"He's right, this needs to end and I don't know what the right choice is here," Michiru admitted and Aya turned around to face us with a look of guilt.

"Michiru, Doug..." Aya trailed off when somebody suddenly ran up to grab her, prompting me to pull out my gun and aim at him as Aya let out a startled yell.

"So, you're talking to beastmen, Aya? That's okay, this actually works in our favor," the man declared while his arm was around Aya's neck and he held a spray bottle in his other hand, no doubt filled with that chemical that can mask a human's scent so this guy must be a human.

"Listen to me, let her go now or I will open fire, understand? I'm a faster shot and have a very good aim so unless you want to have a bullet drilled right between your eyes, then you'll drop the spray bottle and let her go," I warned while keeping my gun trained at the man's head.

"You really think I'm going to do what you say? I have a hostage so drop the gun or I'll break her neck," the man threatened as he started putting pressure on Aya's neck.

"Looks like you're the one who fell into a trap and who knows, maybe you're the one who's already surrounded," Michiru remarked while pulling out a familiar strip that identifies a beastman and the man widened his eyes in shock while standing up and gripping his bloody shoulder.
