"My head... I... I feel so empty..." Yukin opened his eyes and saw he was in a strange place. He was surrounded by darkness. He also spotted Drewsin, Huo, and Yuan; but all four of them were bound by some strange webbing. "Where...am I...?"

It wasn't looking good at all. Zeru has beaten almost everyone. His power seems to be too strong and appears to be limitless. The only one who was standing against him now was Renji. Of course, it wasn't going to be easy to beat him since he has his all-powerful Superior Fiend Mephistos and Superior Serapho.

"Yukin..." Zoey mumbled as she was worried. There just has to be a way to get the real Yukin back. Suddenly, she felt something tug at the back of her shirt. She turned around and was met with Ristly. "Wait. Aren't you..."

"Ristly?" Siri said.

"I have a plan to get Yukin back." Ristly said and Zoey was all ears.

"So, are you ready to meet your demise just like the others?" Zeru taunted.

"You haven't won anything yet, Zeru. It's my draw!" Renji said as he drew his cards. "To start my turn, I activate Portal of Space! This spell allows me to summon a level four or lower Dimensional monster from my deck, but I'll lose 1000LP come my standby phase! I summon Lamia!" He summoned out his serpent lady with her having 1200atk points. "Then, since I summoned a Dimensional monster, I can summon Dimensional Sphinx by lowering its attack points by 700!" He summoned out his living blue sphinx as it's attack points dropped from 2200 to 1500. "With that, I combine the forces of water with the forces of earth!" He had water came around his lamia with earth coming around his sphinx. The two of them merged together and became one. "I elemental summon a wood attribute! Arise, Dimensional Jungle Warrior Caradoc!" His elemental monster rose on the field as it remained in its throne chair covered in vines and flowers and had 3000atk points. "Of course, I'm not stopping there. I activate Double Dimension Portal! I must give away 2000LP on my next turn, but I can now summon two level four or lower monsters. I now summon Dimensional Poppy with Dimensional Imp!" Renji also summoned out a small purple creature with 300atk points and a red flower that had a feminine-like figure emerging from the lower in white armor. She had 1000atk points. "I now combine the forces of water with the forces of darkness!" Darkness came around his imp while water came around Poppy and the two came together. "I elemental summon an abyss attribute! I summon Dimensional Poison Warrior Safir!" He summoned out a second warrior as it emerged with 2600atk points.

"Two elemental summons in one turn? That's quite good." Siri said.

"Yeah, but he's going to take 3000 points of damage." Brui said.

"That's assuming Zeru will even give him a next turn." Rini said.

"It's fine." Ristly said. "Dimensional Poppy's special ability is that he can't take damage outside of battle as long as he banishes it from the graveyard."

"So, if Renji does get a next turn, he won't take damage as long as he banishes Dimensional Poppy on his next turn." Zoey said.

"Summoning out two elemental monsters like that would be impressive, but how can either of them help?" Zeru questioned.

"You'll find out soon enough." Renji said as he reached for a different card. "You see, I developed a few cards that cooperate with elemental monsters, not just elemental monsters themselves."

"Huh?" Zeru questioned.

"Watch! I activate Elemental Barrier!" Renji said as he activated another spell. "As long as I have two elemental monsters, I won't take any damage from battle!"

"So he set up a barrier where he won't take damage! That's why he summoned both of them!" Yokon said.

"Amazing... He must be a pro to pull off maneuvers like this on his first turn." Promin said.

"Yukin! I'm disappointed in you!" Renji called out. "You were the first one to elemental summon! You set the road, started the way for this new summoning! You might have found ways to use it, incorporate it with other summoning methods, you've moved so slow! You just sat around and let me progress it even further! On top of that, you're letting this demented fiend take control of you!"

"Yell all you want, but you're not getting your friend back!" Zeru said.

"Don't be so sure. Yukin is much stronger than you think." Renji said. "Yukin, I know you can hear me! You're a duelist with lots of potential! You have this unique ability to connect with others through your dueling and bring people together!" He held up the medallion and tried to get through to Yukin. "You looked to your father for strength and kept this medallion to find that strength! Look to it now!"

"Do you not understand?! Yukin is gone!" Zeru said. "Are you done with your turn yet?! I like to move on and finish this so I can take the world!"

"He is, and I'm the one up now." Zeru looked to his side and saw Ristly stepped forward and was ready to battle. Right when he got his duel disk ready, he fiddled with it and got a message to Renji.

"You can't be serious." Zeru said as he didn't think a child could take him. "You really think the likes of a child can take me?"

"I'm a lot stronger than you think." Ristly said as he made his move. "I activate the spell card: Binding Restraints! I have to take every card in my hand and remove it from play." He said as he took away all the cards in his hand. "In doing so, I can put the restraints on one of your monsters."

"On what?!" Zeru said as he didn't like the sound of that.

"I'm putting the chains down on your Superior Fiend Mephistos!" Ristly said. Chains came out of his card and coiled around Mephistos and tried to hold it down. "Now, as long as this spell remains on the field, Mephistos can't attack and all of it's special abilities are negated."

"Pretty crafty, but you got rid of every card in your hand!" Zeru said. "You don't have a way to fight back now! Besides, it's only a matter of time before I have a way to break those chains and free Mephistos again! I also have Serapho on the field!"

"That might be, but I'm not done yet, Zeru." Ristly claimed. "One of the cards that I banished from my hand was Tech Amp Spatial Deployment! When this card is banished, I can summon all tech amps that have been banished, and that's just what all my other cards were."

"What?! That would be four cards!" Zeru said as he's starting to see he underestimated Ristly.

"I'm now bringing back Tech Amp Tracker Wolf, Tech Amp Boost Chick, Tech Amp Racer Horse, and Tech Amp Jet Falcon!" Ristly said as he summoned out four of his monsters. "Now!" All four of his monsters leaped forward and latched on to Serapho.

"None of those monsters are strong enough to destroy Serapho!" Zeru said.

"They don't have to because they're not attacking. They just need to hold Serapho back." Ristly said. That's when Zeru realized it. Ristly isn't attacking, he's using the artificial reality the duel disks produce to try and keep his monsters pinned down.

"That gives me the chance to talk." Zoey said as she walked closer. She clearly wasn't afraid of Zeru. "Yukin, please wake up. You need to snap out of it."

"I keep telling you that he's gone!" Zeru said.

"He isn't. I can just feel it." Zoey said. "You claim Yukin's really a part of you, but I don't believe it. Yukin is nothing like you. He doesn't even look like you. Yukin's stronger, kinder, and all you're doing is wearing his body like some sort of suit of clothes, but the real Yukin is still in there. Yukin! You have to set yourself free!" Zeru didn't believe it, but Yukin really was in there...and he could hear her words shining through the dark.

"Yukin, you are stronger than Zeru!" Ristly called. "You freed Nitro City from living a life of oppression and unfairness! You started bringing back hope to Neon City! You even helped me! I feel like a stronger and braver person from seeing you in action! Your dueling has a great effect on people that. You're strong!"

"Yukin, we've known each other since we were children." Zoey said. "I know what you're capable of. I also know what you're like. You would never let this creep just take your body like this! Ever since your father disappeared, you've grown and gotten stronger! You never cared what others thought and you certainly wouldn't let those jerks have their way! You know what dueling is really about! So don't let Zeru use your body to bring harm through dueling! So, please come back to us, Yukin! Come back to me!" All of them wanted that as well. They all believe in Yukin. Zoey's and Ristly's words worked as Yukin was starting to fight back.

"I keep telling that it's pointless! Yukin is..." Zeru tried denying it all, but he suddenly felt something and it felt like something was stirring inside him.

"You heard the lady!" Renji said as he tossed the medallion and Zoey caught it.

"Yukin!" Zoey called as she jumped at Zeru and was able to get the medallion around him.

"Get off!" Zeru shouted as he pushed her away, but it was too late as something in Zeru woke up and he felt his head pounding as he gripped it.

"They're right!" Yukin called as he was taking control.

"What?! What is this?!" Zeru shouted as he was loosing control. The medallion was working and Yukin was beginning to fight back.

"This is my body! Get out!" Yukin demanded.

"No, you fool! You are me!" Zeru shouted, but Yukin was fighting as the darkness formed around the body and was being expelled.

"Get out! Get out of my body!" Yukin shouted as the darkness erupted right out of his body as all of them watch to see if it would work. It looks like it did as Drewsin, Huo, and Yuan were all blown out of the darkness.

"Huo/Drewsin!" Brui and Rini called as they both hurried over to them.

"What happened?" Drewsin asked as Brui helped him up.

"Did I crash or something?" Huo questioned. All three of them were a little foggy on the details, but Brui and Rini hugged their friends and were just glad they were back.

"What is going on?" Yuan said.

"Don't worry about it." Siri said. "What matters is that you guys are back."

"Hold on. I remember now." Drewsin said. "There was this Zeru... He... He..." Drewsin tried remembering, but some of it was still a blank.

"It's okay. It's all over." Brui said. As for Zoey, she watched as the darkness cleared away and saw the real Yukin was standing there with the medallion. Exhausted, he dropped to his knees.

"Yukin!" Zoey called as she hurried over to him. "Yukin, are you okay?!"

"Yeah. I'm me again." Yukin said as he was able to pull himself. Zoey felt such a relief that tears nearly fell from her eyes. She hugged Yukin as she was glad to have him back. All of them were glad to see that Yukin was back, as are the other boys. Without Zeru, it looks like all the dueling is over as Mephistos, Serapho, and all the other monsters simply vanished. It looks like everything is going to be just fine now as it all appeared to be over.

"It's not over." All of them were shocked to hear that voice. They all thought it was, but it clearly isn't. All of them looked into the sky and saw the unbelievable. Zeru was still around, but it looks like he has his own body now. All of them saw him floating in the air in the same body, but there was something different. Instead of a head, he had what looked like a void of nothingness while his face looked like two lights for eyes with a curving light for a mouth. It was almost like he was a faceless figure now.

"How? How is he still here?" Zoey said out of fear. They all thought he was finished, but Zeru is still somehow around.

"This isn't over yet. We can just start again. It's time to start the duel of oblivion!" Zeru claimed as he wants to continue on with his madness, but Yukin isn't going to let that happen.
