" Following Tyber's associate, I was taken down to the surface of Saleucami. I fully expected to be taken to the stolen Acclamator but these pirates were something else. As soon as the transport landed on the surface, I tasted the planet's air. Dry and horrid. What was to be in store for me, I had no idea. "

As soon as the transport made landfall, Dare exited with her weapon in hand, her helmet attached to the belt around her waist. It was a cloudy planetary afternoon, the sun's rays graced the semi grassy landscapes of Saleucami.

"So, why are we here?"

"You are here because we want to observe your skills in person."

That puzzled Dare for a moment as she looked towards Urai, clutching the grip of her weapon.

"I thought Tyber was aware of my reputation as he stated on the holo."

"He wishes a demonstration that can only be provided by visual representation. There is a group of old Separatist Commando Droids operating on the planet, attacking Zann Consortium defilers."

"And that's my problem, why?"

Urai was close to slicing her up there and then, until his communicator buzzed. He opened it up and patched Dare into the network, to which she would then hear his voice.

"Because I believe Lord Vader has been getting reports of CIS remnants popping up across the Galaxy."

"Tyber. That's classified information, how did you-"

"Know? My defilers are excellent espionage agents. Now, you're going to do what I ask and shut down this Commando facility, for the betterment of the Galaxy. And in return, I will give you a shuttle to return back to your master."

"...I want to be paid in compensation for the soldiers and ship your associate destroyed."

"Deal. Urai, give her the coordinates."

Urai Fen walked over to Dare and placed a tracker into one of her hands. When she pulled it out, it showcased a map of the area, which pointed towards a nearby mountain.

"Take the speeder-bike that's in the transport, and head to the objective. I will have more for you later if you survive."

Then Urai walked into the transport and drove out in an old Republic Speederbike, laying it on the floor before boarding the transport and taking off, leaving her there.

"Good luck, Commando."

Then Tyber cut off Communications as the ship entered orbit. Dare pondered for a moment what her next move would be. She was just given a form of transport to reach her objective, but could she really trust a band of Underworld Thugs? For now though, she had no choice. Dare doubted that there was to be another ship on the planet, so she got onto the bike and shot herself towards the location of the Commando facility.

From her experiences in the 501st during the Clone Wars, Droid Commando Units were incredibly difficult to take down. They were as fearsome as her if not more brutal due to not being made of flesh. She once knew a trooper in the legion who had an unfortunate encounter with one, and had his head crushed under his helmet. It was a horrific way to go out during a fight, and even thinking about it made her impulse gag.

But she wasn't like any other troopers. She had skills of her own. A few minutes had passed and she made it to the mountain in question; an opening revealed construction as a few Commando Droids were patrolling the perimeter. Pulling out a pair of Binoculars, she scoped out the area. There was a vent protruding from the cliff-face, that was only guarded by one Commando underneath. That was to be her ideal entry point.

Sneaking around the outlying trees, she eavesdropped on a few Commandos talking.

Droid 1: "Did you read the reports?"

Droid 2: "Pirates and Corellian fleets engaging in orbit?"

Droid 1: "What do you think they're doing up there?"

Droid 3: "Quit the chatter and keep patrolling. We saw a ship touch down not far from here."

This made Dare pause herself for a moment. They knew about the ship. They must of detected it and are aware of what's going on, but it doesn't seem like they know much after the fact.

Droid 3: "Continue your patrol."

Droid 1 & 2: "Affirmative."

Dare: "(They're aware of it. I must act quickly before I'm spotted.)"

Sneaking around towards the vent, the Commando droid there scoped out the area. Using this as an opportunity, Dare reached to the floor and grabbed a small rock. There, she threw it towards a near tree which caused the droid to move to investigate. With an opening presented, Dare started to climb the cliff-face and entered the vent after removing the barring.

The vent was cramped and hardly any space. Even prone crawling through the piping, she felt constricted with her movement. She also had to be careful. Every so often she would stop moving once she spotted a Droid Patrol underneath one of the openings, ensuring she wouldn't be detected.

After a short journey, she opened a vent door slowly and dropped into what was the main control center. Accessing the central terminal, Dare inputted the deactivation codes that she used in the past to shut down a similar facility on Ryloth. Punching the codes in, the facility grinded to a halt and all the Commando Droids in the area went offline; standing still like lifeless husks. Reaching to the communication device imprinted into her ear, she attempted to make contact with Tyber.

"There. I got your facility disabled."

No response, only static.

"Tyber Zann, do you copy?"

Still no response.

"Damn Clankers."

Dare swore as she started to make her way out of the facility. As soon as she exited via the main door, she bore witness to an invasion. In the skies were several Star Destroyers which appeared to be bombarding a nearby village. TIE Fighters were dogfighting with strange fighter models which appeared to be Naboo Starfighters in design, but with different decals and colour schemes.

Taking the opportunity, Dare attempted to make contact.

"This is CC... No, IC-3275 Dare of the 501st Legion, does anyone copy?"

"IC-3275, this is the Star Destroyer Disciple. State your reasonings for being in this system."

"Orders from Lord Vader, sir. I was to investigate the pirate presence in this system, but my ship was destroyed and all my men were killed. Requesting a pickup."

"Affirmative, 3275. Shuttle on route. Hold your position."

Sure enough, an Imperial Dropship Transport or IDT flew towards her position. Similar in design to the LAAT Gunship, it landed in front of her and opened one of the side hatches, revealing a Field Commander on the inside.

"Hop in, Commando."

Dare stepped onto the transport and watched as they took off. She was duty bound to return into Imperial Custody once more.

" As I made my way to the Disciple, a singular thought remained in my mind. Why was I unable to communicate with Tyber Zann? Was Communications jammed or was it a one-way window that he terminated as soon as I made my move? Regardless. Imperial Forces were attacking Saleucami, and they answered my evac. But I wonder why they were even here... "
