Pinkie's Backstory

( Back In The Theater )

Rarity { Wondering Because They Hadn't Really Thought About What Order They Were Going In }: "Well, whose backstory should we watch next, darlings?"

Rainbow Dash { Speaking While Turning To Applejack Not Wanting To Hurt Her Feelings }: "Well, after that one I think we all need a little cheery moment, no offense AJ,".

Applejack { Wondering Whose Backstory Is Happy Enough To Be Shared }: "None taken. And Ah agree, but whose backstory is happy enough?"

Pinkie Pie { Getting Excited To Share Her Story With Her Friends }: "Well, I could share the story of me and my family!"

Rarity { Agreeing }: "Why it would be interesting to see what your family life was like before meeting us, darling,".

Pinkie { Cheering While Grabbing Her Remote }: "Alright, here we go!"

Pinkie grabs her remote control and resumes the movie…

( Back In The Movie )

Once again the camera zooms to another location. It's another farm with trees but also rocks surrounding it. We see a couple of earth ponies working the farm with three of their four fillies.

One Earth Pony is a moderate amber stallion with a medium and light gray mane and tail, brilliant amber eyes, and his cutie mark is a pickaxe.

The next Earth Pony is a light cobalt bluish gray mare with a grayish opal mane and tail, light arctic blue eyes, and her cutie mark is of three rocks.

The adult outfits they are wearing are quite simple and plain. In fact, they look like something you would have a couple of centuries ago instead of today.

Three of their fillies are helping around the rock farm as well.

The oldest of their fillies is a bluish-gray filly with an opalish gray mane and tail, and her eyes were a light apple green color. This filly is Limestone Pie, Pinkie's oldest sister.

The next filly is Persian bluish gray, has a grayish blue violet mane and tail, and her eyes were a light turquoise color. This filly is Maud Pie, Pinkie's second oldest sister.

The third and last filly is Marble Pie, Pinkie's youngest sister. Marble is a turquoise gray filly with a dark cyanish gray mane and tail, with spring-greenish gray streaks, and her eyes were a grayish violet.

Pinkie Pie { Explaining While The Screen Showed Her Old Home }: "Like Applejack I also grew up on a farm. Except, instead of apples, we harvested rocks. Other than that we lived a simple life,".

The family seems to be working hard on their farm but one of the fillies notices somepony is missing.

"Where's Pinkie Pie?" Limestone Pie asked a little annoyed Pinkie was missing from work, again.

"Perhaps she's in the barn. Maybe we should check on her," Maud suggested in her usual monotone voice. But she still cared about her sister.

"She's getting older. You think she would be more responsible," Limestone notes while heading toward the barn.

( Back At Theater )

The movie is paused as Pinkie's four friends are surprised. Seeing that Pinkie is so bubbly and excited, and her family behaves so mellow and average is a bit of a shock for them.

Fluttershy { Noting About Pinkies Family }: "I didn't know there were farms just about rocks. But your family seems nice,".

Pinkie { Speaking Excitedly }: "They sure are! Maud would especially make time to play with me or make rock candy. It has a secret ingredient…(whispers) it's rocks,".

Applejack { Speaking Nicely While Being Honest }: "It's Shure nice gitting to see yer family Pinkie Pie,".

Pinkie { Speaking While Grabbing Her Remote Control }: "Thanks, Applejack. Let's get back to the story,".

Pinkie then presses the play button on her remote and starts the movie again…

(Back in the movie)

The Pie family opens the barn doors, and steps inside. Once inside, they see a large party ready to take place.

"Hey, everypony! I know you've all been working hard on the farm, so I made this party for you," Pinkie said excitedly.

Everypony but Limestone was smiling. Pinkie Pie was always trying to make ponies smile.

"But Pinkie Pie, it's your birthday!" Maud said with Marble humming in agreement.

"I know. But you know that I like throwing parties for other ponies," Pinkie reminds her sister.

The party goes in full swing, with games, music, and even gifts for everypony.

Later at sunset, Pinkie and her family were still celebrating Pinkie's birthday. Pinkie had a lot of fun and her family have given her so many presents. Pinkie opened her final present and find a small rock with some moss on it. It was a gift from her sister Maud.

Pinkie looked at Maud with a smile and said, " A moss rock. Thanks, Maud, I love it,".

"I'm glad you love it, Pinkie. I decided to give you this as a memory," Maud said.

" And I'll always cherish it forever," Pinkie said as she puts the rock down with her other presents.

Cloudy Quartz then said as she held the cake in her hooves, " Alright, for the best part of Pinkie's party. Time for a song. Ready, everypony?".

Maud, Limestone, Marble, and Igneous got together as Marble blew her bazooka and Pinkie smiled as they began to sing their song for her.

Pinkie looked at her family with an embarrassed and amused face as they kept singing after each other. As the last lyrics were sung, Maud stretched her neck out and made a blow horn sound.

Cloudy Quartz { Singing }: Birth…

All Five Ponies { Singing }: Day to you.

Pinkie laughed at their song and they laughed as well.

"Oh, you guys are the bestest family I could ever have," Pinkie said, feeling very happy of her family singing a birthday song to her.

"Well, what can we say? You deserve it," Igneous said with a proud smile.

"Alright, time for you to make a wish, Pinkie," Cloudy Quartz said as she held the cake in front of Pinkie.

This is Pinkie's favorite part of the party. She gets to make a wish. Pinkie looked at the candle and thought about what she wanted to wish for. Then it hit her and she blew the candle out as she took a huge bite of a chunk of cake. Not to mention that Pinkie also caught some cream on her snout.

When Pinkie Pie makes her wish, her sisters ask what it was.

"What you wish for, Pinkie?" Maud asked first.

"Sorry, Maud. I can't tell you," Pinkie said, knowing they wanted her to blurt out what she wished for.

"Oh, please?" Marble asked next, giving Pinkie the puppy eyes.

"Sorry, I just can't. After all, it might bring bad luck," Pinkie said, warning her sisters about wanting to know her wish.

"Oh. Come on, Pinkie, please? What bad could possibly happen to us?" Limestone asked, while also pointing out the facts of what could possibly happen to them that could be bad luck.

Pinkie tried not to tell them but eventually, she gave in.

"Okay, you win. I wish...I could go...And spread joy and laughter to as many ponies as I can!" Pinkie Pie said with a smile.

"SPREAD JOY AND LAUGHTER TO OTHER PONIES?!" Limestone asked in shock.

Pinkie's family didn't take it so well. Limestone fell off her seat, Maud accidentally swallowed her bazooka, Marble looked shocked and Igneous and Cloudy Quartz just gasped.

"I told you guys it was bad luck," Pinkie said, telling them so.

Igneous and Cloudy Quartz were helping Maud to spit out the bazooka from her mouth.

"Spreading Joy and Laughter To Other Ponies? Pinkie, that's the weirdest wish I have ever heard," Limestone said as she got back up, and Maud finally spat out her bazooka.

"Yeah, you can't be serious," Maud said, coughing to catch her breath.

"But I am serious. So why can I?" Pinkie asked, wondering why her family think spreading joy and laughter to other ponies is crazy.

"Because they live in the outside world and it's dangerous," Igneous answered.

"Oh, come on. Just think about it. Going out there meeting new friends, exploring new places, and everypony having fun altogether," Pinkie said as she looked at the horizon out of the window and then turned back to her family.

"Well, there are some places where everypony could have fun altogether," Cloudy Quartz pointed out.

"There Is?" Pinkie asked.

"Yeah, there's the City Of Harmony. That place is where everypony has fun altogether…I think," Marble said in a timid tone, recalling what she had heard.

Pinkie became more inspired and more interested and asked, "So, this City Of Harmony has all those things?".

"Pinkie, don't you know what's also out there?" Limestone asked, warning Pinkie of the dangers out there.

"There's Alicorns, Diamond Dogs, and the Dragon Graveyard," Maud replied for her.

"Thank you, Maud," Limestone said, thanking her for helping.

"Oh, no it's okay. I don't have to go," Pinkie said, having second thoughts on her wish.

"I bet you can't even find a perfect new home for us out there, Pinkie. I mean you can't find those out there," Limestone said with a few doubts in her voice.

"But don't you think there might be a place where you could finally smile and be happy, Limestone?" Pinkie asked, knowing that most of the time Limestone has never smiled.

But Limestone remained silent from that question.

"Haven't any of you guys ever known what it would like to live a life outside of the rock farm? Making new friends? Or even spread joy and laughter?" Pinkie asked, raising a brow.

Pinkie's Family remained silent as they looked at her, including her parents. Then Marble broke the silence with a shake of her head.

"Sorry," Marble said.

"Mmm-mmm," Maud said next, shaking her head too.

"Well, you are good at that, Pinkie. But you can't just do that by staying on the farm. You gotta little something…," Limestone said, noting that she wasn't trying to be cruel, as she motioned her hoof to her cheek, telling Pinkie that she had some cream on her lips.

Pinkie sighed sadly and wiped the cream off her lips with a napkin.

"Thanks, guys. Thanks for my party. It's great...I guess," Pinkie said as she turned and walked away.

For the next few days, however, Pinkie Pie was out of sorts. What Limestone said made sense, but she didn't know how to tell her parents. Luckily she didn't need to.

Igneous, Cloudy Quartz, and Pinkie's sisters watched Pinkie sitting on top of a hill with a sad sigh. They think they might have hurt her feelings or something.

"What's wrong with her?" Marble asked, wondering what was wrong with Pinkie and why she was so blue.

"Maybe you should talk to her, Cloudy Quartz. Give her a Mother-Daughter talk," Igneous suggested, turning to his wife.

"Okay, I'll go talk to her," Cloudy Quartz said, agreeing with him as she looked at Pinkie and saw how sad she was. So she walked over and sat down as she looked up at the sunset sky.

Cloudy Quartz took a nice deep breath and exhaled as she said, "What a beautiful sunset sky. It doesn't get any better you know,".

Then something caught her eyes and she gasped in excitement.

"Oh, look Pinkie, the first stars are out tonight. Bet you can't find those in the outside world," Cloudy Quartz said, looking up at a single star in the sky.

"Mom, those are fireflies," Pinkie said, correcting her mother

And she was right for the stars were actually little fireflies as they flew away leaving no starry sky.

Cloudy Quartz looked at Pinkie and asked, "Pinkie, listen. I'm just asking. Why do you want to go and spread joy and laughter to other ponies?".

"Mom, look at me. I'm two years old, and my life is about making others happy. I mean I love the rock farm and all but I just like to go somewhere where nopony has never discovered or been to before," Pinkie said as she laid her head back down on her hill and sighed.

The two Earth Ponies remained silent for a moment. Then Cloudy Quartz's eyes widen for she might have an idea that just might make Pinkie feel better and make her smile too.

" Hey, Pinkie. I'm thinking of a song," She said.

" Mom, please. I'm not in the mood," Pinkie said, not feeling the mood.

" Oh, come on, Pinkie. It's a wonderful song. I'm sure you'll love it. It's the song your grandmother sang to you," Cloudy Quartz said with a giggle.

She then moved her hoof near Pinkie and began to sing…

Cloudy Quartz { Singing }: Dah, dah, dah-dah.

Dah, dah, dah-dah.

Dah, dah, dah-dah-dah-dah-dah!

While Cloudy Quartz was singing, Pinkie was trying to ignore it by covering her ears with her hooves and saying, " Oh, no, Mom. I'm not listening. La-la-la-la-la,".

Cloudy Quartz { Singing }: Start spreading the news.

Pinkie { Speaking } I don't know you.

Cloudy Quartz { Singing }: I'm leaving todaaaya!

We are a great big part of it!

Pinkie { Speaking to herself }: She's funny.

"Come on, Pinkie. You know you know the words. Two little words," Cloudy Quartz said, trying to get Pinkie to smile.

Pinkie tried to ignore it but hearing her mother's song really got to her. So Pinkie smiled and quietly said, "Our Home,".

Then she and her mother got together and sang the last lyrics together.

Bess and Hiss { Singing }: Our HOOOOOOMMMMEEEEE!

"Hah, hah. See? There's the Pinkie I know. Besides we make a good team," Cloudy Quartz said with a smile.

"Yeah, we do make a good team. But in order for us to stay as a team, I might as well stay in the farm, huh?" Pinkie said as she went back to sadness.

"Nope!" Cloudy Quartz said.

"What?" Pinkie asked in surprise, she never heard her mother say she doesn't need to stay at the Rock Farm before.

"You should totally go. Go on! Find what you're looking for, make new friends, spread joy and laughter to others, and maybe who knows you might even find a better home for all of us," Cloudy Quartz said, encouraging her daughter to follow her dream and make her wish come true.

Pinkie looked at her mother with surprise in her eyes and then hugged her. Cloudy Quartz was surprised by her daughters' sudden hugging but she reciprocates and hugs her back.

" Thanks, Mom. You're the best," Pinkie said, hugging her mother with a smile on her face.

"I tried," Cloudy Quartz said as they continued hugging before stopping.

And after having a long talk about being safe and promising to see them again someday with the rest of her family, Pinkie Pie went on her way, eating a rock candy necklace that Maud has made for her, while her family watched her leave with tearful eyes and smiles of pride.

Author's Note: Hey, everybody. It's me Dinoman213, again. Sorry for the long wait, Redwall4ever22 and I have been brainstorming again to see how Pinkie Pie's backstory will play out and well here it is. The lickety-split.

That just leaves two more backstories. And don't worry that backstory will come out either tonight or maybe perhaps tomorrow morning or night.
