"Uh… senpai? What's this?" Mimi asked.

Back in the laboratory, Eudial was holding what appeared to be an egg.

"This should help restore your missing memory," Eudial explained.

"I see… but how?"

"Magic."

"Okay… but how?"

Eudial sighed.

"I'm starting to think you're not taking this seriously, Mimi. Here I am, trying to help you while asking nothing in return, just out of goodness from the bottom of my heart… and here you are, doubting me constantly."

She then put the egg away.

"Maybe you don't actually want to remember what you did to me," Eudial continued. "I should have known you weren't truthful when you said you wanted to earn my forgiveness…"

As Eudial started to walk away Mimi instinctively reached for her.

"W-wait, senpai…!"

Eudial grinned to herself before she became stoic as she turned back.

"What?"

"I… I'm sorry. I am taking this seriously! Please don't go!"

"You said you'd do anything and yet, you keep doubting me…"

"I'm not, I swear! I'll do it! I trust you! I'll do whatever it takes to regain my memory, I promise…!"

"And you will stop constantly asking me futile questions?"

"Yes! I won't ask questions anymore! I'll just do as you say. So please, don't leave me, senpai…!"

Eudial smirked internally. She pulled back the egg.

"Perfect! Then, we shall proceed. This egg contained some of your past 'essence' and could trigger your memory back."

"Oh… okay…"

Mimi didn't dare to ask any more questions, worried that she might offend her senpai again. Eudial then handed her the egg.

"You have to eat it. Swallow it whole," Eudial commanded.

"Huh!?"

"Come on, don't be afraid. It will be alright. You can trust me."

With some hesitation, Mimi put the egg in her mouth and swallowed it. She was surprised by how easily it went through her throat- she was expecting she'd choke on it. Eudial smiled.

"Good girl," she praised. "See, it wasn't so hard, wasn't it?"

Mimi shook her head.

"So… what now? I mean… I don't feel different. I'm still not remembering anything…"

"Patience. The egg still needs to hatch. And I may have the right thing to awaken it. Come with me."

Eudial led Mimi to a room with an altar. On it was three crystallized fragments. It felt like some were missing in order for them to form just one crystal.

"What are those…?" Mimi dared to ask.

"Magical shards," Eudial answered. "They are like… magic amplifiers. They might help trigger your memory back."

Eudial picked one of the fragments and handed it to Mimi.

"Here, give it a try. Focus on this shard and try to visualize your life force going into it."

"Oh… okay, I'll try…"

Mimi held the fragment tightly and closed her eyes, trying to do as Eudial said. But after a few minutes, nothing seemed to have happened.

"Uh… senpai… is there something that's supposed to happen…?"

"You still don't remember anything, do you?"

"I… no. I'm sorry, senpai…!"

Eudial sighed.

"I should have known it wouldn't work."

"Senpai…?"

"It's fine, it's my fault for expecting too much of you. I shouldn't have… overestimated you."

Somehow, this comment felt like a knife to the heart.

"Just keep trying, would you? Maybe you might succeed eventually."

"Y-Yes, senpai! I'll try until I get it right! Promise…!"

Eudial shrugged and left Mimi alone. As she walked in the corridor she spotted two figures lurking in the shadows.

"The egg was successfully implanted in the host but has yet to hatch," Eudial said. "I guess she'll need some more… motivation to awaken."

Tellu and Viluy came out from the shadow, grinning at the innuendo.

"That will be our pleasure," Tellu said.

"Just don't take it too far," Eudial warned. "We need her alive."

"Don't worry, we won't," Viluy reassured.

Eudial nodded and walked away.

"We don't take it too far…" Tellu began. "At least for now."

No matter how many times she tried, nothing had happening. Mimi had squeezed the fragment so tightly in desperation that it had started to pierce through her skin, leaving a light cut in her palm. A few droplets of blood dripped on the shard and somehow, Mimi hoped it would do something- but nothing. Except her hand hurting and blood splattered on the fragment.

"Ugh… it's pointless! I can't do it!"

Mimi was tempted to just throw the shard away in frustration but couldn't. Her senpai gave it to her. Eudial was expecting results from her. She was counting on her.

"I'm sorry, senpai… you're trying to help me regain my memory after I hurt you, and yet I keep failing…"

Mimi curled up, holding the fragment in both hands.

"If I can't succeed, senpai will give up on me…"

Upon this thought, Mimi shed a few tears.

"My my, Mimi, what's the matter? You look sad," a voice suddenly said.

"Maybe we can help," another voice proposed.

Mimi raised her head, wiping off her tears, and saw Tellu and Viluy approaching. They weren't wearing their usual witch outfit but instead, lab coats. Both of them also wore a pair of glasses- Tellu oval-framed one, while Viluy's had thick frames.

"Y-you…!?"

Mimi instinctively recoiled, putting the shard in her pocket.

"There's no need to be afraid, we're just here to help," Tellu said in a reassuring voice.

"We're in the same team, and we want the same thing after all," Viluy added.

"We want… the same thing…?" Mimi asked, doubtful.

"Yes. We also want you to recover your memory- as soon as possible," Tellu replied.

"And we might be able to help you trigger it," Viluy said.

Despite not trusting them, Mimi was desperate to gain back her memory, at any cost. And if Eudial trusted them, then it was good enough for her.

"Alright. If you can help me, then do it…!"

Mimi barely had the time to see Tellu and Viluy exchange a grin as they removed their lab coats, now wearing their witch outfits.

"Mandragora Buster!"

Tellu had conjured multiple vines that swing at Mimi, hitting her and sending her to the ground.

"Ouch…! What was that for…!?"

Before Mimi could even get back on her feet Viluy suddenly appeared behind her, hitting her hard in the back with her witch staff.

"Argh…!"

"We told you, didn't we? We're here to help you recover your memories," Viluy sneered.

"You might have forgotten who you were, but your body probably didn't," Tellu added. "You just need a little motivation!"

Tellu's vine grabbed Mimi by the ankle and suddenly lifted her in the air.

"Ahhh…! Please, stop! I don't need your help anymore, just let me go…!"

"Haha, that's too late for that! We're going to help you whether you want it or not!" Tellu exclaimed before slamming Mimi into the wall.

"Ack!"

Mimi collapsed to the ground, inert.

"Come on Mimete, this isn't enough to knock you out!" Tellu let out. "Get up already!"

Mimi remained irresponsible on the floor.

"... Mimete?"

"Yeah, I don't think a human can handle well being slammed into a wall like that," Viluy said.

"How was I supposed to know? I thought she'd still be sturdier than a regular human!"

"Seems like she didn't just lose her memory, but whatever made her superior to a normal human."

Viluy then shrugged.

"Eudial won't be happy about that."

"H-hey! I didn't take it too far, okay!? It's not like I killed her! Eudial just said we needed her alive, not whole!" Tellu protested.

"I couldn't care less about what Eudial wants. But we do need Mimete in order to rebuild the Taioron Crystal…"

"... And get revenge on those unsightly Sailor Senshi!"

Viluy chuckled at that.

"Sure. And then, world domination on those inferior humans!" Viluy added.

The two witches laughed it off until they realized that something was missing- or rather, someone.

Mimi was gone.

"Shit…! So I didn't knock her out! And she escaped while we were distracted!"

"Great, now we have to chase her down. Eudial surely won't be happy about that…"

"She doesn't need to know if we capture back Mimi before she noticed," Tellu said.

Viluy nodded. "Let's go!"

"Is it here?" Venus asked, looking at the wood.

Wearing her senshi goggles, Mercury nodded.

"This is where the daimonic energy was detected. And I can see a daimon aura with my visor, but it's very faint."

"They might still be far away then," Mars hypothesized.

"Then let's go find them!" Jupiter exclaimed.

"Yes, there's no time to lose!" Sailor Moon agreed.

The senshi ventured into the woods, looking for any daimons- more specifically, witches. But as soon as they stepped in they heard a distressed voice.

"Please, somebody help me!"

"That voice…!?" Venus exclaimed. "It sounds like…"

The senshi of love immediately rushed towards the voice and confirmed her suspicion.

"Hanyuu-san!?"

Mimi came out from the bushed, bruised and battered. She immediately collapsed, Venus catching her before she could hit the ground.

"Hanyuu-san?!" Venus called.

"P-Please…save me… they are after me…!"

"Who's after you, Hanyuu-san?"

Mimi suddenly got tensed and jolted away.

"How… how do you know my name?" Mimi asked, wary.

"Right… you don't remember that I'm Sailor Venus. You don't need to be worried, I'm your friend."

"My… friend?"

"Yes. It's me, Aino Minako."

"A-Aino-san!?"

"Hey, Venus…!" Mars warned.

"It's alright. I trust Hanyuu-san."

"No, that's not what I mean… the faint daimon aura Mercury was talking about, it wasn't because they were far away… it was just weak," Mars explained. "And it's coming from her!"

"... Huh?"

Venus now stared down at Mimi in disbelief.

"Hanyuu-san..? No… Mimete!?"

Mimi started to recoil.

"W-What…? Aino-san, what are you talking about…? Why are you… calling me 'Mimete' too… just like those two who attacked me!"

Mercury reactivated her goggle.

"That's right, I can see it… just like Teruno-san, Hanyuu-san has this ominous masse in her body- a daimon egg!"

The inners immediately went on the defensive. Mimi looked on the verge of panicking.

"What are you people talking about!?"

"C-calm down, Hanyuu-san…!" Venus tried to comfort her before turning to her comrades. "We have to stop stressing her out! Otherwise, this is going to end just like Teruno-san…"

"Teruno-san…? Are you guys responsible for why Teruno-san turned weird!?" Mimi let out. "You want to do the same to me!?"

"Please, Hanyuu-san, calm down-"

"Stay away from me!"

Mimi suddenly pushed Venus away.

"Venus!" Sailor Moon exclaimed.

"Mercury, did the egg hatch?" Mars asked.

"Not yet, but there's definitely a faint dark aura coming from it…"

"That's not good… she's going to end up like Teruno-san if it keeps going," Jupiter commented.

"Girls, stop!" Venus pleaded. "You're not helping!"

"So you are responsible for how Teruno-san ended! Senpai was right, you people weren't honest with me… you kept stuff from me, didn't you? About who I truly am!?" Mimi yelled.

"Listen, Hanyuu-san, this was for your own good-" Mercury tried to explain.

"So you admit! I have no interest in listening to the words of a bunch of liars!"

"Sailor Moon, this is going nowhere… you have to purify her immediately before she can revert to her former self!" Mars commanded.

With some hesitation, Sailor Moon pulled out her rod. Mimi immediately recoiled.

"You… you want to prevent me from remembering, don't you? You want to keep me amnesiac and ignorant of who I am…!"

"It's not what you think-" Venus tried to explain.

"Liar! Stay away from me!"

Mimi suddenly threw a rock at Sailor Moon, making her drop her weapon.

"Ouch…!"

"Sailor Moon!"

While they were distracted, Mimi immediately ran away back into the woods.

"Oh no, she's running away!" Mercury exclaimed.

"We can't let her escape. Her egg might hatch at any moment!" Jupiter added, running after her.

"Hanyuu-san, wait!" Venus ran too.

The others exchanged a glance before venturing into the woods too.

"There you are, Mimete."

Mimi flinched and nearly tripped on a root. Viluy and Tellu suddenly came out from behind a tree, surrounding her.

"Just be a good girl and come back with us obediently, that'd be better for you," Tellu said.

"It would be better for all of us," Viluy added.

"As if! You two are mean!"

"Aww, don't say that. We were just trying to help you," Tellu replied with a smirk.

"But you're making things harder for us," Viluy continued.

"That's your fault for attacking me! I don't need your help anymore-"

As Mimi tried to run away, the roots suddenly grew and captured her.

"Ahhh….!"

"Not so fast," Tellu said. "We're kind of tired to play hide and seek with you, so let's cut to the chase shall we? It's time we put an end to this ridiculous farce."

Mimi struggled, trying to break free from the roots, in vain.

"What… what are you going to do to me…?"

Tellu grinned.

"We will give you a choice. You either awake as Mimete already and stop wasting our time… or die."

"Teruno-san… even if you ask me that, there's no way I can just remember what I have forgotten like that!"

"Tsk, again with that name…" Tellu said, annoyed.

Using her control over the roots, Tellu suddenly lifted Mimi above a ravine.

"W-what… what are you doing…!" Mimi let out, terrified.

"Last chance. Go back to being Mimete, or else…"

"I told you, I can't-"

"Then if that's so, you can just die already!"

Without warning, the roots let go of Mimi, who immediately fell.

"Aaaahhhhhh!"

Tellu looked down as Mimi disappeared into the ravine, smirking with satisfaction.

"Do you think this was 'taking it too far'?" Tellu sneered.

"What are you going to do if she actually dies from the fall?" Viluy asked.

"It can't… her survival instinct should kick in and make her revert back to Mimete…"

"But what if she doesn't?"

"She's worst than a cockroach, wouldn't die that easily… right?"

Tellu was starting to doubt herself and be worried.

"Maybe we should go check on her."

"That sounds like a good idea," Viluy concurred.

But before they could even take one step, a car suddenly came out from the bushes.

"You idiots! I told I needed her alive!"

This was Eudial's voice coming out from the car. She suddenly drove right into the ravine, much to her companions' confusion.

"What is she doing!? Does she have a death wish!?" Tellu exclaimed.

"No way…"

Eudial's car reached Mimi in the fall and the fire witch opened the door.

"Mimi!"

Eudial managed to grab Mimi's hand before pulling out a specific lever. Then, much to everyone's surprise, a parachute came out from the top of the car, slowing down the fall.

"Woah… I didn't know her car could do that…" Tellu commented.

"After what happened last time, it makes sense she'd updated it in case of fall," VIluy said.

Eudial still hold on to Mimi while her station wagon slowly reached the ground safely.

"Mimi! Are you alright…?"

Mimi immediately jumped on Eudial and clung to her.

"Senpai! They tried to kill me! I was so scared…! And there were those other girls too who attacked me…!"

"H-Hey, calm down, Mimi… everything is alright now. They won't hurt you anymore. I'll protect you."

"Do you… really mean that?"

"Yes. Didn't I just save you right now? You can trust me."

"S-senpai…!"

Eudial helped her to get up, quickly glancing at the top of the ravine.

"Those two…" she muttered.

"Crescent Beam!"

Eudial was suddenly hit by a ray of light and sent to the ground.

"Senpai!?"

The inner senshi made their apparition, led by Sailor Venus.

"Hanyuu-san! Stay away from her!"

As Venus was about to attack Eudial once again, Mimi stood in front of her.

"Don't hurt senpai!"

"H-Hanyuu-san…? Isn't she the one who was attacking you…?"

"You're the one attacking me! And now you hurt senpai!"

"Senpai…?" Venus mumbled.

"You mustn't trust her! She's deceiving you!" Mercury exclaimed.

"You're the one who deceived me!" Mimi retorted. "You lied to me and hid my true self from me!"

"That's right," Eudial said as she stood up. "Those people fed you lies, but I was always honest with you. Only I had the decency to tell you the truth about yourself."

"What are you saying… Hanyuu-san, don't listen to her! She's manipulating you! She only wants to use you!" Venus said.

"What are you saying…! This can't be true…!"

"Don't listen to them! They want to keep you ignorant and shelter you from your sins, but only I can bring you salvation!"

"Hanyuu-san…!"

"Mimi!"

"Ugh… sorry, Aino-san. But you kept things from me, and myself… senpai is the only one who has been honest with me" I trust her…!"

"It can't be…!" Venus mumbled.

Eudial grinned.

"You better believe it. Mimi made her choice. So you better respect it…"

"As if!" Jupiter exclaimed, grabbing Mimi's wrist, pulling her. "I don't care, you're coming with us…!"

"N-No…! I don't want to…!"

Jupiter suddenly got violently kicked down by Eudial and sent flying down to the ground.

"Jupiter!?" Sailor Moon exclaimed.

"She said no. Don't you know what consent means?" Eudial sneered.

"Urgh…! You…!"

"Death Bloomer!"

Tellu had suddenly appeared, casting a torrent of deadly flowers toward Jupiter.

"Argh…!"

"Tellu…" Eudial mumbled.

"Eudial… about what happened-"

"We will talk about that later. We have to leave."

"As if we will let you! Burning-"

"Death Freezer!"

It was Viluy's turn to appear, conjuring a powerful freezing gust that paralyzed the senshi.

"Kyaaa….! That's cold…!"

"You two, in the car, now!" Eudial ordered.

She then turned to Mimi.

"You too."

"Huh… whoa…!?"

Eudial had shoved Mimi into the passenger seat while she took place behind the wheel, driving away back to their hideout.

"Hanyuu-san!" Venus called out.

But it was in vain. The car was far away, vanished, with in it Mimi.
