Ticking chapter 3
Gwen was sitting in her seat in the library. Today, somebody pushed Duncan down a whole flight of stairs when Duncan and Geoff were trying to get Noah. Good thing if you ask me, Gwen thought. She was upset because Noah was an annoying smart guy. But why would people of her group do that? All of them liked Duncan. But what if that person was new? Just as she was getting ready to leave, she saw 2 people. A person in a black hooded shirt and another person in a yellow hooded shirt. The one in the yellow was talking about something.
The person in the yellow said "Dark, I did that. Duncan went flying down the stairs!"
Gwen overheard. She was angry. That boy did it to Duncan? But maybe he was wearing a reverse color shirt, one color on the outside, another color on the inside.
Dark said "What did you do then, Bright?"
Bright rolled their eyes before saying sarcastically "Well, Dark, I sat and waited for him so we could play checkers. What do you think I did?"
Dark said in a respecting voice "Wow, Bright, you did that?"
Bright said "100%.All me."
That was enough for Gwen to hear. Before they could talk, Gwen jumped out and grabbed Bright. Dark tackled her and before Gwen knew it, she woke up in her bed. Gwen was very confused.
Gwen said "What am I doing in bed? What time is it? 11:58 am? I should be in school!"
Meanwhile, a quiet girl with red hair with black streaks in her hair, wearing a orange T-shirt was outside Gwen's house, smiling triumphantly.
