"Mars Flame Sniper!"

"Fire Buster!"

The two fiery attacks collided with one another and a blast followed. The senshi quickly moved away to avoid the blow, and so did Eudial.

"Give up, Arimura-san! You should know this is all pointless! What are you even trying to accomplish!?" Mars exclaimed.

"That's none of your business!" Eudial replied.

"You have your human heart back! Can't you see how wrong this is?" Saturn insisted.

"Shut up! I did nothing wrong! Everything I did is righteous, and I'll make you all regret ever standing in my way!"

"That would be my line! I'll make you pay for manipulation and taking advantage of Hanyuu-san!" Venus let out.

Eudial sneered bitterly at that comment.

"Of course. Hanyuu-san this, Hanyuu-san that! You're so concerned with that two-faced bitch, huh!? Why can't you just give up on her already!?"

"We could be asking you the same thing," Saturn suddenly said.

Eudial lowered her staff for a moment.

"... what…?"

"You're the one who's concerned about Hanyuu-san, aren't you? You're the one who can't give up on her, and you are just trying to convince yourself you don't care about her," Saturn insisted. "Deep down, you feel guilty for using her, don't you? You regret your actions, but you feel like it's too late to go back. But it's not! You can still stop, Arimura-san!"

"You…"

Eudial clenched her hand around her staff.

"Argh! Screw you! I don't care about Mimete! I despise that brat! Stop acting as if you understand me! Just die already, you damn nuisance! Fire-"

"Venus Love Me Chain!"

Before Eudial could launch her attack, Venus captured her in her chain made of pure light energy that wrapped around her arms and torso.

"Ugh…!"

Eudial stumbled to her knees, dropping her staff. When she raised her head, she was welcomed by Saturn's Glaive pointing right at her face.

"It's over, Arimura-san. Don't make it harder than it needs to be," Saturn warned.

Eudial looked furious for a moment before she suddenly started to grin in a sinister way.

"Haha, that's what you think…"

"What could you possibly do in your situation!?" Venus exclaimed.

"Me? Nothing. But her…"

"Huh?"

"Mandragora Buster!"

Multiple vines suddenly came from behind them, capturing Mars, Venus and Saturn.

"Ahhh! What the…!?" Venus cried out.

The light chain dissipated and Eudial was free. She immediately reached for her staff as she got back to her feet, staring at the captured senshi with a smirk.

"See? I told you so," Eudial sneered.

"Good thing I arrived just in time to save your ass," Tellu said.

"Hmm, yes. It's very appreciated. Thank you, Tellu."

Tellu smiled at that.

"The pleasure was mine. It's always a delight to trap those senshi like the bugs they are."

As she said that, Tellu clenched her fist, and the vines became tighter around the senshi.

"Argh!"

"Where's Viluy?" Eudial asked.

"I don't know, probably still wandering around," Tellu replied. "We got separated after the room collapsed. What about Mimete?"

"Don't worry about her. I got that covered. Now if you'd excuse me, would you mind keeping those nuisances busy until I'm done configuring my machine?"

"Hm?" Uh, sure, I guess…"

"Thanks."

Eudial didn't lose any more time and walked to her device, starting to type on it. The senshi tried to struggle in the vines to break free, in vain.

"You don't have to do what she tells you to!" Saturn let out. "You're not just her lap dog!"

As a response to her comment, Tellu made the vine even tighter around Saturn, who let out a painful cry.

"Who asked you for your opinion, you little runt!?" Tellu let out. "I'm not doing this because she tells me to, but because I want to! I want revenge against all the likes of you!"

"I'm almost finished!" Eudial said. "I just got to do this and that… done!"

Eudial pressed one last button and suddenly, a magnetic force field appeared right in front of the senshi, separating them from the two witches.

"Woah, a force field!?" Tellu exclaimed.

"Yes, that should prevent the other pests from bothering us," Eudial replied. "And as a bonus, it's electrified."

Eudial then grinned.

"How about we test it on those rats…"

Tellu grinned back.

"I would love to."

As the senshi feared the worst, two lights suddenly emanate from Eudial and Tellu, a red and a green one respectively. They both reached into their pockets and pulled out a crystal resembling the Taioron Crystal, but one was red and the other was green. They were still shining bright.

"Uh, Eudial… why are they doing that? Tellu asked, confused.

"Right, you were the last one to create your amulet so you never witnessed this," Eudial began. "This is what happens when another fragment gets re-ignited."

"So this means… Mimete finally awakened and created her amulet!?"

"Yes, it seems like she did."

"Well, talk about time! At last, she did what she was useful for! We can finally dispose of this worthless waste of space. Right, Eudial?"

"Hm, indeed, I have all the amulets I needed for now. It's time to dispose of what has become obsolete…"

Eudial suddenly raised her staff, stepping towards her companion. Tellu didn't even have time to react when Eudial suddenly swung her staff at her, hitting her in the back.

"Urgh!"

Tellu staggered on the impact and hit the force field. The vines disappeared, freeing the senshi. Unfortunately, they remained on the other side of the barrier.

"Arrrghhh!"

Tellu's body jolted away from the electrified barrier, propelled to the ground. Her body was still convulsing violently. The inners looked horrified by what they had just witnessed.

"Teruno-san!" Saturn exclaimed.

"She… she attacked her own ally…!?" Venus said.

"How awful!" Mars let out.

They wanted to intervene, but with the electrified force field, it was too dangerous to try anything.

"Urgh…agh…."

Tellu crawled on the ground, trying to stand up. But her body must have been weakened by the strong electric discharge, so the best she managed to accomplish was to drag herself to her knees. She was still shivering.

"Oh, wow. We daimons really are sturdy, huh," Eudial said. "Here I thought the electric charge would be strong enough to kill you."

"K-kill me…!?"

Tellu's voice broke. Weakly, she raised her head, but her eyes couldn't look at her so-called companion.

"W-why… Eudial, why…!?"

Eudial signed.

"You know why. Don't go play innocent on me now. You were going to betray me sooner or later, I know it."

"W-what…? N-no..! I would never-"

"Don't play that game with me! I know you helped Mimete sabotage my car! I heard you! All of you! You were speaking ill of me behind my back with Mimete, calling me a failure and wishing for my demise! You were all in league with her, I know it! All of you were guilty!"

"N-No, I wasn't…! I swear, I had nothing to do with it…! Mimete did that on her own…! Why get rid of me… instead of her!?"

"Oh, don't you worry, her time will come too. No one will be spared from my wrath. Everyone who has wronged me will taste my vengeance!"

As Tellu fell on all four, Eudial slipped the tip of her staff under her chin.

"Starting with you…"

Finally, Tellu looked at Eudial.

"I never wronged you!" Tellu cried out. "I was always on your side!"

"Liar! I heard you, gossiping with the others!"

"That was… I was just trying to blend in…! I didn't say anything bad about you per se… I swear, I had nothing to do with what happened to you! I was sad when I thought you died! I even put a commemorative picture on your locker, with flowers, and I got rid of Mimete, with your own invention…"

"Save your breath. I know you just saw an opportunity and took it. Have some dignity and accept your punishment."

Tellu looked utterly hopeless, lowering her head in despair. Eudial smirked, raising her staff.

"Any last words?" she asked.

"Yes… did you… always plan to get rid of me in the end?"

"Hm? Of course! I only needed you for your amulet. I kept you around only as a meat shield against the senshi until Mimete made her own amulet. But now that it's done, I don't need you anymore."

Tellu stayed quiet for a second before she suddenly sighed.

"I see," she simply replied, stoic.

"That's horrible!" Mars exclaimed.

"You're awful!" Venus added. "How dare you…!"

"You, shut up!" Eudial let out. "Just wait your turn."

She then looked down at Tellu.

"Now, where was I…"

"May I say one more thing?" Tellu suddenly said.

"Eh? Er, sure. But be quick, will you? I don't have all day."

"What Mimete did to you… was awful. It was unforgivable, and you have every right to want revenge against her. You might not believe me, but I really have nothing to do with this. I genuinely appreciated you, you know? And I believed in you…"

"Empty flatteries won't get you anywhere…"

"I'm not done…! That wasn't the point! Yes, what Mimete did to you was wrong, but… she only killed you…"

"... Excuse me?"

"I mean, 'attempted' to kill you. Which was bad, of course. But you, you don't just intend to kill me… I was already dead. You brought me back to life to use me and manipulate me, only to get rid of me when I was of no use to you… giving life only to take it away later… that's far more callous than simply murdering someone…"

Tellu suddenly looked up, glaring at Eudial with a cold, gloomy stare.

"You're no better than Mimete…! No, you're worse than her! At least she didn't bring you back to life just to kill you again!"

Eudial looked flabbergasted by what Tellu had just told her. For a moment she seemed unable to reply. She then stared back, fury in her eyes.

"Shut up! Don't you dare compare me to Mimete-"

"Oh, but you are acting quite alike! Vicious, callous, selfish, deceptive, self-righteous… you've become the thing you claim to hate!"

"I'm nothing like her!"

"You're right, you're worse! You betrayed me, you stabbed me in the back…"

"Shut up…!"

"I had faith in you! I believed you! I was actually loyal to you, and this is how you thanked me, by toying with my heart before crushing it…"

"I said SHUT UP!"

Eudial swung her staff and hit Tellu on the head, making her collapse to the ground. She then proceeded to straddle her, pressing her staff on her throat to choke her.

"Stop saying I'm like Mimete! What I'm doing is right! I can't have been wrong! It has to be! You have to have been plotting with Mimete to sabotage my car! I can't have been mistaken, I won't allow it! I am righteous!"

Tellu was gasping under her, desperate for air. The senshi were watching helplessly behind the force field.

"Eudial, stop! You're gonna kill her!" Mars exclaimed.

"Please, stop!" Saturn pleaded.

But it was as if Eudial couldn't hear them. She was overwhelmed by pure rage, unable to contain it. All she wanted was to silence Tellu for good.

"A…Arimura…senpai… please… stop…" Tellu managed to whisper.

An image of Teruno Lulu flashed in her mind for a brief instant.

"...Teruno…san…?"

Eudial's grip on her staff became progressively weaker until she let go of Tellu's neck. The latter remained inert. Eudial felt a sentiment of panic arising within herself.

"What… what have I done…?"

Eudial's voice was cracking.

"N-No, this can't be… what have I become… this isn't me…!"

As Eudial continued to be horrified by what she had done, Mercury, Neptune and Sailor Moon suddenly arrived, seeming confused by what was going on. Mars jumped in front of Sailor Moon before she could reach the barrier.

"Mars!?"

"Don't! There's a deadly force field that can electrocute you!" Mars warned.

Sailor Moon immediately recoiled, keeping a safe distance from the force field.

"What's going on here?" Neptune asked.

"Eudial snapped and tried to kill Tellu," Venus replied.

"Her own ally!?" Sailor Moon exclaimed.

"Hm, I don't find that surprising," Neptune commented. "Have you seen the others?"

"No, we did see Hanyuu-san, but she escaped," Venus replied. "What about you?"

"We met Viluy, but I healed her, so she shouldn't be a problem anymore," Sailor Moon said.

"Oh, wow. Then I guess you can do the same for these two," Venus said. "If only there wasn't this damn barrier…"

"Maybe I can try to find its weak spot," Mercury proposed, activating her goggle and pulling out her mini-computer.

"Alright, that's worth the shot," Mars nodded.

Saturn looked back at Eudial, who seemed to be in a state of shock, still on top of Tellu. The latter seemed unconscious.

"S-Senpai… what… what's going on…? Did you… did you hurt her!?"

Venus gasped in shock.

"No, this can't be… Hanyuu-san… she's back to being Mimete!"

This was quite the worst timing for Mimete to show up. Eudial snapped out of her trance and stood up, firmly holding her staff.

"There you are, Mimete…"

Then, out of the blue, Eudial burst into a truly deranged laugh, so disturbing that it would send anyone hearing it chills down their spines.

"...uh… senpai…?"

Just as sudden as her laughter was, Eudial stopped abruptly. Her expression had turned stoic and her eyes empty.

"Right. This all started because of you. This was all about you after all… Tellu didn't deserve this."

"Eh…?"

Eudial's expression then turned furious.

"You're the only one who's deserving of my revenge, Mimete!"
