. You didn't care what happened to him, you only cared about your end result. All this talk about wanting him because you're brothers, if that was true, you never would have laid a hand on him, and never would have hurt him. He was innocent, and you tore him apart, when he looked to you for protection...you are a true monster, Kai Chisaki."
Kai frowned deeply.
"You know nothing of the care I have for my brother, now why don't you-"
Suddenly, red feathers flew all around, and began shredding towards Kai.
However, thanks to his hardened skin, the feathers weren't able to cut through him all that well, only being able to make shallow dents within the hardened skin.
Kai gave an unamused face, his eyes turning upwards.
"Oh look, another Hero. This time, its the feathery one. Hmph, if you think your presence is going to change the outcome of this battle, then think again."
Hawks flew in the sky, genuinely shocked to see that Kai survived that onslaught of his feathers, what more that he barely had more than a scratch on him.
Back with Keita, he faced down Chronostasis, Rappa, Katsukame and thugs that they had gathered. Chronostasis was being arrogant, as he flashed a gun that he aimed towards the young man.
Keita didn't back down, while glancing at Rappa.
Behind his mask, Keita couldn't see his face at all.
Beyond him, Chronostasis began to laugh.
"As we speak, Overhaul is taking out your saviour, your Lady Nagant is going to be killed."
"If you think that's true, then you're severally underestimating the power of Lady Nagant. She isn't going to be defeated that easily, even against big brothers powers."
Keita made his thoughts known, only to have them be laughed at by Chronostasis.
"Tch, really, if it was up to me, we'd not bother with you. I'd much rather be after worthwhile things."
"Just goes to show, how valuable I am to big brother, compared to you. Think he'd come for you too, Chronostasis?"
Keita could see that within his eyes, that Keita was hitting some home truths that were difficult for him to hear.
"You shut it! You know nothing of the friendship between Overhaul-sama and myself! You are merely his Pawn!"
"If I am a Pawn, then you're worth even less than that. Try and put me down all you want, there's nothing you can say that can hurt me. Your Quirk, I know the ins and outs of it, I wont allow you to win Chronostasis."
"You think so, do you? Alright, Katsukame, do it."
Keita turned towards him, and saw that Katsukame was many times bigger. He saw that he was inhaling in, and those that they had brought with him, were falling down to the ground like flies. Their stamina was being absorbed into Katsukame, and leaving them with nothing.
He then moved so fast even Keita was surprised, so the young man leapt back, as Katsukame ran his fist towards Keita, and though Keita avoided, the fist smashed deep into the earth, causing huge chunks of it to be erupted upwards, even surprising Keita.
"Let me guess, he has some Quirks too?"
"Speed and strength."
Katsukame admitted, showing a darkened scowl.
"Coupled with the Quirk you already had...but, you couldn't absorb stamina without touching them. Unless...you took Trigger."
"Trigger boosting all of my Quirks, you will die!"
Katsukame lunged at Keita after boasting to him, Keita in turn formed a wall with spikes erupting from them, but it didn't deter Katsukame who continued with his fist, his hand being cut into, but his strength also breaking through Keita's wall at the same time, forcing the young man to dash backwards before he was attacked.
"No matter how many powers you have, I wont back down!"
Anger filled Katsukame, and he took another lunge at Keita while Keita touched the ground, and released a few pillars with large spikes at the end to try and take down Katsukame.
But even with the idea of being skewered not bothering him, Katsukame took it head on, and kept releasing punch after punch, which broke through a few of the spikes, though they still sliced into his flesh, Katsukame shrugged them off.
Keita used this chance to dash forward, and got in close with Katsukame.
He reached out for him, but Katsukame, wise to what Keita could do, repelled himself backwards, so Keita slammed his hands downwards, and caused a ground to shoot up, curve around and spikes to come in from the left and the right.
Katsukame was shocked, even Chronostasis was stunned to see Keita doing that, Rappa on the other hand looked excited to see this happening before his eyes.
"Gotten ruthless, kid?!"
Katsukame yelled, as he crossed his arms and took the spikes in different parts of his body, managing to stop himself from being skewered, but the stone spikes still pierced his skin, so Keita pulled up, and glared.
"I have gotten prepared, that's what I have gotten, Katsukame."
Chronostasis gave a smug expression on his face.
"Well, looks like someone has gotten stronger, but so have we. Your spikes can kill, but we will beat you before that happens."
Keita glanced at Chronostasis.
"Still the same as always, being smug in situations you have no idea how they'll play out. Chronostasis, once I'm done with him, I'm coming for you."
Chronostasis began to laugh at the words Keita said.
"Looks like you have gained strength, but compared to us, you are nothing-"
When Chronostasis went to gloat, Keita already was using his hand to attempt a grab after crossing the distance rapidly by running across the ground, which frightened Katsukame so he had no choice but to avoid, Keita's hand was only inches away from touching him, Katsukame saved himself, but barely.
Katsukame then raised his large fist into the air, his menacing eyes upon Keita.
Rappa watched on, his fist tightened ever so slightly.
Keita was then attacked with a large fist from up above.
However, before the large fist reached him, Keita managed to form a wall that looked like a dome around him out of the earth.
"Hah! Think this is going to stop me?!"
Katsukame managed to use his increased strength to shatter the stone dome in a few moments.
When he did, they expected to see Keita inside, but that wasn't the case at all.
They looked around for him, not sure where he could have gone.
That was until Katsukame felt something touch him on his arm.
He looked to see Keita, coming out of a hole he had made himself in the ground, like a tunnel, and now Katsukame was at Keita's mercy.
"I have people to get to, so lets wrap this up."
"No, don't! Don't kill me you shit!"
"Swearing at me, when I have your life literally in the palm of my hand, that is a bad move to make."
Keita used his power upon Katsukame, breaking his arm as Keita manipulated his body, and Keita's Quirk then travelled across Katsukame's body, doing enough damage to incapacitate him, blood leaking out of fresh wounds that Keita was making appear.
Katsukame was brought down to his knees with large cuts across his flesh, his broken arm as well as his weakened body, as Keita tapped the ground, sending a flat pillar of earth to collide with Katsukame, knocking him unconscious.
Keita turned his eyes to Chronostasis.
"You're next."
Chronostasis was beyond surprised when seeing this happen.
He pulled back slightly, while Rappa gave a smirk underneath his mask.
"Y...You took out Katsukame." Chronostasis began to scowl, as his clock hand arrow like hair turned towards Keita. "Stay away from me!"
The new panic in his voice told Keita exactly what Chronostasis was feeling right now.
"Not so cocky now that you are alone, are you Chronostasis?"
Chronostasis shuddered at the threat, while Keita stared hard at the man before him.
Chronostasis aimed his hair at Keita, and went to fire it, so Keita began reaching downwards.
As his finger touched the ground, he was surprised when suddenly Rappa slammed his fist into the back of Chronostasis's head, the force of the impact knocking him unconscious.
Keita paused, watching as Rappa dusted his hands together.
"Little annoying bastard." Rappa moved his eyes to Keita, who in turn stood fully up. "Tch. Look at this, seems like you've grown more. And what's this? You've become bad ass. Hahaha, I like it kid, I really do. Its a good look for you."
"Rappa-san...you're really here...and you're okay...thank goodness..."
Keita adopted happy eyes, and rushed towards Rappa…
Meanwhile, Hawks, and Lady Nagant stood off against Kai. Kai looked between them, one behind, and one in front of him, and let out a laugh.
"So, its a fight with you two. I was hoping that would be the case, because I wanted to kill both of you in one move, remove you from causing my little brother anymore strife."
"Kill us huh?" Hawks began. "And here I thought, you came to have a friendly chat."
"Jokes wont save you, bird boy." Kai said with a darkened tone. "Taking my brother from me, almost ruining the Yakuza with your little invasion. Did you think I'd allow you to get away with those things?"
Lady Nagant didn't care about what Kai said, and immediately shot her gun for his upper body. The shot did push Kai backwards, but didn't break the skin merely enough to cause lasting damage, even Hawks was surprised by that.
"Its more than one hardening Quirk, isn't it? Find some of the same type?"
Lady Nagant accused, Kai shrugged his shoulders.
"I guess you shall find out soon enough."
Hawks didn't like the sound of that, so he shot his feathers to try and slice Kai down. Though they moved fast, and precisely on target, the feathers weren't able to reach Kai's form to break through, and Kai managed to grab some feathers, using his Quirk to completely destroy them out of existence.
Hawks knew his feathers would regrow eventually, but seeing the destructive capabilities of his power, was equal parts disgusting as it was scary, and he knew that one touch could end it all, so they had no choice but to keep distance.
"So fast, your Quirk would be useful to me, so lets take you down first."
Kai didn't allow that, and he used his jet Quirk to shoot him into the sky. Even Hawks was surprised by his speed, and flew backwards, as Kai chased after him.
Lady Nagant used this chance to get in a clean shot for his leg, to destroy the jet so he couldn't pursue Hawks, the bullet fired rapidly, and curved through the air when Kai tried to dodge out of the way, managing to puncture the side of the jet, but it wasn't enough to destroy it.
It did give Kai a decrease in speed with it being damaged, so Hawks used this chance and took out two large feather blades, closing the distance between them, and came at Kai with a double feather blade strike to cut him down.
He went for the same places Lady Nagant had inflicted damage beforehand, seeing that it was weakened, and because of his speed, even Kai was brought into surprise and couldn't reach out his hands to block the feather blades.
"Damn..."
Hawks cursed, seeing his blades indeed cutting into Kai, but they didn't get much further than only a shallow cut, and this gave Kai the chance to reach for one of the large feathers, completely destroying it in an instant.
Kai then reached for the other, where a bullet slammed hard into Kai's hand, repelling it away from Hawks, giving him time to retreat from the attack.
"You, are really pissing me off."
Kai growled, turning down towards Lady Nagant, and then shot off down towards her.
"If you're pissed off, then I am enraged, Kai."
She instantly leapt to another building, as Kai slammed his hand into the place she stood. He then used his Quirk to Overhaul the building and rearrange it so it became giant spikes that shot off right for Lady Nagant on the opposing building.
Hawks grits his teeth in frustration, and tried flying down, when he saw some spikes dislodging from the ground, Kai turned his hand up towards Hawks, and fired off the spikes similar to telekinesis in Hawks eyes, forcing him to use his immense speed to dodge out of the way while the spikes chased him down.
With Lady Nagant, she was being faced with large spikes, Overhauling towards her in a matter of a moment and seeing how thick they were, not giving her enough time to dodge out of the way, so she concentrated her rifle into a single point, and began firing a few bullets.
Inches from her, the spikes suddenly began falling down to the ground, as she successfully broke through the giant spikes at their base, going for their weak point, protecting herself, and infuriating Kai as a result.
"You really are annoying, aren't you?"
"You really are evil, aren't you?"
Kai huffed.
"The Yakuza are honourable."
"There is nothing honourable about you."
Kai disagreed, while keeping Hawks at bay with spikes of stone raining upwards at the winged Hero.
"You could have made this easier on yourself, if you had simply gone away and left us alone. But you had to do the stupid thing, and get in the way." Kai gave a glare, but then showed a scary expression. "Are you wondering, who betrayed you?" Lady Nagant paused, as Kai looked around at various places. "Could it be your winged friend up there? Could it be someone on the outside? It could be anyone, and that paranoia is going to eat away at you, especially after I capture Kei again."
"Capture him...yes, you have made your intentions truly known once more, haven't you? Capture him, like he is something for you to have. He is his own person, you have no right over him Kai Chisaki!"
Kai scowled, and blasted himself off for Lady Nagant, landing on the building she was on, and slammed his hand down, creating a spike underneath her, as she was trying to dodge.
Slashing at her leg, she winced at the feeling, but it didn't deter her, as she got up a close shot on Kai, causing his chest to suddenly bleed when Lady Nagant got him in the same place once more, this time it caused Kai to be stopped and felt the pain.
Lady Nagant used this chance to try and get him once more, but as she fired, he put up a stone wall, causing the bullet to become weakened as it shot through it, not managing to reach Kai fully this time.
Kai got around the wall, and used his jet Quirk to close the distance, Lady Nagant was astonished, bending her body as his hand came for her, missing her by mere inches, so she retracted her rifle, and spun around.
"Have this!"
She then revealed her rifle once more, using its revealing movement to smash against Kai's right hand side, this time she pushed her power, causing her gun to become stronger, and have her flesh surround it, releasing a powerful bullet at super close range, breaking through the hardened skin, hitting his inner body with enough force that Kai was winded, bleeding profusely.
Kai hunched over, while Lady Nagant attempted to finish the job.
Aiming for his head, she was going to fire, when Kai touched the ground as he yelled "This time, you're dead!", and sent a huge array of spikes right for her upper body...
Back with Keita and Rappa, the older of the two awkwardly as Keita stood before him.
"Rappa-san..." Keita approached Rappa, and gave kind eyes. "I'm just so glad to see you, Rappa-san." Keita pulled back, staring up towards Rappa. "I feared the worst, when I escaped, and well...but, you're okay? Being with my brother..."
"Heh, I choose to be there, remember? But, seems like you're making a life for yourself, huh."
Keita nods strongly.
"I am, and its in part thanks to you, Rappa-san."
Rappa scratched the back of his head, glad that his mask was on so Keita couldn't see his face and how he was really feeling.
"Yeah...heh, I'm sure you'd rather us not be here. But when I heard he was coming for you, I had to come. And that damn annoying Chronostasis also pissed me off as well."
Keita held back a small chuckle when hearing that.
"So...big brother has gained access to new Quirks. He...He came for me, to experiment again, didn't he?"
"He doesn't tell me what's going on with him. But I guess so. I don't know how many of those Quirk things he has with him either, he's secretively, and doesn't even tell his top commanders. Whatever he's got cooking up, I don't have any idea."
Keita exhaled, he wasn't even sure if he wished to know about it either.
"I see...even then, you came here...to help me?"
Rappa folded his arms, and turned his face away, acting aloof, though Keita knew the truth.
"Hmph, don't read too much into it kid, I simply wanted to see how strong you've become, and I'll say you've become very strong since we last saw one another, makes you a worthy challenge for me to go up against. Nothing more than that."
Keita knew that Rappa wouldn't come out and say what it was that he felt.
So he went a roundabout way like this, Keita appreciated it all the same.
"Rappa-san, I have to go and help Nagant-chan now...but if you stay, then you'll still be with big brother...if he gets away, I wouldn't want..."
"As I said, I stay of my own free will. I want to fight Overjerk and beat him one day. I'm sure you're the same. Difference is, you can go and have a better life now without him. Don't worry about me, if you do I'll have to...just listen to me and do as I say."
Keita did appreciate what was being said, but he was still worried about Rappa and what would happen if Kai found out about him helping Keita.
"Rappa-san..."
"Now listen to me, Overjerk has people on the lookout, this battle is going to draw people here soon. So, you're going to attack me, and inflict injuries upon me. Then you're going to go and fight against Overjerk."
"To hurt you...to make it look real..."
Keita surmised, Rappa nodding instantly.
"If this battle ends, with him escaping, I shall as well...and well..." Rappa didn't want to say it aloud, what it was that he truly felt inside regarding his positive thoughts about Keita. "...Now hurry it up, before the others wake up! Attack me, make it look real! I'm still your bodyguard, regardless of where you are, so if I say do something for your safety, you do it, got it kid?!"
Keita pulled back, and stared at the mask Rappa had on.
Attacking him, Keita wasn't the biggest fan of it, but he also knew that Rappa was only trying to protect him deep down, even when he would deny it, Keita felt as if Rappa cared more than the aggressive sides would suggest.
"I understand, Rappa-san...thank you for coming...I really am glad to see you."
Rappa exhaled, feeling a small twinge of emotion in his heart.
So Keita began to approach Rappa…
Back with the others, Lady Nagant retreated backwards as fast as she could as a spike came for her, firing off her bullets towards the forming spikes, breaking them down, but Kai was able to make more, and because of the closeness of them, Lady Nagant wasn't sure if she'd be able to take them all down.
One spike in particular, as Lady Nagant destroyed several up close and personal, managed to get by the barrel of her rifle, and shot for her body, Kai's spike neared her chest, going for her heart.
"Lady Nagant!"
Hawks was still in the air, managing to have dealt with most of the stone spikes, but saw Lady Nagant was about to be skewered. Despite her managing to shoot a few at a time. She still wasn't able to get the last one, and the bleeding Kai was wheezing, excited and angry at the same time.
Inches from her chest, Lady Nagant tried her best to get her gun to fire off at the base to break it down...when she saw something astonishing.
She saw cracks appear in the stone spike, which broke apart and crumbled down to the ground, mere inches from her chest, saving her from being skewered.
Both Kai and Lady Nagant were shocked, while Hawks saw Keita having arrived, panting as his hand was on the side of the building.
"Kei..."
Kai growled, while Lady Nagant took this chance to do more damage to Kai, firing and hit his shoulder, drawing some blood from him, as he erected spikes to appear all around him, repelling her, and forcing her to leap backwards.
She leapt off of the building, as Hawks arrived, using his feathers to create a bridge underneath her feet, keeping her in the air.
Lady Nagant looked down to the ground to see Keita stood there.
She was relieved to see he was fine.
She then looked back to see Kai, having fixed his wounds, and looked tired.
"Damn you two...thinking you can corrupt my brother! He'll never be safe with you!"
"Yeah, and he'll never be safe with you either."
Hawks commented, as Kai went to refute, when he saw another member of his group flying on a wing Quirk.
"Overhaul-sama, Heroes have been alerted! We need to leave!"
Kai didn't want to leave, looking down to the ground, to his brother as he made his way towards the edge.
He looked at Keita once more, who in turn looked right back up towards him with the same defiant eyes that he had beforehand.
He looked at Lady Nagant and Hawks, growling as he did so.
"I will be back, and next time, you're both dead, and I will be taking my brother with me. Kei being safe with you...what a joke. Only I can keep him safe."
With that, Kai leapt into the sky, with his jets, and grabbed the hand of the winged Quirk user. Then, using the jets, to propel them, they took off flying at high speeds.
Hawks went to chase him down, when they saw another winged man going for Keita, so he changed his direction, and shot downwards, seeing that Keita was being attacked by a thug on the ground already.
Lady Nagant looked at her gun, murmuring "Damn you Kai." as she tried to take a shot for him.
When she fired, Kai instead, caused the man to become a human shield, the bullet piercing right through his wing, which she would have hoped to have ended it, but Kai fixed it with his Overhaul Quirk.
Conversely, Hawks took out a feather blade, and cut through the winged Yakuza member, as Keita finished off the man attacking him.
Lady Nagant soon saw Kai vanish into the sky, causing her to feel regret on not being able to finish him off.
But, she was glad to see that Keita did something amazing that day, and faced his fears head on.
Later on, after all was said and done, they returned back to the base, with Keita going to his room to have sometime alone, which Lady Nagant understood perfectly, especially after the events that he went through.
Lady Nagant sat in the living room type area they had, while Hawks sat nearby.
The wounds that they had, Keita had fixed them rather quickly. They were grateful to have such a strong healer on their side, as otherwise the healing process could have been difficult, and they knew that they'd have to be in top performance, now that Kai had made a play for Keita.
"Poor Keita-kun, having to relive his experiences with Kai Chisaki, and he got away."
Lady Nagant couldn't focus on only that right away, thoughts began to shoot through her mind at what Kai had said, and her own gut instincts as well.
"Yeah...but he's tough, and he was able to protect himself...he even saved me."
Hawks inclined his head.
"Though Kai got away, we did manage to get a good few of those with him. Over ten people we captured, including those that were trying to keep other Heroes away. They're being interrogated as we speak, perhaps we can find a clue on where his base is, and what he's up too."
Lady Nagant hoped they would find something out.
Hawks then thought of something.
"Do you think he will make another play for Keita-kun?"
Lady Nagant nods.
"I am sure that he will, but now that his attempt failed, and he has lost men, the Yakuza have a hard time gathering people to their side as it is, and especially being on the run since they have a few good Heroes after them, Kai is going to be planning his next steps very carefully. Which means, we also have to be prepared for whatever it is that we are going to be up against. For now, and the near future, I highly doubt he will try anything, he simply wouldn't have the man power, or opportunity, especially seeing how Keita fended him off, he will have to be careful."
Lady Nagant said it in a way that made her feel strong, as she wanted to be, to protect Keita from what happened.
"Though, Keita-kun….he did very well. If it was me in his shoes...after experiencing that much from Kai, it really would be difficult. But personally, I think he did an outstanding job, and was able to repel Kai, and his group, while dealing with an internal situation. I'm glad, it seems his time here has helped him grow in confidence and strength."
Hawks said with a proud smile on his face, Lady Nagant nods strongly.
"Yes...but, it shouldn't have happened in the first place. Something went wrong, and he was placed in danger. He...didn't deserve that to happen to him. Being targeted...being subjected to such fears and pains...even then, he did something that many would find very difficult. Facing his fears, and he did so, taking them head on, it shows to me his strength of heart."
Lady Nagant felt strongly about it.
She couldn't get it out of her head, about how someone would do that to someone so sweet like Keita was.
It angered her.
But, she was also happy in a way, that Keita was strong enough to protect himself, that he wasn't going to bow down to anyone like Kai, and he would stand up for himself, and even managing to protect her, it was something that she admired, that she loved about how internally strong Keita's will was.
She then stood up, and began walking to the door.
"Going somewhere?"
"To check on Keita-kun, see if he needs anything or wants to talk."
Lady Nagant waved her hand, and left the room.
She walked out, and went in the direction of his bedroom.
As she did, she looked at the hallow halls, and thoughts continued to run through her head.
She thought of what had lead up to those circumstances, and why Keita was exposed to such dangers in the first place.
Where her thoughts brought her, she didn't like.
In fact, she was wishing that she didn't even think about it.
When she arrived at the place Keita was, she knocked on the door, and entered when hearing Keita's voice.
She saw Keita sat on his bed, her eyes could see how he was trying to process everything.
From the fact that he dealt with the likes of Kai Chisaki, to having experienced such a thing, she didn't know what he was thinking.
So she pulled closer, and closer, until she sat down beside him.
Not exchanging words at first, she simply placed her hand on top of his head, causing his eyes to go towards her own.
"Nagant-chan..."
"I am...I don't even know what to say. To be honest, Kai...appearing like that, I wished that it didn't happen...but, you fought valiantly, and managed to fend him off long enough for us to show up."
"He had multiple Quirks..."
Keita murmured, Lady Nagant nods a single time.
"Yes, he did. Though, I had a feeling by the end of the fight, it was beginning to vanish. So, I don't think they're permanent."
Keita thought the same thing, recalling seeing Katsukame shrinking and seeing the physical aspects of him decrease.
"Yes, it seems so. But knowing big brother, it will only be a matter of time before he comes back."
Lady Nagant couldn't help but think the same thing, she felt disturbed by what Kai would be able of doing in the future.
"Even if he has a thousand Quirks...you showed to him today, that he doesn't have that power over you."
He appreciated her words, and found them comforting.
"To be honest, I was scared...when seeing him, facing him. But...I was also, determined. I don't...I don't want to go back to that life anymore. But something else he said...he said someone sold me out...he knew I was there."
Lady Nagant recalled Kai saying that to her as well, and her thoughts didn't go to good places.
"...Yes, that's true. He also...said something like that to me."
Lady Nagant hated the bitter truth.
So right now, she decided to offer comfort, embracing the young man, who did the same thing right back.
Holding onto one another, she comfortingly petted the back of his head.
"You don't have to worry, I'd die before anyone ever took you away again."
"...I don't want you to die, Nagant-chan. I will become stronger...to defeat him."
Lady Nagant showed a kind smile.
"I know, you will show him your full power, today he got a taste of it, and it worried him, I know it did. Also, I am sorry that I couldn't take him down, now that I know he has multiple Quirks, I'll take that into consideration, and think of ways to get around any powers he could have. Of course, predicting them all would be difficult but..."
As she spoke, she saw him curled against her.
A traumatic experience for sure, coming face to face with someone that had caused him great pain over the years, Lady Nagant knew right now, it wasn't her job to be the Hero, it was her job to be someone that cared for him.
"Thank you for coming for me, Nagant-chan."
"I always will, no matter what."
"Me too, Nagant-chan. Whenever you need me...I will always do my best to help you."
Together, after that, they sat in silence.
Soon enough, he fell asleep against her shoulder.
Lady Nagant looked down at him, and breathed in sharply.
"The one person that could've done this...I can't believe it...no, I can believe it, but I wish it wasn't so. The President...you set this up the entire time...I always felt something was a bit strange, but now...I need to know the truth, for Keita-kun's sake. Did he contact Kai from the beginning? Did he use this as an opportunity for something? Was he intending to lure Kai out for some reason? Those people that were targeted who looked like Keita-kun...I have to know...and I have to protect Keita-kun...I can't allow that to happen again...I will have to confront the President, and if necessary...I will have to put a stop to him once and for all. Even if I have to take his life."
Lady Nagant felt her determination fuelling her.
Her desires to protect Keita strong within her being.
She thought about what Keita had gone through, and now, she couldn't allow the person who had one this to him to get away.
One way or another, she was going to put an end to this.
Meanwhile, in another part of Japan, having been explained to what happened, a certain man sat within his chair, and his hands clenched together ever so slightly.
Not in anger.
No, this was more of intrigue, and excitement.
"An amazing fight to be sure...what an interesting group that has been formed...thank you, for the entertainment, and the display of power. Young man, you impressed me very much, such a fine Quirk."
As the man thought it, he stood up tall, his black mask firmly attached to him.
Facing towards another individual in the room, an older man wearing a long white coat, all he said was "Its time." with the older man bowing and leaving the room.

So, this chapter had a few revelations, such as what Kai had been doing while experimenting on Keita, Keita himself standing up against Kai for the sake for himself and those he cared for, Kai revealing more about how he found Keita, and showed genuine concern for his little brother, in his own way, and Keita also revealing more about his past, with his relationship to Rappa, and how they interacted with one another, even if Rappa wasn't as open about how he felt, still showing signs of what he felt about Keita.
Then by the end, Lady Nagant had come to a conclusion on why this happened while Keita having his own thoughts about it, and now, she is out for the person that did this, so we shall see how that goes next time.
